Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a cup holder for a vehicle. Background Technology
[0002] Cup holders are provided in various locations within the vehicle. For example, they can be installed in the console box between the driver and passenger seats, on the dashboard, or on the back of the seats.
[0003] These cup holders take up a large volume to hold cups of various sizes, which has the disadvantage of being unfavorable for securing storage space.
[0004] In particular, for purpose-built vehicles (PBVs) used for delivery, multiple cup holders are required, and storage space is even more necessary, so it is necessary to install additional cup holders without encroaching on existing space as much as possible. The problem to be solved
[0005] One embodiment of the present invention proposes a vehicle cup holder that minimizes the space occupied in the vehicle when stored by allowing the cup guide to unfold as it is pulled out forward while being stored in a vertical direction.
[0006] The technical problems to be solved by the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other technical problems not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present invention belongs from the description below. means of solving the problem
[0007] A vehicle cup holder according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a cup guide portion that supports the side of a cup, a cup support portion that supports the bottom of a cup, and a slider that is connected to each of the cup guide portion and the cup support portion and moves in an up-and-down direction to fold or unfold the cup guide portion and the cup support portion in half.
[0008] For example, it may further include a main body that includes a cup guide portion and a cup holder portion, a storage portion in which the main body is stored, and a first spring whose ends are respectively connected to the main body and the storage portion so that the main body moves horizontally and is pushed out of the storage portion.
[0009] For example, the slider may further include a shaft protruding outward from the main body, and the storage portion may include a shaft guide groove on the inner surface that accommodates at least a portion of the shaft to provide a path for the slider to move up and down when the main body moves horizontally.
[0010] For example, the first position of the slider in the initial state where the main body is stored inside the storage compartment and the second position of the slider in the final state where the main body is pushed out of the storage compartment by the spring and stops may have a predetermined height difference in the vertical direction.
[0011] For example, the cup guide section includes first and second cup guide sections that fold and unfold by driving symmetrically with respect to each other, a first-1 extension section extending horizontally from one end of each of the first and second cup guide sections, and a first-2 extension section extending horizontally from the other end of each of the first and second cup guide sections, and the main body includes a first through hole through which the first-1 and first-2 extension sections pass, and the first and second cup guide sections can be folded or unfolded while the first-1 and second-1 extension sections rotate within the first through hole.
[0012] For example, the end of the first-1 extension includes a first protrusion that protrudes perpendicularly to the first-1 extension, and the slider includes a first groove that accommodates at least a portion of the first protrusion, and the first groove can rotate the first-1 extension by applying a rotational force to the first protrusion when the slider moves in the up-and-down direction.
[0013] For example, each of the first and second cup guide portions has both ends connected to the first and second extension portions and the side wall of the main body, respectively, and further includes a second spring that applies a rotational force to the first and second extension portions so that the first and second cup guide portions are maintained in a folded state without external force being applied, and the first groove can apply a rotational force opposite to the second spring to the first protrusion when the slider moves from the first position to the second position.
[0014] For example, the cup holder includes first and second cup holders that are driven symmetrically to fold and unfold, a second-1 extension extending in the horizontal direction from one end of each of the first and second cup holders, and a second-2 extension extending in the horizontal direction from the other end of each of the first and second cup holders, and the main body further includes a fixing member in which the second-1 and second-2 extensions are fixed so as to be rotatable, and the first and second cup holders can be folded or unfolded while the second-1 and second-2 extensions are coupled to the fixing member and rotate.
[0015] For example, the second-2 extension may further include a third spring that applies rotational force to the second-2 extension so that the first and second cup holders are maintained in an unfolded state without external force being applied, with both ends connected to the second-2 extension and the fixed member, respectively.
[0016] For example, the end of the 2-1 extension includes a second protrusion having a second central axis parallel to the first central axis of the 2-1 extension, and the slider further includes a support member positioned below the second protrusion to support the second protrusion, and the support member can apply a rotational force to the second protrusion that is opposite to the third spring when the slider moves from the second position to the first position.
