Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a safety management system for civil engineering or construction sites, and more specifically, to an LED safety indicator that visually informs workers of the safety status of the site by displaying detection information from an electrical meter installed at the site in real time, and a site safety management system including the same. Background Technology

[0002] At construction sites where civil engineering or building construction is underway, various types of measuring instruments are installed to measure structural loads, displacements, and strains. Among these instruments are electrical measuring devices (load gauges, displacement gauges, strain gauges, etc.) that measure physical changes occurring in response to external forces by converting them into electrical signals.

[0003] As such, an electrical measurement system is operated at the site that uses electrical measuring instruments to measure the load, displacement, strain, etc., of site structures and collects and provides the measured values.

[0004] In addition, recent electrical measurement systems combine LED modules with electrical meters to display information on structural changes in real time via the LED modules based on the measured values, notifying on-site workers and enabling them to respond in advance to dangerous situations such as ground collapse.

[0005] For example, the present applicant introduced a ‘method and system for on-site safety management using the Internet of Things’ through Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2023-0106025 (prior art), and the main configuration thereof is illustrated in FIG. 1.

[0006] Referring to FIG. 1, the field safety management system of the prior art comprises a plurality of IoT sensor modules (11) installed on a structure at a work site, a plurality of IoT display modules (12) installed at the work site to display the risk level of the site to a worker, a data logger (13) that receives measurement data from the plurality of IoT sensor modules (11), determines the risk level of the site, transmits a risk level display command to the IoT display modules (12), and transmits the site data to the application server (14), a field management application server (14) that analyzes the risk level of each site by comprehensively analyzing the data of each site transmitted from the data logger, and a comprehensive status board (14a) that analyzes the data transmitted from the plurality of sites and displays the risk levels of the plurality of sites respectively. The data logger (13) communicates with the IoT sensor modules (11) or the IoT display modules (12) via a LoRa network according to the LoRa protocol to receive measurement data packets or transmit risk level display command data packets, and operates in Class A with the IoT sensor modules (11), and the IoT The display module (12) is characterized by being operated in class C.

[0007] The field safety management system of the aforementioned prior art has the effect of enabling rapid response to urgent dangerous situations by having a field data logger quickly determine the level of risk in the first instance using a simple risk assessment algorithm and immediately display it at the site, and also efficiently achieving safety management through more accurate risk analysis by precisely analyzing the level of risk in the second instance from the trend of changes in data accumulated on the safety management application server.

[0008] However, the field safety management system of the prior art has the disadvantage that the safety management system becomes complex and difficult to implement because the data logger must communicate with the IoT sensor module and the IoT display module, respectively, and a LoRa network must be implemented between them.

[0009] In addition, the field safety management system of the prior art has the problem of increasing system implementation costs because it requires a number of IoT display modules corresponding to each IoT sensor module. Prior art literature

[0022] The technical problems achieved by the present invention and its implementation will be clarified by the preferred embodiments described below. Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be examined in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0023] It should be understood that the differences in the embodiments described below are not mutually exclusive. Furthermore, similar reference numerals in the drawings refer to the same or similar functions across various aspects, and lengths, areas, thicknesses, etc., and their shapes may be exaggerated for convenience.

[0024] FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the main configuration of a field safety management system according to the present embodiment, FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing the main configuration of an LED indicator according to the present embodiment, FIG. 4 is a diagram showing various lighting examples of an LED indicator according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 5 is a block diagram showing the main configuration of a safety management server according to the present embodiment.

[0025] First, referring to FIG. 2, the field safety management system of the present embodiment includes a sensor module (200) mounted on a measuring instrument (210), an LED safety indicator (100) that displays the safety status of a structure according to a signal transmitted from the sensor module (200), a safety management server (300) that manages safety at the site, and a manager terminal (400) that sets the criteria for determining safety and the lighting conditions of the LED safety indicator.

[0026] Here, the sensor module (200) and the LED safety indicator (100) are connected via a short-range communication module, the LED safety indicator and the safety management server (300) are connected via a long-range communication module, and the safety management server (300) and the administrator terminal (400) can also be connected via a long-range communication module.

