[0027] FIG. 1 is a drawing for explaining an overview of a wearable device worn on a user's body according to one embodiment.
[0028] Referring to FIG. 1, in one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may be a device worn on the body of a user (U) to assist the user (U) in walking, exercising, and / or working. In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may be used to measure the physical abilities of the user (U) (e.g., walking ability, exercise ability, exercise posture). The user (U) may be a person or an animal, but is not limited thereto. The wearable device (100) may be worn on the body of the user (U) (e.g., lower body (legs, ankles, knees, etc.), upper body (torso, arms, wrists, etc.), or waist) to apply an external force of assistance force and / or resistance force to the user (U)'s body movements. Assistance force is a force applied in the same direction as the user (U)'s body movement and represents a force that assists the user (U)'s body movement. Resistance refers to a force that acts in the opposite direction to body movement, hindering it and thereby increasing exercise intensity. The term 'resistance' may also be referred to as 'exercise load'.
[0029] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may operate in a walking assistance mode that assists the walking of a user (U). In the walking assistance mode, the wearable device (100) may assist walking by applying an assisting force generated from a driving module (82) to the body of the user (U). By assisting the force required for the user (U) to walk, the wearable device (100) may enable independent walking or enable walking for a long time, thereby improving walking ability. The wearable device (100) may also help improve the walking of a pedestrian whose walking habits or walking posture are abnormal.
[0030] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may operate in an exercise assistance mode to enhance the exercise effect of the user (U). In the exercise assistance mode, the wearable device (100) may control the exercise intensity by applying resistance generated from the drive module (82) to the user (U)'s body to hinder body movement or by adjusting and providing the strength of the resistance. If the wearable device (100) is a hip-type wearable device worn on the user (U)'s waist (or pelvis) and legs (e.g., thighs), the wearable device (100) may further enhance the exercise effect by providing an exercise load to the user (U)'s leg movements while worn on the legs. In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may apply an assistive force to the user (U)'s body to assist the user (U)'s exercise. For example, when a person with a disability or an elderly person wants to exercise by wearing a wearable device (100), the wearable device (100) may provide assistive force to help with physical movement during the exercise. In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may provide assistive force and resistance in combination for exercise segments or time segments, such as providing assistive force in some exercise segments and providing resistance force in other exercise segments.
[0031] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may operate in a physical ability measurement mode to measure the physical ability of a user (U). The wearable device (100) may measure the user's movement information using sensors (e.g., angle sensor (92), inertial measurement unit (IMU) (93)) provided in the wearable device (100) while the user is walking or exercising, and may evaluate the user's physical ability based on the measured movement information. For example, the user's walking indicators or exercise ability indicators (e.g., muscle strength, endurance, balance, exercise motion) may be estimated through the user's movement information measured by the wearable device (100). The physical ability measurement mode may include an exercise motion measurement mode for measuring the user's exercise motion.
[0032] In various embodiments of the present disclosure, a hip-type wearable device (100) as shown in FIG. 1 is described as an example for convenience of explanation, but is not limited thereto. As described above, the wearable device (100) may be worn on other body parts (e.g., upper arm, forearm, hand, calf, foot) other than the waist and legs (particularly the thigh), and the shape and configuration of the wearable device may vary depending on the body part on which it is worn.
[0033] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may include a proximal wearable part (e.g., waist fastener (81)), a distal wearable part (e.g., thigh fastener (84)), and a leg frame (83). In one embodiment, the waist fastener (81) may be worn on the user's waist, and the thigh fastener (84) may be worn on the user's thigh. The leg frame (83) may transmit power generated by the drive module (82) to the thigh fastener (84). The thigh fastener (84) may move relative to the waist fastener (81) through the power received from the drive module (82).
[0034] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may include a support frame (e.g., waist fastening part (81) of FIG. 3, leg frame (83)) for assisting the body movement of the user (U) when the wearable device (100) is worn on the body of the user (U), a sensor module for acquiring sensor data including movement information regarding the body movement of the user (U) (e.g., leg movement, upper body movement), a driving module (82) for generating torque applied to the legs of the user (U) (e.g., driving module (82) of FIG. 3), and a control module (91) for controlling the wearable device (100).
