Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a device for correcting the concentric straightness of a small-diameter metal tube used for grease injection, which is mainly used for automobiles. Background Technology

[0003] The prior art disclosed in the prior art document (Patent Document 0001) is suitable for straightening long tubes because it allows the straightness of the tube to be corrected as it passes through a straightening tool.

[0005] However, the aforementioned prior art entails a problem in that when a metal tube has a welded joint at one end, such as in an automotive grease injection tube, the welded joint cannot pass through the straightening tool, making it impossible to correct the straightness of the metal tube at all.

[0007] And the prior art disclosed in the prior art document (Patent Document 0002) corrects the straightness by pressing the spindle body with a plurality of roller bodies while rotating the spindle, so it is suitable for correcting the straightness of parts such as spindles made of strong materials.

[0009] However, the aforementioned prior art has the disadvantage that when correcting the straightness of a metal tube, such as an automotive grease injection tube, which is made of a material that is relatively softer than the spindle and has a small diameter, the outer surface of the metal tube may be damaged, and since the straightness is corrected by rotating the spindle between multiple roller bodies arranged to face each other on both sides, the straightness correction rate is reduced if the spacing between the roller bodies facing each other on both sides is not accurate. In addition, since the spindle to be corrected must be placed between the roller bodies facing each other, spindle replacement is inconvenient and takes a long time, which leads to a problem of reduced productivity. [0012] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device for correcting the concentric straightness of a small-diameter metal tube for grease injection, which is mainly used for automobiles, capable of precisely correcting the concentric straightness of the small-diameter metal tube for grease injection.

[0014] Another objective of the present invention is to improve productivity by enabling easy replacement and installation of a small-diameter metal tube for grease injection. means of solving the problem

[0016] The present invention is characterized by comprising a pneumatic rotating chuck having a plurality of jaws that operate to clamp the body of a metal tube by pneumatic air and rotates by receiving motor power, a reciprocating moving member provided on one side of a metal tube that is clamped to the pneumatic rotating chuck and stands upright, which is guided by a pneumatic cylinder and moves reciprocally in a horizontal direction, and a correction means having a concentricity correction block provided on one side of the upper end of the reciprocating moving member and which contacts the upper edge of the rotating metal tube to correct concentricity.

[0018] Another feature is that the above-mentioned reciprocating member is moved in the direction of the metal tube so that the downward inclined surface on one side of the concentric correction block pushes the upper edge of the rotating metal tube in one direction to bend the metal tube, and then the reciprocating member is moved in the opposite direction of the metal tube so that the downward inclined surface of the concentric correction block moves through the straight centerline of the metal tube, thereby correcting the center of the metal tube to coincide with the straight centerline.

[0020] Another feature of the above correction means is that the anti-detachment wheel portion on the lower side of the reciprocating member is inserted into the guide grooves on both sides of the guide rail and moves, and a plurality of rolling balls are mounted on the four corners of the rail portion on the upper side of the guide groove to enable rolling motion, and one connecting portion of the reciprocating member is inserted into the intermediate connecting groove of a connector provided at the end of the piston rod of a pneumatic cylinder and connected by a connecting pin to transmit power.

[0022] Another feature is that it is configured to further provide a concentricity measuring means that measures the concentricity of the metal tube by the amount of displacement of the horizontal moving shaft moving in the longitudinal direction and applies a measurement signal to a control unit, by providing a concentricity correction measuring sensor fixed to a clamp that moves horizontally back and forth by pneumatic cylinder power on one side of a metal tube that is clamped to the pneumatic rotating chuck and stands upright, and a horizontal moving shaft part having a contact sensing part that contacts the outer surface of the metal tube on one side of the concentricity correction measuring sensor. Effects of the invention

[0024] The present invention has the effect of providing a device for correcting the concentric straightness of a small-diameter metal tube for grease injection, which can precisely correct the concentric straightness of the small-diameter metal tube for grease injection.

