Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic resin composition, a molded article using the same, and a method for producing the thermoplastic resin composition. [Background technology]

[0002] Molded articles of thermoplastic resin compositions based on olefin resins, styrene resins, polycarbonate resins, etc. are used for the housings and parts of home appliances and office automation equipment such as copiers and computers. Examples of thermoplastic resins include olefin resins such as polypropylene (abbreviated as PP) and polyethylene (abbreviated as PE); styrene resins such as high impact polystyrene (abbreviated as HIPS) and general purpose polystyrene (abbreviated as GPPS); and acrylonitrile resins such as acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (abbreviated as ABS) and acrylonitrile-styrene (abbreviated as AS). Most of the thermoplastic resins used for the housings and parts of office automation equipment are acrylonitrile resins (e.g. ABS, AS), polycarbonate (abbreviated as PC) resins, polycarbonate / acrylonitrile resins, or flame-retardant resins.

[0003] In order to impart antistatic properties to a resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin, an antistatic agent may be added to the resin composition. For example, Patent Document 1 (JP Patent Publication No. 7-18137) discloses the addition of an antistatic agent that is a sulfonic acid phosphonium salt to a resin composition used for a molded product to which dust or the like may adhere. Patent Document 2 (JP Patent Publication No. 2020-50857) and Patent Document 3 (JP Patent Publication No. 2021-193169) disclose resin compositions containing a donor-acceptor type antistatic agent. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0004] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 7-18137 [Patent Document 2] JP 2020-50857 A [Patent Document 3] JP 2021-193169 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] In order to keep molded articles clean and to easily clean them, development of molded articles with antifouling properties has been promoted. By using a resin composition containing an antistatic agent, it is possible to impart antifouling properties to molded articles that suppress adhesion of dust and the like. In order to sustain the antifouling properties of molded articles, it is required that the molded articles have excellent antistatic properties. However, Patent Documents 1 to 3 do not consider the deterioration of the antistatic properties of molded articles over time, and it is considered that the antifouling properties of molded articles are difficult to sustain.

[0006] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a thermoplastic resin composition that can continuously exhibit excellent antistatic properties. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The thermoplastic resin composition of the present disclosure comprises a thermoplastic resin (A), at least one of an ionic liquid (B) and a donor-acceptor compound (C), cellulose fibers (D), and a compatibilizing resin (E).

[0008] The thermoplastic resin (A) is at least one of an olefin-based resin and a styrene-based resin. The ionic liquid (B) is a phosphonium salt. The cellulose fibers (D) have an average fiber diameter of 3 nm or more and 50 μm or less and an average fiber length of 100 nm or more and 400 μm or less. The compatibilizing resin (E) is a resin different from the thermoplastic resin (A) and serves to make the thermoplastic resin (A) and the cellulose fibers (D) compatible with each other. Effect of the Invention

[0009] According to the thermoplastic resin composition of the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a molded article that continuously exhibits excellent antistatic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0010] Embodiment 1 (Thermoplastic resin composition) The thermoplastic resin composition of the present embodiment (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as "the composition") includes a thermoplastic resin (A), at least one of an ionic liquid (B) and a donor-acceptor compound (C), cellulose fibers (D), and a compatibilizing resin (E). The thermoplastic resin (A) is at least one of an olefin-based resin and a styrene-based resin. The ionic liquid (B) is a phosphonium salt. The cellulose fibers (D) have an average fiber diameter of 3 nm or more and 50 μm or less and an average fiber length of 100 nm or more and 400 μm or less. The compatibilizing resin (E) is a resin different from the thermoplastic resin (A) and is a resin for compatibilizing the thermoplastic resin (A) and the cellulose fibers (D).

[0011] The ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) can impart antistatic properties to molded articles formed using this composition. The ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) can impart excellent antistatic properties to molded articles even at small contents. Therefore, the addition of the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) can suppress the deterioration of the physical properties of the thermoplastic resin (A).

[0012] Since the molded article has antistatic properties, adhesion of dust to the molded article can be suppressed, and the molded article can also have excellent antifouling properties. A molded article formed using the present composition is resistant to adhesion of hydrophilic dust such as sand and dirt, and hydrophobic dust such as oily smoke.

