Abstract

To provide a railway vehicle structure in which transverse and longitudinal bones can be easily positioned.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle structure 1 comprises an outer plate 11 that constitutes an outer surface of a railway vehicle, a transverse bone 12 that extends in a longitudinal direction of the railway vehicle, and a longitudinal bone 13 that extends in a height direction of the railway vehicle. The transverse bone 12 and the longitudinal bone 13 are composed of hat-shaped materials K1, K2 having a body portion comprising a pair of side surfaces and a top surface and a flange portion protruding from the body portion. At an intersection portion P between the transverse bone 12 and the longitudinal bone 13, the transverse bone 12 and the longitudinal bone 13 are positioned by a positioning portion F which is formed with a notched portion of the flange portion to be joined to the outer plate 11 in one of the transverse bone 12 and the longitudinal bone 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