[0026] Furthermore, since the small-diameter metal tube for grease injection can be easily replaced and installed, the present invention provides the effect of significantly improving productivity by reducing the time required to replace the metal tube. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0029] The present invention will be described in more detail below based on the attached preferred embodiments.

[0031] Embodiments of the present invention may be modified in various forms, and the scope of the present invention should not be interpreted as being limited to the embodiments described in detail below. These embodiments are provided to more fully explain the present invention to those with average knowledge in the art. Detailed drawings and descriptions of known functions and configurations, or of off-the-shelf components and control circuits such as known pneumatic cylinders or pneumatic units that supply compressed air to pneumatic cylinders, which are judged to unnecessarily obscure the essence of the present invention, may be omitted.

[0033] Accordingly, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the present invention is configured such that a pneumatic rotary chuck (10) can be rotated by the power of a motor (11) in the center of the base (1). As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the power of the motor (11) is driven to rotate the pneumatic rotary chuck (10) having a plurality of jaws (14) provided on the upper part of the spindle (13) by being coupled with the spindle (13) of the pneumatic rotary chuck (10) by means of a belt (12) and a pulley (12').

[0035] In addition, the jaw (14) is driven to clamp or unclamp by compressed air supplied from a pneumatic unit (not shown) to the pneumatic rotary chuck (10). Since this pneumatic rotary chuck (10) is a known commercially available part, detailed drawings and descriptions are omitted. Reference numeral 15 indicates a pneumatic connection part, and reference numeral 16 indicates a control part.

[0037] Meanwhile, FIG. 3 shows a small-diameter metal tube (T) for grease injection in which the concentric straightness is corrected by the present invention, and to aid in understanding the present invention, it will be described by abbreviating it as a metal tube (T).

[0039] Accordingly, the metal tube (T) is fixed by welding (W) the body (Ta) to the bottom. Therefore, the concentric straightness of the metal tube (T) may be distorted by welding heat, and if the concentric straightness is distorted beyond the tolerance range, work errors may occur when, for example, it is introduced into an automatic production line; thus, correction of the concentric straightness of the metal tube (T) is required after the welding work. For reference, when the body (Ta) is fixed to the pneumatic rotating chuck (10) and rotated, the end wobble of the metal tube (T) must be within 0.2 mm.

[0041] Accordingly, the present invention is such that the body (Ta) of the metal tube (T) is fixed to the jaw (14) of the pneumatic rotating chuck (10), and the motor (11) is operated to rotate it, and the concentric straightness of the metal tube (T) is corrected by a correction means (20) provided on one side of the pneumatic rotating chuck (10).

[0043] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the correction means (20) is configured such that a long guide rail (22) is fixed to the upper part of the support (21), and a reciprocating member (23) is provided on the guide rail (22) so as to be able to reciprocate in the longitudinal direction.

[0045] Referring to FIG. 6, a guide groove (22a) provided on both sides of the guide rail (22) is configured to allow the anti-detachment wheel (23a) provided on the lower side of the reciprocating member (23) to be inserted and moved, and a plurality of rolling balls (22c) are provided in the longitudinal direction of the rail section (22b) at each of the four corners of the rail section (22b) provided on the upper side of the guide groove (22a), so that when the reciprocating member (23) moves along the rail section (22b), the rolling balls (22c) perform a rolling motion, thereby enabling the reciprocating member (23) to move smoothly back and forth.

[0047] Accordingly, a concentric correction block (24) is fixed to one side of the reciprocating member (23) so as to protrude to one side, and the concentric correction block (24) is configured to have a downward inclined groove (24b) with a downward inclined surface (24a) as shown in FIG. 7 at one end and anti-detachment jaws (24c) on both sides thereof, as will be explained again later. In this configuration, the upper part of the tube (Tb) of the metal tube (T) is inserted into the downward inclined groove (24b) and rotated, and the upper part of the tube (Tb) is rotated while the upper part of the tube (Tb) is not detached by the anti-detachment jaws (24c) on both sides.

