Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an anti-slip ruler, and more specifically, to a four-way anti-slip ruler that can prevent slipping when drawing lines using a ruler and can be used in all four directions. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, rulers are widely used to measure the length of objects. Users use these rulers not only to measure the length of objects but also to draw lines.

[0003] When drawing lines using a standard ruler, one presses the ruler against the surface with one hand and uses a writing instrument with the other hand to draw lines along the side of the ruler.

[0004] When young students use a ruler to draw lines, there is a problem in that the ruler slips due to insufficient force to press against the ground, resulting in the line not being drawn properly.

[0005] Since the scale is marked in only one direction, there is the inconvenience of having to turn the ruler in the desired direction to use it. The problem to be solved

[0006] The present invention is intended to prevent a ruler from slipping when young students use it to draw lines and to eliminate the inconvenience of being limited to using only one side of the ruler. To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides a non-slip ruler comprising a body having a certain length, a scale portion provided on one side of the body with a length measuring scale engraved or printed thereon, and fixing grooves provided on the body to prevent slipping.

[0007] It is preferable that at least two of the above fixing grooves be provided at regular intervals.

[0008] It is preferable that at least one of the above fixing grooves penetrates the body.

[0009] It provides scales in all four directions, reducing the hassle of using only one scale. Effects of the invention

[0010] The present invention allows a user to prevent the ruler from sliding or slipping with minimal force by inserting their thumb and index finger into the fixing grooves provided on the body of the ruler and pressing the ruler. Therefore, the present invention enables young students to draw lines stably by fixing the ruler with minimal force to prevent slipping, and eliminates the inconvenience associated with conventional rulers that can only be used in one direction, as the ruler has markings in all four directions. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0011] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a four-way anti-slip ruler showing the structure of the present invention. Figure 2 is a top view of a four-way anti-slip ruler. Specific details for implementing the invention

[0012] The user places the tips of the index finger and thumb on the fixing grooves (4, 5), respectively. Then, the user lightly presses the ruler with their fingers. The fixing groove (5) is formed as a groove in the body (1), so the fingertips can be stably fixed with a small amount of force without slipping. Then, the user holds the writing instrument with their other hand and places it against the side of the body (1) to draw lines. This allows for stable line drawing without the ruler slipping. Therefore, it has the effect of enabling young students to easily and properly draw lines without the help of people around them. After processing the ruler so that it is sloped in all four directions, the scale (1, 2) is marked. Explanation of the symbols