[0027] The safety management server (300) is connected to a plurality of LED safety indicator lights (100) to form a network. Additionally, there may be multiple measuring instruments (210) installed on a single structure at the site, and since a sensor module (200) is mounted on each measuring instrument, the LED safety indicator lights (100) can be connected to multiple sensor modules (200). For example, at a tunnel construction site, measuring instruments (210) consisting of an underground displacement measuring instrument, a shotcrete measuring instrument, and a rock bolt measuring instrument may be installed on the ground at a specific location, and a sensor module (200) is mounted on each of these measuring instruments.

[0028] Specifically, the sensor module (200) converts the amount of physical change detected by the measuring instrument (210) into an electrical signal and transmits it to the LED safety indicator (100). The sensor module (200) and the LED safety indicator (100) can be connected via a short-range wired or wireless communication network, and, for example, can be connected to each other via Bluetooth or a serial communication cable. For this purpose, the sensor module (200) is equipped with a Bluetooth module or a serial port.

[0029] The sensor module (200) is composed of multiple units provided for each of the multiple measuring systems of the measuring instrument (210). For example, the sensor module (200) may be provided for the underground displacement measuring system, the shotcrete measuring system, and the rock bolt measuring system, and each sensor module (200) converts the amount of physical change measured therefrom into an electrical signal. Multiple sensor modules (200) may be connected to a single LED safety indicator (100). At this time, each sensor module (200) may have a unique identification code, and the LED safety indicator (100) may distinguish each sensor module (200) and the measuring instrument (210) by the identification code included in the transmitted signal.

[0030] The LED safety indicator (100) is configured to classify the state of a structure from a signal transmitted from a sensor module (200) and to visually display the structural state information of the classified result to the outside through LED lighting. Additionally, the LED safety indicator (100) transmits the signal transmitted from the sensor module (200) to a safety management server (300), receives the analyzed structural state information from the safety management server (300), and displays it through LED lighting. For this purpose, the LED safety indicator (100) is installed in a location easily recognizable from the worker's line of sight around a measuring instrument (210) installed on a structure at a specific location, and is installed to enable wired or wireless communication with the sensor module (200).

[0031] As such, the LED safety indicator (100) of the present embodiment receives signals detected by the measuring instrument (210) from a plurality of sensor modules (200), classifies them into safe, caution, or dangerous states according to the level of risk, and notifies the status information of the structure through LED lighting, thereby enabling workers at the site to recognize it easily and quickly.

[0032] Referring to FIG. 3, the LED safety indicator (100) for this purpose includes a first communication module (110) that receives detection signals from a plurality of sensor modules (200), a second communication module (120) that transmits detection signals from the sensor modules (200) to a safety management server (300) and receives a risk level signal from the safety management server (300), a state classification unit (130) that classifies the state of a structure based on detection signals and a preset reference signal, a lighting control unit (140) that controls the lighting of an LED light-emitting unit (150) according to the grade and risk level signal classified by the state classification unit (130), and an LED light-emitting unit (150) that is lit according to the control of the lighting control unit (140), and further includes a power supply unit (not shown) that provides driving power for each component.

[0033] Here, the first communication module (110) is capable of short-range communication with a plurality of sensor modules (200) and receives detection signals from the plurality of sensor modules (200) at a predetermined interval. For this purpose, the first communication module (110) is configured with means corresponding to the communication means of the sensor module (200), and, for example, can be configured with Bluetooth or a serial communication cable to form a short-range communication network with each sensor module (200). The first communication module (110) is configured to receive detection signals from each measuring instrument (210) while communicating with the plurality of sensor modules (200) simultaneously or sequentially.

[0034] The second communication module (120) is configured to enable communication between the LED safety indicator (100) and the safety management server (300), and is composed of a wireless communication module capable of long-distance communication. For example, the second communication module (120) may use a wireless communication network such as 4G or 5G, and may include a USIM chip capable of communicating using these wireless communication networks. The second communication module (120) transmits a detection signal from the sensor module (200) to the safety management server (300) and receives risk level information and reference signal information from the safety management server (300).