[0049] Meanwhile, the reciprocating member (23) is configured such that a pneumatic cylinder (25), which is fixedly provided on one side of the support (21) as shown in FIG. 5, can be reciprocated by driving. A connector (26) having an intermediate connecting groove (26a) is fixed to the tip of the piston rod (25a) of the pneumatic cylinder (25), and a connecting part (23b) on one side of the reciprocating member (23) is inserted into the intermediate connecting groove (26a) and connected by a connecting pin (26b).

[0051] Therefore, since the piston rod (25a) and the connecting part (23b) are connected by the connecting part (26) and the connecting pin (26b), even if the piston rod (25a) moves in a straight line with slight eccentricity due to tolerance, the reciprocating moving member (23) moves in a straight line well along the guide rail (22).

[0053] Referring to FIG. 4, the present invention is configured such that a concentricity measuring means (30) for measuring the concentric straightness state of a metal tube (T) is provided on one side of a pneumatic rotating chuck (10) opposite to a calibration means (20).

[0055] The concentricity measuring means (30) is configured such that a clamp (33) is fixed to the piston rod (32a) of a pneumatic cylinder (32) which is fixed to a support (31), and a concentricity correction measuring sensor (34) is fixed to the clamp (33) so that when the piston rod (32a) reciprocates in the horizontal direction, the concentricity correction measuring sensor (34) also reciprocates in the horizontal direction.

[0057] And the concentric correction measuring sensor (34) is equipped with a horizontal movement shaft (34b) having a contact detection part (34a) at one end, so that the concentric correction measuring sensor (34) detects the measurement amount based on the amount of displacement of the horizontal movement shaft (34b) moving horizontally. Since such a concentric correction measuring sensor (34) is already known, detailed drawings and descriptions are omitted.

[0059] Accordingly, the present invention causes the body (Ta) of the metal tube (T) to be engaged with the pneumatic rotating shaft (10) as shown in FIG. 4 so that the metal tube (T) stands upright, and then rotates the pneumatic rotating shaft (10) by the power of the motor (11) so that the metal tube (T) rotates.

[0061] Meanwhile, to aid in understanding the present invention, it is defined and explained that when the pneumatic cylinder (25) is driven so that the piston rod (25a), the reciprocating member (23), and the concentric correction block (24) move in the direction of the metal tube (T), this is referred to as forward movement or forward movement, and conversely, when the pneumatic cylinder (25) is driven in reverse so that the piston rod (25a), the reciprocating member (23), and the concentric correction block (24) move in the direction of the pneumatic cylinder (25), this is referred to as backward movement or backward movement.

[0063] Accordingly, the present invention is operated such that, as shown in FIG. 8, the piston rod (25a) is moved forward by operating the pneumatic cylinder (25) of the correction means (20), thereby causing the reciprocating member (23) to move forward in the direction of the metal tube (T), so that the downward inclined surface (24a) of the concentric correction block (24) comes into contact with the upper edge (Tc) of the metal tube (T). At this time, the reciprocating member (23) is moved further forward so that the concentric correction block (24) pushes the metal tube (T) further in the horizontal direction, thereby causing the metal tube (T) to be slightly bent as shown in FIG. 8.

[0065] Accordingly, as shown by the dashed line in FIG. 9, the concentric correction block (24) is pushed further horizontally than the straight center line (S) of the metal tube (T) so that the upper part of the concentric correction block (24) is bent in an eccentric state. Then, the pneumatic cylinder (25) is driven in reverse again so that the reciprocating member (23) and the concentric correction block (24) are slowly moved backward in the direction of the pneumatic cylinder (25) as shown by the solid line in FIG. 9, so that they pass through the straight center line (S) and the downward inclined surface (24a) separates from the upper edge (Tc) of the metal tube (T). This causes the metal tube (T) to straighten out into a straight state, thereby correcting the concentricity so that the center of the metal tube (T) coincides with the straight center line (S). Of course, the amount of bending of the metal tube (T) is such that it is not significantly visible to the naked eye.

