[0037] The structure between the second solar panel 13B and the third solar panel 13C is also configured to be able to be held and connected in the same manner as the first solar panel 13A and the third solar panel 13C.
[0038] Returning to Figure 3, a pair of protruding pieces 57, 57 extending toward the indoor side are formed near the lower end of the first protruding piece 39 of the upper frame panel holding portion 36. An airtight material 74 is provided in a recess 58 surrounded by the first protruding piece 39 and the pair of protruding pieces 57, 57. When the solar panel 13 (13A, 13B, 13C) is attached to the curtain wall 3, the outdoor side surfaces 75, 76, 78 of the solar panel 13 are in surface contact with the airtight material 74. The outdoor side surfaces 75, 76, 78 of the solar panel 13 are in surface contact with the airtight material 74 over substantially the entire width direction. An airtight line is formed by the contact between the solar panel 13 and the airtight material 74.
[0039] As shown in Figure 4, a pair of protruding pieces 95, 95 extending toward the indoor side are formed near the upper end of the fourth protruding piece 51 of the lower frame panel holding portion 48. An airtight material 74 is provided in a recess 96 surrounded by the fourth protruding piece 51 and the pair of protruding pieces 95, 95. When the solar panel 13 (13A, 13B, 13C) is attached to the curtain wall 3, the outdoor-side surfaces 75, 76, 78 of the solar panel 13 are in surface contact with the airtight material 74. The outdoor-side surfaces 75, 76, 78 of the solar panel 13 are in surface contact with the airtight material 74 over substantially the entire width direction. An airtight line is formed by the contact between the solar panel 13 and the airtight material 74.
[0040] With the solar panel 13 attached to the curtain wall 3, the airtight material 74 is in contact with the entire periphery of the surfaces 75, 76, 78 of the solar panel 13. Airtight lines are formed at the positions of the surfaces 75, 76, 78 of the solar panel 13.
[0041] As shown in FIG. 3 , a cover member 90 is provided at the boundary between the solar panel 13 and the room 7. The cover member 90 is formed in a generally L-shape in side view. The cover member 90 includes a side plate 91 extending vertically and an upper plate 92 extending from the upper end of the side plate 91 toward the exterior. The cover member 90 is formed by bending a steel plate. The cover member 90 is formed to have a length approximately equal to the width of the curtain wall 3. The side plate 91 is connected to a connecting piece 93 extending up from the floor 6 near its lower end using a screw 94. The screw 94 is located below the upper surface of the floor panel 18. The exterior end of the upper plate 92 is positioned in contact with the frame 11 of the curtain wall 3. When the cover member 90 is attached, the solar panel 13 is not visible.
[0042] The solar panel 13 is equipped with electrical wiring (not shown) such as a power cable. The electrical wiring is connected, for example, to the back surface 77 of the first solar panel 13A and is arranged on the indoor side through the gap between the heat-insulating panel 14 and the frame 11. Because the electrical wiring is arranged on the indoor side of the airtight line, it does not affect the airtightness of the curtain wall 3.
[0043] As shown in Figures 3 to 5, outside air introduction holes 99 are formed in the frame body 11 of the curtain wall 3. The outside air introduction holes 99 are formed in the vertical frames 23, 24. The outside air introduction holes 99 are circular. The outside air introduction holes 99 are formed in two locations on each of the vertical frames 23, 24, spaced apart in the vertical direction, for a total of four locations. The outside air introduction holes 99 may be formed in only two locations, one below the vertical frame 23 and one above the vertical frame 24. The outside air introduction holes 99 may be formed only in two locations spaced apart in the vertical direction on the vertical frame 23, and not on the vertical frame 24. The outside air introduction holes 99 may have a shape other than circular.
[0044] A method for performing maintenance on the solar panel 13 will now be described.
[0045] First, remove the cover member 90 corresponding to the location where the solar panel 13 to be maintained is located. To remove the cover member 90, partially remove the floor panel 18 in that location. Remove the screws 94 connecting the cover member 90 to the connecting pieces 93, and then remove the cover member 90.
