Abstract

The present invention relates to a tension adjuster capable of adjusting the tension of a vehicle's endless track, and more specifically, to a tension adjuster capable of adjusting the tension of an endless track by receiving oil from a vehicle's oil tank. The tension adjuster according to the present invention comprises an oil supply joint, a cylinder, and a piston. The oil supply joint has a port formed so that one end protrudes from the vehicle and the other end is inserted into the vehicle to receive oil from the vehicle. The cylinder is coupled to one end of the oil supply joint to receive oil from the oil supply joint. The piston is mounted so as to slide by oil supplied into the cylinder to adjust the tension of the endless track of the vehicle. According to the present invention, the track tension adjuster receives hydraulic pressure from an oil supply joint inserted into the vehicle. Therefore, since hydraulic pressure is supplied without an externally exposed hydraulic hose to adjust the tension of the crawler track, the safety of the track tension adjuster can be enhanced.

Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a tension adjuster capable of adjusting the tension of a vehicle's endless track, and more specifically, to a tension adjuster capable of adjusting the tension of an endless track by receiving oil from a vehicle's oil tank. Background Technology

[0002] Because tracks make contact with the ground over a larger surface area than wheels, they provide better mobility in various terrains such as mud, snow, and sand, and allow for smooth movement even on rough terrain. They also distribute the vehicle's weight over a wider area, reducing pressure on the ground. This prevents the vehicle from easily damaging the ground. Furthermore, tracks provide greater traction, allowing them to exert significantly more force than wheels, which is a great help when traversing steep slopes or obstacles. Additionally, tracks offer high stability, reducing the risk of the vehicle tilting sharply or overturning. For these reasons, tracked wheels are used in armored combat vehicles, such as tanks and self-propelled artillery, that must operate even in extreme conditions.

[0003] The tracks of armored combat vehicles are equipped with a tension adjuster to maintain track tension. Prior art literature

[0004] Registered Patent No. 10-2082683 (Registration Date: February 24, 2020) Registered Patent No. 10-0192232 (Registration Date: December 10, 1998) Registered Patent No. 10-0276843 (Registration Date: October 4, 2000) The problem to be solved

[0005] Conventional track tensioners maintain the tension of the crawler tracks using hydraulic pressure from the oil tank of an armored combat vehicle. Since the tensioner is mounted on the exterior of the vehicle and the oil tank is located inside, it is connected to the oil tank via a hydraulic hose to receive the hydraulic pressure. Consequently, there was a problem of reduced safety due to the risk of damage caused by the hydraulic hose being exposed to the outside of the vehicle.

[0006] The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems. The present invention aims to provide a hydraulic pressure regulator capable of receiving hydraulic pressure from an oil tank without exposing the hydraulic hose. means of solving the problem

[0007] The tension adjuster according to the present invention comprises an oil supply joint, a cylinder, and a piston.

[0008] In addition, regarding the above-described length adjuster, it is preferable that the oil supply joint has an annular groove formed along the circumferential direction on the outer surface of one end, and that the port is formed to communicate from the other end to the groove. In this case, the cylinder is mounted to rotatably on one end of the oil supply joint by wrapping around the groove so as to receive oil from the groove. Effects of the invention

[0009] According to the present invention, the track tension adjuster receives hydraulic pressure from an oil supply joint inserted into the vehicle. Therefore, since hydraulic pressure is supplied without an externally exposed hydraulic hose to adjust the tension of the crawler track, the safety of the track tension adjuster can be enhanced. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0010] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of one embodiment of a length adjuster according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of FIG. 1, Figure 3 is a conceptual diagram of an oil supply joint in the embodiment of Figure 1. Specific details for implementing the invention

[0011] An embodiment of a length adjuster according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.

[0012] The tension adjuster according to the present invention is mounted on an armored combat vehicle, such as a tank or self-propelled gun, that uses a track, and adjusts the tension of the track. To this end, the tension adjuster includes an oil supply joint (10), a cylinder (15), and a piston (20).

[0013] The oil supply joint (10) has one end (12) protruding from the vehicle (1) and the other end (14) inserted into the vehicle (1), and a port (11) is formed to receive oil from the oil tank of the vehicle (1). At this time, an annular groove (13) is formed along the circumferential direction on the outer surface of the one end (12). The port (11) is formed to be connected from the other end of the oil supply joint (10) to the groove (13) so that oil is supplied to the groove (13).

[0014] The cylinder (15) is coupled to one end (12) of the oil supply joint (10) so as to receive oil from the oil supply joint (10). At this time, the cylinder (15) is mounted rotatably on one end (12) of the oil supply joint (10) by wrapping around the groove (13) so as to receive oil from the groove (13). A passage is formed in the cylinder (15) to guide the oil supplied from the groove (13) into the interior. Since the groove (13) in the oil supply joint (10) is formed in an annular shape along the circumferential direction on the outer surface and the cylinder (15) wraps around the groove (13), the cylinder (15) is always in communication with the groove (13) even when it rotates in the oil supply joint (10), so when oil is supplied from the port (11), the oil is guided into the interior of the cylinder (15).

[0015] The piston (20) is mounted so as to slide by oil supplied into the cylinder (15) to adjust the tension of the crawler track of the vehicle (1). That is, the piston (20) is inserted so as to slide into the cylinder (15), and slides when hydraulic pressure is supplied through the port (11).

[0016] In this embodiment, oil is supplied from the vehicle's oil tank through the oil supply joint (10) to maintain the tension of the crawler track. Then, it flows into the interior of the cylinder (15) through the port (11), and the incoming oil pressurizes the piston (20) to maintain the tension of the crawler track. Explanation of the symbols
