Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The following embodiments relate to women's trousers with improved fit and size compatibility and a method for manufacturing the same. Background Technology
[0003] Reflecting the diverse body types of consumers has become a critical challenge in the modern clothing industry. In particular, women's pants present a problem in that it is difficult to satisfy various body types with a single size, as fit varies across the waist, hips, and thighs. Conventional pants are manufactured based on limited size options and fixed patterns, making it difficult to flexibly adapt to the wearer's body curves. As a result, consumers experience discomfort when wearing them, or face issues such as being excessively tight or loose in specific areas.
[0004] With the rise of online shopping, consumers are increasingly purchasing items without trying them on in-store. However, existing standardized sizing methods fail to adequately accommodate diverse body types, leading to high return and exchange rates. This results in increased logistics costs and inventory burdens for both consumers and clothing manufacturers, causing inefficiency across the entire industry. Therefore, a new design approach is needed to enhance size compatibility and accommodate various body types.
[0005] Existing pants have attempted to improve comfort by utilizing stretch fabrics, but fabric elasticity alone makes it difficult to provide customized adjustments for different body types. While some products add adjustment features by applying waistbands or elastic panels, this approach can compromise design consistency and limits overall fit improvement as adjustments are limited to specific areas. Therefore, there is a need to provide optimal comfort through more innovative design and new manufacturing technologies.
[0006] To address this, the present invention proposes a women's trouser garment and a manufacturing method capable of simultaneously improving fit and size compatibility. By utilizing an adjustable pattern design that flexibly responds to body curves and an innovative material combination that provides a variable fit, the garment is designed to provide a comfortable fit for various body types. Furthermore, by applying precise pattern analysis and an automated customized production method during the manufacturing process, the invention enables the efficient production of products optimized for the individual body shape of consumers. Through this, it is expected that customized fashion trends can be reflected and consumer satisfaction maximized, while simultaneously increasing the productivity and efficiency of the manufacturer.
[0007] Therefore, there is a need for women's trousers with improved fit and size compatibility, and technology for a method of manufacturing the same. Prior art literature

[0035] The features of each of the various embodiments of the present invention may be combined or combined with one another, either partially or wholly, and as will be fully understood by those skilled in the art, various technical interlocking and operation are possible, and each embodiment may be implemented independently of one another or together in an interlocking relationship.
[0036] The present invention relates to women's trousers with improved fit and size compatibility, and a method for manufacturing the same. Conventional trousers have a problem in that the fit varies depending on the body shape, and it is difficult to satisfy various body types with a single size. To solve this, the present invention applies a pattern design that provides a more flexible fit based on a structure including a front fabric section, a back fabric section, and a waistline. In addition, to enhance mobility, a material with reinforced elasticity and durability is utilized to provide a comfortable fit.
[0037] The manufacturing method of the present invention consists of a total of six processes. First, a customized pattern is formed through a first process of drawing and cutting a pattern, and a second process is performed to produce a front fabric section, a back fabric section, and a waistline based on this. Subsequently, the third and fourth processes are performed to sew and connect the front fabric section and the back fabric section, respectively. Next, a fifth process is performed to combine the front fabric section and the back fabric section, and finally, a completed pair of pants is produced through a sixth process to sew and connect the waistline. Through these processes, a balanced fit can be maintained on various body types.
[0038] In particular, the present invention forms an adjustable protrusion at the waistline to allow the waist circumference to be adjusted to fit the wearer's body shape. To this end, a sewing line is formed at a specific location on the upper part of the front fabric, and a structure is applied in which that area is folded and fixed together with the waistline. In addition, a pad receiving section equipped with a knee pad is configured to enhance knee protection, and by allowing the pad height to be adjusted, a structure optimized for the wearer's body shape and activity level is provided.
