Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a method and the like for constructing a scaffold for maintenance and inspection inside a large boiler body such as a power generation boiler.

Background Art

[0002] Maintenance and inspection of the furnace walls, burner boxes and the like of large boilers installed in thermal power plants and the like are performed by constructing a scaffold inside the boiler body. In addition, as boilers have become larger, the scaffolds themselves have also become enormous, and since it takes time to construct the scaffolds, efficient scaffold construction is required.

[0003] Under such circumstances, regarding the construction of scaffolds inside boiler bodies, a technique is known in which a scaffold is divided into an upper scaffold and a lower scaffold, and both are constructed in parallel to shorten the construction period. For example, as shown in FIG. 21, Patent Document 1 discloses a method in which a lifting work floor 304 is raised to just below a water tube nose portion 305 using a jack main body 302 installed on a boiler steel frame 301 and strands (wires) 303, and an upper scaffold 306 and a lower scaffold 307 are constructed in parallel across the lifting work floor 304.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] However, the method described in Patent Document 1 had drawbacks due to the use of strands 303 as suspension material when raising and lowering the lifting work platform 304. For example, when raising and lowering the lifting work platform 304 using a jack body 302 equipped with a gripping mechanism, the gripping mechanism uses a high-friction material to grip the strands 303 with strong force, resulting in the strands 303 becoming worn out after a single use and being unable to be reused.

[0006] In view of these problems, the present invention aims to provide a method for constructing scaffolding inside a boiler that can reduce the cost of constructing scaffolding inside a boiler by using a reusable material as a suspension member for the lifting work platform used when constructing scaffolding inside a boiler. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] One aspect of the present invention is a method for constructing an internal scaffolding within a boiler body, wherein the internal scaffolding has a lower scaffolding and an upper scaffolding constructed on either side of a lifting work platform suspended within the boiler body by a first lifting device, the first lifting device has an extension-type suspension plate vertically installed within the boiler body, and a lifting device body for raising and lowering an object to be lifted using the extension-type suspension plate, and the first lifting device is installed above the boiler body. The process includes: a first lifting device installation step; a lifting work platform raising step in which the lifting work platform is constructed on the lower work platform built inside the boiler hopper, the lower end of the extension-type suspension plate is fixed to the lifting work platform, and the lifting work platform is raised by the first lifting device; a lower scaffolding construction step in which the lower scaffolding is constructed between the lower work platform and the lifting work platform; and an upper scaffolding construction step in which the upper scaffolding is constructed on the lifting work platform, wherein the lower scaffolding construction step and the upper scaffolding construction step are performed in parallel. The extension-type suspension plate of the first lifting device is made up of multiple strip-shaped suspension plate members pin-joined in the longitudinal direction, the lifting device body of the first lifting device is an electric chain hoist, and the electric chain hoist is suspended from the beam of an electric chain hoist suspension frame having multiple legs and a beam erected on them. It is characterized by the following: [Effects of the Invention]

[0008] According to one aspect of the present invention, the cost of constructing scaffolding inside a boiler can be reduced by using reusable, extendable suspension plates as suspension members for the lifting work platform used when constructing scaffolding inside a boiler. [0010] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the method for constructing a scaffold inside a boiler according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The scaffold inside the boiler has a lower scaffold and an upper scaffold that are constructed in the boiler main body with an elevating work floor suspended by a first elevating device interposed therebetween. The method for constructing a scaffold inside a boiler is to construct the upper scaffold and the lower scaffold in parallel to shorten the construction period.

[0011] [1. Method for Constructing Scaffold Inside Boiler] The method for constructing a scaffold inside a boiler according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 18. In the present embodiment, in order to elevate and lower a lifting target such as the elevating work floor, an elevating device having a re-usable extendable suspension plate as a suspension member is adopted.

[0012] [2. Elevating Device] First, the configuration and usage method of the lifting device 10 will be explained with reference to Figures 1-9. As shown in Figure 4, the lifting device 10 has an extension-type lifting plate 30 (see Figure 13) which is made up of multiple lifting plate members 15 connected in the longitudinal direction and installed vertically inside the boiler body, and an electric chain hoist 11 (an example of the "lifting device body") which raises and lowers the object to be lifted using the extension-type lifting plate 30.