[0013] If the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) disappear from the molded article, the antistatic properties of the molded article will decrease, as will the antifouling properties. If the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) present near the surface of the molded article disappear due to cleaning such as wiping the molded article or due to changes over time, the antistatic properties of the molded article may decrease. Since this composition contains cellulose fibers (D), it is possible to provide a molded article that can continuously exhibit excellent antistatic properties by suppressing the disappearance of the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) from the molded article.

[0014] The reason for this is presumed to be as follows. The ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) have anionic and cationic components. The cellulose fiber (D) is hydrophilic due to the bonding of hydroxyl groups in the cellulose skeleton. The hydrophilic cellulose fiber (D) has excellent affinity with the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C), and the two are easily bonded by electrostatic attraction. It is considered that the thermoplastic resin (A) and the cellulose fiber (D) are in a well-mixed state due to the presence of the compatibilizing resin (E). Since the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) are bonded to the cellulose fiber (D) in such a state, it is considered that the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) tend to remain in the molded product. In addition, the cellulose fiber (D) in the molded product acts as a barrier, and it is considered that it also suppresses the leakage of the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) from the surface of the molded product. For these reasons, it is presumed that molded articles formed using this composition are less likely to lose the ionic liquid (B) and donor-acceptor compound (C) when their surfaces are cleaned by wiping or when they change over time, and that the articles will be able to sustain excellent antistatic and antifouling properties.

[0015] Since the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) have low molecular weights, their presence near the surface of a molded article or their bleeding onto the surface of the molded article can improve the antistatic and antifouling properties of the molded article. Even in such cases, by using this composition, it is expected that the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) will not easily disappear, and molded articles that can continuously exhibit excellent antistatic and antifouling properties can be obtained.

[0016] This composition can be used to form a molded article, which will be described later. This composition preferably contains an olefin-based resin or a styrene-based resin as the thermoplastic resin (A). This composition may contain at least one of the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C), and may contain both the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C). This composition may contain other components in addition to the above-mentioned components. Specific examples of the composition will be described later.

[0017] When a flat piece having a size of 100 mm length × 100 mm width × 2 mm thickness is formed using this composition, the surface resistivity of the flat piece at a temperature of 23° C. and a relative humidity of 50% is preferably 1.0×10 12 Ω / sq or less, more preferably 1.0×10 11 Ω / sq or less, 5.0×10 10 The surface resistivity of the flat plate is usually 1.0×10 7 Ω / sq or more. The surface resistivity of the flat piece referred to here is the initial surface resistivity before the flat piece is subjected to the accelerated test described later. When the initial surface resistivity of the flat piece is within the above range, the molded article obtained using the present composition can have excellent antifouling properties because the adhesion of dust is suppressed. The initial surface resistivity can be adjusted, for example, by the type and content of the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) contained in the present composition. The above flat piece can be prepared by the method described in the Examples described later. The initial surface resistivity can be measured by the method described in the Examples described later.

[0018] After the accelerated test, the surface resistivity of the flat plate at a temperature of 23° C. and a relative humidity of 50% is preferably 1.0×10 12 Ω / sq or less, more preferably 5.0×10 11 Ω / sq or less, 1.0×10 11 The surface resistivity of the flat plate after the accelerated test is usually 1.0×10 8Ω / sq or more. Since the surface resistivity of the flat plate after the accelerated test is within the above range, the molded article obtained using the composition can continuously suppress the adhesion of dust and continuously exhibit excellent antifouling properties. The surface resistivity after the accelerated test can be adjusted, for example, by the type and content of the ionic liquid (B) and donor-acceptor compound (C) contained in the composition, and the type and content of the cellulose fiber (D). The surface resistivity after the accelerated test can be measured by the method described in the Examples described later. The accelerated test is a test that assumes an actual use environment, and can be performed by the method described in the Examples described later.

[0019] Each component contained in the composition will be described in detail below. (Thermoplastic resin (A)) The thermoplastic resin (A) is the base resin of the present composition. The thermoplastic resin (A) is at least one of an olefin-based resin and a styrene-based resin, and is preferably an olefin-based resin or a styrene-based resin. The thermoplastic resin (A) may be a thermoplastic resin recovered and recycled from molded products such as housings or parts of used home appliances and office automation equipment such as copiers and computers.

