Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a handle assembly that can be popped up and grasped when moving and can maintain a stored state when in use or stored, and a dehumidifier having the same. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, a dehumidifier is a device or appliance that removes moisture from the air in an indoor space.

[0003] This dehumidifier is configured to remove moisture from air by drawing in air from a space where moisture is to be removed and passing it through a heat exchanger, thereby removing the moisture from the air through heat exchange with said heat exchanger.

[0004] The heat exchanger described above includes a condenser that condenses the refrigerant and an evaporator that evaporates the refrigerant. That is, as air passes through the evaporator, it exchanges heat with the refrigerant to remove moisture, and as it passes through the condenser, it absorbs the heat released from the refrigerant and is supplied to the room in a dry state, thereby lowering the humidity of the indoor space.

[0005] In addition, the dehumidifier is configured to have a water tank, collect and store moisture separated from the air as it passes through the evaporator, and discharge it when necessary.

[0006] In the case of household dehumidifiers, it is desirable to configure them so that they can be freely moved according to the user's needs. Accordingly, conventionally, a handle is provided on the dehumidifier, allowing the user to move the dehumidifier using the handle when they wish to move it.

[0007] Such handles are provided in various forms. Typically, structures include those described in Published Patent No. 10-2006-0129676, Published Patent No. 10-2002-0085647, Published Patent No. 10-2015-0115570, and Published Patent No. 10-2015-0113793. Specifically, there are structures in which the handle is rotatably installed on the outer surface of the main body and rotated only when necessary, structures in which the handle is formed as a recessed groove, or structures in which the handle is integrated with the main body in a protruding state.

[0008] However, the handle of the dehumidifier according to the aforementioned conventional technology has the disadvantage that it is difficult to utilize the upper surface of the dehumidifier.

[0009] In addition, in the case of a structure in which the handle is installed to rotate or a structure in which the handle is formed as a recessed groove, there is a disadvantage that foreign matter may remain in the area where the handle is received.

[0010] Meanwhile, recently, a pop-up structure has been provided in which the handle protrudes outside the main body only when necessary. For example, as in the vehicle door of Registered Patent No. 10-2006290, it is configured to be stored inside the surface when not in use and to protrude from the surface only when in use.

[0011] However, since this pop-up handle operates via a power supply, it was difficult to use it with a moving dehumidifier when the power was not connected. Prior art literature

[0012] Published Patent No. 10-2006-0129676 Published Patent No. 10-2002-0085647 Published Patent No. 10-2015-0115570 Published Patent No. 10-2015-0113793 Registered Patent No. 10-2006290 The problem to be solved

[0013] The present invention has been devised to solve various problems according to the aforementioned prior art.

[0014] The objective of the present invention for this purpose is to provide a new type of handle assembly that can be protruded and used only when necessary, and a dehumidifier having the same.

[0015] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a new type of handle assembly that allows the handle to be stably exposed, and a dehumidifier having the same.

[0016] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a new type of handle assembly and a dehumidifier having the same, which can prevent foreign substances from entering the area where the handle is stored when the handle is exposed.

[0017] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a new type of handle assembly and a dehumidifier having the same, wherein the handle can be automatically exposed without supplying power by using a plate spring with a clockwork spring structure.

[0018] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a new type of handle assembly capable of preventing sagging of a leaf spring by supporting the leaf spring during the exposed operation of the handle, and a dehumidifier having the same. means of solving the problem

[0019] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention for achieving the above-mentioned purpose, a handle assembly is installed in a case, and the handle assembly can selectively block a handle groove formed in an upper cover or protrude from the handle groove.

[0020] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the handle can be exposed only when necessary. Thus, the handle can be hidden inside the case during the operation of a standard dehumidifier.

[0021] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the handle assembly may optionally be installed within the case of the dehumidifier. Thus, the handle assembly may be provided as a separate assembly.

[0022] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the handle assembly may have a lifting frame coupled to the handle installed within the handle housing so as to be vertically movable.

[0023] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the lifting frame can be elastically moved within the handle housing by means of an elastic operating part. This enables selective protrusion of the handle without providing a separate power source.

[0024] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the elastic operating part may be formed of a coil spring that provides a restoring force to wind a plate spring around a rotating shaft.

[0025] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, a bent end is provided at the end of the leaf spring so that it can be fixed by being caught in a locking hole formed in the handle housing.

[0026] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the leaf spring can be configured to be supported by a support member. This prevents sagging of the leaf spring and prevents damage to the leaf spring.

[0027] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the support portion may be formed on the inner surface of the handle housing.

[0028] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the support member may be formed to support at least a portion of the plate spring.

