Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a fiber material and a fiber material manufactured thereby, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a graphene fiber material in which a woody graphene solution is treated to be composited with fiber products, chips, fibers, yarn fabrics, clothing, etc., and to a graphene fiber material manufactured by the method. Background Technology

[0003] Generally, traditional fiber materials—that is, basic natural fibers or synthetic fibers such as cotton, polyester, and nylon that lack added functionality—had various limitations in terms of durability, water resistance, breathability, and hygiene management.

[0004] Accordingly, functional materials with various functionalities imparted to fiber materials are being developed and used, and among them, graphene fabrics in which graphene is applied to fiber materials are being developed.

[0005] This graphene fabric is a functional fiber material made from fibers containing graphene, applying the excellent physical and chemical properties of graphene to the fabric. It possesses various characteristics such as lightweightness, excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, durability, antibacterial and deodorizing functions, and UV blocking capabilities.

[0006] Conventional technologies for manufacturing such graphene fiber materials are disclosed in registered patents No. 10-1561544, No. 10-2323666, No. 10-2534123, etc.

[0007] In these existing graphene fiber manufacturing technologies, graphite-based powder graphene produced from graphite is typically applied to the fibers. However, since mass production of this graphite-based powder graphene is not easy, it has been difficult to industrialize the mass production of graphene fibers.

[0008] In addition, conventional graphite powder graphene had a high probability of defects occurring during filament spinning due to the uneven distribution when mixing the powder with plastic, which is a synthetic fiber raw material, during masterbatch chip production. In other words, conventional graphite powder graphene was difficult to uniformly mix with plastic pellets, which are fiber raw materials, during the compounding and masterbatch processes, resulting in problems such as the production of defective yarns in terms of uniformity, filling, and media during filament spinning.

[0009] Furthermore, it was difficult to manufacture white fiber materials, the most basic color in textiles and fashion, using conventional graphite powder graphene, which posed a problem for application in the fashion industry. Prior art literature

[0011] Registered Patent No. 10-1561544 Registered Patent No. 10-2323666 Registered Patent No. 10-2534123 The problem to be solved

[0012] The present invention was devised to solve the aforementioned conventional problems, and aims to provide a method for manufacturing graphene fiber materials using a woody graphene solution and a graphene fiber material manufactured thereby, which is improved to overcome the limitations of existing fiber material manufacturing technology using graphite-based powder graphene by processing the woody graphene solution to be composited with fiber products, chips, fibers, yarns, fabrics, clothing, etc., thereby enabling the realization of white fibers and ensuring mass production while imparting graphene functionality to natural fibers and synthetic fibers.

[0013] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a method for manufacturing a graphene fiber material using a woody graphene solution, wherein a graphene mixed raw material is prepared by combining a woody graphene solution with a synthetic fiber raw material plastic, and the prepared graphene mixed raw material is molded into a chip shape to prepare a graphene fiber raw material chip, thereby enabling the production of a graphene synthetic fiber material based on the graphene fiber raw material chip.

[0014] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a method for manufacturing a graphene fiber material using a wood-based graphene solution, wherein the wood-based graphene solution is added to the dye during the dyeing process of a natural fiber fabric so that the wood-based graphene component is coated onto the natural fiber fabric along with the dyeing process.

[0016] However, the purpose of the present invention is not limited thereto, and it goes without saying that any purpose or effect that can be understood from the means of solving the problem or the embodiments, even if not explicitly mentioned, is also included. means of solving the problem

[0018] The method for manufacturing a graphene synthetic fiber material using a lignocellulosic graphene solution according to the present invention for achieving the above-mentioned purpose comprises: a) a step of preparing a graphene mixed raw material by mixing a lignocellulosic graphene solution with a synthetic fiber raw material plastic; b) a step of preparing a graphene fiber raw material chip through a master batch process using the graphene mixed raw material prepared through step a); and c) a step of preparing a graphene yarn containing a graphene component using the graphene fiber raw material chip.

[0019] Step a) above is configured to prepare a graphene mixed raw material by mixing a wood-based graphene solution and a synthetic fiber raw material plastic in a weight ratio of 3:97 to 9:91, and Step b) above may be configured to include: a step of stirring while heating the graphene mixed raw material to 200°C to 270°C so that the synthetic fiber raw material plastic is melted at a high temperature and the graphene component contained in the wood-based graphene solution is uniformly dispersed in the molten plastic to produce a graphene dispersed plastic melt; and a step of extruding the graphene dispersed plastic melt with an extruder to produce an extruder, cooling the produced extruder, and then cutting it into a pellet shape of a predetermined size.

