Abstract

A Remote GPS-Enabled Locking Fuel Cap System for securing fuel tanks across automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, and generators. The Device integrates nanoelectromechanical hardened-steel locking bolt and spring actuator, operated via three independent channels: an AES-128 encrypted radio-frequency key fob, a companion mobile application (iOS / Android) operating over Bluetooth Low Energy and cellular relay, and onboard GPS geofencing logic enabling location-based automatic lock / unlock rules. When locked the cap sits flush with the fuel tank neck; upon receiving an authenticated unlock signal the spring actuator retracts the bolt and the pop-up lid rises. The cap body features a slip-free, anti-torque exterior surface resistant to forced removal. An onboard tamper detection subsystem triggers audible alerts and mobile push notifications upon detecting unauthorized manipulation. The electronics module and rechargeable lithium-ion battery are housed within the sealed pop-up section. Universal adapter rings enable fitment across standard fuel neck diameters. The invention provides a proactive, multi-channel, self-contained fuel security solution requiring no vehicle wiring modification
