Abstract

Provided is a multilayer ceramic capacitor in which a dense ceramic layer is formed while ensuring sinterability, and which comprises high moisture resistance reliability.　The present invention specifically provides a multilayer ceramic capacitor 1 wherein, in a cross section that extends in the multilayer (T) direction and the width (W) direction of a multilayer body 10, the content of calcium silicate is higher in outer side margin parts 41o, 42o than in inner side margin parts 41i, 42i, and is higher in outer outside layer parts 31o, 32o than in inner outside layer parts 31i, 32i, while the content of a Ca-Mn-Si-based oxide is higher in the inner side margin parts 41i, 42i than in the outer side margin parts 41o, 42o, and is higher in the inner outside layer parts 31i, 32i than in the outer outside layer parts 32i, 32o.