[0020] An olefin resin is a resin having an olefin unit as a repeating structural unit. An olefin resin is a resin composed only of carbon (C) and hydrogen (H) and containing more than 50 mol% to 100 mol% of olefin units in total relative to all structural units constituting the molecular chain. An olefin unit is a structural unit of a polymer obtained by polymerizing an olefin monomer. The thermoplastic resin (A) may contain one or more types of olefin resins.

[0021] Examples of the olefin resin include at least one selected from the group consisting of polyethylene resins such as homopolyethylene and ethylene-α-olefin copolymers (excluding those containing propylene units as a repeating unit); and polypropylene resins such as homopolypropylene, propylene-ethylene block copolymers, propylene-butene block copolymers, propylene-α-olefin block copolymers, propylene-ethylene random copolymers, propylene-butene random copolymers, propylene-α-olefin random copolymers, and propylene-α-olefin graft copolymers. The olefin resin is preferably a polypropylene resin.

[0022] The styrene resin is a resin having a styrene unit as a repeating structural unit. The styrene resin refers to a resin containing more than 50 mol% and not more than 100 mol% of styrene units in total relative to all structural units constituting the molecular chain. The styrene unit refers to a structural unit of a polymer obtained by polymerizing a styrene monomer having a skeleton in which one of the hydrogen atoms of the benzene ring is substituted with a vinyl group. In the styrene monomer, among the hydrogen atoms of the benzene ring, the hydrogen atoms other than the hydrogen atom substituted with the vinyl group may be substituted with a functional group. The thermoplastic resin (A) may contain one or more types of styrene resins.

[0023] Examples of styrene-based resins include at least one selected from the group consisting of polymers obtained by polymerizing monovinyl aromatic monomers such as styrene, α-methylstyrene, p-methylstyrene, and p-tert-butylstyrene; rubber-modified styrene-based polymers produced by dissolving rubber-like substances such as polybutadiene (PBD) and styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBR) in styrene-based monomers and subjecting them to bulk polymerization or bulk suspension polymerization; and polymers obtained by polymerizing vinyl cyanide monomers such as acrylonitrile.

[0024] Examples of polymers obtained by polymerizing monovinyl aromatic monomers include polystyrene (GPPS). Examples of rubber-modified styrene polymers include at least one of high impact polystyrene (HIPS) and medium impact polystyrene (MIPS). Examples of polymers obtained by polymerizing vinyl cyanide monomers include acrylonitrile-styrene resin (AS resin) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS resin) obtained by polymerizing acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene.

[0025] The content of the thermoplastic resin (A) may be, for example, 30% by weight or more and 95% by weight or less, 40% by weight or more and 90% by weight or less, 50% by weight or more and 85% by weight or less, or 60% by weight or more and 80% by weight or less, based on the total amount of the composition. When the thermoplastic resin (A) contains two or more kinds of thermoplastic resins, the content of the thermoplastic resin (A) refers to the total amount thereof.

[0026] (Ionic Liquid (B)) The ionic liquid (B) is a phosphonium salt, and can impart antistatic and antifouling properties to a molded article formed using the composition. When the composition contains a donor-acceptor compound (C), the composition may or may not contain an ionic liquid (B). The composition may contain one or more ionic liquids (B).

[0027] Examples of the ionic liquid (B) include one or more selected from the group consisting of tributyldodecylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, trihexyltetradecylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, triethylpentylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, triethyloctylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, tri-n-butylmethylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, tributyldodecylphosphonium bromide, tetrabutylphosphonium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, and tetrabutylphosphonium tetraphenylborate. The ionic liquid (B) is preferably one or more selected from the group consisting of tributyldodecylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, tributyldodecylphosphonium bromide, and tetrabutylphosphonium dodecylbenzenesulfonate. The present composition containing these compounds can impart excellent antistatic properties and antifouling properties to molded articles.

[0028] As the tributyldodecylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, a compound manufactured by Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd. and "IL-AP3" manufactured by Koei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. can be used. As the tributyldodecylphosphonium bromide, a compound manufactured by Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd. can be used. As the tetrabutylphosphonium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, "Elecut S-418" manufactured by Takemoto Oil Co., Ltd. can be used.