[0029] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the support member can be positioned to support the leaf spring while the handle is stored inside the upper cover. By supporting the leaf spring in a bent state, damage to the leaf spring is prevented.

[0030] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the support member can be positioned to support the plate spring when the plate spring is released from the rotation axis. By supporting the plate spring in a bent state, damage to the plate spring is prevented.

[0031] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the support member may be provided in multiple numbers having a width narrower than the width of the plate spring.

[0032] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, a plurality of support members can be arranged spaced apart from each other in the width direction of the leaf spring. This allows the leaf spring to be supported by a minimum number of support members.

[0033] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the vertical length of the support member can be formed to be shorter than the lifting height of the lifting frame. This allows the leaf spring to be stably supported with a minimum length.

[0034] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the upper portion of the support member may be formed at an angle. This allows the leaf spring to be stably supported by the support member even if the vertical length of the support member is formed to be shorter than the lifting height of the lifting frame.

[0035] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the lifting frame can be selectively restrained to the handle housing by a restraining member. Thus, when the restraint of the restraining member is released, the lifting frame can be moved by the elastic movement member.

[0036] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the restraining member includes a restraining hook protruding from a lifting frame and a restraining housing that is fixed within a handle housing and restrains the restraining hook. Thus, when the lifting frame is moved to a location where the restraining housing is positioned, the restraining hook can be restrained to the restraining housing.

[0037] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the lifting frame may be configured to be guided for lifting movement by a lifting guide part.

[0038] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the lifting guide unit may be composed of a rack gear and a pinion gear. This enables the lifting frame to move up and down stably.

[0039] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the lifting frame and the handle can be formed to be spaced apart from each other and to provide a gripping area between them.

[0040] According to the dehumidifier of the present invention, the upper surface of the lifting frame may be formed to block the handle groove when the handle protrudes from the handle groove of the upper cover. This prevents the problem of foreign matter entering by opening the handle groove when the handle protrudes.

[0041] According to the handle assembly of the present invention for achieving the above objective, it may include: a handle housing with an open upper surface; a lifting frame that elastically moves up and down within the handle housing by means of an elastic operating part; and a handle that covers the open upper surface of the handle housing or protrudes from the upper surface of the handle housing by the lifting movement of the lifting frame.

[0042] According to the handle assembly of the present invention, the elastic operating part may be formed of a clockwork spring. This enables the handle to be moved up and down automatically without using power.

[0043] According to the handle assembly of the present invention, the handle housing may be provided with a support portion that supports at least a portion of the leaf spring. This prevents bending deformation, such as sagging of the leaf spring, thereby preventing the leaf spring from being damaged or the bent end from coming out of the locking groove. Effects of the invention

[0044] The handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same as described above can be used by protruding the handle only when necessary, and when not in use, it can be in a recessed state without protruding from the outer surface of the dehumidifier.

[0045] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same are positioned so that the upper surface of the lifting frame blocks the handle groove when the handle protrudes, so that the intrusion of foreign matter through the handle groove can be prevented despite the protrusion of the handle.

[0046] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can have the handle automatically exposed without supplying power by providing a resilient operating part.

[0047] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can prevent the problem of the handle moving rapidly while moving upward or downward by providing a lifting guide part.

[0048] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can prevent tilting to one side while the lifting frame is being raised, as the rack gear of the lifting guide part is located on both sides of the lifting frame and pinion gears are installed on both sides of the lifting frame.

[0049] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can prevent problems caused by sagging or bending deformation of the leaf spring because the support portion supports the leaf spring when the handle is exposed. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0052] In addition, when describing embodiments of the present invention, if it is determined that a detailed description of related known configurations or functions would hinder understanding of the embodiments of the present invention, such detailed description is omitted.

[0053] In addition, terms such as first, second, A, B, (a), (b), etc., may be used when describing the components of the embodiments of the present invention. These terms are intended only to distinguish the components from other components, and the essence, order, or sequence of the components is not limited by the terms. Where it is stated that a component is "connected," "combined," or "connected" to another component, it should be understood that the component may be directly connected or connected to the other component, but that another component may also be "connected," "combined," or "connected" between each component.

[0054] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the handle assembly of the present invention and a dehumidifier having the same will be described with reference to the attached FIGS. 1 to 24.

[0055] The attached FIGS. 1 to 3 are perspective and exploded perspective views of a dehumidifier according to an embodiment of the present invention. In addition, FIG. 4 is a plan view of a dehumidifier according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 5 and 6 are cross-sectional views seen from different directions.

[0056] As illustrated in these drawings, the handle assembly (800) of the present invention is designed so that the handle (810) can be used with the handle (810) protruding only when the dehumidifier is moving, and the handle (810) can be hidden when the dehumidifier is operating or not moving.

