Air intake system in internal combustion engine

Abstract

The present disclosure is directed to providing, in an internal combustion engine equipped, in an intake duct, with an intake flow control valve and, on the downstream side thereof, an intake flux control valve, a novel configuration whereby the intake flux control valve can be operated independently of the driving of the intake flow control valve, and lost motion that operates with a delay from the start of an accelerator operation is enabled with the intake flux control valve. An intake duct 26 in an internal combustion engine 15 involving one embodiment is provided with a drive member 52 connected to, so as to mechanically interoperate with, a drive cable 45, independently of an intake flow control valve 35, and is provided with a drive mechanism D that has a first operation region of the drive component 52 where an intake flux control valve 40 is not actuated, and a second operation region of the drive component 52 where the intake flux control valve 40 is actuated.