[0013] As shown in Figure 1, the suspension plate member 15 has a rectangular shape, and connecting pin holes 15a and 15c (an example of a "first pin hole") through which connecting pins are inserted are formed at the upper and lower ends, respectively. In addition, a fixing pin hole 15b (an example of a "second pin hole") through which a fixing pin is inserted is formed slightly below the connecting pin hole 15a. The cross-sectional shape of at least one of the connecting pins and fixing pins may be circular, elliptical, or polygonal.

[0014] Furthermore, a stepped portion 15d is formed near (slightly above) the connecting pin hole 15c. This allows the longitudinal axes of multiple hanging plate members 15 to be aligned in a straight line when the connecting pin hole 15a of one hanging plate member 15 and the connecting pin hole 15c of the other hanging plate member 15 are connected, thereby improving the overall vertical accuracy of the connected extension-type hanging plate 30.

[0015] Next, we will explain the processing flow when extending the extension-type lifting plate 30 downwards in order to lower the object to be lifted by the lifting device 10.

[0016] First, as shown in Figure 2, an electric chain hoist suspension frame 100 is installed at the location where the lifting device 10 is to be installed. The electric chain hoist suspension frame 100 has a plurality of legs 102 and a beam 104 supported by these legs. The legs 102 are installed, for example, on the upper surface of an H-beam at the installation location. The electric chain hoist 11 is suspended from the beam 104. Between the plurality of legs 102 and below the suspended electric chain hoist 11, fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B (an example of "fixing pin receivers") are provided to temporarily receive fixing pins 17 (see Figure 3) inserted through fixing pin holes 15b.

[0017] The electric chain hoist 11 uses the power of an electric motor to wind up or wind down the chain, raising or lowering the object to be lifted, which is attached to the fitting 13. The fitting 13 has a pin hole, and the lifting plate member 15 is attached by aligning it with the connecting pin hole 15a of the lifting plate member 15 and inserting the connecting pin through it.

[0018] Next, as shown in Figure 3, the suspension plate member 15, with the fixing pin 17 inserted through the fixing pin hole 15b, is positioned with its longitudinal direction vertical, so that the fixing pin 17 is temporarily supported by the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B. The fixing pin 17 is provided with a conventionally known retaining mechanism to prevent it from falling out of the fixing pin hole 15b.

[0019] Furthermore, the electric chain hoist suspension frame 100 is equipped with rotation prevention guides 109A and 109B (an example of a "prevention guide") that physically restrict the horizontal rotation of the extension-type suspension plate 30 (suspension plate member 15) while the object to be lifted is being raised, lowered, or stopped. The rotation prevention guides 109A and 109B are provided on the side of the extension-type suspension plate 30 (suspension plate member 15) at a position in contact with the extension-type suspension plate 30 (suspension plate member 15) or at a predetermined distance apart. When the extension-type suspension plate 30 (suspension plate member 15) rotates horizontally, the extension-type suspension plate 30 (suspension plate member 15) comes into contact with the rotation prevention guides 109A and 109B, thereby restricting the rotation of the extension-type suspension plate 30 (suspension plate member 15). This enables stable raising, lowering, or stopping of the object to be lifted.

[0020] Next, as shown in Figure 4, a new suspension plate member 15B is placed between the suspension plate member 15A, which is temporarily supported by the fixed pin receivers 106A and 106B, and the electric chain hoist 11. Then, the connecting pin hole 15a of the suspension plate member 15A and the connecting pin hole 15c of the suspension plate member 15B are aligned, and the connecting pin 19A is inserted to pin-connect the two. Similarly, the pin hole of the fitting 13 and the connecting pin hole 15a of the suspension plate member 15B are aligned, and the connecting pin 19B is inserted to pin-connect the two. Note that the connecting pins 19A and 19B are provided with a conventionally known retaining mechanism to prevent them from falling out of the connecting pin holes 15a and 15c.

[0021] Next, as shown in Figure 5, the electric chain hoist 11 raises the lifting plate members 15A and 15B, detaching the fixing pin 17 from the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B, and releasing the temporary support provided by the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B.

[0022] Next, as shown in Figure 6, remove the fixing pin 17 that was inserted through the fixing pin hole 15b of the suspension plate member 15A.

[0023] Next, as shown in Figure 7, the electric chain hoist 11 lowers the suspension plate members 15A and 15B so that the fixing pin hole 15b of the suspension plate member 15A passes between the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B, and then the fixing pin 17 is inserted through the fixing pin hole 15b of the suspension plate member 15B.

