Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a modular mold that minimizes replacement parts even when the mold design is changed due to a change in electrode specifications. More specifically, it relates to a modular mold that saves costs and time in mold manufacturing by allowing only the minimum necessary parts to be modularized and easily replaced even when the electrode specifications change, while the remaining parts can be used as they are without changing their shape. Background Technology
[0003] Batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles are required to have high charge-discharge efficiency and excellent durability, and various battery manufacturing technologies are being developed to meet these requirements. In particular, batteries are constructed by stacking positive and negative plates, and these plates are critical components that store and release energy through electrochemical reactions. Tabs are formed on the plates to connect with battery cells, and the shape and dimensions of these tabs significantly influence the battery's performance and assembly process.
[0004] Generally, manufacturing electrode tabs requires processing thin metal sheets to cut them into a specific shape. This process utilizes a notching process, and a cutting die is essential for performing this operation.
[0005] The process of a cutting die generally proceeds as follows. First, a thin metal sheet is supplied to a designated position via a transfer device. Subsequently, a guide inside the die aligns the electrode plate to the correct position, and a punch descends to cut a specific part of the electrode plate. The cut electrode plate is separated from the die by a stripper, and any scrap remaining after cutting is removed through a separate discharge path. The processed electrode plate then moves to the subsequent assembly process.
[0006] A traditional cutting die includes a punch, a die, a stripper, and a base. The punch is responsible for cutting the electrode plate and is primarily made of high-hardness metal. The die works in conjunction with the punch and determines the cutting quality by serving as a supporting component that allows the electrode plate to be cut into the desired shape. The stripper presses the electrode plate down after cutting to prevent it from sticking to the punch, ensuring a stable cut. The base supports the entire die structure.
[0007] Conventional cutting dies used in the battery manufacturing process have a structure that cuts electrode plates using punches and dies of fixed shapes. Since these conventional dies are designed to match specific electrode plate specifications, a problem arises where new dies must be manufactured and replaced if the shape or specifications of the electrode plate change. This results in the following problems.
[0008] Conventional cutting dies used in battery manufacturing processes utilize punches and dies of fixed shapes to cut electrode plates. Since these existing dies are designed to match specific electrode plate specifications, a problem arises where new dies must be manufactured and replaced if the shape or specifications of the plates change. As dies are expensive components requiring high-precision machining, the cost burden of producing new dies to accommodate new electrode plate specifications is significant.
[0009] Furthermore, mold replacement is time-consuming and can lead to production line shutdowns, resulting in a decrease in overall productivity. While electrode plate manufacturers must modify specifications to meet diverse customer demands, flexible production is difficult because existing molds are designed for specific shapes.
[0010] Furthermore, existing molds must be discarded when they can no longer be used, which causes problems resulting in resource waste and environmental burden.
[0011] In conventional technology, a mechanism capable of adjusting the position of the die is applied to change the shape of the electrode plate; however, this method has the disadvantage of being structurally complex, making maintenance difficult, and having a limited adjustment range.
[0012] In particular, there is a possibility of reduced precision during the process of adjusting the die position, and additional correction is required to maintain consistent quality. Furthermore, the mechanical complexity of the adjustment mechanism raises concerns regarding the risk of component wear and malfunction, and there is a disadvantage of increased maintenance costs. [0015] To solve the aforementioned problems, the objective of the present invention is to provide a modular mold that saves the cost and time of mold manufacturing by allowing only the minimum necessary parts to be modularized and easily replaced even when the specifications of the electrode are changed, while the remaining parts can be used as they are without changing their shape.
[0016] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a modular mold that allows the upper base and punch holder to be used as they are even when the punch is changed, by further comprising a punch sub-holder that connects the punch to be fixed to the upper mold, forming a fifth upper bolt hole in the punch sub-holder, which is a connection hole with the punch, to fit a punch with changed specifications, and manufacturing the upper base without changing the position of the fourth upper bolt hole, which is a connection hole with the upper base.