[0029] The content of the ionic liquid (B) in the composition is, for example, 0.5 parts by weight or more and 5.0 parts by weight or less, preferably 0.5 parts by weight or more and 4.0 parts by weight or less, more preferably 0.5 parts by weight or more and 3.0 parts by weight or less, relative to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin (A). If the content of the ionic liquid (B) exceeds 5.0 parts by weight, the thermal stability in a high-temperature environment is significantly reduced, the molded product tends to easily yellow, and the mechanical properties of the molded product may be significantly reduced. If the content of the ionic liquid (B) is less than 0.5 parts by weight, dust tends to adhere to the molded product, and the stain resistance of the molded product tends to decrease. When the composition contains two or more types of ionic liquid (B), the content of the ionic liquid (B) refers to the total amount.

[0030] (Donor-acceptor compounds (C)) The donor-acceptor compound (C) refers to a compound having both an electron-donating group and an electron-withdrawing group. The donor-acceptor compound (C) can impart antistatic properties and antifouling properties to a molded article formed using the present composition. When the present composition contains an ionic liquid (B), the present composition may or may not contain a donor-acceptor compound (C). The present composition may contain one or more donor-acceptor compounds (C).

[0031] The donor-acceptor compound (C) is not particularly limited as long as it has an electron-donating group and an electron-withdrawing group, but is preferably a compound represented by formula (1) (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as "compound (1)"). [ka]

[0032] As the compound (1), “Biomicelle BN-105” (chemical formula: C 42 H 81 O8B·C 23 H 48As the donor-acceptor compound (C), "Biomicelle BN-77" (chemical formula: C) manufactured by Boron Laboratory Co., Ltd., which has a structure similar to that of compound (1), can be used. 42 H 81 O8B·C 23 H 48 The present composition containing these compounds can impart excellent antistatic properties and antifouling properties to molded articles.

[0033] The content of the donor-acceptor compound (C) in the composition is, for example, 0.5 parts by weight or more and 5.0 parts by weight or less, preferably 0.5 parts by weight or more and 4.0 parts by weight or less, more preferably 0.5 parts by weight or more and 3.0 parts by weight or less, based on 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin (A). If the content of the donor-acceptor compound (C) exceeds 5.0 parts by weight, the mechanical properties of the molded article may be significantly reduced. If the content of the donor-acceptor compound (C) is less than 0.5 parts by weight, dust tends to adhere to the molded article, and the antifouling properties of the molded article tend to decrease. When the composition contains two or more kinds of donor-acceptor compounds (C), the content of the donor-acceptor compounds (C) refers to the total amount.

[0034] (Cellulose fiber (D)) The cellulose fibers (D) have an average fiber diameter of 3 nm or more and 50 μm or less and an average fiber length of 100 nm or more and 400 μm or less. It is believed that the inclusion of the cellulose fibers (D) in the composition makes it difficult for the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C) to disappear when the molded article is cleaned by wiping or the like, or when the molded article changes over time, making it easier to maintain the excellent antistatic and antifouling properties of the molded article.

[0035] The cellulose fibers (D) may include at least one of nanofibers and microfibers. The cellulose fibers (D) may include nanofibers, microfibers, or both. The nanofibers have an average fiber diameter of 3 nm to 200 nm and an average fiber length of 100 nm to 1000 nm. The nanofibers may be microfibers (cellulose microfibrils) consisting of several tens of cellulose molecules bundled together. The microfibers have an average fiber diameter of 1 μm to 50 μm and an average fiber length of 10 μm to 400 μm.

[0036] The average fiber diameter and average fiber length of the cellulose fibers (D) can be measured by the method described in the Examples below. When the nanofibers are microfibers, the average fiber diameter of the microfibers refers to the width (diameter) of a bundle of cellulose molecules.

[0037] The cellulose fiber (D) may have hydroxyl groups on the surface. The crystal form, degree of crystallization, degree of polymerization, etc. of the cellulose fiber (D) are not particularly limited.

[0038] The cellulose fibers (D) can be obtained by defibrating raw materials such as pulp, etc. The defibrating process can be performed by mechanical or chemical methods.