[0057] In particular, the handle assembly (800) of the present invention is designed to prevent damage to the leaf spring provided for the up-and-down movement of the handle (810).

[0058] The handle assembly according to this embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail as follows, using the application state to a dehumidifier as an example.

[0059] First, the dehumidifier according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a case (100).

[0060] The above case (100) can be defined as a part that forms a perimeter wall among the exterior of the dehumidifier.

[0061] The above case (100) can be formed to be open vertically while providing space for various parts or devices to be installed inside.

[0062] The above case (100) may be formed by combining multiple parts. For example, the above case (100) may be provided by being divided into a first perimeter case (110), a second perimeter case (120), a base frame (130), and an upper cover (140).

[0063] The first perimeter case (110) forms the front of the dehumidifier and part of one side wall and part of another side wall, and the second perimeter case (120) forms the rear of the dehumidifier and part of one side wall and part of another side wall.

[0064] For convenience of explanation, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the side facing the direction where the water container (400) is located is defined as the right side, and the side facing the opposite direction of the water container (400) is defined as the left side. When viewed with reference to FIG. 4, the side facing where the first perimeter case (110) is located can be defined as the front, and the side facing where the second perimeter case (120) is located can be defined as the rear. Although not illustrated, the case (100) may additionally be provided with a separate perimeter case forming a side wall.

[0065] An intake port (121) may be formed in the second perimeter case (120). For example, an intake port (121) for inhaling indoor air may be formed in the upper portion of the second perimeter case (120).

[0066] The lower right side of the case (100) (based on FIG. 1 and FIG. 2) may be formed to be open. For example, the lower right wall of the first perimeter case (110) and the lower right wall of the second perimeter case (120) are formed to be open. A water container (400) may be detachably installed within this open area. The water container (400) stores moisture separated from the air.

[0067] The above base frame (130) can be defined as a part that forms the bottom of the case.

[0068] The base frame (130) is formed to block the open bottom surfaces of the first perimeter case (110) and the second perimeter case (120).

[0069] A compressor (230), a water tank (400), and an electrical unit (600) may be placed on or installed on the upper surface of the base frame (130).

[0070] A wheel (160) may be installed on the bottom surface of the base frame (130).

[0071] The wheel (160) is provided for the rolling movement of the dehumidifier. That is, with the provision of the wheel (160), the dehumidifier can be moved to a different location by rolling as needed by the user.

[0072] The upper cover (140) can be defined as a portion forming the upper surface of the case (100).

[0073] The upper cover (140) is formed to block the open upper surface of the first perimeter case (110) and the second perimeter case (120).

[0074] A discharge port (141) may be formed in the upper cover (140). The discharge port (141) may be formed on any side of the upper cover (140). For example, the discharge port (141) may be formed on the right side of the upper cover (140) when viewed from a planar view.

[0075] The above discharge port (141) can be selectively opened and closed by an opening / closing door (142). The opening / closing door (142) can be opened and closed manually or automatically.

[0076] Although not shown, the first perimeter case (110) and the second perimeter case (120) may be formed integrally with each other, or either one of the perimeter cases (110, 120) and the base frame (130) or either one of the perimeter cases (110, 120) and the upper cover (140) may be formed integrally with each other.

[0077] A handle groove (143) may be further formed in the upper cover (140). The handle groove (143) may be defined as a hole formed to allow the handle (810) of the handle assembly (800), which will be described later, to pass through.

[0078] The handle groove (143) may be formed on the other side of the upper surface of the upper cover (140). For example, the handle groove (143) may be formed on the left side of the upper cover (140) when viewed from a planar view.

[0079] A partition frame (500) may be provided within the above case (100).

[0080] The above partition frame (500) can be defined as the internal body of the dehumidifier. That is, the space within the case (100) can be divided into a plurality of spaces by the above partition frame (500).

[0081] The above partition frame (500) can divide the space within the case (100) vertically. To this end, the above partition frame (500) can be formed to block the space between the upper space and the lower space within the case (100). Thus, the space within the case (100) can be divided into an upper space and a lower space by the above partition frame (500).

[0082] A heat exchanger (210, 220) and a fan assembly (300) may be installed on the upper surface of the above partition frame (500). In consideration of this, the above partition frame (500) also functions as a condensate receiver to receive condensate falling from the heat exchanger (210, 220).

[0083] As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, a first seating portion (540) and a second seating portion (550) may each be provided on the upper surface of the partition frame (500).

[0084] A heat exchanger (210, 220) is mounted on the first mounting portion (540), and a fan assembly (300) is mounted on the second mounting portion (550).

