Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an elevator control system and a control method thereof. Background Technology

[0003] Generally, elevators installed for vertical movement within a building may have skewed passenger usage times due to the characteristics of the building's occupants.

[0004] For example, if a building houses company offices, passengers are concentrated during rush hour, evening rush hour, and lunchtime.

[0005] Meanwhile, passengers may experience various inconveniences when using elevators during peak traffic hours, such as commuting times, evening rush hours, and lunchtime.

[0006] Among these, if the operation of the elevator car is disrupted by a passenger's false call, a serious problem may arise where the passenger is trapped in the elevator car.

[0007] More specifically, during peak hours amidst traffic congestion, there may be instances where passengers are unable to board elevator cars due to them being full.

[0008] Based on this learning, the majority of passengers register a call in the opposite direction of their intended destination and attempt to board first. Next, when the elevator car becomes full and the last car call service in that direction is being provided, if passengers do not disembark, the operation of that elevator car is restricted.

[0009] In other words, since there are no more car calls, the elevator car does not operate for previously registered hall calls or newly registered hall calls.

[0010] As a result, the elevator car remains stopped at the floor where the last car call service was performed, and passengers are practically unable to move to the floor they wish to go to.

[0011] In addition, existing and new passengers who have been assigned the corresponding unit on other floors face the problem of having to wait for a long time. Prior art literature

[0043] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of an elevator control system according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a false call verification unit in the elevator control system illustrated in FIG. 1.

[0044] As described above, the elevator control system (1000) includes an operation control unit (1100) and an operation support unit (1200).

[0045] More specifically, the operation control unit (1100) includes a full-occupancy confirmation unit (1110), a false call confirmation unit (1120), and a fault resolution automatic call unit (1130).

[0046] The operation support unit (1200) includes a data collection unit (1210) and a fault solving learning unit (1220).

[0047] The full-capacity confirmation unit (1110) checks whether the elevator car has reached full capacity and whether the elevator car has reached full capacity during operation.

[0048] The false call verification unit (1120) verifies whether the malfunction is caused by a passenger's false call registration when the elevator car is full.

[0049] That is, the false call verification unit (1120) checks whether a passenger has registered a call in the opposite direction of the direction they intend to go and whether a malfunction has occurred because no one has gotten off at the registered floor.

[0050] In addition, it can be confirmed that elevator car operation failures occurred due to false calls in the following three cases.

[0051] First, if the vehicle remains full even after a set amount of time has elapsed since the door opening wait began due to the passenger's last car call service, it may be determined that the operation was disrupted by a false call.

[0052] Second, if the vehicle remains full even after a set amount of time has elapsed since the door began closing due to the passenger's last car call service, it may be determined that the operation was disrupted by a false call.

[0053] Third, if the vehicle remains full even after a set amount of time has elapsed following the completion of the door closing due to the completion of the passenger's last car call service, it may be determined that there is an operational failure caused by a false call.

[0054] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the false call verification unit (1120) may include a stop layer verification unit (1121), a direction of travel verification unit (1122), and a learning data utilization unit (1123).

[0055] The stop floor confirmation unit (1121) can confirm the stop floor before an operational failure occurs in the elevator car that is full.

[0056] The direction of travel confirmation unit (1122) can check the direction of travel before a malfunction occurs in the elevator car that is full.

[0057] The learning data utilization unit (1123) can check for false calls by utilizing data related to the occurrence of elevator car operation failures in a full state.

[0058] That is, the learning data utilization unit (1123) can utilize data regarding conditions in which an elevator car failure occurred while it was previously full (e.g., time of failure, floor of failure, direction of travel when failure occurs, etc.).

[0059] To resolve the operational failure, the failure resolution automatic call unit (1130) can provide a car call for the reference floor to the elevator car where the failure occurred.

[0060] The standard layer is a registration layer for car calls to resolve the failure when a failure occurs due to full capacity caused by false calls.

[0061] The reference floor can be registered in advance to take into account the elevator car's stopping floor and the direction of the elevator car immediately before the occurrence of an operational failure.

[0062] Next, the operation support unit (1200) is intended to provide data and learning data necessary for the control of the operation control unit.