[0039] In the mechanical fiber defibration method, nanofibers and microfibers can be obtained by preparing an aqueous suspension or slurry of raw materials such as pulp, and mechanically grinding the suspension or slurry using a refiner, a high-pressure homogenizer, a disk mill (grinder), a kneader (extruder), a ball mill, a bead mill, or the like. Alternatively, the following methods may be used: a freeze-grinding method in which the aqueous suspension or slurry of the raw materials is frozen and defibrated using a ball mill or the like; an underwater head-on collision method in which the suspension of the raw materials is pressurized and collided at high speed with each other to defibrate the raw materials by the collision force, pressure difference, and microcavitation; and a water jet method in which the suspension of the raw materials is pressurized up to 245 MPa and sprayed to create a water jet of Mach 2, and the water jets are collided obliquely with each other to defibrate the raw materials. When obtaining nanofibers, which are microfibers, it is preferable to perform a mechanical fiber defibration process after performing a purification process, which is a chemical pretreatment, on the raw materials, from the viewpoint of suppressing damage to the fibers.

[0040] Chemical defibration methods include the phosphate esterification method, in which phosphate groups are introduced to the hydroxyl groups at the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th positions of cellulose molecules to obtain a highly dispersed liquid due to molecular chain repulsion; and the TEMPO catalytic oxidation method, in which TEMPO (2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxy radical) is used as a catalyst to selectively introduce a carboxyl group to the hydroxyl group at the 6th position in the amorphous region of the cellulose molecule to obtain a highly dispersed liquid due to molecular chain repulsion.

[0041] Alternatively, raw materials such as undried pulp may be chemically treated to make them compatible with the thermoplastic resin (A) by acetylating, silanizing, or urethane-forming the hydroxyl group at the 6-position of the cellulose molecule with an isocyanate, and the raw materials may be defibrated by kneading them with the thermoplastic resin (A) in an extruder.

[0042] Examples of cellulose fibers (D) that can be used include "Nanoforest" manufactured by Chuetsu Pulp Industries Co., Ltd., "CellFim P" manufactured by Mori Machinery Corporation, "GS CNF" manufactured by GS Alliance Co., Ltd., and "ARBOCEL" manufactured by Rettenmeyer Japan Co., Ltd.

[0043] The content of the cellulose fiber (D) in the composition is, for example, 1.0 to 50 parts by weight, preferably 1.0 to 40 parts by weight, and more preferably 1.0 to 30 parts by weight, relative to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin (A). When the content of the cellulose fiber (D) is within the above range, the molded product is easily prevented from having dust adhere thereto for a long period of time, and is easily able to exhibit excellent antifouling properties for a long period of time. When the composition contains two or more types of cellulose fiber (D), the content of the cellulose fiber (D) refers to the total amount.

[0044] (Compatibilizing resin (E)) The compatibilizing resin (E) is a resin different from the thermoplastic resin (A) and is used to make the thermoplastic resin (A) and the cellulose fibers (D) compatible. Different resins refer to resins having different compositions of constituent units. Compatibilizing refers to a state in which phase separation between the thermoplastic resin (A) and the cellulose fibers (D) in a molded article formed using the present composition is suppressed more than phase separation between the thermoplastic resin (A) and the cellulose fibers (D) in a molded article formed using a composition that is the same as the present composition except that it does not contain the compatibilizing resin (E). The compatibilizing resin (E) preferably contains an oxygen atom (O) that is compatible with the hydroxyl group (-OH) of the cellulose fibers (D).

[0045] By including the compatibilizing resin (E) in the present composition, in a molded article obtained using the present composition, phase separation between the thermoplastic resin (A) and the cellulose fiber (D) is suppressed, and they tend to be homogeneously mixed together, thereby preventing a significant decrease in the mechanical properties of the molded article.

[0046] The composition may contain one or more compatibilizing resins (E). The compatibilizing resin (E) may be selected depending on the type of thermoplastic resin (A). For example, when the thermoplastic resin (A) contains an olefin-based resin, it is preferable to use an olefin-based compatibilizing resin, and when the thermoplastic resin (A) contains a styrene-based resin, it is preferable to use a styrene-based compatibilizing resin.