[0017] For example, the main body may further include a pair of cup supports positioned with a cup holder between them, and the pair of cup supports may include first and second cup supports that drive symmetrically with each other to hold both sides of the cup, a third protrusion that protrudes from the first and second cup supports and forms a rotation axis of the first and second cup supports, and a fourth spring that rotates the first and second cup supports with respect to the third protrusion in the direction in which the cup is to be positioned.
[0018] For example, the main body includes a receiving portion in which the first and second cup supports are received, and the receiving portion includes a third through hole through which at least a portion of the third protrusion passes, and the fourth spring can push the first and second cup supports to the outside of the receiving portion by having its central portion surround the first or second cup support and its ends extend across the side wall forming the receiving portion.
[0019] For example, the main body may further include a fixing member that prevents the main body from being pushed out of the storage compartment by a first spring, and the fixing member may include a cam rotatably coupled to the storage compartment, a pin coupled to the cam, and a guide groove formed on the surface of the main body facing the cam and accommodating at least a portion of the pin to provide a movement path for the pin.
[0020] For example, the cam protrudes in one direction and includes a cam protrusion to which the pin is coupled, and the storage portion may include an angle limiting portion disposed on the movement path of the cam protrusion to limit the rotation angle of the cam.
[0021] For example, one side of the storage compartment is open so that the main body can be pushed out or pushed in horizontally, and one side of the main body can be exposed to the outside in the initial state where it is stored inside the storage compartment.
[0022] For example, the guide groove includes an inner protrusion protruding from the inner side of the guide groove, and at least a portion of the side of the inner protrusion includes a curved surface toward the center of the inner protrusion, and the pin may be positioned to come into contact with the curved surface in the initial state in which the main body is stored in the storage portion.
[0023] For example, the guide groove may include a first path that guides the pin to move to a first position that does not overlap horizontally with the curved surface when a force pressing one side of the main body is applied, a second path that guides the pin to move out of the guide groove from the first position by a first spring force, a third path that guides the pin to move around the inner protrusion and overlap horizontally with the curved surface when the main body is stored in the storage portion, and a fourth path that guides the pin to move to the curved surface from the second position by a first spring force.
[0024] For example, the main body may further include a speed control unit that controls the speed at which it is pushed out of the storage unit by the spring, and the speed control unit may include a damper comprising a toothed member disposed on the outer surface of the main body and a rack rail coupled to the storage unit and engaged with the toothed member.
[0025] For example, the main body may include a first horizontal groove or a second horizontal protrusion extending in a horizontal direction on a side facing the storage portion, and the storage portion may include a second horizontal groove that guides the horizontal movement of the main body by accommodating at least a portion of the first horizontal protrusion or the second horizontal protrusion, at least a portion of which is accommodated in the first horizontal groove. Effects of the invention
[0026] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the cup holder is folded vertically rather than horizontally, thereby minimizing the space occupied during storage. As the space occupied during storage is reduced, the cup holder can be installed in an unused gray zone within the vehicle, allowing for the additional installation of a cup holder without encroaching on existing space.
[0027] According to one embodiment of the present invention, it is stored normally and can be pulled out and used by simply pushing when in use, thereby ensuring convenience of use and vehicle interior design.
[0028] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the cup can be automatically withdrawn through a spring, the withdrawal speed can be controlled through a damper, and the cup guide part and the cup base part can be unfolded simultaneously when withdrawn to achieve a sense of luxury.
[0029] The effects obtainable from the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned effects will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0038] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0039] Hereinafter, a vehicle cup holder according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and FIG. 2. Figure (a) of FIG. 1 is a drawing showing the vehicle cup holder according to an embodiment of the present invention before operation, Figure (b) is a drawing showing the vehicle cup holder according to FIG. 1 with a portion of the storage portion (100) removed, and Figure (b) is a drawing showing the main body (300) of Figure (a) in a transparent manner.
[0040] A vehicle cup holder may include a storage portion (100) and a main body (300) that is normally stored in the storage portion (100) and is pulled out of the storage portion (100) when in use.
[0041] The storage unit (100) may be inserted into a structure such as a dashboard or console box inside a vehicle, and one side may be open so that the main body (300) can enter or exit.
[0042] The main body (300) can be inserted or withdrawn by passing through one side of the open storage unit (100).
