Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an eco-friendly tumbler, and more specifically, to an eco-friendly tumbler that maximizes eco-friendliness by using coffee grounds discarded after coffee production as a raw material, as well as improves strength and durability, and in particular, allows for the replacement of the inner lining to reduce the need for direct cleaning maintenance, thereby ensuring more hygienic and convenient use outdoors where cleaning maintenance is difficult. Background Technology
[0002] The use of disposable plastic cups in indoor establishments, such as coffee shops, accounts for the largest proportion of plastic consumption; therefore, to minimize the consumption of disposable cups, policies banning the provision of disposable cups in indoor stores are being introduced, and the use of reusable cups (such as mugs) inside the store is being encouraged.
[0003] However, it has been pointed out that despite such recommendations, there is a realistic limitation in that the use of disposable plastic or paper cups when leaving stores is still frequent.
[0004] Recently, the use of tumblers has been actively encouraged as a countermeasure against environmental problems such as global warming and marine pollution caused by the use of disposable plastic cups or disposable paper cups.
[0005] A tumbler is a large cup without a base or handle and with a flat bottom. It has a relatively large capacity that allows you to drink beverages over a long period of time, is lightweight and portable, has excellent heat retention with a double-walled vacuum insulation structure, and has a lid that can be opened and closed, so many people carry and use it in their daily lives as well as in sports and leisure activities.
[0006] Meanwhile, the reality is that portable tumblers, due to their portability, present various inconveniences when used for extended periods outdoors where conditions for separate cleaning are not available, making it difficult to clean and reuse them.
[0007] Furthermore, considering that the very purpose of using a tumbler is to be environmentally conscious, it is a reality that we cannot overlook the fact that the water and detergent used during frequent washing of tumblers can actually be pointed out as causes of environmental pollution. [0023] The eco-friendly tumbler according to the present invention can be defined as comprising an outer skin (100), an inner skin (200), and a fixing ring (300).
[0024] The outer skin (100) has a tubular shape with an open top and follows the appearance of a conventional tumbler, and forms the appearance of an eco-friendly tumbler according to the present invention.
[0025] The outer skin (100) itself can be used alone to contain a beverage inside, but it is preferable to combine the inner skin (200) with the outer skin (100) so that the beverage is directly contained in the inner skin (200) for use.
[0026] That is, the eco-friendly tumbler according to the present invention prevents the outer skin (100) from being directly contaminated by a beverage, thereby reducing the need for direct cleaning of the outer skin (100), and ensures more hygienic and convenient use outdoors where cleaning is difficult by replacing only the inner skin (200) with a new one from the outer skin (100) depending on the situation.
[0027] The inner skin (200) is inserted into the inner side of the outer skin (100) and is configured to receive the beverage inside by adhering to the inner surface of the outer skin (100) as the beverage is filled, thereby covering the entire inner surface of the outer skin (100) to prevent the beverage from leaking directly toward the outer skin (100), and in particular, by adopting a material that can be recycled after disposal, it is designed to be eco-friendly, preventing resource waste and environmental pollution after use as a single-use item.
[0028] The inner skin (200) ensures easy attachment and detachment toward the inner side of the outer skin (100), and is characterized by a structure that allows for removal from the outer skin (100) in a more effective manner, especially after use is finished, which will be described later.
[0029] When the inner skin (200) is attached to the inner side of the outer skin (100), the lower end of the inner skin (200) moves to the lowest end of the outer skin (100), and the upper end of the inner skin (200) is overlapped and covered around the upper circumference of the outer skin (100), while the fixing ring (300) is attached to the upper end of the outer skin (100) and the inner skin (200) that are overlapped in this way, thereby fixing the upper end of the inner skin (200) to the upper end of the outer skin (100), so that when a beverage is filled into the inner skin (200), the inner skin (200) is not sucked into the inner side of the outer skin (100), or when the beverage is consumed, the inner skin (200) is not separated by chance, thereby providing convenience of use.
[0030] Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings.
[0031] First, the inner skin (200) can be exemplified as largely comprising a vinyl bag member (210) and a skeletal ring (220).
[0032] The vinyl bag member (210) is made of a recyclable material, such as polyethylene (PE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene terephthalate (PET), considering that it can hold a beverage inside and is discarded after single-use.