[0017] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a modular mold that allows for convenient verification of the assembly state between a punch and a punch sub-holder by forming an upper hole penetrating vertically in an upper base, forming a first upper bolt hole which is a fastening hole with a punch sub-holder along the outer edge of the upper hole, and forming a fifth upper bolt hole in the punch sub-holder inwardly from the fourth upper bolt hole, thereby exposing the fourth upper bolt hole which is a fastening hole between the punch and the punch sub-holder through the upper hole while maintaining the coupling position of the upper base and the punch sub-holder.
[0018] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a modular mold that maximizes versatility by forming a sub-receiving hole in a punch holder, and fixing the punch sub-holder—which is designed to change according to the punch—so that its outer size matches the sub-receiving hole regardless of the design change of the punch, thereby eliminating the need for replacement of the punch holder.
[0019] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a modular mold in which a die receiving hole is formed in the die holder of the lower mold, and the shape of the die discharge hole is changed according to the design of the punch, while the outer size thereof is matched to the die receiving hole, so that the lower base and the die holder can be used universally regardless of changes in the specifications of the electrode. means of solving the problem
[0021] To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the present invention comprises: an upper base (110) having an upper hole (111) formed therein that penetrates the upper and lower portions; a punch holder (120) bolted to the bottom surface of the upper base (110) and having a sub-receiving hole (121) formed therein that penetrates the upper and lower portions and is arranged to communicate with the upper hole (111); a punch sub-holder (130) formed in a block shape and arranged to be coupled to or separated from the sub-receiving hole (121); a punch (140) coupled to or separated from the punch sub-holder (130); a stripper (150) that moves up and down along a lifting post (152) coupled to the upper base (110) through the punch holder (120) and has a punch receiving hole (151) formed therein for receiving the punch (140); and a lower base (210) having a lower hole (213) formed therein that penetrates the upper and lower portions. It includes: a die holder (220) that is bolted to the upper surface of the lower base (210) and has a die receiving hole (221) penetrating the upper and lower portions arranged to be in communication with the lower hole (213); and a die (230) that is arranged to be coupled to or separated from the die receiving hole (221), is formed in a plate shape, and has an discharge hole (231) formed inside that corresponds to the shape of the punch (140).
[0022] In addition, the upper surface of the punch sub-holder (130) of the present invention is formed to be larger than the upper hole (111) of the upper base (110), and a fourth upper bolt hole (131), which is a fastening hole with the upper base (110), is formed in an area belonging to the outer side of the upper hole (111); and a first upper bolt hole (112), which is a fastening hole with the punch sub-holder (130), is formed along the outer edge of the upper hole (111) in the upper base (110) and communicates with the fourth upper bolt hole (131).
[0023] In addition, in the punch sub-holder (130) of the present invention, the fifth upper bolt hole (132), which is a fastening hole with the punch (140), is not covered by the upper base (110) and is exposed to the outside through the upper hole (111).
[0024] In addition, when the punch (140) is replaced due to a change in the specifications of the electrode of the present invention, the position of the sixth upper bolt hole (141), which is the connection hole between the punch (140) and the punch sub-holder (130), is changed, and the position of the fifth upper bolt hole (132), which is the connection hole between the punch (140) and the punch sub-holder (130), is changed, but the outer size of the punch sub-holder (130) is fixed and the position of the fourth upper bolt hole (131) is fixed without change, so the punch holder (120) and the upper base (110) are not replaced.
[0025] In addition, a die (230) is manufactured to form an ejection hole (231) corresponding to the punch (140) replaced according to the specification change of the electrode of the present invention, and the outer size thereof is matched to the die receiving hole (221) of the die holder (220), so that the manufactured die (230) is inserted into the die receiving hole (221) without replacing the die holder (220).
[0026] In addition, a fourth lower bolt hole (232) formed along the outer edge of the discharge hole (231) of the die holder (220) of the present invention is connected to the second lower bolt hole (215) of the lower base (210) and bolted to the die (230) inserted into the die receiving hole (221) of the die holder (220) of the present invention; the fourth lower bolt hole (232) is fixed at a predetermined position regardless of the shape of the discharge hole (231) that is changed. Effects of the invention
[0028] The modular mold according to the present invention allows for easy replacement by modularizing only the minimum necessary parts even when the specifications of the electrode are changed, and since the remaining parts can be used as they are without changing their shape, it has the effect of saving costs and time in mold manufacturing.
