Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a method for producing an eco-friendly adhesive wallpaper for thermal wallpaper with the tunneling phenomenon eliminated. The method utilizes an HDPE release liner to eliminate the tunneling phenomenon, which occurs when the rolled adhesive wallpaper is unfolded. Since the HDPE release liner is deformed by high heat, the adhesive is not applied and laminated in a heated chamber; instead, the HDPE release liner is laminated at room temperature. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, wallpaper is applied to a wall surface to protect and decorate it. It is applied over a base layer and has various patterns printed on paper or cloth, and is also formed from wall cloth or vinyl chloride sheets woven to be applied to the wall from the beginning.

[0003] Conventional wallpaper consists of a base paper layer formed to be attached to a wall surface, a synthetic resin coating layer formed on top of the base paper layer, and a printing layer forming patterns, designs, and colors on top of the coating layer.

[0004] Wallpaper coated using synthetic resin in this manner is called synthetic resin wallpaper or silk wallpaper, and uncoated wallpaper is called laminated wallpaper.

[0005] Recently, adhesive wallpaper is being sold that allows for wallpapering without the need for paste by forming an adhesive layer at the bottom of the base layer of the silk wallpaper.

[0006] Regarding conventional adhesive wallpaper, Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 2721217, filed and registered by the applicant of the present application, discloses technology related to "a method for producing an eco-friendly moisture-supplying type water-based adhesive wallpaper and the adhesive wallpaper."

[0007] In a general water-based adhesive wallpaper comprising a base paper layer formed from base paper, an adhesive layer applied to the bottom of the base paper layer, a release paper layer formed to the bottom of the adhesive layer, a synthetic resin coating layer formed to the top of the base paper layer, and a printing layer forming a pattern, design, and color formed to the top of the coating layer, wherein the base paper layer is formed such that the moisture content of the base paper is 1 to 15%, the moisture used when applying moisture to the base paper is prepared by mixing PVA resin and water in an 8:2 weight ratio and diluting the mixed resin to 2 weight% per liter of water, the base paper of the base paper layer is formed by mixing 40 to 60 weight% pulp, 10 to 30 weight% synthetic resin yarn, 10 to 30 weight% coating raw material, 1 to 3 weight% additive, and 3 to 5 weight% water, and then applying pressure, and the adhesive used in the adhesive layer is an acrylic copolymer per 100 weight% of water It is formed by mixing 50~60% by weight, using one with an adhesive strength in the range of 350~1,000kg / 25mm.

[0008] Mural wallpaper refers to wallpaper with a pattern printed directly onto a non-woven fabric (substrate). By printing on the surface of the substrate of the mural wallpaper, the entire wall can be transformed into a scene resembling a fairy tale or a masterpiece according to the theme, allowing for a unique interior design.

[0009] In conventional adhesive wallpaper, since the adhesive is formed on the back of the wallpaper, a release liner is laminated to the adhesive.

[0010] The above-mentioned release liner is formed from paper or non-woven fabric, and its surface is coated with PET or the like to protect the adhesive while allowing it to be easily peeled off (hereinafter referred to as 'paper release liner').

[0011] However, when producing and distributing adhesive wallpaper, it is wound into a roll form because it is very long. When wound in this way, due to the sequential difference in the diameter of the winding, the end of the released paper protrudes longer than the end of the wallpaper at the end of the wound state, as shown in Fig. 1.

[0012] As described above, the protrusion of the edges is caused by the release liner being pushed out due to the adhesive between the wallpaper and the release liner. When unfolded, it does not return to its original state completely, causing wrinkles to form on the surface of the wallpaper. This phenomenon is called the tunnel effect.

[0013] As described above, even if tunneling occurs, removing the paper release liner and applying it to a wall or ceiling does not cause significant problems. However, if it is produced as a mural wallpaper by printing on the surface of the unfolded adhesive wallpaper, there were problems such as the print head malfunctioning or the print quality deteriorating due to wrinkles. The problem to be solved

[0014] When using conventional adhesive wallpaper for murals, the following problems occur.

[0015] (1) When wallpaper and paper release liner are wound with adhesive, the paper release liner is pushed out along the adhesive boundary due to the sequential difference in diameter, and a step is created at the end.

[0016] (2) When unfolding rolled adhesive wallpaper for use, a tunneling phenomenon occurs on the surface, causing wrinkles, making it difficult to use.

[0017] (3) When the rolled adhesive wallpaper is unfolded, there are wrinkles on the surface due to tunneling, so when printing, the wrinkles damage the print head or the printing quality is poor, making it difficult to use as mural wallpaper.

