Abstract

The present invention aims to provide a process equipment information model generation system and a process equipment information model generation method for efficiently managing various manufacturing equipment and collecting data. To achieve the above objective, the system for generating an information model of process equipment according to the present invention comprises: a storage unit that classifies the process equipment according to a pre-set function to establish a plurality of process equipment function groups, and stores the information model for each of the process equipment function groups by providing the same information model to the process equipment belonging to the same process equipment function group; an editing unit that edits the variables and methods of the information model according to user input; and a conversion unit that automatically converts the edited information model into an OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture) nodeset file, wherein the information model includes a node, an attribute, a reference, and an address space.