[0035] The state classification unit (130) classifies the grade of the structure's state by comparing the detection signal transmitted from the sensor module (200) with the reference signal transmitted from the safety management server (300). For example, the state classification unit (130) may classify the state as a safety grade if the detection signal is less than or equal to a first reference signal, a caution grade if it exceeds the first reference signal but is less than or equal to a second reference signal, and a danger grade if it exceeds the second reference signal. At this time, the signal serving as the criterion for the grade classification may be received from the safety management server (300), and the safety management server (300) may arbitrarily set the reference signal according to the conditions of the work site and provide it to the LED safety indicator (100). The state classification unit (130) transmits the classified grade information to the lighting control unit (140).

[0036] The state classification unit (130) classifies multiple detection signals by sensor module (200) and can distinguish each sensor module (200) according to the unique code of the sensor module (200).

[0037] The state classification unit (130) receives risk information of the structure from the safety management server (300) and transmits the received risk information to the lighting control unit (140) so that the LED light-emitting unit (150) is lit based on the risk information. At this time, the state classification unit (130) may transmit the risk information analyzed by the safety management server (300) to the lighting control unit (140) in priority over the grade information classified by the signal of the sensor module (200).

[0038] The lighting control unit (140) controls the LED light-emitting unit (150) to light up according to the grade information transmitted from the state classification unit (130). For example, the lighting control unit (140) can control the LED light-emitting unit (150) to light up with a green light of a safety grade, a yellow light of a caution grade, or a red light of a danger grade according to the grade information transmitted from the state classification unit (130).

[0039] The lighting control unit (140) controls the LED light-emitting unit (150) to display grade information based on detection signals from a plurality of sensor modules (200), and can control the grade information to be displayed in a single mode for one sensor module (200) as in FIG. 4 (a), or in a multi-mode for a plurality of sensor modules (200) as in FIG. 4 (b). In this case, in the single mode, the grade information for a plurality of sensor modules (200) will be controlled to be displayed sequentially and repeatedly. Accordingly, grade information for signals measured by a plurality of measuring instruments (210) can be displayed through a single LED light-emitting unit (150).

[0040] Additionally, the lighting control unit (140) can control the display of information indicating the measuring instrument to which the corresponding signal was measured, along with the grade information displayed in single mode or multi mode. Thus, the operator can know the status or risk information regarding individual elements such as the load, displacement, strain, etc. of the structure.

[0041] Additionally, the lighting control unit (140) controls the LED light-emitting unit (150) to display risk information transmitted from the state classification unit (130). At this time, when risk information is transmitted from the state classification unit (130), the lighting control unit (140) controls the LED light-emitting unit (150) to display risk information instead of the grade information currently being displayed. Accordingly, the LED light-emitting unit (150) displays risk information analyzed by the safety management server (300) in priority over individual grade information classified based on the signal of the sensor module (200), thereby enabling the worker to recognize comprehensive risk information regarding the structure.

[0042] The LED light-emitting unit (150) is configured to display status information or risk level information of the structure under the control of the lighting control unit (140) to notify nearby workers. The LED light-emitting unit (150) may be composed of a plurality of LEDs as an LED assembly for displaying information.

[0043] The LED safety indicator (100) with the above configuration is mounted inside a housing that forms the main body while chips performing each function are mounted on a printed circuit board, and an LED assembly is combined on one side of the main body to form an integrated module.

[0044] Referring again to FIG. 2, the safety management server (300) collects detection signals from a sensor module (200) from a plurality of LED safety indicator lights (100) and manages them cumulatively, analyzes and determines the overall risk level based on the accumulated signals, and provides the determined result back to the LED safety indicator lights (100) to display the risk level.

[0045] As illustrated in FIG. 5, the safety management server (300) for this purpose includes a detection signal collection unit (310) for collecting signals detected by a sensor module (200) from a plurality of LED safety indicator lights (100), a DB management unit (320) for managing the collected signals cumulatively by classifying them by LED safety indicator lights (100) and sensor modules (200), a risk analysis unit (330) for determining the risk level of a structure by analyzing the changes in detection signals by LED safety indicator lights and sensor modules managed by the DB management unit (320) according to a predetermined risk analysis algorithm, and a reference signal setting unit (340) for setting the level of a reference signal to classify the grade of the detection signal. Additionally, although not illustrated, the safety management server (300) includes a communication module for communicating with LED safety indicator lights (100) and an administrator terminal (400).