[0033] That is, the vinyl bag member (210) can be understood in a broad sense as a common vinyl bag widely known and used for packaging food, but has unique characteristics in its specific structure.
[0034] Since these plastic bag materials (210) have a high recyclability and are environmentally friendly, it can be said that the burden of environmental pollution caused by disposal is relatively small after they are used once.
[0035] The vinyl bag member (210) can most preferably be manufactured using biodegradable plastics: PLA (Polylactic Acid). Biodegradable plastics are made from materials extracted from raw corn starch, etc., and can be said to have high utility in terms of being biodegradable in nature and more environmentally friendly.
[0036] As an example of a biodegradable plastic, the vinyl bag member (210) can be entirely made of PBAT (Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate) material.
[0037] Among the components of the inner skin (200), the vinyl bag member (210) is preferably discarded after a single use, and the skeletal ring (220) is configured to be permanently reusable unless special external damage is applied.
[0038] The skeletal ring (220) is detachably coupled to the bottom of the vinyl bag member (210) and gives the bottom shape of the vinyl bag member (210) a circular ring shape.
[0039] When the vinyl bag member (210) is attached to the inner side of the outer skin (100), the upper part of the vinyl bag member (210) is fixed to the upper circumference of the outer skin (100) by the fixing ring (300), but the lower part of the vinyl bag member (210), which is completely stored in the inner lower side of the outer skin (100), has a structure in which its shape is irregularly crumpled due to the flexible material characteristics, thereby limiting the internal space of the vinyl bag member (210) so that the beverage cannot be efficiently contained, or when stirring the beverage filled inside with a teaspoon, this crumpled part causes unnecessary interference with the teaspoon.
[0040] Accordingly, a circular ring-shaped skeletal ring (220) is attached to the bottom of the vinyl bag member (210) and acts as a supporting skeleton so that the bottom of the vinyl bag member (210) becomes a cylindrical shape complementary to the inner shape of the outer skin (100), thereby allowing the vinyl bag member (210) itself to be more appropriately attached to the inner surface of the outer skin (100) and the internal space to be easily opened to accommodate a beverage.
[0041] Also, the skeletal ring (220) acts as a weight to facilitate the vinyl bag member (210) being unfolded toward the inner lower surface of the outer skin (100). Since the skeletal ring (220) falls freely from the inner side of the outer skin (100) by its own weight and pulls the lower end of the vinyl bag member (210) downward, even if the vinyl bag member (210) is folded or bunched up, it can be unfolded more easily from the inner side of the outer skin (100).
[0042] These skeletal rings (220) may be composed of a magnetic material that reacts to a magnet, and this will be further explained in the description of the outer skin (100) to be described later.
[0043] In one embodiment, the vinyl bag member (210) may be exemplified as including a pocket (211), a fixing skirt (212), and an adhesive means (213).
[0044] The pocket (211) and the fixed skirt (212) are made of the same material and form an integrated vinyl bag member (210), and the adhesive means (213) may use a conventional adhesive to adhesively fix a part of the pocket (211) and the fixed skirt (212).
[0045] More specifically, the pocket (211) forms the upper part of the vinyl bag member (210) in the shape of a pocket with the top open.
[0046] The top of such pockets (211) can be covered to the upper outer side of the outer skin (100), while the open interior can accommodate a beverage, and the beverage can be isolated and accommodated by being in close contact with the inner side of the outer skin (100).
[0047] When specifying the specific shape of the pocket (211), it is preferable that the pocket (211) also have a cylindrical structure, as exemplified by the outer skin (100) having a cylindrical structure.
[0048] The fixed skirt (212) is configured to extend a certain length downward from the lower edge of the pocket (211) and has a structure that allows it to be rolled up toward the lower outer side of the pocket (211).
[0049] Accordingly, when the fixed skirt (212) that is unfolded and hanging down at the bottom of the pocket (211) is rolled up toward the outer surface of the bottom of the pocket (211), a space can be formed between the rolled-up fixed skirt (212) and the pocket (211) to place the skeletal ring (220), and when the skeletal ring (220) is placed in this space, a structure can be formed in which the fixed skirt (212) wraps around and secures the skeletal ring (220) around the bottom of the pocket (211).
