Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a liquid cartridge device for a microparticle generating device. Background Technology

[0002] The content described in this section merely provides background information regarding the present disclosure and does not constitute prior art.

[0003] Recently, there has been an increasing demand for alternative methods to overcome the disadvantages of conventional cigarettes. For example, there is an increasing demand for methods that generate aerosols by heating a liquid composition containing an aerosol-generating substance within a liquid cartridge device, rather than by burning a cigarette to generate aerosols. Recently, electronic cigarettes, which heat a liquid composition to atomize it and then inhale the atomized vapor, are being actively used.

[0004] A conventional liquid cartridge device includes a terminal at the bottom of the liquid cartridge device to heat a liquid composition by supplying power. The conventional liquid cartridge device joins a structure including the terminal and a structure including a heating member for heating the liquid composition by press-fitting. Through the press-fitting of multiple structures, the heating member is electrically connected to the terminal by making physical contact in a line contact manner, which is a two-dimensional structure. However, this contact method has a problem in that the physical contact force between the terminal and the heating member decreases due to a decrease in press-fit force between multiple structures over time or due to external impact. The decrease in the physical contact force between the terminal and the heating member can cause a change in the electrical resistance applied to the heating member. As a result, there is a problem of reduced efficiency due to increased battery consumption of the microparticle generator.

[0005] In addition, there is a problem that changes in the electrical resistance applied to the heating element affect the flavor of the tobacco, and the amount of vapor is reduced as the amount of heating decreases, thereby lowering the user's smoking satisfaction. The problem to be solved

[0006] The liquid cartridge device of the present disclosure can increase productivity by preventing entanglement between multiple heating members during production by including a plurality of contact portions including curves and / or curved surfaces at both ends of the heating member.

[0007] The liquid cartridge device of the present disclosure can implement a stable electrical connection structure by firmly connecting a plurality of contact portions and a plurality of terminal portions.

[0008] The liquid cartridge device of the present disclosure can maintain a constant level of user satisfaction with smoking by preventing changes in electrical resistance through the implementation of a stable electrical connection structure between a plurality of contact parts and a plurality of terminal parts.

[0009] The problems that the present invention aims to solve are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned problems will be clearly understood by a person skilled in the art from the description below. means of solving the problem

The second contact surface (143) may be formed on the other side of the second surface in the transverse direction.

[0061] Referring to FIG. 3, a liquid cartridge device (1) for a microparticle generating device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may be configured such that one of a plurality of contact portions (121) is connected to a first contact surface (142) of one of a plurality of terminal portions (140). Another of the plurality of contact portions (121) may be configured to be connected to a second contact surface (143) of another of the plurality of terminal portions (140). By doing so, a heating member (120) may be electrically connected to a terminal portion (140) having a different polarity.

[0062] The extension portion (144) may be formed in a shape that extends toward the opposite longitudinal direction where each of the plurality of terminal portions (140) faces each other. The outer case (150) may be composed of materials such as Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), Polyphthalamide (PPA), Polycyclohexylenedimethylene Terephthalate (PCT), Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK), Polycarbonate (PC), and Polystyrene (HIPS). However, it is not necessarily limited thereto. The outer case (150) may be composed separately from the inner case (130), but is not necessarily limited thereto and may be formed integrally while maintaining their respective functions. The method of forming integrally may be injection molding, etc.

[0064] The outer case (150) may include a plurality of coupling protrusions (152) on the side coupled to the storage portion (10). Each of the plurality of coupling protrusions (152) may be configured to be fitted and coupled with each of the plurality of coupling grooves (11) formed in the storage portion (10).

[0065] The outer case (150) may include a second guide portion (153) formed to communicate with a first guide portion (133) formed in the inner case (130). The aerosol generated in the generation space (170) may be guided toward the aerosol generating device via the first guide portion (133) and the second guide portion (153).

[0066] The outer case (150) may include a plurality of through holes (151) configured to allow at least a portion of each of the plurality of terminal portions (140) to pass through. More specifically, each of the plurality of through holes (151) may be configured to allow an external connection portion (141) formed in each of the plurality of contact portions (121) to pass through.

[0067] The inner case (130) and the outer case (150) may each be composed of separate parts, but are not necessarily limited thereto and may be formed as a single unit while maintaining their respective functions. The method of forming as a single unit may be injection molding, etc.

[0068] The joint member (160) may be configured to physically, chemically, and electrically connect each of the plurality of contact portions (121) and each of the plurality of terminal portions (140). Referring to FIG. 4, the joint member (160) may be configured to cover at least a portion of each of the plurality of contact portions (121) arranged to correspond to the first contact surface (142) and the second contact surface (143), respectively. That is, the joint member (160) may cover each of the plurality of contact portions (121) of the heating member (120) and the first contact surface (142) and the second contact surface (143) of the plurality of terminal portions (140) corresponding to each of the plurality of contact portions (121), or cover a portion of them in the form of a fillet. By doing so, a stable mechanical and electrical coupling structure can be realized.

[0069] The joint member (160) may be composed of materials such as silver epoxy, conductive paste, and tin-silver-copper alloy (SAC soler). However, it is not necessarily limited thereto. Before undergoing the curing process, the joint member (160) may be in a fluid gel or paste state. The joint member (160) can firmly bond the first contact surface (142) and the second contact surface (143) of the plurality of terminal parts (140) and each of the plurality of contact parts (121) of the heating member (120) through the curing process. The curing process may be performed using a chamber oven or a reflow oven, etc. However, it is not necessarily limited thereto.