[0085] The above heat exchanger (210, 220) may include an evaporator (210) for separating moisture from the air using a temperature difference with the air, and a condenser (220) for raising the temperature of the air that has passed through the evaporator (210).

[0086] The condenser (220) may be located on the air outlet side of the evaporator (210). In particular, the evaporator (210) and the condenser (210) are positioned to overlap in the direction of air flow and are provided in the area where the intake port (121) of the second perimeter case (120) is formed within the case (100). For example, the evaporator (210) and the condenser (220) may be provided in the upper right space within the case (100). The evaporator (210) is positioned closer to the intake port (121) than the condenser (220). Due to this arrangement of the evaporator (210) and the condenser (220), air introduced from the intake port (121) can be supplied to the room with its temperature raised after moisture has been removed.

[0087] A first vertical partition (510) and a second vertical partition (520) may each be formed on the bottom surface of the above partition frame (500) to divide the lower space within the case (100) into multiple spaces. That is, by providing each of the above vertical partitions (510, 520), the compressor (230), the water tank (400), and the electrical unit (600) installed on the upper surface of the base frame (130) may each be provided in spaces that are partitioned from each other.

[0088] A fan assembly (300) can be installed inside the above case (100).

[0089] The above fan assembly (300) can be defined as an assembly having a blower fan (310) to generate airflow.

[0090] This fan assembly (300) can be positioned on the second mounting portion (550) on the upper surface of the partition frame (500) located within the case (100).

[0091] The above fan assembly (300) may have a bellmouth positioned on the opposite side to the heat exchanger (particularly, condenser) (210, 220) through which air is introduced. Thus, air passing through the intake port (121) and sequentially through the evaporator (210) and the condenser (220) can be introduced into the fan assembly (300).

[0092] As shown in FIGS. 2 and FIGS. 5, the fan assembly (300) includes a blower fan (310) and a fan housing (320).

[0093] The above fan housing (320) may be formed roundly with respect to the rotation center of the blower fan (310), and a discharge duct (323) is formed on one of the perimeter portions to guide the discharge flow of air while extending upward.

[0094] The end of the discharge duct (323) is provided as an air outlet and is installed to align with the discharge port (141) of the upper cover (140). Thus, air flowing along the discharge duct (323) can be discharged into the room after sequentially passing through the air outlet and the discharge port (141) of the upper cover (140).

[0095] As shown in FIG. 6, a fan motor (324) is installed in the fan housing (320), and a blower fan (310) is positioned inside the fan housing (320) and is axially coupled to the fan motor (324).

[0096] An electrical unit (600) may be provided within the above case. The electrical unit (600) is a part or device formed by assembling a plurality of circuit components for controlling the operation of each device.

[0097] The above-mentioned electrical section (600) is provided by being coupled to the first vertical partition (510) of the partition frame (500) that forms one side space within the case (100).

[0098] A dehumidifier according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a handle assembly (800).

[0099] The handle assembly (800) is a part provided for the user to operate when moving the dehumidifier.

[0100] The handle assembly (800) can be coupled to the case (100) and used to assist in the movement operation of the dehumidifier.

[0101] Next, the handle assembly (800) will be described in more detail for each component with reference to the attached FIGS. 9 to 24.

[0102] As illustrated in FIG. 9, the handle assembly (800) of the embodiment of the present invention may be installed on the upper cover (140) of the case (100) forming the dehumidifier. For example, a part of the handle assembly (800) may be connected to the upper cover (140). Of course, although not illustrated in detail, a part of the handle assembly (800) may also be additionally connected to other adjacent parts (e.g., a fan housing).

[0103] The handle assembly (800) of the embodiment of the present invention has a handle (810). The handle (810) is a part that is grasped by a user.

[0104] The handle (810) may be configured to protrude outside the case (100) only when the user needs it.

[0105] The handle (810) may be configured to remain stored inside the case (100) when the dehumidifier is in operation or when the dehumidifier is not being moved. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, when the handle (810) is not in use, its upper surface is maintained to block the handle groove (143) formed in the upper cover (140). Thus, when the handle (810) is not in use, the handle groove (143) is closed, thereby preventing foreign matter from entering the handle groove (143).

[0106] The upper surface of the handle (810) may be formed as a flat surface. Thus, when the handle (810) is positioned to cover the handle groove (143), the upper surface of the handle (810) does not protrude from the upper surface of the upper cover (140) and provides the same flat surface as the upper cover (143). Of course, if the upper surface of the upper cover (140) is formed as a curved surface, the upper surface of the handle (810) may be formed as part of the curved surface provided by the upper cover (140).