[0020] Step c) above may be configured to manufacture a filament yarn containing a graphene component through a spinning process using the graphene fiber raw material chip.

[0021] Step c) above may be configured to manufacture a fiber using the graphene fiber raw material chip and to manufacture a blended yarn type yarn containing a graphene component by blending the manufactured fiber with another fiber.

[0022] In addition, the method for manufacturing a graphene natural fiber material using a woody graphene solution according to the present invention for achieving the above-mentioned purpose is characterized by preparing a graphene mixed dye solution by mixing a woody graphene solution and a dye solution in a weight ratio of 3:97 to 9:91 during the dyeing process of a natural fiber fabric, and proceeding with the dyeing process of the natural fiber fabric using the prepared graphene mixed dye solution so that the graphene material is incorporated into the natural fiber fabric. Effects of the invention

[0024] According to the above, by using a method that utilizes a wood-based graphene solution, it is possible to produce high-quality graphene yarn materials with significantly improved uniformity by enabling uniform mixing and dispersion of graphene during the masterbatch process for producing fiber raw material chips compared to the conventional method that utilizes graphite-based graphene powder. Furthermore, by using wood-based graphene, which allows for mass production compared to graphite-based graphene powder, manufacturing costs can be lowered, and mass production of graphene fiber materials becomes possible through the smooth supply of wood-based graphene.

[0025] In addition, compared to the conventional method of applying conventional graphite-based graphene powder, the present invention applies a transparent or translucent colloidal woody graphene solution, thereby enabling the realization of a white fiber material.

[0026] In addition, although there have been no materials to date that have been imparted with graphene functionality to natural fibers such as cotton, rayon, silk, and wool, the present invention has the effect of imparting graphene functionality to natural fiber materials by introducing a graphene solution during the dyeing process.

[0027] The present invention provides environmentally and eco-friendly wood-based graphene that can be used as a material for various types of clothing, such as clothing, sportswear, innerwear, homewear, nonwoven fabrics, and hospital gowns, and can be widely utilized in the functional fiber material industry.

[0029] Furthermore, the various and beneficial advantages and effects of the present invention are not limited to those described above and may be more easily understood in the process of explaining specific embodiments of the present invention. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0043] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0044] The method for manufacturing a graphene fiber material using a woody graphene solution of the present invention can be distinguished into embodiments applied to synthetic fibers or natural fibers.

[0045] First, with reference to FIG. 1, a method for manufacturing a graphene synthetic fiber material using a woody graphene solution according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described.

[0046] For reference, Figure 1 shows a case where the method for manufacturing a graphene fiber material using a woody graphene solution of the present invention is applied to a synthetic fiber, and is a flowchart showing the method for manufacturing a graphene synthetic fiber material using a woody graphene solution.

[0047] A method for manufacturing a graphene synthetic fiber material using a graphene solution applied to the manufacture of synthetic fibers according to the present invention comprises the steps of: manufacturing a graphene mixed raw material by mixing a lignocellulosic graphene solution with a synthetic fiber raw material plastic (S11); manufacturing a graphene fiber raw material chip through a master batch process using the graphene mixed raw material manufactured through step S11) (S12); and manufacturing a yarn using the graphene fiber raw material chip (S13).

[0048] The step of mixing raw materials (S11) is configured to mix a fiber raw material plastic for manufacturing synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, and polypropylene with a graphene solution in a predetermined ratio. Here, the fiber raw material plastic may be provided in the form of chips.

[0049] The graphene solution used in the present invention is not a graphene solution prepared based on graphite, but a lignocellulosic graphene solution, and consists of a colloidal lignocellulosic graphene solution in which lignocellulosic graphene prepared based on lignocellulosics such as bamboo, coconut shells, and corn stalks is dispersed in water or an organic solvent.

[0050] Colloidal lignocellulosic graphene solution is an ultrafine dispersed state in which lignocellulosic graphene is very finely dispersed in a solvent, exhibiting a milky white color (a color close to white).

[0051] In the present invention, the graphene concentration of the woody graphene solution is 500 PPM to 5000 PPM, and the concentration can be adjusted according to the material, such as natural fibers or synthetic fibers.

[0052] In addition, the woody graphene solution applied in the present invention may be a known woody graphene solution available on the market.

[0053] To explain the step of mixing raw materials (S11) in detail, the graphene mixed raw material is prepared by mixing a wood-based graphene solution and a synthetic fiber raw material plastic in a weight ratio of 3:97 to 9:91.