[0024] Next, as shown in Figure 8, the electric chain hoist 11 further lowers the suspension plate members 15A and 15B, and the fixing pin 17 is temporarily supported by the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B. As a result, the load of the extension suspension plate 30 is temporarily supported by the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B.

[0025] Next, remove the connecting pin 19B that was inserted through the connecting pin hole 15a of the suspension plate member 15B and the pin hole of the fitting 13. Once the connecting pin 19B is removed, pull the fitting 13 of the electric chain hoist 11 upward, as shown in Figure 9. This will result in a state similar to that in Figure 3 (the only difference being the number of suspension plate members temporarily supporting the load with the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B). By repeating the same process, the extension suspension plate 30 can be extended downwards by adding suspension plate members 15 from above. Note that by performing the same process in the reverse cycle, the extension suspension plate 30 can be pulled upwards (shortened).

[0026] [3. Procedure for constructing scaffolding inside the boiler] Next, the procedure for constructing scaffolding inside the boiler will be explained with reference to the flowcharts in Figures 10 and 11.

[0027] [3.1. Lower work platform construction process: Step S11] First, as shown in Figure 12, a lower work platform 3 is constructed inside the boiler hopper H at the bottom of the boiler body B.

[0028] [3.2. Installation process of the first lifting device: Step S12] Next, as shown in Figure 13, a lifting device 10 is installed above the boiler body B. Specifically, an electric chain hoist suspension frame 100 is installed on the boiler steel frame 1 outside the boiler body B, and an electric chain hoist 11 is suspended from the beam 104. The lifting device 10 installed above the boiler body B is referred to as the first lifting device 10.

[0029] [3.3. Construction Process for Lifting and Lowering Work Platform: Step S13] Furthermore, a lifting work platform 50 is constructed on the lower work platform 3. The lifting work platform construction process may be carried out in parallel with the first lifting device installation process (step S12).

[0030] [3.4. Installation process of the second lifting device: Step S14] Next, a lifting device 10 is installed on the lifting work platform 50. The lifting device 10 installed on the lifting work platform 50 has an extendable lifting plate 30 and an electric chain hoist 11, and will be referred to as the second lifting device 10 below.

[0031] [3.5. Lifting work platform raising process: Step S15] Next, as shown in Figure 14, the lower end of the extension-type suspension plate 30 of the first lifting device 10 is fixed to the lifting work platform 50. Then, as shown in Figure 15, the lifting work platform 50 is raised by the first lifting device 10. As shown in Figure 16, the lifting work platform 50 is raised to directly below the water pipe nose section N.

[0032] [3.6. Construction Process of Upper Scaffolding: Step S16-1] Next, as shown in Figure 17, an upper scaffolding 70 is constructed on the lifting work platform 50. The upper scaffolding 70 consists of multiple levels of scaffolding and is constructed up to the upper end inside the boiler body. Conventional wedge-type scaffolding or frame scaffolding can be used as the upper scaffolding 70.

[0033] [3.7. Lower scaffolding construction process: Step S16-2] In parallel with the upper scaffolding construction process (step S16-1), the lower scaffolding 60 is constructed between the lower work platform 3 and the lifting work platform 50. Here, the lower scaffolding construction process will be described in detail with reference to the flowchart shown in Figure 11.

[0034] [3.7.1. Suspension beam frame connection process: Step S31] As shown in Figure 16, below the raised lifting work platform 50, a suspended beam frame 52 for supporting the lower scaffolding is constructed on the lower work platform 3. Next, the lower end of the extension-type suspension plate 30 that extends downward in the second lifting device 10 is connected to the suspended beam frame 52 for supporting the lower scaffolding 60.

[0035] The extension-type suspension plate 30 in the second lifting device 10 may be extended downward after the completion of the lifting work platform raising process (step S15), or it may be extended downward as the lifting work platform 50 rises. When extending the extension-type suspension plate 30 downward, the extension-type suspension plate 30 is extended downward by sequentially adding suspension plate members 15 to the extension-type suspension plate 30 of the second lifting device 10 on the lifting work platform 50 side.

[0036] [3.7.2. Scaffolding extension process: Step S32] Next, as shown in Figure 17, new scaffolding is added on the lower work platform 3, beneath the suspended beam frame 52 or the already constructed scaffolding of the previous steps. The lower scaffolding 60 is constructed by adding 16 steps of scaffolding one step at a time from the bottom.