[0107] The bottom surface of the handle (810) may be formed in a rounded shape. This eliminates the discomfort caused by the angled parts when the user grips the handle (810).

[0108] Next, the handle assembly (800) of the embodiment of the present invention has a handle housing (820). This handle housing (820) may be formed to provide an internal mounting space. That is, by providing the handle housing (820), related components for raising and lowering the handle (810) can be mounted within the handle housing (820).

[0109] The handle housing (820) forms the exterior of the handle assembly (800). The top of the handle housing (820) can be connected to the upper cover (140) by a screw (820a) (see FIG. 9). A portion of the rear of the handle housing (820) can be connected to the fan housing (320) by a screw. Of course, the handle housing (820) can be connected only to the upper cover (140) or only to the handle housing (820).

[0110] As illustrated in FIGS. 10 to 13, the handle housing (820) can be formed by combining a first cover (821) and a second cover (822). The first cover (821) forms the front surface of the handle housing (820), and the second cover (822) forms the rear surface of the handle housing (820). That is, a mounting space can be provided inside by combining the first cover (821) and the second cover (822).

[0111] The handle housing (820) may be formed considering the space within the case (100), the shape of the case (100), or the shape of the handle (810). That is, if the circumference of the case (100) is formed in a circular structure as in the example dehumidifier, the handle (810) may be formed in an arc structure, and the handle housing (820) may also be formed in an arc structure or a semicircular structure.

[0112] The handle housing (820) is formed so that its upper surface is open. Preferably, the open upper surface of the handle housing (820) may be formed in the same shape as the handle groove (143) formed in the upper cover (140). The open upper surface of the handle housing (820) and the handle groove (143) may be positioned to coincide with each other.

[0113] A stopper (823) may be formed in the handle housing (820) to prevent excessive upward movement of the lifting frame (830) to be described later. The stopper (823) may be formed by bending a portion of the upper part of the second cover (822).

[0114] Next, the handle assembly (800) of the embodiment of the present invention has a lifting frame (830).

[0115] The above lifting frame (830) is provided for the lifting and lowering movement of the handle (810).

[0116] The lifting frame (830) is installed so as to be vertically movable within the handle housing (820), and the handle (810) is attached to the upper surface.

[0117] As illustrated in FIGS. 12 to 15 and FIGS. 17 and 18, a protruding boss (831) is formed on the upper surface of the lifting frame (830), and the handle (810) is coupled to the upper surface of the protruding boss (831). The protruding boss (831) is formed to have a predetermined height, thereby allowing the handle (810) to be positioned so as to be spaced apart from the upper surface of the lifting frame (830). At this time, the predetermined height may be a height such that a user's hand can be inserted. That is, the gap between the handle (810) and the upper surface of the lifting frame (830) allows the user to grip the handle (810).

[0118] In particular, the height of the protruding boss (831) can be formed such that when the handle (810) protrudes from the handle groove (143) of the upper cover (140), the upper surface of the lifting frame (830) blocks the handle groove (143). Thus, even if the handle (810) protrudes from the handle groove (143) and the handle groove (143) is opened, the lifting frame (830) blocks the handle groove (143), thereby preventing the inflow of foreign matter.

[0119] As illustrated in FIGS. 13 to 15, a limiting ridge (833) is formed on the upper rear side of the lifting frame (830) to restrict upward movement by striking the barrier (823) formed within the handle housing (820). That is, due to the contact between the barrier (823) and the limiting ridge (833), the lifting frame (830) is not excessively raised from the handle housing (820), and the upper surface of the lifting frame (830) can block the handle groove (143).

[0120] Meanwhile, guide rods (832) may be formed on both sides of the lifting frame (830). The guide rods (832) are support structures designed to prevent left-right shaking during the lifting movement of the lifting frame (830).

[0121] These guide rods (832) are formed in a cylindrical shape and can be extended in the opposite direction to the protruding boss (831).

[0122] To support the guide rod (832), both sides within the handle housing (820) may be formed rounded to surround the outer surface of the guide rod (832). That is, by forming the inner surfaces of both sides of the handle housing (820) to surround a portion of the outer surface of the guide rod (832), the guide rod (832) can move up and down while being guided by the handle housing (820).

[0123] Additionally, the handle assembly (800) may further include a lifting guide part (840).

[0124] The above lifting guide section (840) is configured to guide the lifting movement of the lifting frame (830) while preventing sudden upward or downward movement of the lifting frame (830).

[0125] As shown in FIG. 18, the lifting guide part (840) may be composed of a rack gear (841) and a pinion gear (842). That is, by the meshing operation between the rack gear (841) and the pinion gear (842), the lifting frame (830) can be supported while preventing the lifting frame (830) from moving rapidly.

