Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a heterogeneous material mixing kit that allows multiple different materials to be mixed and used to be stored separately, and allows the multiple materials stored separately to be conveniently mixed and used when in use. Background Technology

[0003] As is well known, various chemical or biochemical testing methods are used to measure biological indicators related to specific diseases, general health conditions, or infections. These chemical or biochemical tests are generally performed through multi-step chemical reactions and physical manipulations utilizing various reagents and instruments.

[0004] For example, when detecting biochemical substances such as occult blood, specific chemicals, or proteins contained in feces or mucus, several steps of physical manipulation are required, such as collecting a sample, placing the collected sample in a container to react with one or more reagents, and then dispensing the reacted sample from the container before applying it to a test / reading device.

[0005] When a sample to be analyzed, such as blood, a detection antibody labeled with a fluorescent substance, or whole blood is used, a solution (reagent) containing a reagent for erythrocyte lysis is mixed in a quantitative ratio and reacted, and the sample is loaded onto a sample pad of an analysis device or cartridge to perform analysis.

[0006] As such, solutions used in chemical or biochemical tests frequently consist of mixtures of multiple different substances. However, if multiple substances used for disease diagnosis are mixed in advance, they are susceptible to evaporation or moisture and can easily deteriorate; since this makes accurate diagnosis or analysis difficult, they must be stored in separate containers. During testing, these separately stored substances are either individually weighed and mixed using instruments such as pipettes, or the different substances are stored in separate containers according to a predetermined mixing ratio, poured into a single container to be mixed, and then dispensed using a pipette.

[0007] Therefore, not only is the storage of various substances used as reagents difficult, but diagnostic or analysis tasks are also considerably cumbersome.

[0008] Meanwhile, prior art document 1 discloses a dropper that can mix and dispense blood, a brominated latex ball, and a buffer solution with a single dropper by providing a tip portion that induces capillary action at the bottom of the lower part of the inlet tube containing a brominated latex ball.

[0009] However, prior art 1 has a problem in that, due to the nature of the dropper, the tip of the tip is open, so it must be managed in separate packaging, and it cannot be used when both substances to be mixed are liquids. Prior art literature

[0011] Korean Published Patent Application No. 10-2014-0068437 (Published June 9, 2014) The problem to be solved

[0012] The present invention was conceived in consideration of the various conventional problems described above, and its objective is to provide a heterogeneous substance mixing kit that allows multiple different substances to be used, for example, as diagnostic or analytical reagents, to be safely stored separately, and enables the separated and stored heterogeneous substances to be conveniently mixed for use.

[0013] The problems of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other problems not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below. means of solving the problem

[0015] A heterogeneous material mixing kit according to the present invention for achieving such objectives comprises: a first container member having a first filling space into which a first material is filled, a first shielding means for sealing the entrance of the first filling space, and a perforating member protruding axially by a predetermined length from the inner bottom of the first filling space; and a second container member having a second filling space into which a second material is filled, and inserted into the interior of the first container member through the entrance of the first container member when in use; wherein the second container member includes a second shielding means that shields one end of the second filling space but can be opened by the perforating member when the first and second container members are combined, and a third shielding means that shields the other end of the second filling space and can be opened when necessary.

[0016] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the second shielding means may be formed as a cutting shielding member having a ring-shaped cutting line at its edge corresponding to the inner circumference of the second filling space, so as to be formed integrally with the second container member, and capable of being cut from the second container member by a perforating member when the first and second container members are combined.

[0017] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the cut-out shielding member may have an edge portion configured to be inclined so as to be concavely inward into the second filling space.

[0018] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the second shielding means may be composed of a second sealing membrane that is pressed against one end of the second container member and through which a perforating member can pass when the first and second container members are joined.

[0019] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the perforating member may be formed with a cross-shaped, Y-shaped, or T-shaped cross section.

[0020] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the third shielding means may be a third sealing film in the form of a sticker that is pressed or attached to the top of the second container member and can be peeled off, or a stopper that is openably coupled to the top of the second container member. Effects of the invention

[0022] According to the heterogeneous material mixing kit of the present invention, since the first and second materials to be mixed with each other can be stored separately in first and second container members that are combined when used, multiple different materials to be mixed and used in chemical or biochemical tests, etc., can be safely stored in a separated state.