[0039] Finally, in the manufacturing process of the present invention, the durability is improved and deformation of the fabric is minimized through a fabric pretreatment process. The fiber structure is stabilized by immersion in water, and through air injection and finishing processes, the fabric is made to maintain its shape while providing a soft touch. By combining these technical elements, the present invention enables the effective manufacturing of women's pants that offer excellent comfort and size adjustment.
[0040] According to one embodiment, a method for manufacturing women's pants with improved mobility and fit, comprising a pair of front fabric sections (11), a pair of back fabric sections, and a waistline (12) sewn on the upper part of the front fabric sections (11) and back fabric sections, comprises: a first step (S100) of drawing and cutting a pattern of the women's pants; a second step (S200) of cutting a predetermined fabric based on the pattern to produce a pair of front fabric sections (11), a pair of back fabric sections, and a waistline (12); a third step (S300) of sewing the pair of front fabric sections (11) together to connect them; a fourth step of sewing the pair of back fabric sections together to connect them; and a fifth step (S500) of sewing the front fabric sections (11) and back fabric sections together to connect them. and a sixth process (S600) of sewing and connecting the waistline (12) along the upper opening formed by the connection of the front fabric portion (11) and the back fabric portion.
[0041] In the description regarding the ‘front fabric portion (11) and the back fabric portion,’ if the expression ‘a pair’ is written, it may mean an interaction between a pair of front fabric portions (11) or a pair of back fabric portions, or a configuration / stage, etc., in a combined state of a pair of front fabric portions (11) or a pair of back fabric portions, and if the expression ‘a pair’ is not written, it may mean a configuration / stage, etc., for each of a pair of front fabric portions (11) or a pair of back fabric portions.
[0042] Here, 'pattern' may refer to the term 'pattern' commonly used in clothing manufacturing.
[0043] In the above description, the front fabric portion (11) and the back fabric portion are: the fabric portion located in front of the wearer when the pants are worn relative to the wearer is the front fabric portion (11), and the fabric portion located behind the wearer is the back fabric portion.
[0044] In the above description, the term 'waistline (12)' refers to a fabric portion that is folded and sewn at the top of the front fabric portion (11) and the back fabric portion, and may mean the area where the belt rests when wearing the belt. However, in the description of the prior art, the process of sewing the belt strap, etc., was omitted.
[0045] Here, the waistline (12) can be interpreted to include both an embodiment consisting of a single waistline (12) and an embodiment consisting of a pair of waistlines (12) as described below.
[0046] The above third process (S300) may include: a step of forming a protrusion by sewing at least two pairs of points at the first upper line (L) of the front fabric portion (11).
[0047] As described above, at least two pairs of points on the front fabric portion (11) can be sewn in the third process (S300) to form a predetermined 'tuck (16)' on the pants.
[0048] A pair of points may refer to two points, and a protrusion may be formed by sewing the front fabric portion (11) in a folded state so that two points separated by a predetermined distance are joined together. The process of forming the protrusion may be performed based on a pattern as shown in FIG. 1.
[0049] As the back pattern corresponding to the back fabric portion can be drawn and cut according to general garment manufacturing techniques, the drawing has been omitted.
[0050] The above 6th process (S600) includes the step of sewing the waistline (12) while the protrusion formed on the front fabric portion (11) is folded outward (D) from the center of the women's pants; thereby enabling the manufacture of women's pants having a plurality of tucks formed on the front fabric portion (11) below the waistline (12).
[0051] Since the points formed by the above protrusions may be a factor that reduces aesthetic appeal, the waistline (12) can be sewn in a covered state as described above so that the top of the protrusions is covered and concealed.
[0052] The above-described chin formed according to the above process can be extended upward to a predetermined height above the knee portion of the pants.