[0126] The rack gear (841) of the lifting guide part (840) may be formed on the inner wall surface of the handle housing (820) along the lifting direction of the lifting frame (830). The pinion gear (842) may be installed on the side of the lifting frame (830) and configured to operate by engaging with the rack gear (841).

[0127] The rack gear (841) may be formed to protrude from the inner surface of the second cover (822) forming the handle housing (820). More specifically, the rack gear (841) may be positioned between the two guide rods (832) of the lifting frame (830) on the inner surface of the second cover (822).

[0128] In particular, the rack gears (841) may be positioned facing each other on both sides of the lifting frame (830) as a pair, and the pinion gears (842) may be positioned on each side of the lifting frame (830) and installed to mesh with the rack gears (841). This prevents the lifting frame (830) from tilting to one side while moving up and down.

[0129] Although not illustrated, the rack gear (841) may be formed on the first cover (821) of the handle housing (820). However, considering that the lifting frame (830) has a curved shape toward the first cover (821), there is insufficient space to form the rack gear (841). Taking this into account, it is more preferable for the rack gear (841) to be formed on the inner surface of the second cover (822).

[0130] Next, the handle assembly (800) of the embodiment of the present invention has a resilient operating part (850).

[0131] The above elastic operating part (850) may be provided so that the lifting frame (830) moves elastically within the handle housing (820). That is, the lifting frame (830) is automatically raised by the restoring force of the elastic operating part (850), thereby allowing the handle (810) to be exposed outside the upper cover (140).

[0132] As shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, the elastic operating part (850) of the embodiment of the present invention may be composed of a coil spring. To this end, the elastic operating part (850) is configured to include a rotation axis (851) and a plate spring (852) wound around the rotation axis (851).

[0133] The above-mentioned rotating shaft (851) is rotatably installed at both ends on the lifting frame (830).

[0134] As shown in FIGS. 14, 15, 17, and 18, the leaf spring (852) is wound with one end fixed to the rotation shaft (851), and the other end can be connected to the handle housing (820). At this time, a catch hole (824) for connecting the leaf spring (852) is formed on the upper side of the second cover (822) forming the handle housing (820), and a bent end (853) that is caught and restrained by the catch hole (824) can be provided on the other end of the leaf spring (852).

[0135] Considering that the above leaf spring (852) is formed from a material with strong elastic restoring force, it is difficult to form it into a bent structure. Taking this into account, the bent end (853) can be manufactured separately from the leaf spring (852) and then joined to the other end of the leaf spring (852) by means of rivets, screw fastening, welding, etc.

[0136] Additionally, since the leaf spring (852) is formed to be wound around the rotation axis (851), bending (sagging) may occur due to the restoring force attempting to restore it to its original state when it is unfolded (tensioned). This bending occurs repeatedly during every lifting operation of the lifting frame (830), thereby providing a load to the joint between the bending end (853) and the other end of the leaf spring (852). Consequently, a problem may arise in which the bending end (853) separates from the leaf spring (852) after prolonged use.

[0137] In particular, when the above-mentioned leaf spring (852) is wound as much as possible on the rotation axis (851) or in the initial unwound state, the vertically standing portion (the portion from the bend end to the rotation axis) is short, so no bending deformation occurs.

[0138] However, when the above-mentioned leaf spring (852) is completely or nearly released from the rotation axis (851), bending deformation occurs because the vertically erected portion is long.

[0139] And, when such bending deformation occurs, the connection part with the above-mentioned catch hole (824) tilts in the direction of bending, so the load is bound to increase. As a result, a large load is also generated at the connection part with the bending end (853), causing damage to the connection part.

[0140] To solve this problem, an embodiment of the present invention provides a support member (860) that can support a part of the plate spring (852) during the lifting operation of the lifting frame (830). That is, when the plate spring (852) is released from the rotation axis (851), the support member (860) supports the plate spring (852), thereby allowing the plate spring (852) to remain upright without bending. This prevents the problem of the connection part with the locking hole (824) tilting and also prevents damage to the connection part with the bending end (853).

[0141] The support portion (860) may be provided in the handle housing (820). For example, the support portion (860) may be formed to protrude toward the plate spring (852) from the inner wall surface of the handle housing (820) facing the plate spring (852). That is, it may be formed to protrude from the inner surface of the second cover (822) forming the handle housing (820).

[0142] Specifically, the support member (860) can be positioned to support the leaf spring (852) while the handle (810) is housed inside the upper cover (140).

[0143] Thus, even if the lifting frame (830) is moved downward as much as possible and the leaf spring (852) is unwound as much as possible from the rotation axis (851), bending deformation is prevented by the support member (860), and the frame can be maintained in a vertically upright state.