[0043] A cover (301) may be placed on the outer side of the main body (300) exposed by the open side of the storage unit (100), and the user may push the cover (301) to allow the main body (300) to be pulled out.
[0044] The main body (300) may include a cup guide part (400) that holds or supports the side of the cup and a cup support part (500) that supports the cup. The cup guide part (400) and the cup support part (500) can be folded vertically based on the direction of movement of the main body (300). Accordingly, it can be stored in a folded state as shown in figure (a) of FIG. 2, and can be unfolded to hold the cup when the main body (300) is withdrawn from the storage part (100) as shown in figure (b) of FIG. 1.
[0045] The storage unit (100) and the main body (300) may be connected by a first spring (200). Referring to Figure (b) of FIG. 2, the storage unit (100) may include a space (201) that accommodates the first spring (200), and the first spring (200) may be a plate spring with a tendency to be rolled up. The first spring (200) may be placed and fixed inside the first spring receiving space (201) in an initial rolled-up state, and the outer end of the first spring (200) may be drawn out from the first spring receiving space (201) and connected to the innermost surface of the main body (300). The force of the first spring (200) to return to its initial state may cause the main body (300) to move horizontally and be drawn out to the outside of the storage unit (100) (e.g., it may be drawn out to approximately 130 mm). However, this is merely an example and is not necessarily limited to such a structure, and other types of springs or elastic members may be used as long as the main body (300) can be automatically withdrawn.
[0046] In order to allow the main body (300) to move smoothly in the horizontal direction by the first spring (200), the opposing sides of the main body (300) and the storage unit (100) may each include a horizontal protrusion protruding in the horizontal direction and a horizontal groove into which the horizontal protrusion is inserted. For example, if the side of the main body (300) includes a first horizontal groove (302), the side of the storage unit (100) may include a first horizontal protrusion (102) into which at least a portion is received in the first horizontal groove (302), and conversely, if the side of the main body (300) includes a second horizontal protrusion, the side of the storage unit (100) may include a second horizontal groove that receives at least a portion of the second horizontal protrusion to guide the horizontal movement of the main body (300).
[0047] The cup guide portion (400) and the cup support portion (500) of the main body (300) can be folded or unfolded by a slider (700). Referring to Figure 2 (b), the slider (700) may be placed inside the main body (300) and may include a shaft (710) protruding outside the main body (300). Inside the main body (300), the slider (700) is fixed so as not to move in the horizontal direction, but may be coupled so as to be able to move in the vertical direction.
[0048] Referring to Figure 3(a), which shows only the storage portion (100) and the slider (700) in Figure 2(a), and Figure 3(b), which shows only the storage portion (100) and the shaft (710), the storage portion (100) may include a shaft guide groove (850) (101) that accommodates at least a portion of the shaft (710) and provides a movement path for the shaft (710). The shaft (710) moves along the shaft guide groove (850) (101) when the main body (300) moves horizontally.
[0049] Referring to FIG. 4, the shaft guide groove (850) (101) can provide a path for the shaft (710) to move downward by a vertical length Q (e.g., 5 mm) for a horizontal length P (e.g., 15 mm) as it approaches the end. When the position of the slider (700) (or shaft (710)) in the initial state (cup holder closed state) in which the main body (300) is stored inside the storage section (100) is called the first position, and the position of the slider (700) (or shaft (710)) in the final state in which the main body (300) is pulled out is called the second position, the first position and the second position may have a difference of Q in the vertical direction (or vertical direction). That is, as the main body (300) moves in the horizontal direction, the slider (700) can move up and down by Q.
[0050] The following describes how the slider (700) folds or unfolds the cup guide portion (400) with reference to FIGS. 5 and FIGS. Figure (a) of FIG. 5 is a drawing showing the main body (300) being pushed outward from the storage portion (100), Figure (b) is an enlarged drawing (viewed from C-C') of the first-1 extension portion (421), and Figure (c) is an enlarged drawing (viewed from D-D') of the first-2 extension portion (422). FIG. 6 is a diagram showing the appearance of the first-1 extension portion (421) and the first-2 extension portion (422) according to the up-and-down movement of the slider (700) in Figures (b) and (c) of FIG. 5.