[0050] At this time, an adhesive means (213) interposed between the lower outer side of the pocket (211) and the fixed skirt (212) adhesively fixes the fixed skirt (212) to the outer side of the pocket (211), thereby strongly fixing both so that the skeletal ring (220) interposed between the fixed skirt (212) and the pocket (211) is not arbitrarily separated.
[0051] When disposing of the vinyl bag member (210), the pocket (211) and the fixing skirt (212), which are integrated with each other by the adhesive means (213), are forcibly torn apart and damaged, thereby opening the space between them and extracting only the skeletal ring (220) to the outside for reuse.
[0052] Meanwhile, the lower edge of the pocket (211) is formed with a certain depth of indentation, so that a space is provided for inserting and positioning the skeletal ring (220) into the indented area, thereby ensuring that the skeletal ring (220) itself does not protrude further outward than the pocket (211).
[0053] If the skeletal ring (220) is structured to protrude further outward than the pocket (211) on the inner side of the outer skin (100), there is a concern that the pocket (211) will overlap irregularly around the skeletal ring (220), causing a problem in efficiently securing the internal space of the pocket (211).
[0054] Next, the outer skin (100) can be exemplified as largely comprising a body (110) and a magnetic body (120).
[0055] The body (110) is a component that forms the main skeleton of the outer skin (100), has a cylindrical structure with an open top, and accommodates a vinyl bag member (210) inside.
[0056] The body (110) may be made of a single material of metal or synthetic resin, or may have a double tube structure made of a mixture of metal and synthetic resin.
[0057] For example, the exterior of the body (110) is made of synthetic resin with design elements in mind, and the interior is made of aluminum, which is commonly used in tumblers, with consideration for thermal insulation and heat resistance.
[0058] A plurality of knurling grooves (114) are formed along the vertical direction on the outer surface of the body (110) to increase the gripping force when the body is gripped, thereby reducing the contact area between the hand and the body (110) so that the overheated body (110) can be gripped more easily.
[0059] In particular, when constructing the exterior, the coffee grounds generated after espresso extraction can be actively utilized to promote eco-friendliness.
[0060] It is known that the residue left after espresso extraction, known as "coffee grounds," produces a material hard enough to replace plastic.
[0061] When collected coffee grounds are gathered and completely dehydrated, and then heated to 300 to 700 degrees under oxygen-free conditions, the coffee grounds transform into a state close to pure carbon. This state is called biochar, a word combining biomass and charcoal. Using this biochar, the exterior of a composite material can be manufactured by injecting the inner tube as is or by extruding a mixture of coffee grounds and a polymer.
[0062] When the exterior is manufactured using coffee grounds in this way, the unique color, texture, and pattern of the coffee can be utilized as design elements, and the exterior manufactured in this way is strong enough to be used on a car dashboard, which can help improve the durability of the tumbler.
[0063] A first screw thread (d1) is formed in a certain section on the upper part of the body (110), and the fixing ring (300) is formed to be coupled to the upper part of the body (110). The fixing ring (300) has a circular ring structure that follows the body (110), and a second screw thread (d2) can be formed on the inner surface to engage with the first screw thread (d1) in a screw-coupled manner.
[0064] That is, while the fixing ring (300) can be strongly fixed to the top of the body (110) by a screw connection method, the top of the pocket (211) of the vinyl bag member (210) is fixed by being interposed between the first screw thread (d1) of the body (110) and the second screw thread (d2) of the fixing ring (300), so that the vinyl bag member (210) can be strongly fixed to the outer skin (100) unless the fixing ring (300) is separated from the body (110).
[0065] A magnet fixing groove (111) may be formed in the lower surface of the body (110) supported on the ground, and a magnet body (120) to be described later may be detachably inserted and coupled into this magnet fixing groove (111).
[0066] The magnetic body (120) is a permanent magnet that is detachably inserted and coupled into the magnetic fixing groove (111). When the magnetic body (120) is coupled to the magnetic fixing groove (111) while the inner skin (200) is inserted into the inner side of the body (110), the skeletal ring (220) reacts to the magnetic body (120) with magnetic force and is strongly adsorbed and fixed in the direction of the lower surface of the body (110) in which the magnetic body (120) is placed, thereby effectively restricting the movement of the inner skin (200) inside the body (110).
[0067] That is, the lower surface of the body (110) is positioned in the center, the skeletal ring (220) is positioned above it, and the magnetic body (120) is positioned below it, so that the skeletal ring (220) can be adsorbed and fixed around the lower surface of the body (110) by the magnetic force of the magnetic body (120).