[0018] (4) If the release liner is produced very thin, it will deform due to heat. Therefore, when the release liner is coated with adhesive and laminated with wallpaper and passed through a dryer, the release liner will deform and will not be able to perform its function as a release liner. means of solving the problem

[0019] In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a wallpaper manufacturing step of moving a base paper through a roller and forming a plurality of layers by coating a coating agent for printing on the surface;

[0020] A wallpaper adhesive application step of applying an adhesive to the bottom of the wallpaper and passing it through a heated chamber;

[0021] A release liner preparation step for preparing HDEP release liner;

[0022] A lamination step for laminating the bottom of the wallpaper coming out of the above adhesive application step with the release liner;

[0023] It is characterized by comprising a winding step for winding the adhesive wallpaper completed in the above lamination step.

[0024] A preferred embodiment of the present invention is a produced adhesive wallpaper formed to enable real-image printing on its surface;

[0025] An adhesive applied to the bottom of the above wallpaper;

[0026] The lower part of the above adhesive is composed of a release liner that is easily separated from the adhesive,

[0027] The above release liner is composed of HDPE and is characterized by having a thickness of 10 to 50 μm. Effects of the invention

[0028] According to the method for producing an eco-friendly adhesive wallpaper for murky wallpaper with the tunneling phenomenon removed, formed as a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the following effects occur.

[0029] (1) A very thin HDPE release liner is attached to the surface of the adhesive and acts as a release liner, but when wound, it becomes integrated with the adhesive and wrinkles form on the HDPE release liner itself, so the HDPE release liner does not slide.

[0030] (2) When the rolled adhesive wallpaper is unfolded for use, wrinkles form on the thin HDPE release liner, but no wrinkles form on the surface of the wallpaper.

[0031] (3) Since tunneling does not occur on the surface of the wallpaper, there is no damage to the print head when printing on the surface of the wallpaper, and the printing quality is excellent.

[0032] (4) The thickness of the HDPE release liner is 10 to 50 μm, and since it is laminated with wallpaper at room temperature, no deformation occurs. Brief explanation of the drawing

Specific details for implementing the invention

[0034] Before describing specific embodiments of the present invention, the size or shape of the components may be expressed in a somewhat exaggerated or simplified manner to explain the invention more clearly.

[0035] Since the terms defined in this invention are arbitrarily defined or optionally used by the user, operator, and author, these terms should be interpreted in a sense and concept consistent with the technical spirit of the invention based on the entire content of this specification, and should not be limited to the meaning of the terms themselves.

[0036] A preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a wallpaper formed to enable realistic printing on its surface;

[0037] An adhesive applied to the bottom of the above wallpaper;

[0038] The lower part of the above adhesive is composed of a release liner that is easily separated from the adhesive,

[0039] The above release liner is an HDPE release liner composed of HDPE, and is formed with a thickness of 10 to 50 μm.

[0040] The above-mentioned real-image print refers to printing in high definition and in real time on the surface of a fabric such as non-woven fabric or paper.

[0041] The above wallpaper may have a water-soluble substance applied to the top of a fabric formed of paper or non-woven fabric to enable good printing.

[0042] The above adhesive is formed by mixing 55 to 65 weight percent of acrylic copolymer and 1 to 2 weight percent of emulsifier per 100 weight percent of water.

[0043] If the content of acrylic copolymer in the above adhesive is less than 55% by weight, the adhesiveness decreases, making it impossible to function as an adhesive wallpaper, and if the content is added in excess of 65% by weight, the adhesive strength increases excessively when adhering, making it difficult to reattach and modify.

[0044] The adhesive strength of the above adhesive is most suitable to be in the range of 500 to 1,200 kg / 25 mm when attached to silk wallpaper.

[0045] The adhesive strength of the above adhesive is measured according to the KS A 1107 method, and is expressed as a value measured according to the test method for adhesive tapes and adhesive sheets of the Republic of Korea.

[0046] The above HDPE release liner is formed from HDPE material and has a thickness of 10 to 50 μm.

[0047] If the above HDPE release liner is produced and applied with a thickness of less than 10㎛, not only will the cost increase significantly, but it will also be too thin to perform its role as a release liner effectively, and if it is produced with a thickness exceeding 50㎛, tunneling will begin to occur in some areas, which reduces the effectiveness of removing tunneling.