[0029] In addition, the present invention further comprises a punch sub-holder connected to be fixed to an upper mold, and forms a fifth upper bolt hole, which is a connection hole with the punch, in the punch sub-holder to match a punch with changed specifications, and manufactures the upper base and punch holder without changing the position of the fourth upper bolt hole, which is a connection hole with the upper base, thereby having the advantage of being able to use the upper base and punch holder as they are even when the punch is changed.
[0030] In addition, the present invention has the advantage of forming an upper hole that penetrates vertically in the upper base, forming a first upper bolt hole that serves as a fastening hole with the punch sub-holder along the outer edge of the upper hole, and forming a fifth upper bolt hole in the punch sub-holder inwardly from the fourth upper bolt hole, thereby allowing the fourth upper bolt hole, which serves as a fastening hole between the punch and the punch sub-holder, to be exposed through the upper hole while maintaining the coupling position of the upper base and the punch sub-holder, so that the assembly state between the punch and the punch sub-holder can be conveniently checked.
[0031] In addition, the present invention forms a sub-receiving hole in the punch holder, and since the punch sub-holder, which is designed to change according to the punch, is fixed so that its outer size matches the sub-receiving hole regardless of changes in the punch design, it eliminates the need for replacement of the punch holder and has the effect of maximizing versatility.
[0032] In addition, the present invention forms a die receiving hole in the die holder of the lower mold and changes the shape of the die discharge hole according to the design of the punch, while matching the outer size thereof to the die receiving hole, so that the lower base and the die holder can be used universally regardless of changes in the specifications of the electrode. [0035] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings so that those skilled in the art can easily implement them.
[0037] The modular mold according to the present invention relates to a mold that is modularized to minimize the replacement of parts and allow other parts to be used as they are even when the specifications of the electrode are changed.
[0038] An upper base (110) having an upper hole (111) that penetrates the upper and lower parts;
[0039] A punch holder (120) that is bolted to the bottom surface of the upper base (110), has a sub-receiving hole (121) formed therein that penetrates the upper and lower parts, and is arranged to communicate with the upper hole (111);
[0040] A punch subholder (130) positioned to be coupled to or separated from the above sub-receiving hole (121);
[0041] A punch (140) that is coupled to or separated from the above punch sub-holder (130);
[0042] A stripper (150) that moves up and down along a lifting post (152) coupled to an upper base (110) through the punch holder (120), and has a punch receiving hole (151) formed therein for receiving the punch (140);
[0043] A lower base (210) having a lower hole (213) that penetrates the upper and lower parts;
[0044] A die holder (220) that is bolted to the upper surface of the lower base (210) and has a die receiving hole (221) penetrating the upper and lower portions arranged to communicate with the lower hole (213);
[0045] It includes a die (230) which is positioned to be coupled to or separated from the die receiving hole (221) and has an exhaust hole (231) formed therein corresponding to the shape of the punch (140).
[0047] The present invention relates to a notching mold for forming a tab at the end of an electrode. Conventionally, when the specifications of the electrode change, the entire mold must be replaced accordingly, which has the disadvantage of increasing manufacturing costs and time.
[0048] FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view showing a conventional notching die. The names of the components of the die shown in FIG. 1 are the same as the names of the present invention, but the conventional die components are assigned a single-digit number code, and the components of the present invention are assigned a three-digit number code to distinguish between the conventional die and the die of the present invention.
[0049] Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional mold is shown in which a punch holder (2) is bolted to the underside of an upper base (1), and a punch (3) is bolted to the underside of the punch holder (2). Additionally, a bolt is fastened that penetrates the upper base (1), the punch holder (2), and the punch (3) simultaneously. Furthermore, a stripper (4) that accommodates the punch (3) is positioned below the upper base (1).
[0050] Then, a die holder (6) is bolted onto the lower base (5), and a die (7) is fitted into a hole formed in the die holder (6).