[0035] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may include an angle sensor (92) for measuring the joint angle of the user and an inertial measurement device (93) for measuring changes in acceleration and rotational velocity according to the body movement of the user (U). The angle sensor (92) may measure the rotation angle (or angular velocity) of the leg frame of the wearable device (100) corresponding to the hip joint angle value of the user (U). The rotation angle of the leg frame measured by the angle sensor (92) may be estimated as the hip joint angle value (or leg angle value) of the user (U). The angle sensor (92) may include, for example, an encoder and / or a Hall sensor. In one embodiment, the angle sensor (92) may be located near the left hip joint and near the right hip joint of the user (U), respectively. The inertial measurement device (93) may include an acceleration sensor and / or an angular velocity sensor (e.g., a gyroscope sensor) and may measure changes in acceleration and / or angular velocity (or rotational speed) according to the movement of the user (U). The inertial measurement device (93) may measure the upper body movement value of the user (U) corresponding to, for example, the movement value of the wearable device (100). The movement value of the connection frame measured by the inertial measurement device (93) may be presumed to be the upper body movement value of the user (U). In this specification, the term 'inertial measurement device' may also be referred to as an 'inertial sensor'.
[0036] In one embodiment, the control module (91) and the inertial measurement device (93) may be placed within the base body of the wearable device (100) (e.g., the main body (11) of FIG. 3). The base body may be positioned at the lumbar region (waist area) of the user (U) while the user (U) is wearing the wearable device (100). The base body may be formed or attached to the outside of the connecting frame of the wearable device (100). The base body may be mounted at the lumbar region of the user (U) to provide cushioning to the user's waist and may support the user's waist together with the connecting frame.
[0037] FIG. 2 is a drawing for explaining an exercise management system including a wearable device and an electronic device according to one embodiment.
[0038] Referring to FIG. 2, the exercise management system (70) may include a wearable device (100) worn on a user's body, an electronic device (71), another wearable device (72), and a server (73). In one embodiment, at least one of these devices (e.g., another wearable device (72) or the server (73)) may be omitted from the exercise management system (70), or one or more other devices (e.g., a dedicated controller device for the wearable device (100)) may be added.
[0039] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) can be worn on the user's body in a walking assistance mode to assist the user's movement. For example, the wearable device (100) can be worn on the user's leg to assist the user's walking by generating an assisting force to assist the user's leg movement.
[0040] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may apply to the user's body by generating a resistance force to hinder the user's body movement or an assistive force to help the user's body movement in order to enhance the user's exercise effect in an exercise assistance mode. In an exercise assistance mode, the user may select an exercise program (e.g., squat, split lunge, dumbbell squat, lunge and knee up, stretching, etc.) and / or an exercise intensity applied to the wearable device (100) using the wearable device (100) through an electronic device (71). The wearable device (100) may control the driving module of the wearable device (100) according to the exercise program selected by the user and acquire sensor data including the user's movement information through a sensor module. The wearable device (100) may adjust the strength of the resistance force or assistive force applied to the user according to the exercise intensity selected by the user. For example, the wearable device (100) can control the drive module to generate resistance corresponding to the exercise intensity selected by the user.
[0041] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) may be used to measure the user's physical ability in conjunction with an electronic device (71). The wearable device (100) may operate in a physical ability measurement mode, which is a mode for measuring the user's physical ability under the control of the electronic device (71), and may transmit sensor data acquired by the user's movement in the physical ability measurement mode to the electronic device (71). The electronic device (71) may estimate the user's physical ability by analyzing the sensor data received from the wearable device (100).
[0042] In one embodiment, the electronic device (71) can communicate with the wearable device (100) and can remotely control the wearable device (100) or provide status information to the user regarding the state of the wearable device (100) (e.g., booting state, charging state, sensing state, error state). The electronic device (71) can receive sensor data acquired by the sensors of the wearable device (100) from the wearable device (100) and can estimate the user's physical ability or exercise results based on the received sensor data. In one embodiment, when the user wears the wearable device (100) and exercises, the wearable device (100) can acquire sensor data including the user's movement information using sensors and transmit the acquired sensor data to the electronic device (71). The electronic device (71) can extract the user's movement value from the sensor data and evaluate the user's exercise movement based on the extracted movement value. The electronic device (71) can provide the user with exercise motion measurement values and exercise motion evaluation information regarding the user's exercise motion through a graphical user interface.
[0043] In one embodiment, the electronic device (71) may execute a program (e.g., an application) for controlling the wearable device (100), and the user may adjust the operation of the wearable device (100) or the torque intensity output from a setting value (e.g., the driving module (82) of FIG. 3), the volume of audio output from a sound output module, a light unit, etc. through the program. For example, the electronic device (71) may include a portable communication device (e.g., a smartphone), a computer device, an access point, a portable multimedia device, or a home appliance (e.g., a television, an audio device, a projector device), but is not limited to the aforementioned devices.