[0053] Additionally, the first process (S100) comprises: a step of drawing and cutting a front pattern (P1) corresponding to the front fabric portion (11); a step of drawing and cutting a back pattern corresponding to the back fabric portion; and a step of drawing and cutting a waist pattern corresponding to the waistline (12); wherein the step of drawing and cutting the waist pattern comprises: a step of drawing and cutting a first waist pattern based on a first upper length of the pair of front fabric portions (11) so that it can be sewn to the top of the pair of front fabric portions (11); The method includes the step of drawing and cutting a second waist pattern based on the second upper length of the pair of back fabric parts so that it can be sewn to the upper part of the pair of back fabric parts; and the women's pants are configured such that when the protrusions are not released, both ends of the first waistline (12) cover both ends of the second waistline (12), and when all the protrusions are released, the first upper length and the length of the first waistline (12) may be aligned.
[0054] In other words, when the upper length of the front fabric portion (11) is a, the length of a pair of front fabric portions (11) is greater than 2a, so 'first upper length >= 2a', and accordingly, 'first waistline (12) length >= 2a'.
[0055] In the above description, 'state in which all protrusions have been released' may mean a state in which the protrusions are removed by removing the sewing lines (threads) constituting the protrusions.
[0056] In other words, it may mean that the waist size (circumference of the upper opening) of the above women's pants has become wider.
[0057] According to the configuration of the women's pants as described above, when the protrusion is maintained, the end of the zipper provided on the side of the pants (one of the connection points between the front fabric part (11) and the back fabric part) can be concealed by the first waistline (12), so that the zipper handle is not visible from the outside. When wearing the pants, the wearer can operate the zipper with the end of the first waistline (12) folded, and after wearing, can unfold the end of the first waistline (12) again to conceal the zipper handle.
[0058] When the above protrusion is released, the end of the first waistline (12) that concealed the zipper handle is pulled forward, so that the positions of both ends of the first waistline (12) and both ends of the second waistline (12) can be adjusted to coincide.
[0059] Here, the waistline (12) may be configured to be sewn at multiple points on the upper side of the front fabric portion (11) so that the wearer can fold or unfold it.
[0060] And, the second process (S200) comprises: a step of attaching a predetermined hem hook to the front fabric portion (11) and the back fabric portion so as to face upward from the bottom of the front fabric portion (11) and the back fabric portion; and a step of attaching a plurality of hem pads having a predetermined curved surface at predetermined intervals from above the hem hook to the front fabric portion (11) and the back fabric portion; and the sixth process (S600) comprises: a step of folding the hem of the women's pants inward and fixing the hem hook to one side of the hem pad located at the bottommost of the hem pads; thereby, women's pants capable of adjusting the inseam length by changing the fixing position of the hem hook can be manufactured.
[0061] Generally, the aesthetics of jeans are not compromised even when rolled up; however, in the case of women's trousers, rolling them up can sometimes detract from the appearance, so the wearer has the trouser hem altered to fit their leg length.
[0062] However, according to one embodiment of the prior art, by folding the hem of the pants inward, the folded part is not exposed to the outside unlike in a roll-up, and since the new bottom of the pants formed by the fold line maintains its original shape by the hem pad, the length of the pants can be easily adjusted without compromising aesthetics, such as wrinkles caused by folding.
[0063] In addition, the first process (S100) may further include the step of drawing a knee pattern (P2) in a shape that is received in the lower region from the upper end of the inseam length of the front pattern (P1).
[0064] The above knee pattern (P2) is a pattern corresponding to the knee fabric part described later.
[0065] As shown in FIG. 1, the knee pattern (P2) can be drawn in the form of a cut portion of the front pattern (P1).
[0066] The second process (S200) above may include: a step of cutting the front fabric portion (11) based on the front pattern (P1); a step of cutting the back fabric portion based on the back pattern; a step of cutting the waistline based on the waist pattern; and a step of cutting the knee fabric portion based on the knee pattern (P2).
[0067] A pair of the above knee fabric sections are each sewn together to a pair of front fabric sections (11) and can be positioned on the inside of the women's pants when the wearer wears the women's pants.
[0068] At this time, the knee fabric portion may be located in the 'inseam' area of the trousers.
