Background Technology

[0003] Generally, with the advancement of medicine and various related technologies, tests are being conducted on substances such as blood cells, nucleic acids, proteins, antigens, antibodies, and drugs contained in specific biological samples such as saliva, blood, and urine.

[0004] After collecting a sample as described above, by reacting the collected sample with a specific reagent and analyzing and observing the resulting changes, it is possible to test for the presence, ratio, and quantity of various substances contained in the sample, and thereby obtain information regarding the presence or absence of disease and the state of the disease.

[0005] In the inspection process of such samples, it is important to prevent contamination caused by external exposure not only during the sample collection process but also during the storage and processing of the collected samples.

[0006] The existing method of transporting and storing urine samples during testing poses a risk of contamination to the examiner's hands and potential sample loss during the process of collecting the sample in a disposable cup and transferring it to a test container.

[0007] In addition, disposable cups must be stored by stacking, which reduces space efficiency, and there is a problem of reduced work efficiency because additional steps are required to mount them on inspection equipment.

[0008] A quantitative saliva sample collection tool to solve these problems has been proposed in Korean Public Patent No. 10-2023-0007846 (hereinafter referred to as the prior invention).

[0009] It can be seen that the prior invention is characterized by a configuration comprising: a swab part (10) composed of a head part (11) for directly collecting saliva and a stick part (12) formed integrally on one side of the head part (11) to support the head part (11); and a tube part (20) for storing the swab part (10) inside and then sealing the inside with a lid (21) for transport.

[0010] However, the prior invention has the problem of not being able to collect an appropriate amount of saliva, including urine, for testing, and has the problem of not being hygienically clean because the structure does not maintain internal airtightness. Prior art literature

Specific details for implementing the invention

[0023] Specific embodiments in which the present invention can be implemented are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0024] These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable a person skilled in the art to practice the invention, and it should be understood that various embodiments of the invention are different but need not be mutually exclusive.

[0025] Hereinafter, in order to enable a person skilled in the art to easily practice the present invention, the invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0027] FIG. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of a urine test customized syringe to which the present invention is applied, and FIG. 2 shows an internal configuration of a urine test customized syringe to which the present invention is applied.

[0029] A syringe (100) for a urine sample to which the present invention is applied comprises: a sample collection member (200) having a suction tube for dispensing a urine sample collected from an examiner; a filling member (300) having a sedimentation section (330) that receives a certain amount of urine sample flowing in from the sample collection member (200) coupled to a cylindrical syringe tip (312) and collects urine sediment; a piston body (410) that feeds the urine sample by the suction force of a head (413) mounted inside the syringe (310) and moving from the tip (312) to the rear end (314); a rod (412) coupled to the head (413) and moved and exposed outside the rear end (314) of the filling member (300); and a groove (412a) that cuts off an unnecessary part of the exposed rod (412). It is made of a suction member (400).

[0031] Figure 3 shows the lid state of a urine test customized syringe according to the present invention.

[0033] The above-mentioned inspection member (200) is composed of an inlet tube (210) that is installed to protrude from the center of the lid (220) with a predetermined length and is immersed in a disposable container for urine collection, a fastening part (230) that is coupled to the tip (312) of the syringe (310) of the filling member (300), and a lid (220) having a protruding coupling part (240) to which the inlet tube (210) is assembled.

[0034] The filling member (300) has a branch hole (320) for collecting urine samples formed inside the cylindrical syringe (310), and a sedimentation section (330) in which urine sediment of the collected urine sample settles is integrally formed in the branch hole (320), wherein the diameter inside the sedimentation section (330) is formed differently at the front end (312) and rear end (314) of the syringe (310), and a sedimentation hole (333) is formed such that the diameter of the rear end (314) is smaller than the diameter of the front end (312).

[0035] In forming the interior of the narrowing portion (330) in this way, the diameter of the branch hole (320) inside the cylindrical syringe (310) can be formed to gradually narrow toward the narrowing hole (333) or to slope steeply.