[0023] In addition, multiple substances stored separately can be easily mixed by simply combining the second container member with the first container member during inspection or analysis, and the mixed liquid can be easily dispensed by opening the stopper provided on the second container member and using a pipette or the like.

[0024] Therefore, there is no need to use separate containers or equipment for storing and mixing multiple substances to be mixed during diagnosis or analysis.

[0025] In addition, since multiple substances to be mixed can be stored in a sealed state in the first and second container members, they can be safely stored and mixed not only when they are liquid and solid but also when they are liquid and liquid, and there is an advantage of being able to store and mix heterogeneous substances regardless of the sampling volume. [0028] Specific features and other advantages of the present invention, and methods for achieving them, will become clear by referring to the embodiments described below in detail together with the accompanying drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below but may be implemented in various different forms. These embodiments are provided merely to ensure that the disclosure of the present invention is complete and to fully inform those skilled in the art of the scope of the invention, and the present invention is defined only by the scope of the claims. Throughout the specification, like reference numerals refer to like components.

[0029] In embodiments of the present invention, the first material and / or the second material may be a liquid or solid reaction reagent, specifically silica particles, proteins, amino acids, nucleic acids, lipids, carbohydrates, metabolites, reagents used as supports, antibodies for selectively separating proteins, detectors, blockers, optical signal enhancers, optical signal quenchers, or other reagents, but are not limited thereto.

[0030] Hereinafter, a heterogeneous material mixing kit according to embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0032] In FIGS. 1 to 4, the heterogeneous material mixing kit (1) according to the present invention may basically be composed of a first container member (10) and a second container member (20) inserted into the first container member (10).

[0034] The first container member (10) can store the first substance (L1) by filling it in a sealed state. The first container member (10) may be configured to include a tube-shaped body (11) having a first filling space (12) inside, and a perforating member (15) capable of opening the second shielding means of the second container member (20) described later when combined with the second container member (20).

[0035] The body (11) may take the form of a long cylindrical tube to facilitate gripping and dispensing, and one end (top) of the body (11) is open and functions as an inlet (12a) of the first filling space (12). The inlet (12a) of the body (11) is closed by a first shielding means after filling with the first material (L1) so as to safely seal the first material (L1) filled inside.

[0036] The first sealing means may be implemented in various forms. For example, it may be composed of a conventional plug (not shown), or it may be composed of a first sealing membrane (18) that is pressed against one end of the body (11) as shown. Accordingly, a flange (13) may be provided outwardly at the end of the body (11) toward the entrance (12a) to ensure stable attachment of the first sealing membrane (18).

[0037] Here, the first sealing film (18) may be configured to be torn by the second container member (20) when the first container member (10) and the second container member (20) are combined, or it may be in the form of a sticker that can be peeled off from the first container member (10) before combining the two, and either is acceptable. The first material (L1) may be a liquid or a solid such as granules, and in this embodiment, it is described as a liquid.

[0038] It is preferable to provide a ring-shaped first leak-prevention projection (14)(24a) at least one location on the upper inner circumference of the body (11) of the first container member (10) or on the outer circumference of the second container member (20). Preferably, for more reliable watertightness, it may be provided on both the inner circumference of the first container member (10) and the outer circumference of the second container member (20), and may also be provided in two or more locations spaced apart in the axial direction. These first leak-prevention projections (14)(24a) can prevent the mixing liquid from leaking when the first and second materials (L1)(L2) are mixed in the first filling space (12) by shaking after combining the first and second container members (10) as described later. Meanwhile, instead of the first leak-prevention projection (14)(24a), an O-ring may be provided on the outer circumference of the second container member (20).

[0039] The perforating member (15) may be formed integrally with the body (11). The perforating member (15) may be formed to protrude axially by a predetermined length from the inner bottom (12b) of the first filling space (12). Specifically, when the first container member (10) and the second container member (20) are completely combined, the tip of the perforating member (15) is formed with a length such that it can sufficiently encroach upon the second shielding means of the second container member (20) described later and enter the second filling space (22).