[0069] The above third process (S300) includes: a step of placing knee pads (13) on each of the pair of front fabric portions (11); and a step of sewing the knee fabric portions to the front fabric portions (11) to form a pad receiving portion so that the knee pads (13) are received in the pad receiving portion, thereby enabling the manufacture of women's pants equipped with a predetermined knee pad (13).
[0070] The above knee pad (13) may be composed of a plastic plate having a certain rigidity.
[0071] The knee pad (13) provided on the inner side of the pad receiving portion above performs the function of supporting / fixing the knee portion of the women's pants so that it does not protrude.
[0072] According to the third process (S300) as described above, the knee pad (13) can be accommodated so that it is not exposed to the outside of the women's pants.
[0073] And, the knee pad (13) is formed in a rectangular shape with a vertical length relatively longer than the horizontal length, and is received in multiple units in each of a pair of pad receiving portions, and the step of forming the pad receiving portions includes: positioning the knee pads (13) at the top of the pad receiving portions; sewing the pad receiving portions in a vertical direction so that the knee pads (13) are separated from each other; sewing the pad receiving portions in a horizontal direction at the bottom of the knee pads (13) to form a first pad receiving compartment (15) so that the knee pads (13) do not deviate downwards; and sewing the pad receiving portions below the first pad receiving compartments (15) in a horizontal direction to continuously form a plurality of second pad receiving compartments (15) having the same height as the first pad receiving compartments (15), thereby allowing the height of the knee pads (13) to be adjusted by releasing the horizontal sewing line (14) of the first pad receiving compartments (15) and the second pad receiving compartments (15).
[0074] At this time, as shown in FIG. 2, the knee pad (13) can be formed into a rectangular shape with a length that is relatively longer than the width, and multiple pads can be accommodated in each of the pair of pad receiving portions so that they can be seated along the curved surface of the front part of the wearer's leg.
[0075] As the above knee pads (13) are seated along the curved surface of the wearer's leg, the knee pads (13) are not visible from the outside when worn, and the wearer does not feel any strangeness caused by the knee pads (13).
[0076] The wearer can adjust the height of the knee pad (13) by releasing the horizontal seam (14) of the first pad receiving compartment (15) and the second pad receiving compartment (15) when necessary.
[0077] As shown in FIG. 2, the horizontal seam (14), indicated in the form of a dotted line, can be removed from the women's pants by the wearer when necessary. After the horizontal seam (14) is removed, the wearer can move the knee pad (13) directly, or the knee pad (13) will naturally move down to the lower position of the removed seam (14) by its own weight.
[0078] The wearer can use the knee pad (13) without moving it for a short period after purchasing the women's pants (the knee pad (13) is positioned above the knee), and then adjust the position of the knee pad (13) to fit their body shape only when necessary.
[0079] At this time, the above horizontal seam (14) can be sewn by basting or running stitching so that it can be easily removed.
[0080] The form shown in FIG. 2 (a) is the state of women's pants at the time of shipment according to an embodiment of the prior art, and the form shown in FIG. 2 (b) is the state in which the wearer removes the first horizontal seam (14) and the knee pads (13) are lowered one notch.
[0081] In addition, the additional process (fabric pretreatment process) of the second process (S200) for pretreating the first fabric part (front fabric part, back fabric part and waistline, etc.) (1) is described in detail.
[0082] After cutting the fabric, perform the following steps for each of the first fabric sections.
[0083] The second process above may include: a step of immersing the first fabric portion in water at a temperature of 30 to 40 degrees; a first finishing step of finishing the first fabric portion for a first time while the first fabric portion is immersed in water; a step of fixing the first fabric portion to a first roller and rotating the first roller; a step of injecting air at a temperature of 30 to 50 degrees through an inlet formed on the rotation axis of the first roller and spraying air onto the first fabric portion through pores formed on the outer surface of the first roller; a step of spraying air onto the first fabric portion at a position spaced apart from the first roller by a predetermined distance; a second finishing step of finishing the first fabric portion for a second time while the first roller is rotating; and a third finishing step of finishing the first fabric portion for a third time in a drying chamber maintained at a temperature of 30 to 50 degrees and a relative humidity of 20% to 40%.