[0046] Next, remove the upper frame panel holding portion 36. To remove the upper frame panel holding portion 36, remove the screw 94 connecting the upper frame panel holding portion 36 to the upper frame connecting portion 35. Once the screw 94 is removed, the upper frame panel holding portion 36 can be removed.
[0047] Next, the solar panels 13 are removed. First, the third solar panel 13C is removed by lifting it vertically upward. The third solar panel 13C is not fixed anywhere, but is only held between the first solar panel 13A and the second solar panel 13B, so it can be easily lifted and removed. Next, the second solar panel 13B is removed by lifting it vertically upward. Finally, the first solar panel 13A is removed by lifting it vertically upward. At this time, there are no obstacles such as shoji screens on the upper floors vertically above the solar panel 13, and an attachment / detachment space 98 is formed, so the solar panel 13 can be easily removed.
[0048] Once maintenance of the solar panel 13 is completed, the solar panel 13 is returned to its original position. The solar panel 13 to be returned may be the same as the one that was removed, or it may be a new product. When returning the solar panel 13, the solar panel 13 can be easily returned to its original position within the curtain wall 3 from the living room 7 side by reversing the above-mentioned procedure.
[0049] The curtain wall 3 comprises a glass panel 12 arranged on the exterior side of the room, and a solar panel 13 arranged at a distance on the interior side of the glass panel 12. The solar panel 13 is installed so that it can be attached and detached from the living room 7 side. The curtain wall 3 allows for easy maintenance of the solar panel 13. Because the solar panel 13 is arranged at a distance on the interior side of the glass panel 12, the solar panel 13 is difficult to see from the outside, allowing for an attractive exterior design.
[0050] Since the solar panels 13 are installed in the spandrel section 20, dead space in the building 1 can be effectively utilized.
[0051] The solar panel 13 is provided with a cover member 90 detachably attached to the frame 11 of the curtain wall 3 on the side facing the room 7 above the solar panel 13, and an upper frame panel holding portion 36 formed with a recess 42 for holding the upper end of the solar panel 13 and detachably attached to the frame 11 of the curtain wall 3. The solar panel 13 can be attached and removed from the room 7 side simply by removing the cover member 90 and the upper frame panel holding portion 36.
[0052] A space 98 for attaching and detaching the solar panel 13 is formed above the installation position of the solar panel 13. When performing maintenance on the solar panel 13 from the living room 7 side, the solar panel 13 can be easily lifted vertically upward. There are no obstacles when returning the solar panel 13 to the inside of the curtain wall 3, and the solar panel 13 can be smoothly installed in its original position.
[0053] An airtight material 74 is arranged around the periphery of the outdoor surface of the solar panel 13. By attaching the solar panel 13 to a predetermined position, the surface of the solar panel 13 and the airtight material 74 come into contact with each other, thereby reliably forming an airtight line.
[0054] The curtain wall 3 includes a frame 11 that holds the glass panels 12, and outside air introduction holes 99 are formed in the frame 11 that is disposed around the space formed between the glass panels 12B of the spandrel portion 20 and the solar panels 13. The temperature inside the space does not become too high, allowing the solar panels 13 to function effectively.
[0055] Second Embodiment A second embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to FIGS. 7 to 9. The same components as those in the first embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals, and a description thereof will be omitted. The solar panel 100 used in this embodiment is a flexible sheet-like member, such as a perovskite solar cell. The solar panel 100 includes a PV cell 150, a back sheet 151 provided on the rear side of the PV cell 150, and a cover sheet 152 provided on the front side of the PV cell 150 so as to cover the PV cell 150. The PV cell 150, the back sheet 151, and the cover sheet 152 are integrated with a sealant 161. The peripheral portion of the solar panel 100 does not include the PV cell 150 and is composed of the back sheet 151, the cover sheet 152, and the sealant 161.
[0056] As shown in Figure 7, the upper frame 21 has an upper frame connecting portion 35 with a connecting piece 34 extending from the indoor end of the upper frame main body portion 31 to the indoor side. The upper frame 21 has an upper frame panel holding portion 101 extending from the indoor end of the upper frame connecting portion 35 to the indoor side. The upper frame connecting portion 35 and the upper frame panel holding portion 101 are connected using screws 94.