[0037] In the flowchart of Figure 11, if the process proceeds from the suspended beam frame connection process (step S31) to the scaffolding extension process (step S32), the second lifting device 10 slightly lifts the suspended beam frame 52 to create space below it. This space is used to construct the 16th level of scaffolding, and the 16th level of scaffolding is connected to the suspended beam frame 52, thereby extending the scaffolding.

[0038] On the other hand, if the process proceeds to the scaffolding extension process (step S32) following the determination process (step S34: NO) described later, the scaffolding is extended by constructing a lower level of scaffolding using the space below the level of scaffolding that was extended in the previous scaffolding extension process (step S32), and connecting this lower level of scaffolding to the level of scaffolding that was extended in the previous step.

[0039] [3.7.3. Lifting Process: Step S33] Next, the second lifting device 10 lifts the already constructed scaffolding along with the suspended beam frame 52. At this time, while lifting with the second lifting device 10, the suspension plate members 15 that constitute the extension suspension plate 30 of the second lifting device 10 are sequentially removed on the lifting work platform 50 side. The height to be lifted is approximately the height of one step of scaffolding.

[0040] [3.7.4. Judgment Process: Step S34] Next, it is determined whether the suspended beam frame 52 has reached the vicinity of the lifting work platform 50. Alternatively, it may be determined whether the lower scaffolding 60 has been extended up to the 17th step. If the suspended beam frame 52 has reached the vicinity of the lifting work platform 50 (step S34: "YES"), the process proceeds to the lifting equipment installation process (step S17 in Figure 10); if it has not reached the vicinity (step S34: "NO"), the process proceeds to the scaffolding extension process (step S32). In other words, the scaffolding extension process (step S32) and the lifting process (step S33) are repeated until the suspended beam frame 52 reaches the vicinity of the lifting work platform 50.

[0041] [3.8. Installation process for lifting equipment: Step S17] Once the lower scaffolding construction process (step S16-2) is completed, a lifting device (not shown) is installed between the lifting work platform 50 and the lower scaffolding 60. This allows workers to move between the lower scaffolding 60 and the upper scaffolding 70.

[0042] As described above, in the boiler scaffolding construction method according to this embodiment, the boiler scaffolding has a lower scaffolding 60 and an upper scaffolding 70 constructed on either side of a lifting work platform 50 suspended by a first lifting device 10 inside the boiler body B, the first lifting device 10 has an extension-type suspension plate 30 installed vertically inside the boiler body B, and an electric chain hoist 11 (an example of the "lifting device body") that lifts and lowers an object to be lifted using the extension-type suspension plate 30, and the first lifting device installation step (step S12) installs the first lifting device 10 above the boiler body B, and The process includes a lifting work platform raising step (step S15) in which a lifting work platform 50 is constructed on a lower work platform 3 built inside the Lahopper H, the lower end of an extension-type suspension plate 30 is fixed to the lifting work platform 50, and the lifting work platform 50 is raised by a first lifting device 10; a lower scaffolding construction step (step S16-2) in which a lower scaffolding 60 is constructed between the lower work platform 3 and the lifting work platform 50; and an upper scaffolding construction step (step S16-1) in which an upper scaffolding 70 is constructed on the lifting work platform 50, with the lower scaffolding construction step (step S16-2) and the upper scaffolding construction step (step S16-1) being carried out in parallel.

[0043] Therefore, according to the boiler scaffolding construction method of this embodiment, the cost of constructing boiler scaffolding can be reduced by using a reusable, extendable suspension plate 30 as a suspension material for the lifting work platform 50 used when constructing scaffolding inside the boiler body B.

[0044] Furthermore, it is preferable that the color of the extendable suspension plate 30 (suspension plate member 15) differs from the color of at least one of the members (scaffolding members) of the lower scaffolding 60 and the upper scaffolding 70. Specifically, in order to ensure visual identification, the suspension plate member 15 is set to a contrasting color that has a significantly different brightness or hue from the color of the scaffolding member. For example, if the scaffolding member is metallic or dark in color, setting the suspension plate member 15 to a highly visible color such as yellow or orange, or a brown color, makes it easier for workers to distinguish the suspension plate member 15 from the scaffolding member, thereby preventing accidental cutting.