[0084] In the step of immersing the first fabric part (1) in water at 30 to 40 degrees; the first fabric part (1) may be immersed so that it is completely submerged in the water.
[0085] At this time, the water may be ordinary water such as pure water, bottled water, or tap water, but depending on the embodiment, it may be a liquid containing a washable processing solution.
[0086] In the first finishing step, in which the first fabric part (1) is finished for a first time while the first fabric part (1) is immersed in water, the first fabric part (1) is finished (beaten) and impregnated with water, and the first fabric part (1) is treated so that it spreads out without clumping or wrinkling.
[0087] In the step of fixing the first fabric part (1) to the first roller (21) and rotating the first roller (21), the first fabric part (1) is removed from the water and the first fabric part (1) is fixed to the first roller (21) located in the air.
[0088] Here, a member such as a clamp may be used to fix the first fabric part (1) to the first roller (21).
[0089] Subsequently, a step of injecting air at a temperature of 30 to 50 degrees through an injection port formed on the rotation axis of the first roller (21) and spraying air into the first fabric part (1) through a pore formed on the outer surface of the first roller (21); a step of spraying air into the first fabric part (1) at a position spaced apart from the first roller (21) by a predetermined distance; and a second finishing step of finishing the first fabric part (1) during a second time while the first roller (21) rotates; may be performed simultaneously.
[0090] The water component impregnated in the first fabric part (1) is removed (dehydrated) through the above air injection process, and the first fabric part is trimmed through the second trimming step so that the first fabric part does not clump or wrinkle.
[0091] In the third finishing step, the first fabric part (1) is finished for a third time in a drying chamber maintained at a temperature of 30 to 50 degrees and a relative humidity of 20% to 40%; the first fabric part (1) is separated from the first roller (21) and finishing is performed simultaneously with drying in the drying chamber.
[0092] At this time, it is desirable to maintain the above temperature and humidity so that the first fabric part (1) is not deformed or damaged by heat or humidity.
[0093] The drying speed may be very slow at temperatures below the above temperature range and humidity above the above humidity range, and deformation of the first fabric part (1) may occur at temperatures above the above temperature range and humidity below the above humidity range.
[0094] Additionally, the second finishing step may include: a step of rotating the second roller (22), which rotates coaxially and is spaced apart from the first roller (21) by a predetermined distance, in a direction opposite to the rotation direction of the first roller (21), so that a plurality of elastic pads (23) attached to the outer surface of the second roller (22) alternately contact the first fabric part (1).
[0095] In the above description, 'coaxial rotation' means rotation in which the directions of the rotation axes are parallel to each other. In other words, the rotation axes of the first roller (21) and the second roller (22) are parallel to each other, but they can be spaced apart by a predetermined distance so that the outer surfaces of the first roller (21) and the second roller (22) do not come into contact with each other.
[0096] If a total of four elastic pads (23) are arranged on the second roller (22) at 90-degree intervals around the second roller (22), then when the second roller (22) rotates one full turn, the four elastic pads (23) can each come into contact with the first fabric part (1) once, for a total of four times.
[0097] Since auxiliary components such as bearings and motors for fixing or rotating the first roller (21) and the second roller (22) can be easily implemented by referring to the description of the prior art, a detailed description thereof is omitted.
[0098] The third finishing step may include: a step of placing a plurality of the first fabric parts (1) on a predetermined conveyor belt (31), transporting them for a fourth time, and repeating the process of stopping the transport for a fifth time; and a step of repeatedly striking the first fabric parts (1) with a mesh pad (39) located on the upper part of the conveyor belt (31) along the direction of travel of the conveyor belt (31) during the fifth time when the transport of the first fabric parts (1) is stopped.
[0099] At this time, the first fabric portion (1) can be placed (seated) on the conveyor belt (31) in a well-unfolded state without a part being folded.