[0051] The punch (3), stripper (4), and die (7) are parts that determine the cutting shape of the electrode, and if the specifications of the electrode are changed, the shapes of the punch (3), stripper (4), and die (7) are changed, and according to the design change of the punch (3), the die holder (6) and upper base (1) in which the fastening hole for connecting the punch (3) is formed must be newly manufactured, and the stripper (4) that accommodates the punch (3) must also be newly manufactured to fit the new punch (3).
[0052] In addition, the die (7) had to be newly manufactured to match the cutting shape of the punch (3), and the die holder (6), which has a hole formed to accommodate the die (7) to correspond to the redesigned die (7), and the lower base (5), which has a fastening hole that changes due to the redesign of the die (7), had to be newly manufactured. In other words, there were various inconveniences, such as increased manufacturing costs and increased manufacturing time, which caused delays in the production of the electrode, as the entire mold had to be remanufactured when the specifications of the electrode were changed.
[0053] Accordingly, the present invention provides a modular mold that allows for the notching process to be performed to an electrode with changed specifications without changing the entire mold, by modularizing the punch (140) for cutting the electrode and allowing only a minimum number of parts to be replaced according to the change of the punch (140). Accordingly, since only about 10% of the parts of the mold need to be replaced, the mold can be manufactured quickly and cheaply in response to changes in the specifications of the electrode.
[0054] In the present invention, the upper mold (100) is modularized so that when the specifications of the electrode are changed, only the punch (140), stripper (150), and sub-holder can be newly manufactured and replaced by forming a sub-receiving hole (121) in the punch holder (120) and inserting a punch sub-holder (130) that fixes the punch (140) into the sub-receiving hole (121), and the punch holder (120) and upper base (110) can be used as they are.
[0055] In addition, the lower mold (200) of the present invention forms a die receiving hole (221) in the die holder (220) and inserts and mounts a die (230), which has an ejection hole (231) formed to match the design-modified punch (140), into the die receiving hole (221), so that when the specifications of the electrode are changed, only the die (230) is newly manufactured and the die holder (220) and lower base (210) can be used as they are.
[0057] FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view showing the modular mold of the present invention. An upper base (110) is positioned at the top of the upper mold (100), and a punch holder (120) is bolted to the bottom of the upper base (110). A punch sub-holder (130) is inserted into a sub-receiving hole (121) formed in the punch holder (120) and bolted to the upper base (110), and a punch (140) is bolted to the bottom of the punch sub-holder (130). Additionally, a stripper (150) is coupled to the bottom of the punch holder (120), and a lifting post (152) for raising and lowering the stripper (150) penetrates the punch holder (120) and is coupled to the upper base (110).
[0058] A lower base (210) is positioned at the lowest part of the lower mold (200), and the lower base (210) is provided with a first guide post (211) and a second guide post (212) that guide the lifting and lowering movement of the upper mold (100), and a die holder (220) is coupled to the upper part of the lower base (210), and a die (230) is inserted into a die receiving hole (221) formed in the die holder (220), and the die (230) is bolted to the lower base (210) below.
[0059] The present invention allows for the insertion of a modularized punch sub-holder (130) and a die (230) by forming a sub-receiving hole (121) and a die receiving hole (221) in the punch holder (120) and the die holder (220), respectively, and as the specifications of the electrode change, only the punch (140), die (230), punch sub-holder (130), and stripper (150) are newly manufactured to match the changed specifications of the electrode, while the upper base (110), punch holder (120), die holder (220), and lower base (210) are maintained as they are and mounted in a mold to perform a notching process.
[0061] FIG. 3 is a drawing showing the plan view of the upper mold (100) in the modular mold of the present invention. The upper base (110) of the present invention is a base that is coupled with the punch holder (120) and the punch sub-holder (130) from below, and has an upper hole (111) that penetrates vertically formed therein, and a first upper bolt hole (112) for coupling with the punch sub-holder (130) and a second upper bolt hole (113) for coupling with the punch holder (120) formed therein.