[0044] In one embodiment, the electronic device (71) may be connected to a server (73) using short-range wireless communication or cellular communication. The server (73) may receive user profile information of a user using the wearable device (100) from the electronic device (71) and may store and manage the received user profile information. The user profile information may include information on at least one of, for example, name, age, gender, height, weight, or BMI (body mass index). The server (73) may receive exercise history information regarding exercises performed by the user from the electronic device (71) and may store and manage the received exercise history information. The server (73) may provide the electronic device (71) with various exercise programs or physical ability measurement programs that may be provided to the user.
[0045] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) and / or the electronic device (71) may be connected to another wearable device (72). The other wearable device (72) may be, for example, a wireless earphone (722), a smartwatch (724), smart glasses (726), or a smart ring (728), but is not limited to the aforementioned devices. In one embodiment, the smartwatch (724) may measure a biosignal including a user's heart rate information and transmit the measured biosignal to the electronic device (71) and / or the wearable device (100). For example, the wearable device (100) may provide visual feedback through a light unit and auditory feedback through an acoustic output module. The wearable device (100) may include a haptic module and may provide tactile feedback in the form of vibration to the user's body through the haptic module. The electronic device (71) may also provide (or output) feedback (e.g., visual feedback, auditory feedback, tactile feedback) corresponding to the state of the wearable device (100).
[0049] In one embodiment, the electronic device (71) may present a personalized exercise goal to the user in an exercise assistance mode. The personalized exercise goal may include an exercise volume target value for each type of exercise (e.g., strength training, balance training, aerobic training) that the user wishes to perform, determined by the electronic device (71) and / or the server (73). When the server (73) determines the exercise volume target value, the server (73) may transmit information regarding the determined exercise volume target value to the electronic device (71). The electronic device (71) may present the exercise volume target values for the types of strength training, aerobic training, and balance training in a personalized manner according to the exercise program (e.g., squat, split lunge, lunge and knee-up) and / or the user's physical characteristics (e.g., age, height, weight, BMI). The electronic device (71) may display a GUI screen on the display indicating the exercise volume target value for each type of exercise.
[0050] In one embodiment, the electronic device (71) and / or server (73) may include a database storing information on a plurality of exercise programs that can be provided to a user through a wearable device (100). To achieve the user's exercise goals, the electronic device (71) and / or server (73) may recommend an exercise program suitable for the user. The exercise goals may include, for example, at least one of improving muscle strength, improving muscular fitness, improving cardiovascular endurance, improving core stability, improving flexibility, or improving symmetry. The electronic device (71) and / or server (73) may store and manage the exercise programs performed by the user and the results of the exercise programs performed.
[0051] In one embodiment, the electronic device (71) can evaluate the user's walking ability in conjunction with the wearable device (100). For example, the electronic device (71) can estimate a gait index, which is an indicator representing the user's walking state, based on sensor data obtained from a sensor module of the wearable device (100) worn by the user. The gait index can serve as a measure to judge the quality of walking performed by the user. The gait index estimated by the electronic device (71) may include, for example, at least one of walking speed, step time, step length, stride length, walking distance, gait symmetry index, gait variability index, or walk ratio. The electronic device (71) can calculate the gait index in real time while the user is walking while wearing the wearable device (100).
[0052] In one embodiment, when a user is walking (or exercising) while wearing a wearable device (100), the wearable device (100) can acquire sensor data containing movement information related to the user's walking using sensors and can transmit the acquired sensor data to an electronic device (71). The electronic device (71) can estimate the user's walking evaluation information based on the sensor data and provide the estimated walking evaluation information to the user. The walking evaluation information may include, for example, various walking indicators related to the user's walking (e.g., walking speed, step time, stride length, walking symmetry index, walking variation index, walking ratio) when the user walks while wearing the wearable device (100). The electronic device (71) may provide feedback information to the user to improve the user's walking state based on the walking evaluation information. For example, if the electronic device (71) determines that the user's measured stride length is smaller than a desired stride length, it may suggest that the user walk with a wider stride length.
[0053] In one embodiment, the wearable device (100) and the electronic device (71) can estimate walking indicators, such as walking speed, by using the angle sensor (e.g., angle sensor (92)) and the inertial measurement unit (e.g., inertial measurement unit (93)) of the wearable device (100) without using a GPS (global positioning system) sensor for tracking the user's location, so walking indicators can be estimated not only outdoors but also indoors. In addition, the wearable device (100) and the electronic device (71) can estimate walking indicators even when the user walks in a fixed position, such as on a treadmill, and can estimate walking indicators by reflecting the individual characteristics of the user. The electronic device (71) can provide evaluation information regarding the user's walking state to the user using the wearable device (100), thereby increasing the user's interest in walking or exercise.

