Claim 1 An accompaniment providing device characterized by comprising: an additional control unit that, when a song battle game is selected, checks whether the opponent's accompaniment providing device is connected based on a network, and starts the song battle game with the opponent's accompaniment providing device; an accompaniment providing unit that outputs an accompaniment video including song accompaniment and song lyrics corresponding to the song battle game; an encoder that encodes the accompaniment video into video stream data and outputs it; an item application unit that applies an item to the opponent's accompaniment providing device during the song battle game; and a video control unit that controls the output of an effect reflecting the item on the accompaniment video. Claim 2 An accompaniment providing device according to claim 1, wherein the additional control unit sets game condition information for selecting one of a specific song, a specific genre, or a specific singer for the song battle game, and starts the song battle game with the opponent accompaniment providing device that agrees to the game condition information.