[0040] Although such perforating member (15) may be configured in various forms, it is preferable that it be formed in a structure such that after opening the second shielding means, the second material (L2) filled in the second filling space (22) of the second container member (20) can easily flow into the first filling space (12) of the first container member (10). In particular, as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, when the second shielding means of the second container member (20) described later is configured as a perforable second sealing film (25), it may be preferable that the perforating member (15) have a configuration that makes it easy to tear the second sealing film (25) by the bonding force of the first and second container members (10)(20) when the first and second container members (10)(20) are combined. To this end, the perforating member (15) may be configured to have a cross-shaped cross section with, for example, four ribs (16) formed radially, as shown in the illustration. This is because forming a cross-shaped cross section rather than a straight or circular one is advantageous for tearing the second sealing membrane (25) and also advantageous for forming a gap between the second sealing membrane (25) and the perforating member (15) after perforation.

[0041] Additionally, although not separately described, the perforating member (15) may be configured with a Y-shaped cross section or a T-shaped cross section. This configuration is also advantageous for tearing the second sealing membrane (25) just like the one formed with the aforementioned cross-shaped cross section, and may be advantageous for forming a gap between the second sealing membrane (25) and the perforating member (15) after perforation.

[0042] Meanwhile, the other end (bottom) of the first container member (10) may be provided with a support part (17) so that the first container member (10) combined with the second container member (20) can be safely set up when dispensing using a pipette (P), etc.

[0044] The second container member (20) has a second filling space (22) so that it can store a second material (L2) to be mixed with the first material (L1) in a sealed state. The second filling space (22) can be formed by penetrating the cylindrical body (21) in the axial direction. The lower opening (22b: the side fitted into the first container member) of the second filling space (22) can be sealed by a second shielding means that can be opened by a perforating member (15) when the first and second container members (10) (20) are combined. Additionally, the upper opening (22a) of the second filling space (22) can be sealed by a third shielding means that can be opened when necessary (when in use). A flange (23) is provided on the upper outer circumference of the body (21) to stably contact and support the third shielding means. And the second substance (L2) may also be a liquid or a solid such as granules, and in this embodiment, it is described as being a liquid, just like the first substance (L1).

[0045] The second shielding means may be composed of a cut-out shielding member (26) that is integrally formed with, for example, the second container member (20) and can be cut from the second container member (20) by the perforation member (15) when the first and second container members (10) (20) are combined.

[0046] The cut-off shielding member (26) may be configured as a disc-shaped member integrally formed on the inner surface of the lower opening (22b) of the second filling space (22), and may have a ring-shaped cut-off line (27) on the edge corresponding to the inner circumference of the second filling space (22). The cut-off line (27) has a very thin thickness relative to the thickness of the cut-off shielding member (27) by means of a cut-inducing groove (27a) formed by being drawn in from the surface of the cut-off shielding member (26), so that it can be easily torn and cut by the force applied to the cut-off shielding member (27) by the perforating member (15) when the first and second container members (10) (20) are combined. It may be preferable for the cut-inducing groove (27a) to be formed on the side in contact with the perforating member (15).

[0047] This cutting shield member (26) may be configured as a flat plate, but it may be better to have a shape that is concavely inwardly into the second filling space (22) so that it can be cut more easily when the first and second container members (10)(20) are combined. To this end, the cutting shield member (27) may have an edge portion formed as an inclined portion (28) that is appropriately inclined toward the second filling space (22), and may have a concave portion (29) on the lower surface where the tip of the perforating member (15) can be seated.

[0048] The third shielding means may be composed of, for example, a stopper (30) capable of opening and closing the upper opening (22a) of the second container member (20). The stopper (30) may be configured to include a disc-shaped shielding portion (31) that contacts the flange (23) of the second container member (20) and a cylindrical fitting portion (32) that is formed protruding from the lower surface of the shielding portion (31) and is fitted into the second filling space (22) through the upper opening (22a) of the second container member (20). A second leak-prevention projection (33) (24b) may be provided at least at one of the outer circumference of the fitting portion (32) of the stopper (30) or the upper inner circumference of the second filling space (22) of the second container member (20). The second leak-prevention protrusion (33)(24b) prevents the second material (L2) filled in the second filling space (22) from leaking during storage, and can be provided on both the outer circumference of the fitting part (32) and the inner circumference of the second filling space (22) to ensure more reliable leak prevention.

