IMMUNOGENIC FORMULATION CONTAINING BCG EXPRESSING A RESPIRATORY SYNCITIAL VIRUS PROTEIN AGAINST RESPIRATORY VIRUS RSV AND / OR hMPV

Abstract

The invention relates to an immunogenic formulation that confers protection against respiratory viruses which comprises an attenuated recombinant strain of Bacillus Calmette and Guerin (BCG), in a concentration of between 104-109 bacteria, which expresses at least one immunogenic protein or fragment of the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) with at least 80% identity to one of the RSV A or RSV B sequences. And to the use of this immunogenic formulation to prepare a vaccine usefull to prevent, treat, or attenuate infections of respiratory viruses, especially hRSV and / or hMPV.
