[0042] The spray amount of the pesticide aerosol used in the method of the present invention at 20°C varies depending on the spray amount per second and the spray time, with examples including, but not limited to, 0.5 to 10 seconds. Examples of spray amounts and spray times include 1 to 200 g / 5 seconds, preferably 1 to 50 g / 5 seconds, and more preferably 1 to 30 g / 5 seconds. A spray amount within the above range results in less wetting of the target surface with spray particles and excellent usability. The spray amount of the one-push aerosol at 20°C is not particularly limited, but examples include 0.01 to 0.5 g per push, preferably 0.05 to 0.3 g, and more preferably 0.1 to 0.2 g. Multiple one-push sprays may also be used. The spray amount can be adjusted by adjusting the specifications of the aerosol valve, the nozzle hole diameter of the spray button, the nozzle shape, the type of propellant, the content ratio of the concentrate to the propellant, and the internal pressure of the container. The internal pressure of the container is preferably 0.3 to 0.6 MPa. The particle size of the compound sprayed from the nozzle is not particularly limited, but examples thereof include a representative particle size (representative particle size: XR value calculated by the Rosin-Rammler distribution method) of 1 to 250 μm at 20°C and a spray distance of 30 cm, preferably 3 to 100 μm, and more preferably 5 to 50 μm. Specific examples include 1.5, 10, 14, 15, 30, 50, 100, and 200 μm. Similar ranges can be mentioned for one-push aerosols.
[0043] The control method of the present invention is carried out by spraying an effective amount of the present compound onto sanitary pests, places where sanitary pests can pass through, and / or places where sanitary pests can inhabit. Specifically, the control method is carried out by using an aerosol containing the present compound and spraying the compound onto sanitary pests, places where sanitary pests can pass through, and / or places where sanitary pests can inhabit. In the present invention, "control" includes extermination and prevention. In practice, it is desirable to spray an aerosol containing the present compound toward the space of the place to be controlled. The spray amount in this case is usually 0.001 to 1000 mg / m2, calculated as the amount of the present compound. 3 and preferably 0.001 to 100 mg / m 3and more preferably 0.01 to 10 mg / m 3 The aerosol containing the present compound can be sprayed in a room, a living room, a dining room, a closet, a storage closet, a Japanese-style chest of drawers or other cabinets, a cupboard, a toilet, a bathroom, a storeroom, a warehouse, the inside of a car, or in an open space outdoors.
[0044] The method of the present invention can also be used as a total spray aerosol formulation to enhance insecticidal activity and persistence and to provide an effective control method for sanitary pests that are resistant to insecticides.

[0060] Formulation Example 2: 0.1 parts of SX, 9.0 parts of Solvesso 200ND, and 20.9 parts of Neothiosol were placed in an aerosol container (Toyo Seikan, WE290WO), a valve was attached to the aerosol container, and a propellant (liquefied petroleum gas (propane / butane mixture, gas pressure 3.5 kg / cm)) was poured through the valve. 2 The container was filled with 70 parts of a 1:1 mixture (by weight of dimethyl ether and ethanol) (20°C) and dimethyl ether, and an actuator was attached to obtain an oily aerosol containing the present compound.
[0061] Formulation Example 3: An aqueous solution obtained by dissolving 0.1 parts of SX in 60 parts of deionized water was placed in an aerosol container. A solution obtained by dissolving 1 part of sorbitan monooleate (trade name: Rheodol SP-010, Kao Corporation) in 18.9 parts of Neothiosol (a saturated hydrocarbon solvent, Chuo Kasei Co., Ltd.) was added to the aerosol container, and a valve was attached to the aerosol container. A propellant (liquefied petroleum gas (propane / butane mixture, gas pressure 3.5 kg / cm)) was poured into the aerosol container through the valve. 2 20 parts of a 100% aqueous solution of the present compound (20 parts of ethanol, 20°C) was filled into the container, and an actuator was attached to the container to obtain an aqueous aerosol containing the present compound.
[0062] Formulation Example 4 0.2 parts of SX and 10.0 parts of absolute ethanol were placed in an aerosol container, a valve was attached, 89.8 parts of dimethyl ether was added through the valve, and an actuator was attached to prepare a total-amount spray aerosol.
[0063] Formulation Example 5 0.1 parts of SX was placed in a pressure-resistant container in advance, and after a pressure valve was attached to the pressure-resistant container, 99.9 parts of a propellant (liquefied carbon dioxide gas) was injected from the nozzle side to obtain an aerosol.
[0064] Next, the excellent control effect of the method of the present invention will be demonstrated by test examples. Compound A, Compound B, and Comparative Compounds 1 to 4 are compounds listed in Table 2. Comparative Compounds 1 and 2 are compounds listed in Patent Document 4, and Comparative Compounds 3 and 4 are compounds listed in Patent Document 3.
[0065]
[0066] Aerosol preparations containing the compounds shown in Table 2 were prepared according to the method described in Formulation Example 2. The internal pressure of the container of the prepared aerosol preparation at 20°C was 0.5 MPa, the spray amount was 3 g / 5 seconds, and the typical particle size (XR value) was 14 to 15 μm.
[0067] Test Example 1: Ten adult German cockroaches (five males and five females) were released into a plastic container (diameter: 12.4 cm, height: 10.2 cm), and placed in the center of the bottom of a cylindrical chamber with a diameter of 17.2 cm. An aerosol containing a compound shown in Table 2, prepared according to the method described in Formulation Example 2, was sprayed from a height of 50 cm for 1.35 seconds with an amount of approximately 800 mg sprayed. One day after spraying, the number of dead and distressed individuals was counted, and the percentage of distressed individuals was calculated using the following formula 1. Dead individuals refer to individuals that have completely stopped moving, and distressed individuals refer to individuals that cannot get up when placed on their backs. The results are shown in Table 3. (Formula 1): Percentage of distressed individuals (%) = {(number of dead individuals + number of distressed individuals) / number of individuals tested} x 100
[0068]
[0069] Test Example 2: Ten Argentine ant workers were released into a plastic cup (diameter: 10 cm, height: 4.5 cm) lined with filter paper (diameter: 8.2 cm). The cup was placed at the center of the bottom of a cylindrical chamber with a diameter of 17.2 cm. An aerosol containing a compound listed in Table 2, prepared according to the method described in Formulation Example 2, was sprayed from a height of 60 cm for a spray time of 0.34 or 0.68 seconds and an amount of approximately 400 mg or 200 mg. Seven days after spraying, the number of dead and agonizing individuals was counted, and the agonizing insect rate (%) was calculated using the following formula 2. Dead individuals refer to individuals that have completely stopped moving, and agonizing individuals refer to individuals that cannot get up when placed on their backs. The results are shown in Table 4. (Formula 2): agonizing insect rate (%) = {(number of dead individuals + number of agonizing individuals) / number of test individuals} x 100
[0070] From this, it was found that the present compounds A and B have a superior control effect against sanitary pests to the comparative compounds 1 to 4.
[0071] The method using the aerosol formulation of the present invention is free from the risk of contamination to the surroundings, has excellent efficacy, and is suitable for controlling sanitary pests.
