Abstract
Description
Technology Field

[0002] A dehumidifier is a home appliance that lowers the humidity of a dehumidification space by drawing in air from a space where dehumidification is desired, removing moisture contained in the air through heat exchange, and discharging the air from which moisture has been removed back into the space.
[0003] The above dehumidifier can lower the humidity of the dehumidification space by sequentially repeating the process of drawing in air from the dehumidification space using a fan assembly, removing moisture from the air and heating it using a heat exchanger, and discharging the air into the dehumidification space using the fan assembly.
[0004] Recently, active development of technology to miniaturize the aforementioned dehumidifier has been underway, particularly in the direction of reducing the thickness of the dehumidifier. In this case, the heat exchanger and the fan assembly are arranged along the thickness direction of the dehumidifier. Consequently, conventionally, as the thickness of the dehumidifier is reduced, the gap between the heat exchanger and the fan assembly narrows, leading to a problem of reduced heat exchange performance. [0020] In a dehumidifier according to the present invention, the spacing determining part may support at least one of the fan assembly and the heat exchanger so that the spacing between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger based on the first axis direction is arranged at a predetermined reference distance. Effects of the invention
[0021] According to the present invention, the following effects can be achieved.
[0022] The present invention is implemented to secure a gap between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger using a gap adjustment unit. Accordingly, the present invention can be implemented to reduce the overall thickness while satisfying the heat exchange performance required by the application. Therefore, the present invention can achieve miniaturization while possessing the dehumidification performance required by the application.
[0023] The present invention can guide the spacing between a fan assembly and a heat exchanger to be positioned at a preset reference distance using a spacing determining unit. Accordingly, an operator can use the spacing determining unit to position the spacing between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger at the reference distance, or to verify whether the spacing between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger has been positioned at the reference distance. Therefore, the present invention can improve the ease and accuracy of the task of positioning the spacing between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger at the reference distance using the spacing determining unit.
[0024] The present invention can be implemented such that the spacing determining member supports at least one of the fan assembly and the heat exchanger. Accordingly, the present invention makes it possible to maintain the spacing between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger at a reference distance by utilizing the spacing determining member. Therefore, the present invention can prevent the spacing between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger from narrowing due to vibration, shaking, etc., during use by utilizing the spacing determining member, thereby maintaining dehumidification performance by maintaining heat exchange performance.
[0025] The present invention is implemented to support a fan assembly using a first crystal member, thereby ensuring a gap between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger. Accordingly, the present invention can improve the ease and accuracy of the process of positioning the fan assembly so that the gap between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger becomes a reference distance by utilizing the first crystal member. Furthermore, by utilizing the supporting force of the first crystal member, the present invention can restrict the fan assembly from moving toward the heat exchanger due to vibration or shaking during use, thereby maintaining dehumidification performance by preserving heat exchange performance.
[0026] The present invention is implemented by using a blocking member to shield the space between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger, thereby blocking the entry and exit of air through the space between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger. Accordingly, the present invention can prevent the dehumidified air from leaking to the outside through the space between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger by using the blocking member during the process in which the air dehumidified by the heat exchanger flows into the fan assembly. Therefore, the present invention can reduce the flow rate of air dehumidified by the heat exchanger that is lost because it cannot flow into the fan assembly by using the blocking member, while simultaneously increasing the flow rate of air dehumidified by the heat exchanger flowing into the fan assembly. Accordingly, the present invention can increase the flow rate of dehumidified air discharged through the discharge unit, thereby improving dehumidification efficiency and performance. Furthermore, the present invention can block the inflow of air not dehumidified by the heat exchanger through the space between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger by using the blocking member. Therefore, since the present invention can lower the humidity of the air discharged through the discharge unit, it can improve dehumidification efficiency and dehumidification performance.
[0027] The present invention is implemented such that a portion of a first side blocking member coupled to a shroud and a portion of a second side blocking member coupled to a heat exchanger are arranged to overlap each other. Accordingly, the present invention can reduce the flow rate of air entering or exiting through the gap between the first side blocking member and the second side blocking member. Additionally, the present invention may allow a portion of the first side blocking member and a portion of the second side blocking member to overlap each other so that the first side blocking member is positioned outside the second side blocking member. Accordingly, the present invention can be implemented such that the gap between the first side blocking member and the first side blocking member is not positioned in the direction of flow of dehumidified air flowing from the heat exchanger to the fan assembly. Therefore, the present invention can further reduce the flow rate of dehumidified air leaking outward through the gap between the first side blocking member and the second side blocking member.