[0062] Referring to FIG. 3, the upper surface of the punch sub-holder (130) is exposed through the upper hole (111) formed in the upper base (110), and the fifth upper bolt hole (132) formed in the punch sub-holder (130) is exposed through the upper hole (111). The fifth upper bolt hole (132) is a fastening hole for connecting the punch sub-holder (130) and the punch (140), and when the punch (140) is separated from the punch sub-holder (130), the bolt can be loosened through the upper hole (111) without separating the punch holder (120) and the punch sub-holder (130) from the upper base (110).
[0063] The first upper bolt hole (112) of the upper base (110) is arranged along the perimeter of the outer edge of the upper hole (111). The first upper bolt hole (112), shown in solid lines, is formed to penetrate the upper and lower parts of the upper base (110), and the first upper bolt hole (112), shown in silver lines, is formed to about half the depth of the upper base (110) so that the bolt enters from the bottom of the upper base (110) to the top, but is not exposed to the upper surface.
[0064] The first upper bolt hole (112) is connected to the fourth upper bolt hole (131) formed in the punch sub-holder (130) and is a fastening hole into which a bolt is inserted to fix the punch sub-holder (130) to the upper base (110). As shown in FIG. 3, the planar outer size of the punch sub-holder (130) is formed larger than the upper hole (111), and the position of the fourth upper bolt hole (131) formed along the perimeter of the inner edge of the punch sub-holder (130) and the first upper bolt hole (112) formed along the perimeter of the outer edge of the upper hole (111) coincide.
[0065] Even if a new punch sub-holder (130) is manufactured due to a change in the specifications of the electrode, the outer size of the punch sub-holder (130) and the position of the fourth upper bolt hole (131) are not changed, so that a new punch sub-holder (130) can be mounted without changing the upper base (110).
[0066] The second upper bolt hole (113) formed in the upper base (110) is for connection with the punch holder (120). The second upper bolt hole (113), shown in solid lines, is formed to penetrate the upper and lower parts of the upper base (110), and the second upper bolt hole (113), shown in silver lines, is formed to about half the depth of the upper base (110) so that the bolt enters from the bottom to the top of the upper base (110) but is not exposed to the upper surface.
[0067] The second upper bolt hole (113) is connected to the third upper bolt hole (123) of the punch holder (120) and is a fastening hole into which a bolt is inserted to fix the punch holder (120) to the upper base (110). The punch holder (120) is positioned so as to align with the positions of the second upper bolt hole (113) and the third upper bolt hole (123) and then joined. Since the punch holder (120) is not replaced even when the electrode specifications are changed, there is no need to loosen the bolt that fastens the punch holder (120) to the upper base (110).
[0068] The first upper bolt hole (112) is distributed on the inner side of the area formed in a square shape by connecting the second guide post (212) with a virtual line, and the second upper bolt hole (113) is distributed on the outer side of the area formed in a square shape by connecting the second guide post (212) with a virtual line, but is located on the inner side of the area formed in a square shape by connecting the first guide post (211) with a virtual line.
[0070] FIG. 4 is a bottom perspective view showing the punch holder (120), punch sub-holder (130), and punch (140) separated from the upper mold (100) of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 4, the punch holder (120) has a third upper bolt hole (123) formed as a fastening hole for coupling with the upper base (110), and a sub-receiving hole (121) formed on the inside into which the punch sub-holder (130) is inserted. The outer shape (outer) of the punch sub-holder (130) is formed to be the same size as the sub-receiving hole (121) so that the punch sub-holder (130) is pressed into the sub-receiving hole (121). The punch holder (120) and the punch sub-holder (130) are not coupled by bolt fastening, but the punch holder (120) and the punch sub-holder (130) are each coupled to the upper frame.
[0071] The above punch sub-holder (130) can be inserted into the sub-receiving hole (121) because its planar outer size does not change even with a design change of the punch (140) due to a change in the specifications of the electrode, so there is no need to replace the punch holder (120). Since the planar outer size of the punch sub-holder (130) is maintained, the fourth upper bolt hole (131) formed along the inner edge of the punch sub-holder (130) can also be formed in the same position and number, and as a result, it communicates with the first upper bolt hole (112) of the upper base (110), so there is no need to replace the upper base (110).