[0049] In addition, an opening / closing guide tab (34) may be provided on one side of the shielding portion (31) of the stopper (30) to allow the stopper (30) to be easily opened and closed. This stopper (30) may be configured as a separate unit separated from the second container member (20), or it may be configured as being integrally connected by a connecting tab (40) as illustrated.

[0050] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 6, this third shielding means may be composed of a sticker-type third sealing film (50) that can be peeled off from the second container member (20) after being pressed or attached to the top of the second container member (20) when in use, that is, after the first and second container members (10) (20) are combined together.

[0052] A method of using the heterogeneous material mixing kit (1) of the present invention as described above is explained in parallel with Fig. 5.

[0053] First, the first sealing film (18) sealing the inlet (12a) of the first container member (10) is removed by peeling it off, or the second container member (20) is fitted toward the open inlet (12a) of the first container member (10) with the first sealing film (18) attached. Then, the second container member (20) is inserted into the first filling space (12) of the first container member (10), thereby allowing the two to be integrally combined. At this time, when the second container member (20) is fitted with the first sealing film (18) attached, the first sealing film (18) is torn by the first container member (20), allowing the two to be integrally combined.

[0054] At the same time, the tip of the perforating member (15) comes into contact with and pressurizes the lower surface of the cut-off shielding member (26) of the second container member (20), and accordingly, the cut-off line (27) formed on the edge of the cut-off shielding member (26) is torn and cut from the second container member (20), thereby opening the lower opening (22b) of the second container member (20). Then, the first and second filling spaces (12) (22) are connected to each other, and the second material (L2) filled in the second filling space (22) of the second container member (20) can easily flow into the first filling space (12) of the first container member (10) through the opened lower opening (22b) of the second container member (20).

[0055] In this state, if the mutually combined heterogeneous material mixing kit (1) of the present invention is shaken appropriately, the first material (L1) and the second material (L2) can be thoroughly mixed within the first filling space (12) of the first container member (10).

[0056] Next, the third shielding means of the second container member (20) coupled to the first container member (10) is opened. At this time, if the third shielding means is composed of a stopper (30), the stopper (30) is opened, and if it is composed of a third sealing film, it is peeled off and removed from the second container member (20). Then, the upper opening (22a) of the second filling space (22) of the second container member (20) is opened, thereby allowing the first filling space (12) to be opened. In this state, it is possible to insert a tool such as a pipette (P) into the first filling space (12) through the opened second filling space (22) of the second container member (20) to extract and dispense the mixed liquid.

[0058] FIGS. 7 to 9 illustrate other embodiments of the second shielding means of the heterogeneous material mixing kit (1) according to the present invention.

[0059] This embodiment is configured such that, in the configuration of the above-described embodiment, the second shielding means is pressed against the bottom of the second container member (20), and the second sealing membrane (25) is formed such that the perforating member (15) can penetrate when the first and second container members (10) (20) are combined.

[0060] An embodiment of this configuration is illustrated in FIG. 8, in which the first and second container members (10)(20) are combined, the second sealing membrane (25) is torn and penetrated by the perforating member (15), and accordingly, the second filling space (22) communicates with the first filling space (12) through the inlet hole (25a) perforated in the second sealing membrane (25), so that the second material (L2) can flow into the first filling space (12).

[0062] A person skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains will understand that the present invention may be implemented in other specific forms without altering its technical concept or essential features. Therefore, the embodiments described above should be understood as illustrative in all respects and not restrictive. The scope of the present invention is defined by the claims set forth below rather than by the detailed description above, and all modifications or variations derived from the meaning and scope of the claims and equivalent concepts should be interpreted as being included within the scope of the present invention.
