Abstract

Provided is a way to suppress reductions in the output characteristics and producibility of a lithium secondary battery. The present invention provides a lithium secondary battery. A lithium secondary battery according to the present invention includes (a) a first laminate that comprises a first end part, (b) an intermediate laminate, (c) a second laminate that comprises a second end part, (d) a metal sheet that includes a first portion that overlaps the first end part and the second end part as seen from the layering direction and a second portion that does not overlap the first end part and the second end part as seen from the layering direction, and (e) an electrode tab that is electrically connected to the first laminate and the second laminate. The electrode tab has a first junction mark and a second junction mark. The first junction mark is from the joining of the electrode tab and the first end part, the first portion of the metal sheet, and the second end part. The second junction mark is from the joining of the electrode tab and the second portion of the metal sheet.