[0057] The upper frame panel holding portion 101 comprises a first plate portion 102 connected to the connecting piece 34 and extending horizontally, a first protruding piece 103 extending upward from the indoor side end of the first plate portion 102, a second protruding piece 104 extending vertically approximately parallel to and spaced apart from the indoor side of the first protruding piece 103, an upper plate 105 extending horizontally from the upper end of the second protruding piece 104 toward the indoor side, a third protruding piece 106 extending vertically downward from the indoor side end of the upper plate 105, a second plate portion 107 extending horizontally from the lower end of the third protruding piece 106 toward the indoor side, a fourth protruding piece 108 extending vertically downward from the indoor side end of the second plate portion 107, and a fifth protruding piece 109 extending vertically downward from near the outdoor side end of the second plate portion 107. The upper end of the solar panel 100 is held in a recess 110 surrounded by the upper plate 105, the second protruding piece 104, and the third protruding piece 106. The upper end of the solar panel 100 is fixed by a bolt 111 and a nut 112 that connects the second protruding piece 104 and the third protruding piece 106. The solar panel 100 is suspended and supported in the recess 110 by the bolt 111 and the nut 112. The bolts 111 and the nuts 112 are provided at multiple locations spaced apart in the width direction of the upper frame panel holding portion 101. The solar panel 100 is suspended and supported by the upper frame panel holding portion 101 to prevent bending. The upper end of the fireproof board 153 is held in the area surrounded by the second plate portion 107, the fourth protruding piece 108, and the fifth protruding piece 109.
[0058] The solar panel 100 is supported by a bolt 111 and a nut 112. The bolt 111 is detachable from the upper frame panel holder 101. The nut 112 is fixed to the outdoor side of the second protruding piece 104 of the upper frame panel holder 101. A through-hole through which the bolt 111 is inserted is formed near the upper end of the solar panel 100. The method of supporting the solar panel 100 is not limited to this. For example, instead of providing the nut 112, a structure may be used in which the second protruding piece 104 is threaded and the bolt 111 is fastened and fixed thereto. Alternatively, the solar panel 100 may be supported by being suspended by clamping the upper part of the solar panel 100 with a jig such as an aluminum extrusion and fixing the jig to the upper frame panel holder 101.
[0059] The lower end of the solar panel 100 is positioned at approximately the same height as in Fig. 4. The solar panel 100 is suspended from the upper panel holding portion 101, and the lower end of the solar panel 100 is held in the recess 54 of the lower frame panel holding portion 48. The lower end of the fireproof board 153 is held in the recess 55.
[0060] As shown in Figure 8, the vertical frames 23, 24 have substantially symmetrical shapes for their main components, so the vertical frame 23 on the left side in a front view will be used for explanation. The vertical frame panel holder 64 includes a side panel 66 extending in the indoor / outdoor direction, a seventh protruding piece 67 extending inward in the width direction from the middle of the side panel 66 in the indoor / outdoor direction, an eighth protruding piece 68 extending inward in the width direction at a distance from the indoor side of the seventh protruding piece 67, and a ninth protruding piece 69 extending inward in the width direction from the indoor end of the side panel 66 on the indoor side of the eighth protruding piece 68. The left end (side edge) of the solar panel 100 is held in a recess 70 surrounded by the side panel 66, the seventh protruding piece 67, and the eighth protruding piece 68. The left end (side edge) of the fireproof board 153 is held in a recess 120 surrounded by the side panel 66, the eighth protruding piece 68, and the ninth protruding piece 69.
[0061] The vertical frame 24 has substantially the same structure as the vertical frame 23 , and holds the right end (side end) of the solar panel 100 and the right end (side end) of the fireproof board 153 .
[0062] A method for installing the solar panels 100 will be described in detail with reference to Fig. 8. One solar panel 100 is arranged on one curtain wall 3.
[0063] A pair of protruding pieces 73, 73 that protrude toward the interior of the room are formed at the inner tip of the seventh protruding piece 67 in the width direction. An airtight material 74 is provided between the pair of protruding pieces 73, 73. The airtight material 74 is a rubber member. When the solar panel 100 is held between the seventh protruding piece 67 and the eighth protruding piece 68, the outdoor surface 121 of the solar panel 100 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74. The outdoor surface 121 of the solar panel 100 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74 over substantially the entire length in the height direction. An airtight line is formed by the contact between the solar panel 100 and the airtight material 74.