[0144] Next, the handle assembly (800) of the embodiment of the present invention has a restraining part (870).

[0145] The above restraining part (870) acts to restrain the upward movement of the lifting frame (830) when the handle (810) is positioned to block the handle groove (143) of the upper cover (140).

[0146] These restraints (870) may be configured to automatically restrain the movement of the lifting frame (830) or to release the restraint.

[0147] For example, the restraint portion (870) may be configured to include a restraint hook (871) protruding in the direction of operation from the lifting frame (830), and a restraint housing (872) that is fixed within the handle housing (820) and receives and restrains the restraint hook (871).

[0148] In particular, the restraint housing (872) of the above-described restraint part (870) may be configured as a pop-up latch (or push-button latch) that repeatedly restrains and releases the restraint hook (871) through a repetitive pressing motion of the handle, although it is not illustrated in detail. The pop-up latch is a component that grips or releases the restraint hook (871) as the elastic member is compressed and restored by a pressing motion, although it is not illustrated.

[0149] In the following, the process of using the handle assembly (800) of the dehumidifier according to the aforementioned embodiment of the present invention is described in more detail.

[0150] First, when the dehumidifier is used in a position where it is placed, the handle (810) forming the handle assembly (800) remains in a state where it blocks the handle groove (143) formed in the upper cover (140) of the dehumidifier. This is as illustrated in FIG. 1.

[0151] In this case, the leaf spring (852) forming the elastic operating part (850) of the handle assembly (800) is kept in an upright state, completely released from the rotation axis (851). At this time, bending deformation may occur in the leaf spring (852) due to its extended length.

[0152] However, since a support portion (860) is formed on the inner wall of the handle housing (820) of the handle assembly (800) to support the leaf spring (852), bending deformation of the leaf spring (852) does not occur. As a result, since the leaf spring (852) maintains a vertically upright state, the problem of the bent end (853) connected to the end of the leaf spring (852) tilting or slipping out of the catch hole (824) of the handle housing (820) can be prevented.

[0153] Additionally, when the handle (810) is maintained in a state where it blocks the handle groove (143), the restraining hook (871) formed on the lifting frame (830) is inserted into the restraining housing (872) provided in the handle housing (820) and is maintained in a restrained state. This is as illustrated in FIGS. 15 and FIGS. 17.

[0154] Therefore, since the handle (810) is not exposed to the outside, the deterioration of the dehumidifier's aesthetic appeal caused by the handle (810) can be prevented.

[0155] Meanwhile, if the user wants to move the dehumidifier, the handle (810) pops up.

[0156] To pop up the handle (810), the handle (810) is pressed. Due to this pressing force, the restraint on the restraint hook (871) forming the restraint part (870) is released.

[0157] Then, when the restraint of the restraint hook (871) is released, the plate spring (852) forming the elastic operating part (850) is wound around the rotation shaft (851) by the restoring force, pulling the rotation shaft (851) upward to the position where the bending end (853) is located. As a result, the lifting frame (830) on which the rotation shaft (851) is installed moves upward, and the handle (810) attached to the upper surface of the lifting frame (830) also moves upward together.

[0158] While the lifting frame (830) is moving upward, the guide rod (832) of the lifting frame (830) is guided on both sides within the handle housing (820). In particular, because the pinion gear (842) installed on the lifting frame (830) engages and operates along the rack gear (841) forming the lifting guide part (840), the lifting frame (830) rises at a constant speed. This prevents rapid movement and tilting to one side during the upward movement of the lifting frame (830).

[0159] The lifting frame (830) is moved upward until its limiting ledge (833) strikes the barrier (823) formed within the handle housing (820). This is as illustrated in FIGS. 19 to 24.

[0160] And, as the limiting ridge (833) comes into contact with the prevention ridge (823), the upward movement of the lifting frame (830) is stopped, and the upper surface of the lifting frame (830) can be positioned to block the handle groove (143) formed in the upper cover (140). Thus, even though the handle (810) is protruding, the intrusion of foreign matter through the handle groove (143) can be prevented.

[0161] The handle (810) protrudes from the upper surface of the upper cover (140) by the height of the protruding boss (831), thereby allowing the user to move the dehumidifier while holding the protruding handle (810).

[0162] The wheel (160) installed on the base frame (130) of the dehumidifier rotates in the direction of operation of the handle (810).

[0163] Then, when the movement of the dehumidifier is completed, the handle (810) is pressed. As a result, the handle (810) and the lifting frame (830) are moved downward.

[0164] When the above lifting frame (830) is lowered, the plate spring (852) of the elastic operating part (850) is gradually released from the rotation axis (851) and rises.

