Reusable menstrual undergarment

Abstract

A reusable menstrual undergarment comprises a breathable garment body incorporating body-responsive tailoring, an absorbent assembly positioned within a central gusset region, and asuspension loop for suspending the garment adjacent a bathing area. The garment may be formed from a breathable cotton-blend fabric for everyday use or from a cotton terry cloth fabric for post- bath use, wherein the terry cloth fabric absorbs moisture from the user's skin while the absorbent assembly captures menstrual discharge. The undergarment may further be provided in everyday, active-use, lightweight liner, and post-bath transitional configurations. The reusable construction enables repeated laundering while maintaining menstrual protection, thereby providing an environmentally sustainable alternative to disposable menstrual hygiene products.