[0064] The right end (side end) of the solar panel 100 is held between the seventh protruding piece 67 and the eighth protruding piece 68 of the vertical frame 24. The fit between the right end (side end) of the solar panel 100 and the vertical frame 24 is the same as the left end.
[0065] Returning to Figure 7, a pair of protruding pieces 160, 160 protruding toward the interior of the room are formed at the lower end of the second protruding piece 104 of the upper frame panel holding portion 101. An airtight material 74 is provided between the pair of protruding pieces 160, 160. The airtight material 74 is a rubber member. When the solar panel 100 is held between the recesses 110, the outdoor surface 121 of the solar panel 100 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74. The outdoor surface 121 of the solar panel 100 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74 over substantially the entire width direction. An airtight line is formed by the contact between the solar panel 100 and the airtight material 74.
[0066] As in Fig. 4 , the lower end of the solar panel 100 is in surface contact between the outdoor surface 121 of the solar panel 100 and the airtight material 74. The outdoor surface 121 of the solar panel 100 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74 over substantially the entire length in the width direction. An airtight line is formed by the contact between the solar panel 100 and the airtight material 74.
[0067] When the solar panel 100 is attached to the curtain wall 3, an airtight line is formed around the entire periphery of the surface 121 of the solar panel 100.
[0068] A method for maintaining the solar panel 100 will be described.
[0069] First, remove the cover member 90 corresponding to the location where the solar panel 100 to be maintained is located. To remove the cover member 90, partially remove the floor panel 18 in that location. Remove the screws 94 connecting the cover member 90 to the connecting pieces 93, and then remove the cover member 90.
[0070] Next, remove the upper frame panel holding portion 101. To remove the upper frame panel holding portion 101, remove the screw 94 connecting the upper frame panel holding portion 101 to the upper frame connecting portion 35. Once the screw 94 is removed, the upper frame panel holding portion 101 can be removed.
[0071] Next, the solar panel 100 is removed. The upper end of the solar panel 100 is fixed to the upper frame panel holding part 101. By lifting the upper frame panel holding part 101, the solar panel 100 can be lifted together. At this time, the solar panel 100 can be easily lifted because it is a flexible, lightweight sheet. Since the fireproof board 153 is not integrated with the solar panel 100, only the solar panel 100 can be lifted. The solar panel 100 and the fireproof board 153 may be integrated. By removing the bolts 111 attached to the upper frame panel holding part 101, the solar panel 100 can be released from the fixation between the upper frame panel holding part 101 and the upper frame panel holding part 101. It is also possible to remove only the upper frame panel holding part 101 first, and then lift and remove only the solar panel 100.
[0072] Once maintenance of the solar panel 100 is completed, the solar panel 100 is returned to its original position. The solar panel 100 to be returned may be the same as the one that was removed, or it may be a new product. When returning the solar panel 100, the solar panel 100 can be easily returned to its original position within the curtain wall 3 from the living room 7 side by reversing the above-described steps.
[0073] Because the solar panel 100 is arranged as a single panel in the width direction of the curtain wall 3, the power wiring for the solar panel 100 can be simplified and wiring work can be carried out efficiently. Reducing the number of junction boxes for the solar panel 100 saves space for installing the junction boxes and also reduces the labor required for installation and maintenance.
[0074] Fig. 9 shows yet another embodiment of Fig. 8. In Fig. 9, the solar panel 100 is divided into three sections in the width direction, similar to the first embodiment. The installation structure of the flexible sheet-like solar panels 100 (100A, 100B, 100C) has the same structure as Fig. 7 at the upper end, and is substantially the same structure as the first embodiment other than the upper end.
[0075] 9 , the solar panels 100 (100A, 100B, 100C) may be configured so that they can be removed and installed one by one, as in the first embodiment, or so that all three solar panels 100 (100A, 100B, 100C) can be removed and installed at the same time. The flexible sheet-like solar panels 100 (100A, 100B, 100C) are lightweight, so it is easy to remove and install all three at the same time.