[0070] Conventional liquid cartridge devices are configured such that both ends of a heating element are formed in an L-shaped bent form including a straight section, thereby making simple line contact with a terminal. Consequently, in conventional liquid cartridge devices, only a portion of the outer circumference of the straight section at both ends of the heating element makes line contact with the terminal. Conventional liquid cartridge devices join a structure including a terminal and a structure including a heating element for heating a liquid composition by press-fitting. This contact method has a problem in that the physical contact force between the terminal and the heating element decreases due to a reduction in press-fit force caused by spring back between multiple structures over time or due to external impact. A decrease in physical contact force can cause a change in the electrical resistance applied to the heating element. Such a change in electrical resistance causes a change in the heating temperature of the heating element or increases the battery consumption of the aerosol generator, thereby causing a problem of reduced efficiency.

[0071] A liquid cartridge device (1) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure can be configured such that at least a portion of each of the plurality of contact parts (121) and a plurality of terminal parts (140) are electrically connected through surface contact via physical and chemical bonding by joining one of the first contact surface (142) and the second contact surface (143) with each of the plurality of contact parts (121) using a joint member (160). In addition, by implementing a stable connection structure using the joint member (160), the stability of the electrical connection can be ensured without being affected by external shocks, etc. By implementing a stable electrical connection structure, changes in the contact area between the plurality of contact parts (121) and the plurality of terminal parts (140) over time can be prevented, thereby ensuring that the electrical resistance applied to the heating member (120) remains constant. Accordingly, the battery consumption and vaporization amount of the fine particle generating device are fundamentally prevented from changing rapidly over time, thereby ensuring that the user's smoking satisfaction remains constant.

[0072] Hereinafter, an exemplary production process of a liquid cartridge device (1) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is described. However, it is not necessarily limited thereto.

[0073] Referring to FIG. 5, a plurality of terminal portions (140) can be formed in a state where the extension portion (144) is coupled to a frame, etc. using a press process.

[0074] The inner case (130) can be formed by an outsert injection molding method centered on a plurality of terminal portions (140). The external connection portion (141) can be configured to be exposed on one side in the height direction of the inner case (130).

[0075] The heating member (120) may be configured such that its central portion is wound onto the winding portion (111) of the liquid delivery means (110). A predetermined joint member (160) may be applied to at least a portion of the plurality of contact portions (121). Here, the predetermined joint member (160) may be an amount sufficient to cover the first contact surface (142) and the second contact surface (143) of each of the plurality of contact portions (121) and the corresponding plurality of terminal portions (140). The liquid delivery means (110) on which the heating member (120) is wound may be seated in the plurality of seating grooves (131) of the inner case (130).

[0076] When the heating member (120) is seated in a plurality of seating grooves (131) of the inner case (130), each of the plurality of contact portions (121) formed at both ends of the heating member (120) may be in contact with a second surface of a plurality of terminal portions (140) formed at the bottom of the inner case (130). More specifically, one of the plurality of contact portions (121) may be in contact with a first contact surface (142) of one of the plurality of terminal portions (140). Another of the plurality of contact portions (121) may be in contact with a second contact surface (143) of another of the plurality of terminal portions (140).

[0077] A heating member (120) is seated in a plurality of seating grooves (131) of an inner case (130), and a curing process can be performed using a chamber oven or a reflow oven, etc. As the curing process is performed, a joint member (160) in a gel state or paste state having fluidity can be cured.

[0078] After the curing process is performed, the outer case (150) can be formed by a double injection method centered on the inner case (130). By doing so, it is possible to form the outer case (150) and the inner case (130) without any spaced-out gap between them.

[0079] An aerosol generating unit (not shown) according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may include some or all of a liquid delivery means (110), a heating member (120), an inner case (130), and an outer case (150).

[0080] Since the components of an aerosol generating unit (not shown) according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may be identical to the components of an aerosol generating unit (100) according to one embodiment, except for the components specifically described below, a detailed description of the identical parts is omitted.

[0081] An aerosol generating unit (not shown) according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may supply a certain amount of voltage and high current to each of the plurality of contact parts (121) and / or the first contact surface (142) and the second contact surface (143) of the plurality of terminal parts (140) corresponding to each of the plurality of contact parts (121) in order to electrically connect the plurality of contact parts (121) and the plurality of terminal parts (140) at both ends of a heating member (120). After that, the plurality of contact parts (121) and the plurality of terminal parts (140) may be brought into contact with each other so that a strong electric field is formed between the plurality of contact parts (121) and the plurality of terminal parts (140). As a result, an electric arc may be generated, and heat of a high temperature may be generated. The plurality of contact parts (121) and the plurality of terminal parts (140) may be physically and chemically bonded by melting to form a molten pool and then solidifying. By doing this, a stable electrical connection structure can be implemented. This physicochemical bonding forms a stronger bonding force than a simple physical contact method, which has the effect of ensuring the stability of the electrical connection without being affected by external shocks. By implementing a stable electrical connection structure, changes in the electrical resistance applied to the heating element (120) due to changes in the contact area over time can be prevented, thereby preventing a decrease in battery usage efficiency and ultimately maintaining the consumer's smoking satisfaction at a constant level.