[0047] The olefin-based compatibilizing resin is preferably a resin containing at least one of a carboxy group (-CO) and a hydroxyl group (-OH). Examples of the olefin-based compatibilizing resin include at least one selected from the group consisting of an acid-modified olefin-based resin obtained by modifying an olefin-based resin with an unsaturated carboxylic acid such as maleic anhydride, an ethylene vinyl acetate resin, a vinyl acetate resin, and a polyvinyl alcohol resin.

[0048] The acid-modified olefin resin may be a polymer containing an olefin unit and an unsaturated carboxylic acid unit as a constituent unit. The unsaturated carboxylic acid may be maleic acid (anhydride), itaconic acid (anhydride), fumaric acid, crotonic acid, etc., and preferably maleic acid (anhydride). Maleic acid (anhydride) refers to maleic acid or maleic anhydride, and itaconic acid (anhydride) refers to itaconic acid or itaconic anhydride.

[0049] The olefin-based compatibilizing resin is preferably an acid-modified olefin-based resin, more preferably a maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene resin. The maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene resin is preferably at least one of a maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene resin and a maleic anhydride-modified ethylene-propylene resin. As the maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene resin, BYK-Chemie Japan Co., Ltd.'s "SCONA TSPP 10213", BYK-Chemie Japan Co., Ltd.'s "SCONA TPPP 9212", and Sanyo Chemical Industries Co., Ltd.'s "UMEX 1010" can be used.

[0050] When the thermoplastic resin (A) is a polypropylene-based resin, the compatibilizing resin (E) is preferably an olefin-based compatibilizing resin, more preferably a maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene resin.

[0051] Examples of styrene-based compatibilizing resins include at least one of styrene-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPE-S) and methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene copolymers (MBS resins) obtained by polymerizing methyl methacrylate, butadiene, and styrene. Styrenic thermoplastic elastomers have a structure in which a "hard segment" for imparting strength is bonded to a "soft segment" having rubber elasticity. Styrenic thermoplastic elastomers include SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) resin and SIS (styrene-isoprene-styrene) resin, as well as SEBS (styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene) resin and SEPS (styrene-ethylene-propylene-styrene) resin, which are hydrogenated from these. The above-mentioned styrene-based thermoplastic elastomers have a polystyrene (PS) structure as the hard segment and a different structure for the soft segment.

[0052] Examples of styrene-based compatibilizing resins that can be used include "TR2003" manufactured by JSR Corporation, "Asaprene T-438" manufactured by Asahi Kasei Corporation, "Labalon A1801N-K" manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, and "Metablen C323A" manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation.

[0053] When the thermoplastic resin (A) is a styrene-based resin, the compatibilizing resin (E) is preferably a styrene-based compatibilizing resin, more preferably a styrene-based elastomer.

[0054] The content of the compatibilizing resin (E) in the present composition is, for example, 0.5 parts by weight or more and 20 parts by weight or less, preferably 1.0 parts by weight or more and 15 parts by weight or less, more preferably 1.0 parts by weight or more and 10 parts by weight or less, relative to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin (A). If the content of the compatibilizing resin (E) exceeds 20 parts by weight, the mechanical properties of the molded product may be significantly reduced. If the content of the compatibilizing resin (E) is less than 0.5 parts by weight, the compatibility between the thermoplastic resin (A) and the cellulose fiber (D) may be reduced, and the mechanical properties of the molded product may be significantly reduced. When the present composition contains two or more types of compatibilizing resins (E), the content of the compatibilizing resins (E) refers to the total amount.

[0055] (Other ingredients) The composition may contain other components in addition to the above-mentioned components. The other components may include inorganic fillers, thermoplastic resins other than the thermoplastic resin (A) and the compatibilizing resin (E), heat stabilizers, ultraviolet absorbers, light stabilizers, antistatic agents other than the ionic liquid (B) and the donor-acceptor compound (C), plasticizers, release agents, flame retardants, flame retardant assistants, dyes, pigments, etc. The content of other components in the composition may be appropriately adjusted so as to obtain the desired physical properties.