[0048] Conventional paper release paper is formed with a thickness almost equal to that of the substrate, so when wound, slippage occurs between the wallpaper and the release paper due to the adhesive depending on the sequential difference in winding diameter, and wrinkles occur on the surface of the substrate when unfolded. However, the HDPE release paper of the present invention is very thin and becomes one with the adhesive, so wrinkles occur in the HDPE release paper, and wrinkles do not occur on the surface of the wallpaper when unfolded.

[0049] HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), the material of the aforementioned HDPE release liner, is a strong and highly durable thermoplastic made from petroleum and is widely used in various fields.

[0050] The above HDPE release liner can be produced to a thickness of several micrometers and is robust, exhibiting excellent performance in protecting the surface even in a thin state.

[0051] The above HDPE release liner can be used as Moorim Paper produced by Moorim Paper Co., Ltd., and is an eco-friendly release liner formed from pulp, cellulose, calcium carbonate, kaolin, and water.

[0053] The conventional method of attaching paper release liner when producing adhesive wallpaper is

[0054] A wallpaper manufacturing step of moving base paper through rollers and forming multiple layers by coating a coating agent for printing on the surface;

[0055] A release liner preparation step for preparing a paper release liner;

[0056] An adhesive application step of applying an adhesive to the top of the above-mentioned paper release liner and passing it through a heated chamber;

[0057] A lamination step of laminating the upper part of the above paper release liner and the lower part of the wallpaper;

[0058] It consists of a winding step for winding the adhesive wallpaper completed in the above lamination step.

[0059] However, since the HDPE release liner of the present invention is formed of very thin HDPE and becomes deformed and cannot adhere when passed through a heated chamber, the present invention presents a new production method.

[0061] The production method of the present invention is

[0062] A wallpaper manufacturing step of moving base paper through rollers and forming multiple layers by coating a coating agent for printing on the surface;

[0063] A wallpaper adhesive application step of applying an adhesive to the bottom of the wallpaper and passing it through a heated chamber;

[0064] A release liner preparation step for preparing HDEP release liner;

[0065] A lamination step for laminating the bottom of the wallpaper coming out of the above adhesive application step with the release liner;

[0066] It consists of a winding step for winding the adhesive wallpaper completed in the above lamination step.

[0067] In other words, since the shape of the HDPE release liner is distorted when passing through a heated chamber, the production method is changed so that the adhesive is first applied to the bottom of the wallpaper and then passed through a heated chamber to produce adhesive wallpaper suitable for mural wallpaper.

[0069] In addition, as another embodiment of the present invention, a method for producing adhesive wallpaper is

[0070] A wallpaper manufacturing step of moving base paper through rollers and forming multiple layers by coating a coating agent for printing on the surface;

[0071] A release liner preparation step of preparing a paper release liner and applying an adhesive to one side of the paper release liner;

[0072] A release liner attachment step in which an adhesive is applied to the bottom of the wallpaper in a heated chamber while laminating and drying the paper release liner;

[0073] A release liner preparation step for preparing HDEP release liner;

[0074] A separation step for separating the above paper release liner and wallpaper;

[0075] A lamination step of laminating an HDPE release liner to the bottom of the wallpaper from which the above paper release liner has been removed;

[0076] It consists of a winding step for winding the adhesive wallpaper completed in the above lamination step.

[0077] As described above, due to the HDPE release liner formed from thin HDPE, the HDPE release liner itself absorbs the sequential difference in coil diameter as wrinkles, thereby eliminating the tunneling phenomenon that causes wrinkles on the surface of the substrate.

[0078] According to the method for producing an eco-friendly adhesive wallpaper for wallpaper with tunneling removed, formed as a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a very thin HDPE release liner is attached to the surface of the adhesive and performs the role of a release liner, but when wound, it becomes integrated with the adhesive and wrinkles occur in the HDPE release liner itself, so the HDPE release liner does not slip, and when the wound adhesive wallpaper is unfolded for use, wrinkles occur in the thin HDPE release liner, so wrinkles do not occur on the surface of the wallpaper, and since tunneling does not occur on the surface of the wallpaper, not only is there no damage to the print head when printing on the surface of the wallpaper, but the printing quality is excellent, the thickness of the HDPE release liner is formed to be 10 to 50 μm, and since it is laminated with the wallpaper at room temperature, effects such as no deformation occur are produced.

[0080] Although the present invention has been described with reference to preferred embodiments, it is evident to those skilled in the art that various modifications are possible from this description without departing from the scope of the invention as encompassed by the claims set forth below.