[0063] The data collection unit (1210) can collect data regarding operation failures, including operation information of the elevator car, full operation information, time of failure occurrence, and floor where failure occurred.

[0064] In addition, data can be collected regarding whether the elevator car is full, the number of times, and the direction of travel during peak hours (e.g., lunch time, commuting time).

[0065] The problem-solving learning department (1220) learns about the operation failure when the elevator car is full and the methods to solve the operation failure.

[0066] To this end, the fault resolution learning unit (1220) performs learning on the full-capacity condition of the elevator car, learning on the collection of data related to elevator car operation, and learning on the setting of the standard floor.

[0067] The driving support unit (1200) according to one embodiment of the present invention is configured as described above and provides the data obtained through the data collection unit (1210) and the fault resolution learning unit (1220) and the driving fault resolution solution to the false call verification unit (1120) and the fault resolution automatic call unit (1130) of the driving control unit (1100).

[0068] The false call verification unit (1120) can verify whether the passenger's false call is the cause of the problem by using data and solution information provided by the operation support unit (1200).

[0069] The fault resolution automatic call unit (1130) uses data and solution information from the operation support unit (1200) to provide a car call for the reference floor to the elevator car where the operation failure occurred.

[0070] Accordingly, if the elevator car stops in a full state due to a passenger's false call input, the fault resolution automatic call unit can automatically provide a car call to the reference floor in the opposite direction of travel.

[0071] For example, during the peak lunch hour from 11:50 to 12:10, most passengers try to move to the lobby floor.

[0072] At this time, if the elevator car moving to the lobby floor is full, passengers cannot board the elevator car.

[0073] Through this experience, passengers register an elevator car call in the opposite direction, rather than to the lobby floor.

[0074] Subsequently, when the elevator car moving to the upper floor becomes full and the last car call service to the upper floor is completed, the elevator car stops operating when the elevator door opens and closes, causing an operational failure.

[0075] At this time, the stoppage of the elevator car's operation can be confirmed in real time through the control unit (not shown).

[0076] In addition, the cessation of elevator car operation may be confirmed through the operation of the video device, load cell, or emergency button inside the elevator car.

[0077] To resolve the operational failure, the automatic call unit for resolving the failure (1130) provides a car call to the lobby floor. Accordingly, the elevator car is moved to the lobby after the operational failure is resolved.

[0078] In addition, the automatic call unit for troubleshooting (1130) can provide a warning of a failure to the elevator car before a failure occurs when the elevator door opens and closes.

[0079] In this case, the elevator car passenger recognizes that an operational failure will occur due to a false call and can prevent the failure by getting off the elevator before the last door opens and closes due to the false call.

[0080] As another example, during peak hours in the morning, passengers waiting in the lobby to go to the upper floors may be unable to board if the elevator car moving from the basement is full.

[0081] At this time, passengers on the lobby floor can call the basement floor and attempt to board the descending elevator car.

[0082] Afterwards, when the descending elevator car becomes full and the last car call service to the lower floor is completed, an operational failure occurs when the elevator door opens and closes.

[0083] The fault resolution automatic call unit (1130) provides a car call to the lobby floor to resolve the operation failure. Accordingly, the elevator car that has experienced an operation failure can be moved to the lobby.

[0084] An elevator control system according to one embodiment of the present invention may be implemented with only a full-occupancy confirmation unit and an automatic call unit for fault resolution. That is, for various operational failures of the elevator car, the operational failure may be resolved by providing a reference floor.

[0086] FIG. 3 is a flowchart schematically illustrating a control method of an elevator control system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0087] As described above, the control method (S1000) of the elevator control system includes a step of checking whether fullness has occurred (S1100), a step of checking whether a failure has occurred due to misuse (S1200), a step of checking the standard floor for automatic resolution (S1300), and a step of automatically registering the standard floor (S1400).

[0088] More specifically, the step of checking whether full capacity has occurred (S1100) is a step of checking which elevator car is full of passengers among the elevator cars in operation.