The sensor module may include, for example, an inertial measurement device (e.g., the inertial measurement device (93) of FIG. 1) for measuring the user's upper body movement value or the movement value of the slider (12), and an angle sensor (e.g., the angle sensor (92) of FIG. 1) for measuring the user's hip joint angle value or the movement value of the leg frame (83), but is not limited thereto. For example, the sensor module may further include at least one of a position sensor, a temperature sensor, a biosignal sensor, or a proximity sensor.
[0060] In one embodiment, the waist frame (813) may be connected to a drive module (82). The waist frame (813) may wrap around at least a portion of the user's waist. The waist frame (813) may be formed of an elastic material. When the user intends to wear the wearable device (100), the waist frame (813) may be bent outward and the waist passed through the space between the pair of waist frames (813), and the waist frame (813) may be restored to its original position. Here, outward is the direction away from the user's body when the user is wearing the wearable device (100). The waist frame (813) may include a material that is more rigid than the waist belt (814). The waist frame (813) may support the waist belt (814).
[0061] In one embodiment, the waist belt (814) may be positioned in front of the user's waist. One end of the waist belt (814) is connected to one waist frame (813), and the other end of the waist belt (814) may be detachably connected to another waist frame (813) through a buckle structure or the like.
[0062] In one embodiment, the driving module (82) may generate an external force (or torque) applied to the user's body based on a control signal generated by the control module. For example, the driving module (82) may generate an assisting force or a resistance force applied to the user's leg. In one embodiment, the driving module (82) may be located at a position corresponding to the user's hip joint. The driving module may include an actuator and a joint member. The actuator may provide power transmitted to the joint member. The actuator may include a motor that generates power (or torque) by receiving power from a battery. When the motor is powered and driven, it may generate a force (assisting force) to assist the user's body movement or a force (resistance force) to hinder body movement. In one embodiment, the control module may adjust the voltage and / or current supplied to the motor to control the strength and direction of the force generated by the motor.
[0063] In one embodiment, the joint member receives power from an actuator and can apply external force to the user's body based on the received power. The joint member may be positioned at a location corresponding to the user's joint. One side of the joint member may be connected to the actuator, and the other side may be connected to the leg frame (83). The joint member may be rotated by the power received from the actuator. An encoder or a Hall sensor capable of operating as an angle sensor for measuring the rotation angle of the joint member (corresponding to the user's joint angle) may be positioned on one side of the joint member.
[0064] In one embodiment, the actuator may be positioned on the side of the joint member. The rotation axis of the actuator and the rotation axis of the joint member may be positioned so as to be spaced apart from each other. However, this is not limited thereto, and the actuator and the joint member may share a rotation axis. In one embodiment, the actuator may be positioned spaced apart from the joint member. In this case, the driving module (82) may further include a power transmission module (not shown) that transmits power from the actuator to the joint member. The power transmission module may be a rotating body such as a gear, or a longitudinal member such as a wire, cable, string, spring, belt, or chain. However, the scope of the embodiment is not limited by the positional relationship between the actuator and the joint member and the power transmission structure described above.
[0065] In one embodiment, the leg frame (83) may be positioned along the user's leg (e.g., thigh) when the wearable device (100) is worn on the user's leg. The leg frame (83) may transmit power (torque) generated, for example, from the drive module (82) to the user's thigh. The power generated from the drive module (82) may act as an external force applied to the user's leg movement. As one end of the leg frame (83) is connected to a joint member and may rotate, and the other end of the leg frame (83) is connected to a thigh fastening member (84), the leg frame (83) may transmit power generated from the drive module (82) to the user's thigh. For example, the leg frame (83) may push or pull the user's thigh. The leg frame (83) may extend along the longitudinal direction of the user's thigh. The leg frame (83) may be folded to wrap around at least a portion of the user's thigh circumference. The upper part of the leg frame (83) can cover the side of the thigh, and the lower part of the leg frame (83) can cover the front of the thigh. The central part of the leg frame (83) can have a twisted shape.
[0066] In one embodiment, the thigh fastening portion (84) is connected to the leg frame (83), and the leg frame (83) can be fixed to the thigh.
[0067] FIG. 5 is a perspective view illustrating a size adjuster according to one embodiment.
[0068] Referring to FIG. 5, the size adjuster (1) is designed to allow size adjustment to fit the user's body, and is configured to allow adjustment of the width in the y-axis direction in particular. For example, the user can adjust the width of the size adjuster (1) to improve the wearing comfort and secure a more appropriate fit. In addition, the size adjuster (1) is designed so that the user can easily adjust the size even while wearing a wearable device.
[0069] In one embodiment, the size adjuster (1) includes a main body (11), a slider (12), a cam (13), and a lever (14) as main components.
[0070] In one embodiment, the main body (11) supports a pair of sliders (12) and is designed to be worn near the user's back. One side of the main body (11) is positioned facing the user's back and is located between the two sides of the sliders (12). Additionally, the pair of sliders (12) may be symmetrically positioned around the main body (11).
