Smart Metal Detection Device and Automated Monitoring System for Metal Detection Process

Abstract

The present invention provides a metal detection device comprising: a frame; a conveyor belt connected to the frame and guiding a metal detection process for an object including a product or a specimen to be performed; and a detection unit comprising a sensor unit for detecting the presence of the object, a metal detection unit for determining whether the object passing through the conveyor belt contains a metal component, an image collection unit for collecting image information of the object for which determination has been made, and a detection control unit for controlling the operation of the conveyor belt and the detection unit and displaying detection data received through the metal detection unit and the image collection unit; and an automatic monitoring system for a metal detection process using the metal detection device.