[0051] The cup guide section (400) may include first and second cup guide sections (411, 412) that are symmetrically driven to fold and unfold, a first-1 extension section (421) extending horizontally from one end of each of the first and second cup guide sections (411, 412), and a first-2 extension section (422) extending horizontally from the other end of each of the first and second cup guide sections (411, 412). For example, the first-1 extension section (421) may be positioned in the direction where the slider (700) is located, and the first-2 extension section (422) may be positioned in the direction where the cover (301) is located.
[0052] The first-1 extension part (421) and the first-2 extension part (422) can pass through the first through hole (430) included in the main body (300) and can rotate while passing through the first through hole (430). The first and second cup guide parts (411, 412) can form a cup guide part (400) that folds or unfolds as they rotate symmetrically with respect to each other.
[0053] Referring to the left side of the diagram in FIG. 6, the end of the first-1 extension (421) includes a first protrusion (423) that protrudes perpendicularly to the first-1 extension (421), and the slider (700) may include a first groove (720) that accommodates at least a portion of the first protrusion (423).
[0054] As the slider (700) moves from the first position to the second position, it moves downward by Q, and accordingly, the first groove (720) also moves downward, pushing the end of the first protrusion (423) received in the first groove (720) downward. Since the first-1 extension (421) cannot move vertically due to the first through hole (430), the force applied by the first groove (720) to the end of the first protrusion (423) can act as a rotational force that causes the first-1 extension (421) to rotate relative to the first through hole (430). Ultimately, as the slider (700) moves downward, it rotates the first protrusion (423) (and the first-1 extension (421) and the first and second cup guide parts (411, 412) connected thereto) in the direction of the red arrow (the direction in which the cup guide part (400) unfolds).
[0055] On the other hand, referring to the right side of the diagram in FIG. 6, a second spring (424) may be disposed on the side of the first-second extension (422), with both ends connected to the side walls of the first-second extension (422) and the main body (300), respectively. The second spring (424) may apply rotational force to the first-second extension (422) so that the first and second cup guides (411, 412) remain in a folded state without any external force being applied.
[0056] Ultimately, the cup guide portion (400) can be folded in half or unfolded according to the horizontal movement of the main body (300) by means of a second spring (424) that applies force to the first-second extension portion (422) so that the cup guide portion (400) folds, and a first groove (720) that applies force to the first-first extension portion (421) so that the cup guide portion (400) unfolds when the slider (700) moves downward.
[0057] The following describes how the slider (700) folds or unfolds the cup holder (500) with reference to FIGS. 7 and FIGS. 8. Figure (a) of FIG. 7 is a drawing showing the main body (300) being pushed out to the outside of the storage unit (100), Figure (b) is a drawing showing an enlarged view of the second-1 extension part (521) side (viewed from E-E'), Figure (c) is a drawing showing an enlarged view of the second-2 extension part (522) side (viewed from F-F'), and FIG. 8 is a diagram showing the appearance of the second-1 extension part (521) and the second-2 extension part (522) according to the up-and-down movement of the slider (700) in Figures (b) and (c) of FIG. 7.
[0058] The cup holder (500) may include first and second cup holders (511, 512) that are symmetrically driven to fold and unfold, a second-1 extension (521) extending horizontally from one end of each of the first and second cup holders (511, 512), and a second-2 extension (522) extending horizontally from the other end of each of the first and second cup holders (511, 512). For example, the second-1 extension (521) may be positioned in the direction where the slider (700) is located, and the second-2 extension (522) may be positioned in the direction where the cover (301) is located.
[0059] The main body (300) may further include a fixing member (530) in which the 2-1 and 2-2 extension parts (522) are fixed so as to be rotatable. The 2-1 and 2-2 extension parts (522) can form a cup holder (500) that folds or unfolds while rotating symmetrically relative to each other while connected to the fixing member (530).
[0060] Similar to the first-2 extension part (422), a third spring (524) may be disposed in the second-2 extension part (522), with both ends connected to the second-2 extension part (522) and the fixing member (530), respectively. However, unlike the second spring (424) which keeps the first and second cup guide parts (411, 412) in a closed state, the third spring (524) may apply rotational force to the second-2 extension part (522) so that the first and second cup support parts (511, 512) are kept in an "open state" without any external force being applied.