[0100] The above elastic pad (23) is composed of a predetermined elastic material that bends upon contact with the first fabric part (1) and returns to its original state when separated from the first fabric part (1), and can be formed to have a length equal to the distance from the center of the second roller (22) to the center of the first roller (21).
[0101] According to this configuration, the elastic pad (23) strikes the first fabric part (1) with a predetermined load, and as a reaction to this, bends in the opposite direction and passes through the first roller (21) according to the rotation of the second roller (22), and the process of the next elastic pad (23) contacting (striking) the first fabric part (1) is repeated.
[0102] The first fabric portion (1) struck by the above elastic pad (23) is spread out without clumping, and the impregnated water, etc. is removed, and dehydration / drying is performed simultaneously.
[0103] The above mesh pad (39) may be composed of: a rim that forms a predetermined closed curve and is made of a material having a predetermined rigidity to press the first fabric portion (1); and a predetermined rib fixed to the inner side of the rim.
[0104] According to the configuration of the mesh pad (39) as described above, the first fabric portion (1) can be uniformly pressed / trimmed, and water can be dehydrated through the space between the ribs configured in the form of a pressure mesh.
[0105] In addition, since the air inside the drying chamber comes into contact with the first fabric part (1) even while the mesh pad (39) pressurizes the first fabric part (1), drying can be continued while the first fabric part (1) passes through the conveyor belt (31).
[0106] Additionally, the third finishing step is performed by a drive unit that moves the mesh pad (39) up and down in a reciprocating motion; the drive unit comprises: a rack gear (32) which is positioned above the conveyor belt (31) and extends parallel to the direction of travel of the conveyor belt (31), and in which a first gear surface (321) in which gear teeth are formed and a second gear surface (322) in which gear teeth are not formed are repeatedly formed; a pinion gear (33) connected to the rack gear (32) to mesh with the first gear surface (321) of the rack gear (32); a transmission gear (34) that receives power from the pinion gear (33) and shifts gears; and a camshaft (35) that receives power from the transmission gear (34). A driving cam (36) formed to have a predetermined nose (360) on one side of the camshaft (35) to convert the rotational motion of the camshaft (35) into a predetermined linear reciprocating motion; a driven cam (37) that contacts the outer surface of the driving cam (36) and is formed to have a circular cross-section without a nose, and moves linearly reciprocating in the up and down direction according to the rotation of the camshaft (35); a support (38) that extends from the bottom of the driven cam (37) and has the mesh pad (39) fixed to its bottom; the
[0107] A rail providing a path for the driven cam (37) to move in a straight reciprocating motion in the up-and-down direction; a guide protruding from both sides of the driven cam and seated on the rail; and a linear actuator that moves the rack gear in a straight reciprocating motion in the left-and-right direction; wherein the mesh pad (39) may be configured to repeatedly strike or stop striking the first fabric part (1) according to the operation of the linear actuator.
[0108] Hereinafter, the operation process of the above-mentioned driving unit will be explained with reference to FIG. 5.
[0109] According to the linear reciprocating motion of the linear actuator, the rack gear (32) reciprocates from one end to the other end so as to contact the pinion gear.
[0110] At this time, since the conveyor belt (31) operates and the first raw material part (1) is being transported during the fourth time, it is preferable that the pinion gear be configured to pass through the second gear surface (322) during the fourth time to correspond to this.
[0111] On the other hand, since the conveyor belt (31) is stopped during the fifth time period and the transport of the first raw material section (1) is stopped, it is preferable that the pinion gear (33) be configured to pass through the first gear surface (321) during the fifth time period.
[0112] According to the configuration of the first gear surface (321) and the second gear surface (322), the support (38) stops at the top during the fourth time period and performs an up-and-down reciprocating motion during the fifth time period.
[0113] Meanwhile, detailed descriptions of structures such as rack gears, pinion gears, and transmission gears are omitted so as not to obscure the essence of the invention.
