Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a method for removing and assembling a radome, and more specifically, to a method for precisely removing or reassembling a radome coupled to the upper part of an antenna in a vertical direction using an automated device for removing and assembling a radome comprising a bottom plate, a column, a top plate, a driving means, a lead screw, an assembly / disassembly trolley, a guide shaft, and a radome fixing jig. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, a radome is a dome-shaped protective structure that surrounds the exterior of a radar or satellite antenna and serves to protect the antenna from weather conditions or external impacts.

[0003] The radome is secured to the upper part of the antenna body using fastening means, and requires removal and reassembly during maintenance, inspection, or repair.

[0004] Conventionally, the removal and assembly of the radome were performed manually. Accordingly, a method was used in which at least three workers were involved to manually lift or lower the outer surface of the radome, and each operation took about two hours or more.

[0005] The manual method of removing radomes presents the following problems. First, there is a high risk of damage or scratches occurring if the radome collides with the antenna or internal structures during the removal process. Second, even if multiple workers support the radome simultaneously, it is difficult to maintain uniform horizontal alignment, leading to frequent interference with the antenna during detachment. Third, the high consumption of manpower and time results in increased maintenance costs. Prior art literature

[0006] The present invention has been devised to solve the aforementioned problems, and aims to provide a method for minimizing personnel and shortening work time by performing the removal and assembly of a radome stepwise and systematically using an automated device.

[0007] In addition, the present invention has another objective of preventing damage or scratches to the radome, antenna, or internal structure during the removal and assembly process by providing a method for precisely raising and lowering the radome vertically without error. means of solving the problem

[0008] The method for removing and assembling a radome according to the present invention for achieving the above objective is a method using an automated device for removing and assembling a radome comprising a bottom plate, a plurality of columns extending vertically from the bottom plate, a top plate coupled to the upper end of the columns (20), driving means installed on the top plate, lead screws vertically arranged and connected to the driving means, an assembly / disassembly trolley fixedly installed on the lead screws, a guide shaft installed through the assembly / disassembly trolley, and a radome fixing jig coupled to the upper surface of the assembly / disassembly trolley, characterized by comprising: a first step of attaching a fixing rod to the outer circumference of the radome; a second step of moving the device toward the radome so that the radome is accommodated in the internal space of the device; a third step of separating the assembly / disassembly trolley, attaching the detachable part to the outer circumference of the radome, and then combining and fixing it; a fourth step of fitting the radome fixing jig onto the fixing rod and attaching it to the assembly / disassembly trolley; and a fifth step of removing the radome by moving the assembly / disassembly trolley vertically upward along the guide shaft by operating the driving means to rotate the lead screws.

[0009] After the above fifth step, a sixth step may be further included in which the driving means are operated in reverse to move the radome vertically downward and reconnect it to the antenna.

[0010] In the first step above, the radome is screw-fixed at a predetermined position on the bottom plate.

[0011] In the third step above, the assembly / disassembly trolley is configured to be separable and connectable with a semi-circular trolley plate having an arc-shaped detachable part, and is assembled by attaching the detachable part to the outer surface from the side of the radome.

[0012] In the above fifth step, the guide shaft is installed at four locations between the top plate and the bottom plate so as to penetrate the assembly / disassembly trolley, guiding the radome to move vertically without error while maintaining the horizontal alignment of the assembly / disassembly trolley. Effects of the invention

[0013] The radome removal and assembly method of the present invention has the following effects.

[0014] First, by automatically raising and lowering the radome using a lead screw drive method driven by a motor and a reduction gear, the number of workers required can be significantly reduced from three or more to one compared to conventional manual work, and the work time can be shortened from more than two hours to within 30 minutes.

[0015] Second, since multiple guide shafts penetrate the assembly / disassembly trolley and are fixedly installed between the top plate and the bottom plate, the radome maintains horizontal alignment and moves vertically up and down precisely, thereby preventing damage or scratches to the radome or internal antenna structures during the removal and assembly process.