[0028] In the present invention, an upper blocking member protruding from the upper part of a first side blocking member toward a heat exchanger can be positioned to cover the space between a protruding member positioned above the heat exchanger and the heat exchanger. Accordingly, the present invention can block the entry and exit of air through the space between the protruding member and the heat exchanger by utilizing the upper blocking member. Therefore, the present invention can reduce the flow rate of air that is lost because the air dehumidified by the heat exchanger cannot flow into the fan assembly, while simultaneously reducing the flow rate of air that is not dehumidified by the heat exchanger and flows inward through the space between the fan assembly and the heat exchanger. Accordingly, the present invention can further improve dehumidification efficiency and dehumidification performance. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0060] First, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can use the spacing determining part (6) to guide the spacing (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) to be arranged at a predetermined reference distance. The reference distance is a distance that can reduce the thickness of the dehumidifier body (2) while satisfying the heat exchange performance required by the place of use, and can be determined in advance through preliminary tests, etc. For example, the reference distance may be 17 mm or more. This is because if the spacing (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) is less than 17 mm, the spacing (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) becomes too narrow, which may reduce the heat exchange performance. The operator can use the spacing determining unit (6) to set the spacing (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) to the reference distance, or use the spacing determining unit (6) to check whether the spacing (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) is set to the reference distance. In this way, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can improve the ease and accuracy of setting the spacing (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) to the reference distance using the spacing determining unit (6).
[0061] Next, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention may be implemented such that the spacing determining part (6) supports at least one of the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can use the spacing determining part (6) to maintain the spacing (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) at the reference distance. Therefore, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can prevent the spacing (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) from narrowing due to vibration, shaking, etc. during use by using the spacing determining part (6), thereby maintaining dehumidification performance by maintaining heat exchange performance.
[0062] The above spacing determining part (6) may be coupled to the support body (261) having the above support part (26). The above spacing determining part (6) and the above support body (261) may be formed integrally. The above support body (261) may support the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) at the lower side of the fan assembly (5) and the lower side of the heat exchanger (4). The above support body (261) may partition the flow space (26a) and the driving space (26b). The above support body (261) may be formed in the shape of a plate overall and may be positioned in a horizontally lying position. A first coupling member (262) and a second coupling member (263) may be coupled to the above support body (261). The above first coupling member (262) may protrude downward from the bottom surface of the above support body (261). The lower end of the first coupling member (262) may be coupled to the bottom portion (23). The second coupling member (263) may protrude downward from the bottom surface of the support body (261) at a position spaced apart from the first coupling member (262). The lower end of the second coupling member (263) may be coupled to the bottom portion (23) at a position spaced apart from the lower end of the first coupling member (262). Accordingly, by utilizing the supporting force provided by the first coupling member (262) and the second coupling member (263) on the bottom portion (23), the support body (261) can support the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). Meanwhile, the first coupling member (262) and the second coupling member (263) may be spaced apart from each other along the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Based on the above second axis direction (Y-axis direction), a first placement space (260a) for arranging the compressor (3) may be formed between the first coupling member (262) and the second coupling member (263). A second placement space (260b) may be formed in the first coupling member (262). The second placement space (260b) may be used as a space for forming the mounting groove (29).A third placement space (260c) may be formed in the second coupling member (263). The third placement space (260c) may be used as a space for the electrical section (26c) to be placed. Based on the second axis direction (Y-axis direction), the first placement space (260a) may be placed between the second placement space (260b) and the third placement space (260c).
[0063] The above spacing determining part (6) may include a first determining member (61).
[0064] The first crystallizing member (61) can support the fan assembly (5) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) based on the first axial direction (X-axis direction). By supporting the fan assembly (5), the first crystallizing member (61) can ensure that a gap (60) is secured between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can improve the ease and accuracy of the operation of arranging the fan assembly (5) so that the gap (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) becomes the reference distance by using the first crystallizing member (61). In addition, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can limit the movement of the fan assembly (5) toward the heat exchanger (4) due to vibration, shaking, etc. during use by utilizing the support force of the first crystal member (61), thereby maintaining dehumidification performance by maintaining heat exchange performance.