[0071] In one embodiment, the slider (12) is connected to the main body (11) and is designed to have two states. In the locked state, the slider (12) is fixed to the main body (11) and its movement is restricted, and in the adjustable state, the slider (12) is switched to be movable relative to the main body (11). When the slider (12) is in the locked state, it is firmly fixed to the main body (11) to assist the user wearing the wearable device in maintaining a stable fit even during exercise. On the other hand, when the slider (12) is switched to the adjustable state, it is configured to change its position and posture relative to the main body (11) or to slide in the y-axis direction.
[0072] In one embodiment, a change in posture refers to a state in which the slider (12) adjusts its direction in the xy plane or rotates around a rotation axis parallel to the z-axis. Accordingly, the user can set an optimal wearing state by moving the slider (12) or adjusting its angle as needed. Additionally, a pair of sliders (12) can each operate independently, and the user may switch only one slider (12) to an adjustment state to move it, or switch both sliders (12) to an adjustment state simultaneously to move them symmetrically.
[0073] In one embodiment, the cam (13) is rotatably connected to the slider (12) and is a key element for controlling the state of the slider (12). When the slider (12) is in a locked state, the cam (13) engages with the main body (11) to restrict the movement of the slider (12), thereby maintaining a stable fixed state. On the other hand, when the slider (12) is switched to an adjustable state, the cam (13) is separated from the main body (11) to enable the movement of the slider (12). The cam (13) is located inside the main body (11) and performs the role of precisely controlling the operation of the slider (12).
[0074] In one embodiment, the lever (14) is located outside the main body (11) and provides an operating function to allow the user to easily switch the state of the slider (12). The lever (14) is connected to the cam (13) through a string (not shown), and the lever (14) and the cam (13) exchange force with each other through the string to achieve synchronized movement. The lever (14) may be positioned at the location furthest from the main body (11), and the user can operate the lever (14) to move the cam (13), thereby changing the state of the slider (12) to a locked or adjusted state.
[0075] In one embodiment, the size adjuster (1) is structured to include a main body (11), a slider (12), a cam (13), and a lever (14), and is designed so that the user can easily and quickly adjust the size even while wearing the wearable device. In addition, through the independent adjustment function of the slider (12) and the locking mechanism via the cam (13), a stable fit can be maintained even during exercise, and user convenience is maximized.
[0076] FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a size adjuster according to one embodiment. FIG. 7 is a perspective view illustrating a main body according to one embodiment. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a size adjuster according to one embodiment.
[0077] Referring to FIGS. 6 to 8, the size adjuster (1) is designed to allow size adjustment to fit the user's body. The user can adjust the width of the size adjuster (1) to improve the fit and secure a more appropriate fit, and can easily adjust the size of the size adjuster (1) even while wearing a wearable device. The size adjuster (1) may include a main body (11), a slider (12), a cam (13), a lever (14), a cam elastic (15), a string (16), and a lever elastic (17).
[0078] In one embodiment, the main body (11) may accommodate at least a portion of each of a pair of sliders (12). The main body (11) may include a body base (111), a body head (112), a body cover (113), a body rod (114), a support rod (115), and a fixing member (116).
[0079] In one embodiment, the body base (111) can support the slider (12) and may include an opening groove (111a) formed by a recess to facilitate changing the position of the slider (12), a plurality of body grooves (111b) for accommodating at least a portion of the slider (12), and a body magnet (111c) located on the inside of the body base (111).
[0080] In one embodiment, the body grooves (111b) may be provided in multiple numbers and may be arranged in the y-axis direction. The width of the size adjuster (1) in the y-axis direction may be determined according to the position of the groove among the multiple body grooves (111b) in which the slider (12) is received. For example, three body grooves (111b) are shown in FIG. 8, and the slider (12) is received in the leftmost body groove (111b). In this case, the width of the size adjuster (1) may be relatively narrow. On the other hand, if the slider (12) is received in the rightmost body groove (111b), the width of the size adjuster (1) may increase. The position, arrangement, and spacing of the body grooves (111b) are not limited to those shown in FIG. 8.
[0081] In one embodiment, the body magnet (111c) may interact with the slider magnet (12a) provided on the slider (12). The body magnet (111c) and the slider magnet (12a) may exert an attractive force on each other, thereby stably maintaining the combined state of the main body (11) and the slider (12). The body magnet (111c) may be provided in a position that overlaps the body groove (111b), and the body magnet (111c) and the body groove (111b) may overlap each other with respect to the x-axis direction. According to this structure, when the slider (12) is in a locked state, the positions of the body magnet (111c) and the slider magnet (12a) are close together, allowing them to exert a strong attractive force on each other. The number, arrangement, and spacing of the body magnets (111c) are not limited to those shown in FIG. 8.