[0089] The step of checking whether a malfunction occurred due to misuse (S1200) checks whether an operation malfunction occurred due to a false call by a passenger through the step of checking whether the elevator car is full (S1100) and the step of checking whether the elevator car is full through the false call check unit (1120).

[0090] In addition, the step of checking whether the malfunction is caused by misuse (S1200) can confirm that the elevator car's operation has been disrupted by a false call in the following three cases.

[0091] First, if the vehicle remains full even after a set amount of time has elapsed since the door opening wait began due to the passenger's last car call service, it may be determined that the operation was disrupted by a false call.

[0092] Second, if the vehicle remains full even after a set amount of time has elapsed since the door began closing due to the passenger's last car call service, it may be determined that the operation was disrupted by a false call.

[0093] Third, if the vehicle remains full even after a set amount of time has elapsed following the completion of the door closing due to the completion of the passenger's last car call service, it may be determined that there is an operational failure caused by a false call.

[0094] At this time, the last car call service refers to the case where the last car call is made to the moving floor, as described above.

[0095] For example, this is the case where an elevator car is moving upward from the 3rd floor and a car call is entered from the 10th floor landing for the 15th floor.

[0096] The automatic resolution reference floor verification step (S1300) is a step for verifying the reference floor to resolve the operation failure when it is confirmed through the verification step (S1200) whether the failure occurred due to misuse that the operation failure was caused by a false call.

[0097] At this time, the standard floor is a step of identifying a standard floor to provide a car call to an elevator car that has a malfunction, taking into account the direction of travel of the full elevator car, the stopping floor of the full elevator car, the operating time and operating characteristics of the elevator car.

[0098] For example, if an operational failure occurs on an upward floor while an elevator car is ascending during lunch or after-work hours, the reference floor may be identified as the lobby floor.

[0099] Additionally, the operation support unit (1200) can provide a reference layer for operation failures through the data collection unit (1210) and the fault resolution learning unit (1220).

[0100] The standard floor automatic registration step (S1400) provides the standard floor confirmed through the standard floor verification step to the elevator car that has experienced an operational failure.

[0101] As the control method (S1000) of an elevator control system according to one embodiment of the present invention is performed as described above, it is possible to quickly identify and resolve operational failures caused by false calls.

[0103] FIG. 4 is a flowchart schematically illustrating a specific example of a control method of an elevator control system illustrated in FIG. 3.

[0104] As described above, the control method (S2000) of the elevator control system includes checking whether fullness has occurred (S2100), checking whether a malfunction has occurred due to passenger misuse (S2200), checking for an automatic resolution standard floor (S2300), and registering a standard floor (S2400).

[0105] More specifically, the confirmation of the elevator car that is full (S2100) checks the elevator car that is full of passengers among multiple elevator cars for group management.

[0106] Confirmation of whether a malfunction occurred due to passenger misuse (S2200) is performed by checking whether an operation malfunction occurred due to a passenger's false call through a false call confirmation unit (1120) for an elevator car that is full among multiple elevator cars.

[0107] Automatic resolution reference floor lookup (S2300) is a step to check the reference floor to resolve a driving failure when a driving failure occurs due to a false call.

[0108] At this time, the operation support unit (1200) can provide a standard floor to resolve the operation failure of the elevator car caused by a false call.

[0109] The reference floor registration (S2400) provides a reference floor to the elevator car that has experienced an operational failure.

[0110] As the specific embodiment of the control method (S2000) of the elevator control system of the present invention is carried out as described above, the failure of an elevator car that has experienced an operational failure among a plurality of elevator cars can be quickly identified and resolved.

[0111] Through the aforementioned control, long waiting times for passengers can be prevented in advance, practical call service functions are improved, and elevator group management becomes possible.

[0113] Although the embodiments have been described above with reference to the limited drawings, those skilled in the art can apply various technical modifications and variations based on the above. For example, suitable results may be achieved even if the described techniques are performed in a different order than described, and / or if the components of the described system, structure, device, circuit, etc. are combined or assembled in a form different from described, or replaced or substituted by other components or equivalents.

[0114] Therefore, other implementations, other embodiments, and equivalents to the claims also fall within the scope of the claims set forth below. Explanation of the symbols