[0065] The first crystal member (61) may protrude upward from the upper surface of the support body (261). When the fan assembly (5) is seated on the support body (261), the upper end of the first crystal member (61) may be positioned at a lower height than the bell mouth (531). Accordingly, the first crystal member (61) may be positioned so as not to obstruct the suction port (530). The first crystal member (61) may be formed in the shape of a plate extending long along the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). In this case, the first crystal member (61) may be positioned in an upright position in the vertical direction (Z-axis direction). The first crystal member (61) and the support body (261) may be formed integrally. Among the surfaces of the first determination member (61) above, the surface having a relatively large area can be arranged to face the fan assembly (5).
[0066] The above spacing determining part (6) may include a second determining member (62).
[0067] The second determining member (62) can support the heat exchanger (4) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) with respect to the first axial direction (X-axis direction). By supporting the heat exchanger (4), the second determining member (62) can ensure that a gap (60) is secured between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can improve the ease and accuracy of the work of arranging the heat exchanger (4) so that the gap (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) becomes the reference distance by using the second determining member (62). In addition, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can limit the movement of the heat exchanger (4) toward the fan assembly (5) due to vibration, shaking, etc. during use by utilizing the supporting force of the second crystal member (62), thereby maintaining dehumidification performance by maintaining heat exchange performance. The second crystal member (62) can support the condenser (42).
[0068] The second crystal member (62) may protrude upward from the upper surface of the support body (261). The second crystal member (62) and the first crystal member (61) may be spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction (X-axis direction) to determine the gap (60) between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). In this case, the distance between the second crystal member (62) and the first crystal member (61) based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction) may be set to correspond to the reference distance. When the heat exchanger (4) and the fan assembly (5) are seated on the support body (261), the upper end of the second crystal member (62) may be positioned at a lower height than the bellmouth (531). Accordingly, the second crystal member (62) may be formed so as not to obstruct the flow of air flowing from the heat exchanger (4) to the intake port (530). The second crystal member (62) may be formed in the shape of a plate extending long along the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). In this case, the second crystal member (62) may be positioned upright in the vertical direction (Z-axis direction). The second crystal member (62) and the support body (261) may be formed integrally. Among the surfaces of the second crystal member (62), the surface having a relatively large area may be positioned to face the heat exchanger (4).
[0069] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 13, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention may include a blocking part (7).
[0070] The above blocking member (7) can be positioned to block the space between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). Accordingly, the blocking member (7) can block the entry and exit of air through the space between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). Thus, the blocking member (7) can block the leakage to the outside through the space between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4) during the process in which air dehumidified by the heat exchanger (4) flows to the fan assembly (5). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can reduce the flow rate of air dehumidified by the heat exchanger (4) that is lost because it cannot flow to the fan assembly (5) by using the blocking member (7), and at the same time, increase the flow rate of air dehumidified by the heat exchanger (4) that flows to the fan assembly (5). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can increase the flow rate of dehumidified air discharged through the discharge section (22), thereby improving dehumidification efficiency and dehumidification performance. In addition, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can use the blocking section (7) to block air that is not dehumidified by the heat exchange section (4) from flowing into the interior through the space between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchange section (4). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can lower the humidity of the air discharged through the discharge section (22), thereby improving dehumidification efficiency and dehumidification performance.
[0071] In this case, the inner side may correspond to a flow path space corresponding to the gap (60) between the heat exchanger (4) and the fan assembly (5). The flow path space is a space where the heat exchanger (4) and the fan assembly (5) face each other, and can function as a flow path through which air dehumidified by the heat exchanger (4) flows to the fan assembly (5). The flow path space may be a space located between the condenser (42) and the bellmouth (531) along the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The blocking part (7) may be arranged to surround the flow path space. In this case, the inner side may correspond to the flow path space and also to the inner space of the blocking part (7). The outer side may correspond to the outer space of the blocking part (7). The above blocking part (7) blocks the entry and exit of air between the inner side and the outer side, thereby preventing dehumidified air flowing in the inner side from leaking to the outer side and also preventing undehumidified air flowing in the outer side from entering the inner side. The above blocking part (7) may be positioned at a location spaced outward from the bellmouth (531).