[0082] In one embodiment, the body head (112) may be positioned at a location spaced apart from the body base (111) and may be located on the opposite side of the body base (111) with respect to the slider (12). The body head (112) may include a head groove (112a) formed by a recess to facilitate changing the position of the slider (12). When the slider (12) is in a locked state, the head groove (112a) may have an inclined surface such that the distance from the slider (12) increases as it moves toward the cam (13).
[0083] In one embodiment, the body cover (113) can connect the body base (111) and the body head (112) and may be provided as a pair. The pair of body covers (113) may be located opposite each other with respect to the body base (111) and the body head (112), with one body cover (113) located at the top of the body base (111) and the body head (112), and the other body cover (113) located at the bottom of the body base (111) and the body head (112).
[0084] In one embodiment, the body rod (114) may be connected to the body head (112) and may support the cam (13). When the slider (12) is in a locked state, the cam (13) is provided in a state of surface contact with the body rod (114) and its movement may be restricted. When the cam (13) rotates relative to the slider (12), the cam (13) may be separated from the slider (12).
[0085] In one embodiment, the support rod (115) can connect the body base (111) and the body rod (114) and can improve the structural stability of the main body (11) by supporting the central part of the body rod (114). The support rod (115) can be positioned between a pair of sliders (12) and can prevent the sliders (12) from moving excessively in the y-axis direction. For example, referring to FIG. 8, the support rod (115) can prevent the sliders (12) from moving excessively in the -y direction.
[0086] In one embodiment, the fixing member (116) can fix the main body (11) and the support rod (115). For example, the fixing member (116) may be a screw.
[0087] In one embodiment, the slider (12) may include a slider body (121), a slider head (122), a slider groove (123), a first slider base (124), and a second slider base (125). The slider (12) is configured to be coupled with the main body (11) to adjust the width of the size adjuster (1) and performs the function of assisting the user's movement.
[0088] In one embodiment, the slider body (121) may have a bent plate shape and may be accommodated in the main body (11). The slider body (121) may include a sliding part having a straight shape, a bending part extending from the sliding part having a bent shape, and a side part extending from the bending part having a straight shape again. This structure is designed to allow the slider (12) to move stably within the main body (11) and to naturally conform to the user's waist curve.
[0089] In one embodiment, a first body hole (121a) and a second body hole (121b) may be formed in the slider body (121) to receive a string (16). The first body hole (121a) may be formed in the sliding part, and the second body hole (121b) may be formed in the side part. The string (16) may pass through the first body hole (121a) and the second body hole (121b) to be connected to the cam (13) and the lever (14). According to this structure, the cam (13) and the lever (14) may be located on the inner side of the slider body (121), and the central part of the string (16) may be placed on the outer side of the slider body (121). This prevents the string (16) from coming into direct contact with the body when the user wears it, thereby improving the wearing comfort.
[0090] In one embodiment, the slider head (122) may be formed to protrude from the slider body (121) and may be received in one of the plurality of body grooves (111b). The slider head (122) may include a shape that becomes progressively narrower as it moves away from the slider body (121). This structure facilitates the insertion and removal of the slider (12) and allows it to be stably fixed at a specific position. A slider magnet (12a) may be provided on the inner side of the slider head (122), which interacts with the body magnet (111c) to maintain the position of the slider (12).
[0091] In one embodiment, the slider groove (123) may be formed as a recess on the outer surface of the slider body (121). Here, the inner surface of the slider body (121) refers to the surface facing the user's waist, and the outer surface refers to the surface opposite to the inner surface. The slider groove (123) serves to accommodate the string (16) and can prevent the string (16) from unnecessarily interfering with the user's body. Additionally, by preventing the string (16) from protruding outward, discomfort during wear can be minimized.
[0092] In one embodiment, the first slider base (124) may be formed extending from the slider body (121) and serves to support the cam (13). For example, the first slider base (124) may be formed extending from the sliding part of the slider body (121). The cam (13) may be rotatably connected to the first slider base (124), and when the slider (12) is in a locked state, the cam (13) may be maintained in contact with the main body (11).
[0093] In one embodiment, the second slider base (125) may be formed to extend from the side part of the slider body (121) and serves to support the lever (14). Through this, the lever (14) can be rotatably connected to the slider (12), and a user can control the movement of the cam (13) by operating the lever (14).