[0067] That is, the present invention is configured such that a reciprocating moving member (23) is moved in the direction of the metal tube (T) to push the upper edge (Tc) of the rotating metal tube (T) in one direction so that the metal tube (T) is bent, and then the reciprocating moving member (23) is moved in the opposite direction of the metal tube (T) so that the downward inclined surface (24a) of the concentric correcting block (24) moves through the straight center line (S) of the metal tube (T) to correct the metal tube (T) so that it aligns with the straight center line (S).

[0069] Therefore, in the present invention, as the concentric correction block (24) is slowly moved backward in the direction of the pneumatic cylinder (25) as shown by the solid line in FIG. 9, when the downward inclined surface (24a) of the concentric correction block (24) separates from the upper edge (Tc) of the metal tube (T), the center of the metal tube (T) becomes aligned with the straight center line (S), and the concentric straightness of the metal tube (T) is corrected.

[0071] At this time, only the upper corner (Tc) portion of the concentric correction block (24) comes into contact with the downward inclined surface (24a) and rotates, so the concentric straightness of the metal tube (T) is corrected without scratching or damaging the outer surface of the concentric correction block (24).

[0073] Accordingly, when the metal tube (T) is in a state where the concentric straightness is corrected as described above, the operation of the pneumatic cylinder (25) is stopped by a command from the control unit (16), and then the pneumatic cylinder (32) of the concentricity measuring means (30) is operated by a command from the control unit (16) so that the contact detection unit (34a) is operated to come into contact with the outer surface of the metal tube (T).

[0075] Here, to aid in understanding the present invention, it is defined and explained that when the pneumatic cylinder (32) is driven so that the concentric alignment measuring sensor (34), which is fixed to the piston rod (32a) and the clamp (33), moves in the direction of the metal tube (T), this is referred to as forward movement or forward movement, and conversely, when the pneumatic cylinder (32) is driven in reverse so that the piston rod (32a) and the concentric alignment measuring sensor (34) move in the direction of the pneumatic cylinder (32), this is referred to as backward movement or backward movement.

[0077] Accordingly, the present invention allows the concentricity correction measuring sensor (34) to move forward in the direction of the metal tube (T) so that the contact detection part (34a) contacts the outer surface of the metal tube (T) as shown in FIG. 10. At this time, if the concentricity of the metal tube (T) is in a normal state, the horizontal movement shaft part (34b) moves horizontally with no displacement at all or moves horizontally within the movement tolerance range (0.2 mm). Conversely, if the concentricity is eccentric, the horizontal movement shaft part (34b) moves horizontally with a displacement amount greater than the movement tolerance range (0.2 mm). The concentricity correction measuring sensor (34) detects this displacement of the horizontal movement shaft part (34b) and applies a detection signal to the control unit (16).

[0079] And in the control unit (16), when a detection signal is applied indicating that the concentric straightness of the metal tube (T) is measured in a normal state, a buzzer (not shown) rings and a green lamp (not shown) lights up, whereas when a detection signal is applied indicating that the concentric straightness of the metal tube (T) is measured in an abnormal state, a red lamp (not shown) lights up, thereby allowing the acceptance or rejection of the correction state of the concentric straightness of the metal tube (T). Since the control circuit that controls the operation of the correction means (20) and the concentricity measuring means (30) by the control of the control unit (16) is a known control circuit, a detailed circuit diagram and circuit description are omitted.

[0081] Meanwhile, although the present invention has been described as a device for correcting concentric straightness for small-diameter metal tubes for grease injection, it may also be used as a device for correcting concentric straightness for small-diameter welded tubes or circular copper tubes that are identical or similar.

[0083] Therefore, the present invention is not necessarily limited to what is illustrated and described in the drawings, and since it may be modified and implemented in various forms by those skilled in the art to which the invention pertains, it is obvious that it should be broadly protected as long as it does not deviate significantly from the scope of the claims.