[0072] The above blocking part (7) may include a first side blocking member (71).
[0073] The first side blocking member (71) may be coupled to the shroud (53) so as to protrude toward the heat exchanger (4). Accordingly, the first side blocking member (71) is positioned to cover the space between the heat exchanger (4) and the fan assembly (5), thereby blocking the entry and exit of air through the space between the heat exchanger (4) and the fan assembly (5). The first side blocking member (71) may be positioned at a location spaced apart from the bellmouth (531) along the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Accordingly, the first side blocking member (71) may block the entry and exit of air through the side of the flow path space by covering the side of the flow path space with respect to the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). The first side blocking member (71) may be formed as a plate shape that extends long along the vertical direction (Z-axis direction). In this case, the first side blocking member (71) may be positioned in an upright position in the vertical direction (Z-axis direction). Among the surfaces of the first side blocking member (71), the surface having a relatively large area may be positioned to face the flow path space. The first side blocking member (71) and the shroud (53) may be formed integrally.
[0074] The above blocking member (7) may include a plurality of the first side blocking members (71). Among the first side blocking members (71), at least one first side blocking member (71) may be positioned on one side of the bell mouth (531) with respect to the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). With reference to FIG. 11, the first side blocking member (71) may be positioned on the right side of the bell mouth (531). Among the first side blocking members (71), at least one first side blocking member (71') may be positioned on the other side of the bell mouth (531) with respect to the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). With reference to FIG. 11, the first side blocking member (71') may be positioned on the left side of the bell mouth (531). In this way, the first side blocking members (71, 71') can be arranged to cover both sides of the bellmouth (531) with respect to the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Accordingly, the first side blocking members (71, 71') can block the entry and exit of air through both sides of the bellmouth (531).
[0075] At least one of the first side blocking members (71) may be coupled to the first crystal member (61). As shown in FIG. 13, the first side blocking member (71') may be supported by the first crystal member (61) by inserting the upper part of the first crystal member (61) into the lower part of the first side blocking member (71'). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can not only reduce vibration or shaking of the first side blocking member (71) caused by the air flow pressure, but also further strengthen the support force for the fan assembly (5) using the first side blocking member (71). Some of the first side blocking members (71) may not be coupled to the first crystal member (61). All of the above first side blocking members (71) may be combined with the above first decision member (61).
[0076] The above blocking part (7) may include a second side blocking member (72).
[0077] The second side blocking member (72) may be coupled to the heat exchanger (4) so as to protrude toward the fan assembly (5). Accordingly, the second side blocking member (72) is positioned to cover the space between the heat exchanger (4) and the fan assembly (5), thereby blocking the entry and exit of air through the space between the heat exchanger (4) and the fan assembly (5). The second side blocking member (72) may be positioned at a location spaced apart from the bellmouth (531) along the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Accordingly, the second side blocking member (72) may block the entry and exit of air through the side of the flow path space by covering the side of the flow path space with respect to the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). The second side blocking member (72) may be formed as a plate extending long along the vertical direction (Z-axis direction). In this case, the second side blocking member (72) may be positioned in an upright position in the vertical direction (Z-axis direction). Among the surfaces of the second side blocking member (72), the surface having a relatively large area may be positioned to face the flow path space. The second side blocking member (72) may be coupled to the condenser (42). The second side blocking member (72) and the condenser (42) may be formed integrally.
[0078] The second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71) may be arranged so that a portion of them overlap each other. Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can reduce the flow rate of air entering and exiting through the gap between the second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71), thereby strengthening the blocking power of air entry and exit to the flow path space. In this case, the first side blocking member (71) may be positioned outside the second side blocking member (72) based on the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Accordingly, compared to the case where the second side blocking member (72) is positioned outside the first side blocking member (71), the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can further reduce the flow rate of dehumidified air flowing out through the gap between the second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71). This is examined in detail as follows.
[0079] First, in the case of an embodiment in which the second side blocking member (72) is positioned outside the first side blocking member (71), a gap between the second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71) is positioned in the direction of flow of dehumidified air flowing from the heat exchanger (4) to the fan assembly (5). Accordingly, the dehumidified air can flow out to the outside of the flow path space through the gap between the second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71).