[0037] Figure 4 shows the state of the piston body of the suction member in the present invention.

[0039] In forming the urine sample syringe (100) of the present invention, the piston body (410) of the suction member (400) is composed of a head (415) that moves in close contact with the inner diameter of the branch hole (320) and a rod (412) that is coupled to the head (415) and exposed to the outside of the narrowing hole (333) of the syringe (310), and the outer diameter of the head (415) is configured such that an inclined groove (414) corresponding to the narrowing hole (333) is formed on the surface.

[0040] And, a groove (412a) is formed at the tip (312) of the rod (412) that is coupled with the head (415), so that it is cut at a position extending beyond the rear end (314) of the cylinder.

[0041] Forming the above groove (312a) at a position extending beyond the rear end (314) of the syringe causes the rod (412) of the piston body (410) to extend to the rear end (314) of the syringe (310) when pulled from the syringe (310) for branching of the urine sample, thereby occupying unnecessary space for storage and acting as a very inconvenient factor for handling, storage, and transportation.

[0042] Therefore, removing the exposed length is intended to facilitate storage, handling, and movement by reducing unnecessary length.

[0044] FIG. 5 shows the start state of urine sample collection for the syringe of the present invention, and FIG. 6 shows the progress state of urine sample collection for the syringe of the present invention and the state of the rod after collection.

[0046] In this invention, when a patient brings a urine sample in a disposable cup with a large opening, instead of going through the process of transferring it to a conventional centrifuge tube with a small opening as in the past, a urine sample is sucked into the disposable cup using a syringe (100) and an appropriate amount is diverted, thereby completely preventing the urine sample from leaking out, so that contamination of the examiner does not occur and the examination room environment can be maintained in a clean state.

[0047] That is, when a patient receives a urine sample in a disposable cup (L) with a large opening, the sample collection member (200) of the urine sample syringe (100) of the present invention is immersed so that the inlet tube (210) of the lid (220) is immersed in the urine as in FIG. 5.

[0048] Afterwards, hold the syringe (310) of the filling member (200) with one hand and, with the other hand, hook your finger onto the handle (415) formed on the rod (412) of the suction member (400) and pull slowly.

[0049] In this way, when the rod (412) of the suction member (400) is pulled, the head (413) of the piston body (410) moves simultaneously in the branch hole (320) of the filling member (300), and the urine is sucked into the branch hole (320) through the inlet pipe (210) of the odor removal member (200) by the suction force generated by the adhesion of the head (413).

[0050] When urine flows into the branch hole (320) of the syringe (310) by pulling the rod (412) of the suction member (400), check whether the appropriate amount (10~12 ml) is present, and then bend the rod (412) exposed at the rear end (314) of the syringe.

[0051] When the above rod (412) is bent, the groove (412a) located near the head (413) of the rod (412) exposed to the rear end (314) of the syringe is bent, so the length exposed to the rear end (314) of the syringe is removed.

[0052] When the rod (412) is bent, the total length of the urine sample syringe (100) is shortened, making it possible to mount it on the rack of the centrifuge during subsequent urine chemistry experiments, thereby making centrifugation easier.

[0053] And, when the syringe (100) for the urine sample of the present invention is mounted upright on the rack of a centrifuge for centrifugation, the syringe (310) exhibits the characteristic that the urine sediment contained in the urine sample is collected in a concentrated state by the narrowing hole (333) at the rear end (314) of the syringe, and the separation of components from the urine sample collected by centrifugation is easily achieved.

[0055] Although embodiments have been described as above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments and can be manufactured in various different forms, and a person skilled in the art to which the present invention belongs will understand that it can be implemented in other specific forms without changing the technical concept or essential features of the present invention.

[0056] Therefore, the embodiments described above should be understood as exemplary in all respects and not limiting. Explanation of the symbols