[0061] The end of the second-1 extension (521) may include a second protrusion (523) having a second central axis parallel to the first central axis of the second-1 extension (521). The slider (700) may include a support member (730) positioned below the second protrusion (523) to support the second protrusion (523).
[0062] Referring to the diagram in FIG. 8, the support member (730) of the slider (700) can apply a rotational force to the second protrusion (523) that is opposite to the third spring (524) when the slider (700) moves from the second position to the first position. That is, the third spring (524) can apply a rotational force to unfold the cup holder (500) to the second-2 extension (522), and conversely, the support member (730) can apply a rotational force to fold the cup holder (500) to the second-1 extension (521) by pulling the second protrusion (523) upward, and the cup holder (500) can be folded in half or unfolded according to the horizontal movement of the main body (300) by the third spring (524) and the support member (730).
[0063] The main body (300) may further include a cup support (600) that holds the lower side of the cup in addition to the cup guide portion (400) and the cup support portion (500). A pair of cup supports (600) may be arranged with the cup support portion (500) in between, and may include first and second cup supports (611, 612) that are driven symmetrically with respect to each other.
[0064] Referring to Figure 9 (a), the first and second cup supports (611, 612) can be received in a receiving portion (631) formed by protruding from a fixed member (530) disposed inside the main body (300). Referring to Figure 9 (b), a third protrusion (621) can be formed on the upper portion of the first and second cup supports (611, 612). At least a portion of the third protrusion (621) can be inserted into a third through hole (632) formed in the receiving portion (631) to form a rotation axis of the first and second cup supports (611, 612). A fourth spring (622) that pushes the first and second cup supports (611, 612) in the direction in which the cup is to be placed can be disposed in the third protrusion (621). The fourth spring (622) has a central portion that wraps around the first or second cup support (600) and has both ends that are stretched across the side walls forming the receiving portion (631), allowing the first and second cup supports (611, 612) to be pushed to the outside of the receiving portion (631).
[0065] A vehicle cup holder according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a fixing part and a speed control part. The fixing part prevents the main body (300) from being pushed out by the first spring (200) while the main body (300) is stored in the storage part (100), and the speed control part can reduce the speed so that the main body (300) can be pulled out smoothly when it is pushed out of the storage part (100).
[0066] The following describes the fixed part and the speed control part with reference to FIGS. 10 to 13.
[0067] FIG. 10 is an enlarged view of area A of figure (a) of FIG. 2, figure (a) is a drawing showing the storage portion (100) and the cam (810) connected thereto (the main body (300) is not shown), and figure (b) is a drawing showing the storage portion (100) not shown in order to show the appearance of the pin (840) and the guide groove (850) connected in area A. FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view showing the GG' section of figure (a) of FIG. 10, and FIG. 12 is a bottom view looking H-H' of figure (b) of FIG. 10, a drawing to explain the path of the guide groove (850).
[0068] The cam (810) can be rotatably coupled to the storage unit (100). Referring to Figure 11, which is a cross-sectional view showing the GG' cross section of Figure 10 (b) and Figure 10 (a), the cam (810) may include a rotation axis inserted into the storage unit (100) and a protruding area (811) at the lower end of the rotation axis. The storage unit (100) may include a hole corresponding to the shape of the protruding area (811), and by inserting the protruding area (811) into the hole and rotating it, the cam (810) can be coupled to the storage unit (100) and can rotate about the rotation axis.
[0069] Additionally, the cam (810) may include a cam protrusion (820) that protrudes in one direction. A pin (840) may be coupled to the cam protrusion (820). The pin (840) may rotate with respect to the rotation axis of the cam (810).
[0070] The main body (300) facing the cam (810) may include a guide groove (850) on the surface facing the cam (810). The guide groove (850) may accommodate at least a portion of the pin (840). The guide groove (850) may provide a specific path along which the pin (840) moves. The pin (840) may move along a specific path within the guide groove (850) depending on the rotation of the cam (810) and the horizontal movement of the main body (300). This will be explained with reference to FIG. 12.