[0068] When the skeletal ring (220) is fixed by adsorption to the lower surface of the body (110) in this way, the movement of the inner skin (200) inside the body (110) is minimized during the process of the body (110) tilting or moving, thereby allowing the beverage to be received and supported more stably.
[0069] Conversely, if the magnetic body (120) is arbitrarily removed from the magnetic fixing groove (111), it is natural that the lower fixing force of the inner skin (200) is lost.
[0070] Meanwhile, when disposing of the plastic bag material (210) of the inner skin (200), it is recommended that the food inside the plastic bag material (210) be completely removed and only the recyclable components be separated and disposed of as a separate disposal method. In severe cases, if this is violated and recyclable items are disposed of in a disorderly manner, it may result in a fine. Therefore, before disposing of the plastic bag material (210), the food contained in the plastic bag material (210) must be removed. Typically, when removing a beverage with excellent flowability, one simply needs to lightly tilt the eco-friendly tumbler to let the beverage inside flow out. However, if the food has high viscosity or contains solid ingredients, it is impossible to cleanly remove it from the plastic bag material (210) by simply tilting it to let it flow out.
[0071] Accordingly, a method can be considered to easily remove food from the plastic bag member (210) by using a magnetic body (120) to lift the plastic bag member (210) inserted inside the body (110) upward to more easily open the food inside, or by forcibly twisting the plastic bag member (210) to squeeze out the food.
[0072] To this end, a long straight first guide groove (112) may be formed on the outer surface of the body (110) to guide the insertion of a magnet body (120) separated from the magnet fixing groove (111) in an up-and-down direction.
[0073] When the magnetic body (120) is separated from the magnetic fixing groove (111), the adsorption fixing force of the skeletal ring (220) can be removed from the lower surface of the body (110). In this state, when the separated magnetic body (120) is inserted into the first guide groove (112) formed on the outer surface of the body (110) and moved upward, the freely movable skeletal ring (220) is pulled upward while being magnetically adsorbed and fixed to the magnetic body (120) moving along the first guide groove (112), and a structure is provided in which the vinyl bag member (210) is lifted to a certain height from the inner lower surface of the body (110).
[0074] Accordingly, by making it easier to expose food to the open top of the body (110), it becomes possible to easily remove food remaining in the plastic bag member (210).
[0075] In addition, a second guide groove (113) for inserting a magnet body (120) separated from a magnet fixing groove (111) in a circumferential direction may be formed on the outer surface of the body (110) and connected to the upper end of the first guide groove (112).
[0076] If the first guide groove (112) has a vertically elongated straight groove structure and guides the magnet body (120) in a vertical straight line, the second guide groove (113) is formed in a circular path along the outer circumference of the body (110) from the top of the first guide groove (112) and can guide the magnet body (120).
[0077] Accordingly, the magnetic body (120) moved to the top of the first guide groove (112) can be rotated circumferentially around the body (110) along the second guide groove (113). When the magnetic body (120) is rotated around the body (110) in this way, the top of the vinyl bag member (210) is fixed to the top of the body (110) by the fixing ring (300). When the skeletal ring (220) inside the body (110) is pulled and rotated in accordance with the rotational movement of the magnetic body (120), the bottom of the vinyl bag member (210) rotates relative to the body (110), thereby inducing twisting at the middle point of the vinyl bag member (210).
[0078] That is, when the vinyl bag member (210), which is lifted to a certain height inside the body (110), is continuously twisted, the food contained in the vinyl bag member (210) is pushed upward and discharged, thereby inducing forced discharge.
[0079] Therefore, before removing the inner skin (200) from the outer skin (100), the viscous food contained in the vinyl bag member (210) of the inner skin (200) can be preemptively and easily discharged, thereby preventing the outer skin (100) from being unnecessarily contaminated during the removal process of the inner skin (200), and thus the effect of maximizing convenience of use can be expected.
[0080] The embodiments of the present invention described above are merely illustrative, and those skilled in the art will readily understand that various modifications and equivalent alternative embodiments are possible therefrom. Therefore, it will be understood that the present invention is not limited only to the forms mentioned in the detailed description above. Accordingly, the true technical scope of protection of the present invention should be determined by the technical spirit of the appended claims.
