Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a synthetic wood fence connector that allows horizontal members installed between posts constituting the fence to be installed in all cases regardless of the installation angle, and also prevents movement of the horizontal members and facilitates angle adjustment. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, fences are installed at the edges of parks, hiking trails, etc., at the boundaries between sidewalks and roads where people pass, at the edges of deck walkways, etc., and serve as a type of fence to mark boundaries, protect the safety of passersby, and control access.

[0003] These fences are generally installed at different heights depending on the terrain where they are installed, by connecting horizontal members between the posts and circular or square posts installed on the ground or the upper surface of a deck.

[0004] However, when installing multiple fences between vertically extending posts, while construction is easy on flat surfaces, there were problems such as the difficulty of the work and the resulting long working time required in sloped sections where the installation surfaces of the posts differed, as it was necessary to cut both ends of the horizontal members to match the slope angle and install separate connectors suitable for each angle.

[0005] In addition, with the recent development of eco-friendly materials, fences utilizing various types of composite wood that offer a natural beauty reminiscent of wood rather than a metallic feel are being widely installed. However, due to the material properties of composite wood, deformation occurs at the joints between the posts and horizontal members. Consequently, problems are arising where horizontal members warp or the posts supporting them are damaged because the materials are unable to withstand this deformation.

[0006] As a solution to the aforementioned problems, the posts and horizontal members forming the fence are connected to each other through a connecting device with a relatively complex structure. In the case of conventional fence connectors, most require a relatively large number of parts, resulting in a complex assembly process and long connecting sections, which made fence installation difficult.

[0007] In addition, conventional railing or fence connectors had the problem of requiring the use of multiple parts or the use of complex molds to enable rotation in the forward, backward, or left and right directions when the posts and horizontal members were installed.

[0008] In addition, conventional railing or fence connectors had a structural problem in that the connection between the post and the horizontal member was formed in an arc shape, which could easily cause shaking or movement. Prior art literature

The hinge bracket (120) is configured such that the housing portion (300) is connected by a fastening member (300) that acts as a hinge. The rotation of the hinge bracket (120) is as described above. By means of the rotation limiting projection (124) of the hinge bracket (120), the hinge bracket (120) can rotate within the insertion fastening portion (112), and the maximum rotation angle can be limited to 90°. The rotation limiting projection (124) further has a position fixing projection (1241) formed therein to fix the position of the hinge bracket (120). The relationship between the position fixing projection (1241) of the rotation limiting projection (124) and the projection grooves (11231a, 11231b) of the rotation limiting groove portion (1123) is as described above.

[0032] FIG. 7 illustrates that the housing part (200) is fastened to the hinge bracket (120) by a fastening member (300). On the upper surface (1221) of the bracket body (122) of the hinge bracket (120), a vibration braking surface (125) is formed in the shape of an upward sloping surface extending from the center to both sides to prevent shaking of the housing part (200). That is, the vibration braking surface (125) is composed of a central flat surface and upward sloping surfaces on both sides of the center, thereby preventing the housing part (200) from shaking easily. Additionally, a corresponding braking surface (222) corresponding to the vibration braking surface (125) is further formed on the hinge projection (220) of the housing part (200). That is, the corresponding braking surface (222) is composed of a central flat surface and upward sloping surfaces extending from the center to the four corners. Accordingly, when the housing part (200) is mounted to the hinge connecting member (123) of the hinge bracket (120) by the fastening member (300), movement such as shaking or movement can be restricted by the braking surfaces on both sides.

[0033] FIG. 8(a) illustrates a hinge connector (123) of a composite wood fence connector (10) that is easy to prevent movement and adjust angles, connecting a post (2) and a horizontal member (3) in a vertical form, and FIG. 8(b) illustrates a hinge connector (123) that is easy to prevent movement and adjust angles, connecting a post (2) and a horizontal member (3) in a horizontal form. FIG. 9(a) illustrates a horizontal member (3) connected horizontally to a post (2) by a composite wood fence connector (10) that is easy to prevent movement and adjust angles, and FIG. 9(b) illustrates a horizontal member (3) connected to a post (2) at an angle. That is, as shown in the drawings, it can be seen that installation is possible in various ways depending on the angle in the horizontal plane and the angled plane. In addition, it is evident that it is also possible to install it at a constant angle on a horizontal plane. Therefore, it can be seen that the synthetic wood fence connector (10) according to the present invention, which is easy to prevent movement and adjust angles, can connect the support post (2) and the horizontal member (3) at various angles depending on the installation form. Furthermore, the synthetic wood fence connector (10) according to the present invention, which is easy to prevent movement and adjust angles, has the advantage of providing a sense of stability to pedestrians because, after the horizontal member (3) is fixed to the support post (2), the shaking braking surface (125) and the corresponding braking surface (222) are formed at an angle and are seated on the inclined surface, thereby restricting movement such as shaking or moving easily.