[0071] Referring to FIG. 12, the guide groove (850) may include an inner protrusion (860). At least a portion of the side of the inner protrusion (860) may include a curved surface (870) toward the center of the inner protrusion (860). The main body (300) receives a force that attempts to push it out of the storage portion (100) by the first spring (200). That is, in FIG. 12, the main body (300) receives a force that attempts to move to the right in the drawing.
[0072] A pin (840) coupled to a cam (810) coupled to a storage unit (100) can be positioned on the curved surface (870) of an inner protrusion (860) in the initial state where the main body (300) is stored in the storage unit (100). The pin (840) prevents the main body (300) from moving to the right in the drawing, and the curved surface (870) of the inner protrusion (860) allows the pin (840) to stably prevent the movement of the main body (300). By means of the pin (840) and the inner protrusion (860), the main body (300) can maintain a stationary state while stored.
[0073] However, when opening the cup holder, that is, so that the main body (300) is pulled out to the outside of the storage section (100), the pin (840) needs not overlap horizontally with the curved surface (870) of the inner protrusion (860). Accordingly, the guide groove (850) may include a first path (ⓐ) that guides the pin (840) to move to a position (1) that does not overlap horizontally with the curved surface (870) when a force is applied to the cover (301) of the main body (300), and a second path (ⓑ) that guides the pin (840) to move outside the guide groove (850) from position (1).
[0074] Conversely, when the cup holder is closed, that is, when the main body (300) is inserted into the storage portion (100), in order for the main body (300) to return to a stationary state, the pin (840) needs to move to a position (2) that overlaps horizontally with the curved surface (870) of the inner protrusion (860).
[0075] Accordingly, the guide groove (850) may include a third path (ⓒ) that guides the pin (840) to move around the inner protrusion (860) to a position (2) that overlaps horizontally with the curved surface (870), and a fourth path (ⓓ) that guides the pin (840) to move from the second position to the curved surface (870) by the force of the first spring (200).
[0076] It may be preferable for the pin (840) to rotate within a certain range so that the pin (840) moves along a specific path within the guide groove (850) or is positioned inside the guide groove (850) when the main body (300) is stored within the storage unit (100). Accordingly, the storage unit (100) may include an angle limiting member (830) that limits the rotation angle of the cam (810) by being positioned on the movement path of the cam protrusion (820) so that the cam protrusion (820) to which the pin (840) is attached can rotate within a predetermined angle.
[0077] FIG. 13 is a drawing illustrating a speed control unit according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure (a) of FIG. 13 is an enlarged view of area B of Figure (a) of FIG. 2, and Figure (b) of FIG. 13 is a drawing in which the main body (300) is not shown to easily explain the appearance of the rack rail (930) and the gear member (920).
[0078] The speed control unit may include a damper (910) including a toothed member (920) and a rack rail (930) having a toothed shape that meshes with the toothed shape of the toothed member (920). The damper (910) may be placed in the main body (300), and the rack rail (930) may be placed in the storage unit (100).
[0079] The damper (910) may include an attachment member (921) and a tooth member (920), and the tooth member (920) may be rotatably coupled to the attachment member (921), and a lubricant such as oil may be applied between them. The attachment member may be fixed to the outer or inner surface of the main body (300) through a bolt (911), etc. When fixed to the inner surface of the main body (300), the side of the main body (300) may include a hole through which the tooth member (920) can pass.
[0080] The interlocking of the gear member (920) placed on the main body (300) and the rack rail (930) placed on the storage unit (100) creates a damping effect, which can reduce the speed at which the main body (300) is pulled out to an appropriate range, thereby preventing the main body (300) from springing out quickly and allowing it to be pulled out smoothly, thereby realizing a sense of luxury.
[0081] Although only a few examples have been described as previously stated, various other forms of implementation are possible. The technical details of the previously described embodiments can be combined in various forms, provided they are not mutually incompatible, and can be implemented in new forms through this combination.
[0082] It is obvious to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit and essential features of the invention. Accordingly, the foregoing detailed description should not be interpreted restrictively in all respects but should be considered exemplary. The scope of the invention shall be determined by a reasonable interpretation of the appended claims, and all modifications within the equivalent scope of the invention are included within the scope of the invention.