[0094] In one embodiment, the cam (13) may include a cam body (131), a cam shaft (132), and a cam hole (133). The cam body (131) may be connected to the cam shaft (132) and may be rotatably coupled. The cam body (131) may have a hole for receiving the cam shaft (132) and may make surface contact with the body rod (114). Additionally, a string (16) may be fixed to the cam body (131), and when the cam (13) rotates relative to the slider (12), the cam (13) may be separated from the slider (12).
[0095] In one embodiment, the cam shaft (132) may be connected to the cam body (131) and may be formed parallel to the z-axis direction. The longitudinal direction of the cam shaft (132) may intersect the y-axis direction, which is the sliding direction of the slider (12), thereby allowing the rotation of the cam (13) to be linked with the movement of the slider (12).
[0096] In one embodiment, the cam hole (133) can accommodate a portion of the string (16) and allows the string (16) to be stably maintained when the cam (13) is operated.
[0097] In one embodiment, the lever (14) may include a lever body (141), a lever shaft (142), and a lever hole (143). The lever body (141) may be connected to the lever shaft (142) and may be rotatably coupled. The lever body (141) has a hole for receiving the lever shaft (142), and a string (16) may be fixed to the lever body (141).
[0098] In one embodiment, the lever shaft (142) may be connected to the lever body (141) and may be formed parallel to the z-axis direction. The longitudinal direction of the lever shaft (142) may intersect the y-axis direction, which is the sliding direction of the slider (12). This allows the state of the slider (12) to be switched when the lever (14) rotates.
[0099] In one embodiment, the lever hole (143) can accommodate a portion of the string (16) and maintain the position of the string (16) when the lever (14) is operated.
[0100] In one embodiment, the cam elastic (15) can apply a restoring force to the cam (13), and one end of the cam elastic (15) may be fixed to the slider (12) and the other end may be fixed to the cam (13). When no external force is applied, the cam (13) may be maintained in contact with the main body (11) by the cam elastic (15). The cam elastic (15) may be a spring.
[0101] In one embodiment, the string (16) serves to connect the cam (13) and the lever (14), and allows the operation of the lever (14) to affect the movement of the cam (13).
[0102] In one embodiment, the lever elastic body (17) can apply a restoring force to the lever (14), and one end of the lever elastic body (17) may be fixed to the slider (12) and the other end may be fixed to the lever (14). This allows the lever (14) to be restored to its original state when the force applied by the user to the lever (14) is removed. The lever elastic body (17) may be a spring.
[0103] Through the above structure, the slider (12) is designed to assist the user's movement while being stably fixed and effectively performing the function of a size adjuster.
[0104] FIG. 9 is a partial enlarged view of a size adjuster according to one embodiment.
[0105] Referring to FIG. 9, the cam (13) may include a cam body (131) and a cam shaft (132). The cam body (131) may include a first cam surface (131a) positioned apart from the body rod (114) when the slider (12) is in a locked state, and a second cam surface (131b) maintained in a state of surface contact with the body rod (114).
[0106] In one embodiment, the first cam surface (131a) and the second cam surface (131b) may be located opposite each other based on an auxiliary line connecting the center of the cam shaft (132) and the surface of the body rod (114) closest to the cam shaft (132). That is, the shape and arrangement of the cam body (131) may serve to restrict rotation of the cam (13) in a specific direction.
[0107] According to this structure, when the slider (12) is in a locked state, the cam (13) can be configured to rotate in the direction of arrow A but not in the direction of arrow B. Through this, the cam (13) is designed to allow rotation in only one direction, thereby preventing the slider (12) from unintentionally coming loose when the user uses the wearable device.
[0108] In addition, as the cam (13) is formed to rotate only in a specific direction, the movement of the slider (12) can be effectively controlled, and the stability and durability of the size adjuster (1) can be further improved.
[0109] FIG. 10 is an enlarged perspective view of a part of a size adjuster according to one embodiment.
[0110] Referring to FIG. 10, the first slider base (124) may be formed extending from the slider body (121), and the cam (13) may be rotatably connected to the first slider base (124). The cam (13) may include a cam body (131) and a cam shaft (132), and the cam shaft (132) may be inserted into the first slider base (124).
[0111] In one embodiment, the cam elastic (15) may serve to provide a restoring force when the cam (13) rotates, and may be formed in a structure in which the central part surrounds the cam shaft (132). One end (151) of the cam elastic (15) may be fixed to the cam body (131), and the other end (152) may be fixed to the slider body (121). This allows the cam (13) to be restored to its original position after rotating in a specific direction.
[0112] In one embodiment, the string (16) can be fixed to the cam (13) and can perform the role of controlling the rotational movement of the cam (13) through connection with the lever (14). Through this structure, the state of the slider (12) is effectively switched, and the user can use the size adjuster (1) more stably and conveniently.