[0056] Examples of inorganic fillers include one or more selected from the group consisting of talc, mica, wollastonite, calcium carbonate, barium sulfate, magnesium carbonate, clay, alumina, silica, calcium sulfate, carbon fiber, glass fiber, metal fiber, silica sand, silica stone, carbon black, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, antimony trioxide, magnesium hydroxide, asbestos, zeolite, molybdenum, diatomaceous earth, sericite, shirasu, calcium hydroxide, calcium sulfite, sodium sulfate, bentonite, kaolinite, and graphite.

[0100] The materials used in the examples and comparative examples, and the flat pieces of the resin compositions obtained in the examples and comparative examples were evaluated according to the following procedures.

[0101] [Measurement of average fiber diameter and average fiber length of cellulose fibers (D)] The flat plate pieces (100 mm long x 100 mm wide x 2 mm thick) prepared in the examples and comparative examples were divided into two or four equal pieces. The divided pieces were freeze-fractured in liquid nitrogen to prepare fracture surfaces. Platinum was vapor-deposited on the fracture surfaces to obtain evaluation test pieces. The vapor-deposited surface of the evaluation test piece was observed using a scanning electron microscope, and the fiber diameters and fiber lengths of 50 or more cellulose fibers within the field of view were measured, and the averages were calculated to obtain the average fiber diameter and average fiber length.

[0102] [Accelerated testing] An accelerated test was conducted on a flat piece, simulating an actual usage environment. The accelerated test was conducted in accordance with JIS K7368:1999. In this JIS standard, the recommended test temperature for estimating the relationship between life and temperature is set at 100 to 150°C, so in this test, the test temperature was set at 100°C and the test time was set at 800 hours.

[0103] [Measurement of surface resistivity] Using a resistivity meter ("Hiresta UP MCP-HT450" manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical Analytech Co., Ltd.), the surface resistivity of the flat plate was measured before (initial) and after the accelerated test under the test conditions shown below. The smaller the surface resistivity value, the better the antistatic properties. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 4. (Test conditions) Voltage: 1000V Time: 60 seconds Temperature: 23℃ Relative humidity: 50%

[0104] [Evaluation of dust adhesion] In the dust adhesion evaluation, powders conforming to JIS Z8901:2006 "Test powders and test particles" were used. Kanto loam (JIS test powder type 11) was used as hydrophilic dust, and carbon black (JIS test powder type 12) was used as hydrophobic dust.

[0105] Using hydrophilic and hydrophobic dust, the dust adhesion of each plate piece before (initial) and after the accelerated test was evaluated according to the following procedure. After 5 g of dust was sprayed onto the surface (one side) of the plate piece, the surface of the plate piece was observed at 100x magnification using a digital microscope (Keyence Corporation's "VHX-5000"), and the dust adhesion rate (area ratio to which dust adhered) was determined by image processing, and evaluated according to the following evaluation criteria (1) and (2). The results are shown in Tables 1 to 4.

[0106] (Evaluation Criteria (1)) A: The dust adhesion rate on the surface of the flat plate is less than 4%. B: The dust adhesion rate on the surface of the flat plate is 4% or more.

[0107] (Evaluation Criteria (2)) A: The dust adhesion rate of hydrophilic and hydrophobic dust on the surface of the plate specimen at the initial stage and after the accelerated test is both less than 5%. B: The dust adhesion rate of hydrophilic and hydrophobic dust on the surface of the flat plate specimen at the initial stage and after the accelerated test is 5% or more.

[0108] [Table 1]

[0109] [Table 2]

[0110] [Table 3]

[0111] [Table 4]

[0112] It is seen that the molded articles obtained in Examples 1 to 13 can continuously exhibit excellent antistatic properties and antifouling properties. It is seen that the molded articles obtained in Comparative Examples 1, 2, 4, and 5 are formed using compositions that do not contain cellulose fibers (D), and therefore the surface resistivity increases after the accelerated test, and the evaluation of dust adhesion deteriorates. It is seen that the molded article obtained in Comparative Example 3 contains cellulose fibers (D) but does not contain ionic liquid (B) and donor-acceptor compound (C), and therefore has a large surface resistivity and poor antistatic properties.

[0113] The embodiments and examples disclosed herein should be considered to be illustrative and not restrictive in all respects. The scope of the present disclosure is defined by the claims, not the above description, and is intended to include all modifications within the meaning and scope of the claims.