[0165] In addition, when the lifting frame (830) moves downward, the guide rod (832) of the lifting frame (830) is guided on both sides within the handle housing (820), and the pinion gear (842) forming the lifting guide part (840) rotates along the rack gear (841). As a result, the lifting frame (830) moves downward at a constant speed without tilting.

[0166] Then, when the downward movement of the lifting frame (830) is completed, the restraining hook (871) forming the restraining part (870) is restrained in a state where it is inserted into the restraining housing (872). As a result, the handle (810) returns to its initial state of blocking the handle groove (143).

[0167] Thus, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can have the handle (810) protrude and be used only when necessary, and when not in use, it can be received without protruding from the outer surface of the dehumidifier.

[0168] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same are positioned so that when the handle (810) protrudes, the upper surface of the lifting frame (830) blocks the handle groove (143), so that the intrusion of foreign matter through the handle groove (143) can be prevented despite the protrusion of the handle (810).

[0169] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can have the handle (810) automatically exposed without supplying power by providing a resilient operating part (850).

[0170] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can prevent the problem of the handle (810) moving rapidly while moving upward or downward by providing a lifting guide part (840).

[0171] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can prevent tilting to one side while the lifting frame (830) is being lifted by having the rack gear (841) of the lifting guide part (840) positioned on both sides of the lifting frame (830) and the pinion gear (842) installed on both sides of the lifting frame (830).

[0172] In addition, the handle assembly of the present invention and the dehumidifier having the same can prevent problems caused by sagging or bending deformation of the plate spring (852) in advance because the support part (860) supports the plate spring (852) when the handle (810) is exposed.

[0173] Meanwhile, the support portion (860) provided in the handle assembly of the present invention can support the entire portion of the plate spring (852) regardless of the height of the lifting frame (830) as long as the vertical length is longer.

[0174] However, the longer the length of the support member (860), the larger the contact area with the leaf spring (852) compared to when it is of appropriate length, which may cause the leaf spring (852) to be damaged and may cause an increase in overall weight.

[0175] Considering this, it is most desirable that the support member (860) be configured to support the leaf spring (850) as stably as possible while reducing the contact area of the leaf spring (850) to prevent damage to the leaf spring (850).

[0176] As an example for this purpose, as illustrated in FIGS. 14, 15, 21, and 22, the length of the support portion (860) in the direction in which the lifting frame (830) of the handle assembly (800) is lifted can be formed to be shorter than the lifting distance of the lifting frame (830).

[0177] More specifically, it is preferable that the length of the support member (860) be formed only from a position where bending deformation of the leaf spring (852) can occur (initial position of bending deformation) to a position where the leaf spring (852) is fully extended (position where bending deformation is maximized).

[0178] By doing so, the length of the support member (860) is minimized, thereby reducing the contact area between the support member (860) and the leaf spring (852), and the occurrence of damage to the leaf spring (852) can be reduced.

[0179] As another example, as shown in FIG. 18, the support portion (860) may be formed narrower than the width of the plate spring (852) to reduce the contact area with the plate spring (852).

[0180] However, if the width of the support portion (860) is formed to be excessively narrow, another bending deformation (bending in the width direction) may occur from the portion supporting the leaf spring (852).

[0181] Considering this, it is preferable that the width of the support member (860) be formed as narrow as possible, provided in multiple numbers, and arranged spaced apart from each other in the width direction of the leaf spring (852). That is, the width of the support member (860) is formed to be narrower than the width of the leaf spring (852) and provided in multiple numbers, and the multiple support members (860) are arranged spaced apart from each other in the width direction of the leaf spring (852).

[0182] As another example, as illustrated in FIGS. 14, 15, 21, and 22, the support portion (860) may be formed at an angle such that the height of the protrusion from the inner wall of the handle housing (820) decreases as the handle (810) protrudes in the direction of protrusion.

[0183] This structure is designed so that the pressure received when the leaf spring (852) comes into contact with the support member (860) during the process of the leaf spring (852) gradually unfolding due to the downward movement of the lifting frame (830) can gradually increase. That is, by lowering the instantaneous pressure received by the leaf spring (852) due to contact with the support member (860), damage to the leaf spring (852) can be prevented.

[0184] Meanwhile, the handle assembly of the present invention is not limited to being applied only to dehumidifiers.

[0185] In other words, the handle assembly of the present invention can be applied to various home appliances other than dehumidifiers and used to assist in the movement and operation of said appliances. For example, the structure of the handle assembly of the present invention can be used as a handle for portable air conditioners, humidifiers, air purifiers, etc.

[0186] As such, the dehumidifier of the present invention can be implemented in various forms.