[0046] The detection signal collection unit (310) collects detection signals from the sensor module (200) of each field measuring instrument (210) transmitted from the status classification unit (130) of the LED safety indicator (100). At the work site, multiple measuring instruments (210) and LED safety indicators (100) are installed at multiple locations to measure the amount of change for each structure and to display status information, and the detection signal collection unit (310) collects detection signals from the multiple LED safety indicators (100).

[0047] The DB management unit (320) cumulatively stores and manages detection signals collected from the detection signal collection unit (310). The DB management unit (320) stores and manages detection signals by classifying them according to the structures at the site, namely the LED safety indicator (100) and the sensor module (200). The DB management unit (320) identifies the LED safety indicator (100) based on USIM chip information and also identifies the sensor module (200) within the same LED safety indicator (100) based on unique code information.

[0048] The risk analysis unit (330) analyzes changes in accumulated data of multiple LED safety indicator lights (100) and sensor modules (200) managed by the DB management unit (320) at regular intervals according to a predetermined risk analysis algorithm, and determines the risk level of the structure at the location where the LED safety indicator light (100) is installed. The risk analysis unit (330) determines the risk level of the structure by comprehensively analyzing detection signals from multiple sensor modules (200). The risk information analyzed and determined by the risk analysis unit (330) is transmitted to each LED safety indicator light (100).

[0049] The risk analysis unit (330) determines the risk level of a structure in which a specific LED safety light (100) is installed based on the data of the LED safety light (100) as well as the data of surrounding LED safety lights (100). For example, when a measuring instrument (210) and an LED safety light (100) are installed in tunnel inner wall structures at positions A, B, and C that are continuous and spaced apart by a predetermined distance, the risk analysis unit (330) determines the risk level of the structure at position B by referring to the data of the LED safety light (100) installed at position B as well as the data of the LED safety light (100) installed at positions A and C.

[0050] For example, in determining the risk level of a structure at location B, if the analysis is based solely on the data from the LED safety indicator (100) at location B, it is determined to be a safe level. However, if the structure at location A is changed to a dangerous level based on the data from the LED safety indicator (100) at location A, the cause of the change may be transmitted to or immediately occur in the structure at location B. Therefore, the risk analysis unit (330) takes this into account and determines the structure at location B as a caution level or a dangerous level so that the worker can take an interest and prepare in advance.

[0051] Likewise, the risk analysis unit (330) analyzes and determines the risk level of a structure at location A by referring to the data of the LED safety indicator (100) installed at location A as well as the data of the LED safety indicator (100) installed at location B or another location, and analyzes and determines the risk level of a structure at location C by referring to the data of the LED safety indicator (100) installed at location C as well as the data of the LED safety indicator (100) installed at location B or another location. In this way, the risk analysis unit (330) can improve the accuracy of the analysis and judgment and the safety of the site by referring to the data of the LED safety indicator (100) installed at neighboring locations.

[0052] The reference signal setting unit (340) sets a reference signal for classifying the grade of the detection signal in the status classification unit (130) of the LED safety indicator (100) and transmits it to the LED safety indicator (100). That is, the reference signal setting unit (340) sets a signal that serves as a standard for classifying the detection signal into a safety grade, a caution grade, or a danger grade. At this time, the setting of the reference signal can be performed directly by the administrator through the administrator terminal (400). Therefore, the administrator can control the LED safety indicator (100) to display a caution grade by changing the reference signal considering surrounding circumstances even when a safety grade is displayed, or conversely, control the LED safety indicator (100) to display a safety grade by changing the reference signal considering surrounding circumstances even when a caution grade is displayed.

[0053] A safety management server configured as described above can improve the accuracy of risk assessment regarding the condition of structures and enhance on-site safety, and can also improve the efficiency of on-site work by controlling risk assessment to vary depending on the situation at the site.

[0054] As described above, exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been illustrated and described; however, various modifications and other embodiments may be made by those skilled in the art. Such modifications and other embodiments are all taken into account and are included in the appended claims and do not depart from the true spirit and scope of the present invention.