[0016] Third, since the radome fixing jig is attached to and detached from the assembly / disassembly trolley by being fitted onto the fixing rod on the outer surface of the radome, the connection and separation of the radome and the device are performed quickly and accurately, thereby improving the reproducibility of the operation. [0024] Hereinafter, the method for removing and assembling a radome according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9. The device (100) used in the method of the present invention is configured to include a bottom plate (10), a column (20), a top plate (30), a driving means (40), a lead screw (50), an assembly / disassembly trolley (60), a guide shaft (70), and a radome fixing jig (80), as shown in FIG. 1.

[0025] The floor plate (10) is a rectangular plate that supports the entire device, and the columns (20) are four rod-shaped members that extend vertically near the four corners of the floor plate (10), and a radome (300) is accommodated in the internal space formed by the columns (20). The top plate (30) is coupled to the top of the four columns (20), and a driving means (40) is installed on the top surface. The driving means (40) consists of a motor and a reduction gear and is installed in two locations, and a lead screw (50) is connected to the output shaft of each driving means (40) and extends downward through the top plate (30).

[0026] The assembly / disassembly trolley (60) is fixedly installed on the lead screws (50) and moves up and down along the lead screws (50), and is equipped with a detachable part (61) in the shape of an arc corresponding to the outer diameter of the radome (300). As shown in FIG. 2, the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) is configured to be separable and connectable with the detachable part (61) by means of a semi-circular trolley plate.

[0027] The guide shaft (70) is installed at four locations between the top plate (30) and the bottom plate (10) so as to penetrate the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) and guides the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) to maintain its horizontal level.

[0028] As shown in FIG. 7, the radome fixing jig (80) is attached to the upper surface of the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) and is detached by being fitted onto the fixing rod (81) on the outer surface of the radome (300).

[0030] The radome removal method of the present invention comprises the following first to fifth steps.

[0031] Step 1 (see FIG. 3): A fixing rod (81) is attached to the outer surface of the radome (300). The fixing rod (81) is fixed at a predetermined location along the circumferential direction of the radome (300) by screw fastening or bolt fastening. Then, the radome (300) is moved to a predetermined location on the bottom plate (10) and fixed by screw fastening.

[0032] Step 2 (see FIG. 3): Move the device (100) toward the radome (300) so that the device (100) is positioned so that the radome (300) and the antenna are accommodated in the internal space formed by the pillar (20).

[0033] Step 3 (see FIG. 4): Separate the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) into semicircular trolley plates and position them on both sides of the radome (300). Then, combine the two trolley plates to attach the detachable part (61) to the outer surface of the radome (300) and fix it to the assembly / disassembly trolley (60).

[0034] Step 4 (see FIG. 5): The radome fixing jig (80) is inserted into the fixing rod (81) on the outer surface of the radome (300) and attached to the assembly / disassembly trolley (60). The attachment is quickly achieved by inserting the radome fixing jig (80) into the fixing rod (81) without the need for separate tools.

[0035] Step 5 (see FIG. 6): When the driving means (40) are operated, the lead screws (50) rotate and the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) moves vertically upward along the guide shaft (70). Since the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) moves only in the vertical direction while maintaining horizontality by the guide shaft (70), the radome (300) is precisely lifted without tilting and removed from the antenna.

[0036] Step 6 (when assembling the radome): When reassembling the radome (300), the driving means (40) are operated in the reverse direction to move the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) vertically downward. After the radome (300) descends over the antenna and is reassembled, the radome fixing jig (80) is separated from the fixing rod (81), and the assembly / disassembly trolley (60) is separated into a semi-circular trolley plate and removed from the radome (300), thereby completing the assembly.

[0037] FIGS. 8 and FIGS. 9 show the assembly and disassembly (removal) operation states according to the method of the present invention, respectively, as a front view and a side view, and can be seen that the operation of the radome (300) moving up and down in a vertical direction within the device (100) can be confirmed.

[0038] The method of the present invention achieves significant effects of automation and improved safety in the removal and assembly of the radome (300) by precisely raising and lowering the radome (300) in the vertical direction without error using an automatic driving method by a motor and a reduction gear. Industrial applicability