[0076] Figures 10 and 11 show further variations of the second embodiment. In Figure 10, the fifth protruding piece 109 is not formed on the upper frame panel holding portion 101. In Figures 10 and 11, the solar panel 100 and the fireproof board 153 are configured as separate bodies, but they may also be formed as a single unit. In Figure 10, no airtight material is provided, but an airtight material 74 may be provided as in Figure 7.

An airtight material 74 is provided between the pair of protruding pieces 165, 165. The airtight material 74 is a rubber member. When the fireproof board 153 is held in the area surrounded by the second plate portion 107, the fourth protruding piece 108, and the fifth protruding piece 109, the exterior surface 166 of the fireproof board 153 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74. The exterior surface 166 of the fireproof board 153 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74 over substantially the entire width. The contact between the fireproof board 153 and the airtight material 74 forms an airtight line.
[0078] As shown in Figure 13, a pair of protruding pieces 73, 73 protruding toward the interior of the room are formed at the inner tip of the eighth protruding piece 68 in the width direction. An airtight material 74 is provided between the pair of protruding pieces 73, 73. The airtight material 74 is a rubber member. When the fire-resistant board 153 is held between the eighth protruding piece 68 and the ninth protruding piece 69, the exterior surface 166 of the fire-resistant board 153 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74. The exterior surface 166 of the fire-resistant board 153 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74 over substantially the entire length in the height direction. An airtight line is formed by the contact between the fire-resistant board 153 and the airtight material 74.
[0079] The right end (side end) of the fire-resistant board 153 is held between the eighth protruding piece 68 and the ninth protruding piece 69 of the vertical frame 24. The fit between the right end (side end) of the fire-resistant board 153 and the vertical frame 24 is the same as the left end.
[0080] The lower end of the fire-resistant board 153 is fitted in substantially the same manner as in Fig. 12. When the fire-resistant board 153 is attached, the exterior surface 166 of the fire-resistant board 153 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74. The exterior surface 166 of the fire-resistant board 153 is in surface contact with the airtight material 74 over substantially the entire width. The contact between the fire-resistant board 153 and the airtight material 74 forms an airtight line.
[0081] 12 and 13, the solar panel 100 is disposed on the outdoor side of the airtight line. In this case, the solar panel 100 may simply be supported by hanging, and the seventh protruding piece 67 of the vertical frame 23 may not be formed. The lower end of the solar panel 100 may be held without touching the lower frame.
[0082] The solar panel installation structure and curtain wall according to the present disclosure are not limited to the configurations of the above-described embodiments, and appropriate modifications and substitutions are possible within the scope of the gist of the present disclosure.
[0083] In this embodiment, the solar panels 13 are provided on the spandrel portion 20, but the structure of the curtain wall 3 may be different.
[0084] In this embodiment, a cover member 90 and an upper frame panel holding portion 36 are provided, but the shape and configuration of the member that holds the upper end of the solar panel 13 and the cover member may be designed as appropriate.
[0085] In this embodiment, an attachment / detachment space 98 is provided within the living room 7, but if the solar panel 13 can be attached and detached from the living room 7 side, it is not necessary to provide the attachment / detachment space 98 vertically above the solar panel 13.
[0086] In this embodiment, an airtight line is formed by providing the airtight material 74 on the frame body 11 facing the surface of the solar panel 13, but the airtight material 74 may be attached in advance to the surface side of the solar panel 13. The airtight line may also be formed between the frame body 11 and the heat-insulating panel 14.
[0087] In this embodiment, an outside air introduction hole 99 is formed in the frame 11 of the curtain wall 3, but the outside air introduction hole 99 may not be necessary if heat countermeasures are taken for the hollow portion of the curtain wall 3.
[0088] In this embodiment, a solar panel installation structure is used on a curtain wall, but a similar structure may also be used on a fixed window for a house, for example.
[0089] Although the structural body 2 of this embodiment is provided with the beams 5, the structural body 2 may not be provided with the beams.
[0090] In this embodiment, the upper end of the solar panel 13 is positioned slightly higher than the upper surface of the floor panel 18, but the position of the upper end of the solar panel 13 may be set arbitrarily.
