Abstract

This suction-attachment pad, which suction-attaches an object and which is connected to a vacuum generator, comprises: a pad main body which includes a skirt portion that comes into contact with the object and that has an inclined surface, and a plurality of ribs that are formed at least in the radial direction inside the skirt portion; and a retaining portion which is disposed so as to cover the inclined surface of the skirt portion. When suction-attaching the object, the retaining portion comes into contact with the inclined surface further outward than an end portion, on the pad main body center side, of at least one of the plurality of ribs.