[0045] This prevents accidental cutting of strands, which could occur when using strands as suspension materials. Furthermore, it eliminates the need to attach protective materials to the strands to prevent accidental cutting, thus avoiding the risk of protective materials falling off. In addition, when using strands, it was necessary to connect the lifting work platform 50 and the lower scaffolding 60 with fixing members to prevent swaying after the construction of the lower scaffolding 60 was completed. However, since the extendable suspension plate 30 is composed of strip-shaped suspension plate members 15 and has high rigidity, the work of connecting the lifting work platform 50 and the lower scaffolding 60 can be omitted.

[0046] Furthermore, in order to lift the lifting work platform 50 and the lower scaffolding 60, multiple first lifting devices 10 need to be installed at horizontal intervals according to the total weight of the object to be lifted. In this case, each first lifting device 10 is connected to a control device (not shown), and the control device synchronizes the lifting speed and timing of each first lifting device 10. This makes it possible to precisely maintain the horizontality of the lifting work platform 50 and the suspended beam frame 52 while preventing accidents caused by uneven loads. When multiple second lifting devices 10 are installed at horizontal intervals, the lifting of each second lifting device is synchronized by the control device, similar to the first lifting devices 10. [4. Variant] The following describes some variations of this embodiment. Each variation can be combined as appropriate.

[0047] [4.1. Variation 1] In this embodiment, a second lifting device 10 is installed on the lifting work platform 50, and the lower end of the extension-type suspension plate 30 of the second lifting device 10 is connected to the suspension beam frame 52. The lower scaffolding 60, which is under construction, is lifted by the suspension beam frame 52 while the lower scaffolding 60 is being constructed. However, instead, the lower scaffolding 60 may be a self-supporting scaffolding instead of a suspended one. That is, in the lower scaffolding construction process (step S16-2), a self-supporting lower scaffolding 60 may be constructed on the lower work platform 3, similar to the upper scaffolding 70. Conventional "wedge-type scaffolding" or "frame scaffolding" can be used as the self-supporting lower scaffolding 60. According to Modification 1, it is not necessary to install the second lifting device 10 on the lifting work platform 50, thus reducing costs.

[0048] [4.2. Variation 2] The electric chain hoist suspension frame 100 may be equipped with an electric pin insertion device that electrically inserts a fixing pin 17 into the fixing pin hole 15b (an example of a "second pin hole"). This eliminates the need for manual work by workers and reduces the risk of injury.

[0049] [4.3. Variation 3] The electric chain hoist suspension frame 100 may be equipped with an electric pin insertion device that electrically inserts connecting pins 19 into connecting pin holes 15a and 15c (an example of the "first pin holes"). This eliminates the need for manual work by workers and reduces the risk of injury.

[0050] [4.4. Modification 4] As shown in Figure 19, the electric chain hoist suspension frame 100 may be equipped with at least one of the following: a proximity sensor 108A for detecting connecting pins that detects whether the connecting pin 19A is correctly inserted through the pin hole 15a of the fitting 13 and the connecting pin hole 15a of the suspension plate member 15B, and a proximity sensor 108B for detecting connecting pins that detect whether the connecting pin 19B is correctly inserted through the connecting pin hole 15c of the suspension plate member 15B and the connecting pin hole 15a of the suspension plate member 15A. This allows for detection of insufficient pin insertion and prevents raising and lowering in an incompletely connected state. The electric chain hoist suspension frame 100 may also be equipped with a proximity sensor 108C for detecting fixing pins that detects whether the fixing pin 17 is correctly inserted through the fixing pin hole 15b of the suspension plate member 15A. This allows for detection of insufficient pin insertion and prevents temporary support in an incompletely inserted state.

[0051] [4.5. Variation 5] As shown in Figure 20, the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B may be movable so that they can move in the directions indicated by the arrows 110A and 110B, respectively. Specifically, the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B can be moved to a position where they do not come into contact with the fixing pins 17 when the suspension plate members 15A and 15B are lowered. When the fixing pins 17 are temporarily supported by the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B, the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B are moved to the position shown in Figure 4, and when the suspension plate members 15A and 15B are lowered, the fixing pin receivers 106A and 106B are moved to the position shown in Figure 20. This makes it possible to raise and lower the suspension plate members 15A and 15B with the fixing pins 17 still inserted without removing them, thus eliminating the need to remove the fixing pins 17.