[0054] If the weight ratio of the wood-based graphene solution is less than 3, the functionality of the graphene, such as antibacterial, deodorizing, and far-infrared radiation, is significantly low and does not produce an effect. If the weight ratio of the graphene solution exceeds 9, the inherent functionality of the graphene, such as antibacterial, deodorizing, and far-infrared radiation, is excellent, but the pilling and media become poor, and the uniformity (meaning that the properties, thickness, or length of the fibers are uniform) is significantly reduced.

[0055] Here, pilling refers to the occurrence of a pile of fibers on the surface of the fibers, which degrades the appearance of the fiber product and causes damage, and mash refers to the fibers not having uniform thickness in the longitudinal direction, with fibers clumping together in places to show irregular thickness.

[0056] The step (S12) of manufacturing the fiber raw material chip is configured to manufacture the graphene fiber raw material chip by melting the graphene mixed raw material produced in the step S11) at a high temperature, extruding the molten material using an extruder to produce a strand (long drawn-out) type extruder, cooling it, and then cutting it into pellets of 2 to 10 mm.

[0057] Specifically, the graphene mixed raw material prepared in step S11) is heated to 200°C to 270°C while stirring so that the synthetic fiber raw material plastic is melted at a high temperature, and the graphene component contained in the wood-based graphene solution is uniformly dispersed in the molten plastic to produce a graphene dispersed plastic melt.

[0058] Next, a graphene-dispersed plastic melt is extruded using an extruder to produce a long extruded product, and after cooling the produced extruded product with cooling water or air cooling, it is cut into pellets of a predetermined size to complete a pellet-type graphene fiber raw material chip.

[0059] Here, the graphene mixed raw material can be stirred and mixed using a twin screw extruder under temperature conditions of 200°C to 270°C to ensure that the graphene is uniformly dispersed in the plastic melt. At this time, the stirring and mixing time is preferably 5 to 10 minutes; if it is less than 5 minutes, the stirring efficiency is poor, and if the mixing time exceeds 10 minutes, graphene aggregation may occur.

[0060] The graphene fiber raw material chip manufactured above is a fiber raw material plastic chip in the form of pellets in which graphene is uniformly dispersed, produced by mixing the graphene material contained in the lignocellulosic graphene solution with fiber raw material plastic.

[0061] The step of manufacturing yarn (S13) is configured to manufacture yarn through a conventional yarn manufacturing process using the graphene fiber raw material chip manufactured through the step S12). The yarn manufactured thereby contains a graphene component in the yarn manufactured by applying the graphene fiber raw material chip.

[0062] The step of manufacturing yarn (S13) can be configured to manufacture filament yarn from graphene fiber raw material chips through a spinning process.

[0063] For example, the spinning process may utilize a melt spinning method. That is, the process can be configured to manufacture graphene filament yarn by heating and melting graphene fiber raw material chips and then spinning them through a fine nozzle. Here, graphene filament yarn refers to filament yarn containing graphene components.

[0064] Meanwhile, the step of manufacturing yarn (S13) may be configured such that, instead of manufacturing filament yarn from graphene fiber raw material chips through a spinning process, a yarn is manufactured using graphene fiber raw material chips, and the manufactured yarn is blended with other fibers to manufacture a blended yarn type yarn.

[0065] Specifically, staple fibers can be manufactured by heating and melting graphene fiber raw material chips, spinning them into fine filaments, and cutting them. Graphene blended yarn can then be produced by mixing these staple fibers with general natural fibers and / or general synthetic fibers through a spinning process. Graphene blended yarn refers to blended yarn containing graphene components.

[0066] Graphene fabric containing graphene components can be manufactured using the graphene yarn produced in this manner through a fabric manufacturing process (S14), such as knitting or weaving. Additionally, textile products such as graphene clothing containing graphene components can be manufactured using the graphene fabric produced in this way through a sewing process (S15).

[0067] The present invention may further include a step of preparing a woody graphene solution before performing the step (S11) of preparing a mixed raw material.

[0068] The woody graphene solution applied in the present invention does not use graphite-based graphene obtained through interlayer separation from graphite, but rather woody materials such as bamboo, coconut shells, and corn stalks are carbonized to obtain woody activated carbon, and the woody graphene extracted from this woody activated carbon is mixed with water or an organic solvent to prepare a colloidal woody graphene solution in which the woody graphene is dispersed in a solvent.