[0080] In contrast, in the embodiment where the first side blocking member (71) is positioned outside the second side blocking member (72), the gap between the second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71) is not positioned in the direction of flow of dehumidified air flowing from the heat exchanger (4) to the fan assembly (5). The gap between the second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71) is positioned in the direction from the fan assembly (5) toward the heat exchanger (4). Accordingly, the embodiment in which the first side blocking member (71) is positioned outside the second side blocking member (72) can further reduce the flow rate of dehumidified air flowing out to the outside of the flow path space through the gap between the second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71).
[0081] Meanwhile, based on the first axial direction (X-axis direction), the second side blocking member (72) and the first side blocking member (71) can each be formed with a length shorter than the gap (60) between the heat exchanger (4) and the fan assembly (5). The first side blocking member (71) can be positioned outside the second side blocking member (72) based on the second axial direction (Y-axis direction) so as to be in contact with the outer surface of the second side blocking member (72).
[0082] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 14, the blocking part (7) may include an upper blocking member (73).
[0083] The upper blocking member (73) may protrude from the upper portion of the first side blocking member (71) toward the heat exchanger (4). In this case, the fan assembly (5) may include a protruding member (54) protruding from the shroud (53) toward the heat exchanger (4). The protruding member (54) may be positioned above the heat exchanger (4). The upper blocking member (73) may be positioned to cover the space between the protruding member (54) and the heat exchanger (4) based on the vertical direction (Z-axis direction). Accordingly, the upper blocking member (73) can block the entry and exit of air through the space between the protruding member (54) and the heat exchanger (4). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can reduce the flow rate of air that is lost because the air dehumidified by the heat exchanger (4) cannot flow into the fan assembly (5), and at the same time, reduce the flow rate of air that is not dehumidified by the heat exchanger (4) and flows into the interior through the space between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). Accordingly, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can further improve dehumidification efficiency and dehumidification performance. The upper blocking member (73) may be formed as a plate extending long along the first axial direction (X-axis direction). In this case, the upper blocking member (73) may be positioned in a lying position parallel to the first axial direction (X-axis direction). Among the surfaces of the upper blocking member (73), the surface having a relatively large area may be positioned to face the flow path space. The upper blocking member (73) and the first side blocking member (71) may be formed integrally. The upper surface of the upper blocking member (73) may be coupled to the protruding member (54). In this case, the upper blocking member (73) and the protruding member (54) may be formed integrally.
[0084] The upper blocking member (73) may be formed with a length greater than the sum of the length of the distance between the shroud (53) and the condenser (42) and the length of the condenser (42) based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). Accordingly, the upper blocking member (73) may be formed to block the space between the protruding member (54) and the flow path space, the space between the protruding member (54) and the condenser (42), and the space between the protruding member (54) and the evaporator (41). Thus, the dehumidifier (1) according to the present invention can further reduce the flow rate of air that is dehumidified by the heat exchanger (4) and is lost because it cannot flow to the fan assembly (5), and at the same time, can further reduce the flow rate of air that is not dehumidified by the heat exchanger (4) and flows inward through the space between the fan assembly (5) and the heat exchanger (4). The upper blocking member (73) may be formed with a length that covers only a portion of the space between the protruding member (54) and the evaporator (41).
[0085] The blocking member (7) may include a plurality of upper blocking members (73). In this case, the blocking member (7) may include a plurality of first side blocking members (71). The upper blocking members (73) may protrude toward the heat exchanger (4) from the upper portion of each of the first side blocking members (71). Among the upper blocking members (73), at least one upper blocking member (73) may be positioned on one side of the bellmouth (531) with respect to the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). With reference to FIG. 11, the upper blocking member (73) may be positioned on the right side of the bellmouth (531). Among the upper blocking members (73), at least one upper blocking member (73') may be positioned on the other side of the bellmouth (531) with respect to the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Based on FIG. 11, the upper blocking member (73') may be positioned on the left side of the bellmouth (531). In this way, the upper blocking members (73, 73') may be positioned to cover the upper sides of the bellmouth (531) with respect to the second axis direction (Y-axis direction).