[0113] FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a cam of a size adjuster separated from a main body according to one embodiment. FIG. 12 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a slider of a size adjuster with its orientation changed relative to the main body according to one embodiment.
[0114] Referring to FIGS. 11 and 12, the respective rotational axes of the cam (13) and the lever (14) may be arranged parallel to the z-axis direction. The string (16) is a component that enables the interlocking action of the cam (13) and the lever (14) and may include a string body (161), a first section (162), and a second section (163). The first section (162) of the string (16) may be fixed to the cam (13), and the second section (163) may be fixed to the lever (14).
[0115] In one embodiment, the main body (11) may include a body base (111) and a body rod (114), and the body rod (114) may provide a structure in which the cam (13) makes surface contact in a locked state.
[0116] In one embodiment, when a user applies a force (F) to the lever (14), the lever (14) can be rotatably operated. As the lever (14) rotates, this force is transmitted to the cam (13) through the string (16). The cam (13) can rotate in the direction of arrow A by the force transmitted from the string (16), and in this process, the cam (13) can be separated from the body rod (114).
[0117] Through this structure, the user can switch the state of the slider (12) by operating only the lever (14), and can effectively control the movement of the cam (13) to easily perform the locking and unlocking functions of the size adjuster (1).
[0118] Afterward, the user can rotate the slider (12) in the direction of arrow M1. At this time, the slider (12) can rotate on the xy plane, thereby adjusting the position of the slider (12) relative to the main body (11).
[0119] In one embodiment, the rotation of the slider (12) enables more precise adjustment according to the user's body structure and wearing condition, and can contribute to improving the wearing comfort of the wearable device. Additionally, when the slider (12) moves in the y-axis direction while rotating, the overall width of the size adjuster (1) can be changed, thereby providing an optimal fit tailored to the user's body shape.
[0120] Through these structural features, users can easily adjust the size even while wearing the wearable device, and customized adjustments tailored to individual body conditions become possible.
[0121] FIG. 13 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a slider of a size adjuster according to one embodiment sliding relative to a main body. FIG. 14 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a slider of a size adjuster according to one embodiment with its position changed relative to a main body. FIG. 15 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a state in which an external force applied to a lever of a size adjuster according to one embodiment is released.
[0122] Referring to FIGS. 13 through 15, the respective rotational axes of the cam (13) and the lever (14) may be arranged parallel to the z-axis direction. The cam (13) and the lever (14) are connected via a string (16), and the string (16) may act as a component that harmoniously controls the operation of the cam (13) and the lever (14). The string (16) may include a string body (161), a first section (162), and a second section (163), wherein the first section (162) is fixed to the cam (13) and the second section (163) is fixed to the lever (14). This allows the operation of the lever (14) to be transmitted to the cam (13).
[0123] In one embodiment, the user can adjust the position of the slider (12) relative to the main body (11) by moving the slider (12) in the direction of the arrow (M2). The direction of the arrow (M2) may be parallel to the y-axis, in which case the width of the size adjuster (1) may increase as the slider (12) moves. This allows the user to adjust the size of the size adjuster as needed to optimize the fit.
[0124] In one embodiment, when the slider (12) is moved to a position desired by the user, the user can move the slider (12) again in the direction of the arrow (M3) so that a part of the slider (12) is received in the body base (111). This allows the slider (12) to be fixed more stably and the adjustment of the size adjuster can be completed.
[0125] Afterward, the user can remove their hand from the lever (14) to remove the external force. As the external force is removed, the lever (14) can be restored to its initial state by the restoring force of the lever elastic body (17). When the lever (14) is restored, the cam (13) linked to the lever (14) also returns to its initial state and can come into contact with the body rod (114) again.
[0126] This series of processes is designed to enable stable adjustment while the user operates the size adjuster (1), and to automatically restore it to its initial state after the adjustment is completed. Through this, the user can use the size adjuster intuitively and conveniently, and can easily adjust the fit of the wearable device.
[0127] FIG. 16 is a perspective view of a size adjuster according to one embodiment. FIG. 17 is a cross-sectional view of a size adjuster according to one embodiment.
[0128] Referring to FIGS. 16 and 17, the size adjuster (2) may include a main body (21) (e.g., the main body (11) of FIG. 5), a slider (22) (e.g., the slider (12) of FIG. 5), a cam (23) (e.g., the cam (13) of FIG. 5), and a lever (24). In this case, the lever (24) may be located at the bottom of the slider (22) and may be designed to be easily operated by the user.
[0129] For example, the rotation axis of the lever (24) can be formed in a direction parallel to the y-axis. This structure allows the rotation direction of the lever (24) to be operated more intuitively and allows the user to easily switch the state of the slider (22).