[0069] Specifically, woody materials such as bamboo, coconut shells, and corn stalks are washed, dried, and then ground to produce fine woody powder, from which cellulose can be extracted using a conventional cellulose extraction method. Since such a cellulose extraction method is well known, a detailed explanation is omitted.

[0070] Afterward, the extracted cellulose is carbonized without oxygen at a high temperature (500–1000°C) to produce cellulose activated carbon, i.e., biochar, and then a graphene layer can be separated from this biochar to obtain lignocellulosic graphene. Conventional graphene separation methods, such as physical methods using ultrasound, chemical methods involving oxidation followed by reduction, and electrochemical methods using ionization chemical exfoliation, can be applied to the method of separating the graphene layer from the biochar.

[0071] The woody graphene produced in this way can be mixed with water or an organic solvent at a concentration of 500 PPM to 5000 PPM to produce a woody graphene solution.

[0072] These wood-based graphene solutions are environmentally friendly compared to graphite-based graphene, and offer significant advantages over the application of graphite-based graphene, such as reduced costs through the use of inexpensive raw materials and the possibility of mass production.

[0074] Hereinafter, with reference to FIG. 2, a method for manufacturing a graphene natural fiber material using a woody graphene solution according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described.

[0075] For reference, Figure 2 shows a case where the method for manufacturing a graphene fiber material using a woody graphene solution of the present invention is applied to a natural fiber, and is a flowchart illustrating the method for manufacturing a graphene natural fiber material using a woody graphene solution.

[0076] The present invention allows for the production of a natural fiber fabric such as cotton, rayon, silk, or wool (S21), a fabric pretreatment step (S22) in which the produced natural fiber fabric is washed to remove impurities, and then, when proceeding with dyeing processing (S23) of the pretreated natural fiber fabric, a lignocellulosic graphene solution is mixed with a dye solution to create a graphene mixed dye solution, and dyeing processing is performed using this graphene mixed dye solution to incorporate graphene material into the natural fiber fabric.

[0077] In the present invention, the dyeing process (S23) can be configured to produce a graphene mixed dye solution by mixing a woody graphene solution and a dye solution in a weight ratio of 3:97 to 9:91, and to perform dyeing through an immersion process in which a natural fiber is immersed in the produced graphene mixed dye solution for a predetermined time. For example, the graphene mixed dye solution produced by mixing a woody graphene solution and a dye solution in a weight ratio of 3:97 to 9:91 can be dyed at a temperature of 80°C to 120°C in a dyeing machine such as a jig dyeing machine.

[0078] The natural fiber fabric dyed and processed in this way can be used to manufacture graphene clothing products through sewing (S24).

[0080] Figures 3 and 4 are deodorizing performance test reports for a graphene fiber fabric manufactured by the method for manufacturing a graphene fiber material using a wood-based graphene solution of the present invention.

[0081] Experiments were conducted on the deodorizing performance of Example 1 (see Fig. 3), a graphene fiber raw material material manufactured based on a graphene fiber raw material chip prepared by mixing a wood-based graphene solution and a fiber raw material plastic in a weight ratio of 3:97, and Example 2, a graphene fiber raw material material manufactured based on a graphene fiber raw material chip prepared by mixing a wood-based graphene solution and a fiber raw material plastic in a weight ratio of 9:91.

[0082] As shown in each test report, it was confirmed that deodorizing performance is significantly improved when the mixing concentration of the woody graphene solution is high.

[0083] If the mixing concentration of the woody graphene solution is less than 3 weight%, fiber processability becomes easier, but the inherent functions of graphene, such as deodorizing performance, are significantly reduced.

[0084] In addition, if the mixing concentration of the woody graphene solution exceeds 9 weight% to improve deodorizing performance, peeling and muddying phenomena become noticeable and the uniformity is significantly reduced, so it is not good to mix the woody graphene solution in excess of 9 weight%.

[0085] In addition, FIG. 5 is an antibacterial test report for a graphene fiber fabric produced by the method for producing a graphene fiber material using a wood-based graphene solution of the present invention. Through this test report, the excellence of the antibacterial properties of the graphene fiber material of the present invention has been proven.

[0087] Although the present invention has been illustrated and described above in relation to preferred embodiments to illustrate the principles of the invention, the invention is not limited to the configuration and operation as illustrated and described. Rather, those skilled in the art will understand that numerous changes and modifications to the invention are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the appended claims. Accordingly, all such appropriate changes, modifications, and equivalents should be considered to be within the scope of the invention.