[0072] The flat outer surface area of the punch sub-holder (130) is formed with an area larger than the flat surface of the upper hole (111), and the fourth upper bolt hole (131) is formed in the area of the punch sub-holder (130) that belongs to the flat outer area of the upper hole (111). The fifth upper bolt hole (132), which is a fastening hole for fastening with the punch (140), is located inside the area formed in a square shape by connecting the fourth upper bolt hole (131) with an imaginary line, more strictly speaking, inside the flat edge of the upper hole (111). Therefore, the fifth upper bolt hole (132) is not obscured by the upper base (110) and is exposed to the outside of the upper mold (100) through the upper hole (111), allowing a worker to conveniently perform maintenance and inspection work.
[0073] The fifth upper bolt hole (132) is a fastening hole for connection with the punch (140). When the specifications of the electrode are changed, the position and shape of the punch (140) are changed for tap processing of the electrode plate, and accordingly, the position or size of the fifth upper bolt hole (132) for connection with the punch (140) is changed to match the specifications of the electrode.
[0074] The punch (140) is a cutting mechanism for cutting a metal sheet to form a tab of an electrode, and a sixth upper bolt hole (141) is formed on the upper part for connection with the punch sub-holder (130). The sixth upper bolt hole (141) is positioned to communicate with the fifth upper bolt hole (132) of the punch sub-holder (130), and a bolt is inserted to be bolted together.
[0075] When replacing the punch (140) to match the specifications of the new electrode, the position, shape, and mutual spacing of the sixth upper bolt hole (141) formed in the punch (140) may be changed, and the fifth upper bolt hole (132) of the punch sub-holder (130) is also changed to communicate with the sixth upper bolt hole (141) in correspondence. However, by ensuring that the shape and position of the fourth upper bolt hole (131), which is a fastening hole for coupling with the upper base (110) in the punch sub-holder (130), and the outer size of the punch sub-holder (130) are not changed, only the punch (140) and the punch sub-holder (130) need to be newly manufactured, and there is no need to replace the upper base (110) and the punch holder (120).
[0077] FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the upper mold (100) in the present invention. In FIG. 5, the first upper bolt hole (112) formed on the outer edge of the upper hole (111) is shown in silver lines, and accordingly, the fourth upper bolt hole (131) communicating with the first upper bolt hole (112) is also shown in silver lines.
[0078] As shown in FIG. 5, the fifth upper bolt hole (132) of the punch sub-holder (130) is exposed upward through the upper hole (111), and the punch sub-holder (130) is inserted into the sub-receiving hole (121) of the punch holder (120), and the fourth upper bolt hole (131) of the punch sub-holder (130) is connected to the first upper bolt hole (112) of the upper base (110) and bolted.
[0079] The above punch holder (120) is provided with a support block (122) for supporting the punch sub-holder (130) from below. The support block (122) is bolted to the bottom surface of the punch sub-holder (130) and is positioned to partially cover the sub-receiving hole (121). The punch sub-holder (130) is inserted into the sub-receiving hole (121) and the support block (122) is coupled to the bottom of the punch holder (120), so that the upper surface of the support block (122) makes surface contact with the bottom surface of the punch sub-holder (130) and supports the punch sub-holder (130).
[0080] The fifth upper bolt hole (132) of the punch sub-holder (130) communicates with the sixth upper bolt hole (141) of the punch (140), and a bolt is inserted to combine the punch sub-holder (130) and the punch (140). The punch receiving hole (151) of the stripper (150) surrounds the outer surface of the punch (140) to support the punch (140), and after cutting the punch (140), pushes the electrode sheet downward to prevent it from sticking to the punch (140).
[0082] FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the lower mold (200) of the present invention in disassembled form. As shown in FIG. 6, the lower base (210) is provided with a first guide post (211) and a second guide post (212) to guide the lifting and lowering movement of the upper mold (100). The first guide post (211) connects the upper base (110) and the lower base (210) from the outside of the punch holder (120) and the die holder (220), and the second guide post (212) connects the upper base (110) and the lower base (210) by penetrating the punch holder (120) and the die holder (220).
