Abstract

An optical fiber device (1) is provided with an optical fiber (21), an end cap (20), and a light-transmissive resin (10). The end cap (20) has a first end surface (201) and a second end surface (202) that oppose each other. The first end surface (201) of the end cap (20) is joined to an end surface (211) of the optical fiber (21). The resin (10) has a connection surface (101), and is arranged to cover the second end surface (202) of the end cap (20) with a portion of the connection surface (101).