[0083] The lower base (210) has a lower hole (213) formed therein that penetrates from top to bottom. The lower hole (213) is a hole for discharging scrap cut by the punch (140) to the outside of the mold.
[0084] A second lower bolt hole (215) is formed along the outer edge of the lower hole (213). The second lower bolt hole (215) is a fastening hole for coupling with a die (230) placed on top of the lower base (210), and a bolt simultaneously penetrates the second lower bolt hole (215) and the fourth lower bolt hole (232) formed in the die (230) to combine the lower base (210) and the die (230). The upper surface of the lower base (210) and the lower surface of the die (230) can come into close contact.
[0085] Additionally, a first lower bolt hole (214) for connection with a die holder (220) is formed in the lower base (210). The first lower bolt hole (214) is positioned further outward than the second lower bolt hole (215). The first lower bolt hole (214) communicates with a third lower bolt hole (222) formed in the die holder (220), and a bolt is inserted to connect the lower base (210) and the die holder (220).
[0086] Inside the die holder (220), a die receiving hole (221) for receiving a die (230) penetrates the upper and lower parts of the die holder (220). The die receiving hole (221) is arranged to simultaneously communicate with a plurality of lower holes (213).
[0087] The size of the die receiving hole (221) is formed to be the same as the outer shape (outer) size of the die (230), and since the size does not change even if the electrode specifications are changed, the die holder (220) can be used universally regardless of various electrode specifications.
[0088] The die (230) of the present invention is a part that is replaced as the specifications of the electrode change, and is formed in a plate shape. Its flat outer size is formed to match the die receiving hole (221) even when the electrode changes, and is inserted into the die receiving hole (221). An exhaust hole (231) corresponding to the shape of the punch (140) is formed inside the die (230), and the punch (140) is inserted into the exhaust hole (231). The exhaust hole (231) and the lower hole (213) of the lower base (210) are connected so that as the punch (140) is inserted into the exhaust hole (231), scrap of the metal sheet is discharged to the outside of the mold through the lower hole (213).
[0090] FIG. 7 is a plan view of the lower mold (200) of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 7, the first lower bolt hole (214) of the lower base (210) and the third lower bolt hole (222) of the die holder (220) are positioned in the same location and fastened with bolts, and the second lower bolt hole (215) of the lower base (210) is positioned in the same location as the fourth lower bolt hole (232) of the die (230) and fastened with bolts. In this way, the die holder (220) and the die (230) are not directly fastened with bolts, and each is coupled to the lower base (210).
[0091] The discharge hole (231) of the die (230) and the lower hole (213) of the lower base (210) are connected to each other to discharge the scrap generated as the punch (140) descends to the outside.
[0093] In the conventional mold illustrated in FIG. 1, as the specifications of the electrode change, the punch (3) is replaced, and the stripper (4) is also replaced to match the replaced punch (3). Additionally, the punch holder (2) and upper base (1) that support and combine the punch (3) are replaced together according to the replaced punch (3), and the die (7), the die holder (6) into which the die (7) is inserted, and the lower base (5) are also replaced. In other words, the entire mold must be replaced.
[0094] However, the modular mold of the present invention modularizes the punch (140) and the punch sub-holder (130) by forming a sub-receiving hole (121) in the punch holder (120) to accommodate the punch sub-holder (130) to which the replaced punch (140) is coupled, so that when the punch (140) is replaced due to a change in the specifications of the electrode, the outer size of the punch sub-holder (130) to which the replaced punch (140) is coupled is kept the same, and the position of the fifth upper bolt hole (132) is changed so that the punch (140) is stably coupled, and the punch (140), punch sub-holder (130), and stripper (150) can be newly manufactured, and the remaining punch holder (120) and upper base (110) provide a structure that allows the modularized punch (140), punch sub-holder (130), and stripper (150) to be compatible and coupled, so that replacement or modification is not required.
[0095] And the die (230) also has an ejection hole (231) formed to match the shape of the replaced punch (140), but without changing the outer size, so that only the die (230) is newly manufactured and inserted into the die receiving hole (221) of the die holder (220), and the die holder (220) and lower base (210) have a structure that allows the modularized die (230) to be compatible and combined without the need for replacement.
