Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a technology for managing carbon emission rights by establishing a multi-faceted carbon footprint verification correlation, and more specifically, to an automated carbon emission rights network system and a carbon emission rights management method that aggregates carbon emission information and calculates and updates greenhouse gases and carbon footprints at the corporate operational boundary by performing automated collection and processing through computer science technology. Background Technology

[0002] Greenhouse gases (GHGs) refer to gases capable of absorbing and re-radiating infrared radiation emitted from the Earth's surface. Greenhouse gases mainly include carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), and nitrogen trifluoride (NF3). The increase in these gases is primarily caused by human activities such as the combustion of fossil fuels, industrial production, and agricultural activities, leading to problems such as global warming, extreme weather events, and sea level rise, and causing severe impacts on humanity and ecosystems.

[0003] The United Nations is urging that action on carbon emissions is time-sensitive, and "net-zero carbon emissions" has become a common global challenge. In October 2021, SBTi released the Net-Zero Standard, which is the world's first framework for setting corporate net-zero goals aligned with climate science. Companies must set science-based net-zero targets to limit global warming to within 1.5°C. As of January 2024, 7,510 companies have already joined this initiative, 4,599 have set science-based carbon emission reduction targets, and 2,897 have pledged "net-zero emissions" targets. Therefore, if companies do not implement greenhouse gas verification and establish carbon emission reduction policies, it can impact their operational competitiveness. However, achieving carbon emission reduction or net-zero is not an easy task for companies; they must first incorporate greenhouse gas verification to set reduction targets and implement reduction policies, thereby reaching the goal of carbon neutralization.

[0004] According to the norms of International Greenhouse Gas Verification—ISO / CNS 14064-1 Greenhouse Gases—Part 1: Guidance on the Quantification and Reporting of Organizational-Level Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removal—and the scope of verification of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), as shown in Table 1, where Type 1 and Type 2, Category 1 and Category 2 are greenhouse gas emissions from business operations, and others are greenhouse gas emissions from upstream and downstream supply chain production.

[0006] Traditional corporate greenhouse gas verification completes the full scope of verification annually through document reports (e.g., Microsoft® Excel) or electronic platforms. However, regardless of the method used, calculating greenhouse gas emissions from the upstream and downstream supply chains requires collecting the following information (not limited to) from subsidiaries, financially merged companies, investors, outsourced factories, and upstream and downstream supply chains, all of which consume a significant amount of manpower and time.

[0007] 1. In the case of subsidiaries, companies merged with financial reports, and investment companies, there is a distribution ratio of carbon emissions from greenhouse gas verification of the above corporate organization and carbon emissions that the company must recognize (e.g., control of operation method or equity control method, etc.).

[0008] 2. In the upstream supply chain, there are carbon coefficients for purchasing and transporting goods, purchasing services, purchasing capital goods, using fuel and energy sources upstream, processing waste, and leasing products.

[0009] 3. In the downstream supply chain, there are carbon emissions from transporting products for sale, carbon emissions from post-processing, carbon emissions from use, carbon emissions from disposal, carbon emissions from leasing, carbon emissions from patent management, and carbon emissions from investment products.

[0010] In addition, the above carbon coefficient information can be updated annually or at regular intervals, and after acquiring real-time carbon coefficients, the greenhouse gas verification for the entire year can be calculated and updated.

[0011] Taking electronics manufacturing as an example, referring to the network diagram of carbon coefficient associations of products, accessories, and their suppliers shown in FIG. 1, the example represents the carbon coefficients for obtaining related goods or services of a certain model of notebook computer (10), 148 suppliers (100) are required to manufacture the notebook computer (10), and the accessories have a total of 1,154 material numbers, and the related accessory material number carbon coefficients are, respectively, 119 accessory material number carbon coefficients for processors / chips / integrated circuits (101), 14 accessory material number carbon coefficients for circuit boards (102), 907 accessory material number carbon coefficients for resistors / inductances / capacitors (103), 104 accessory material number carbon coefficients for mechanisms / connectors / wires (104), 3 accessory material number carbon coefficients for packaging materials / production consumables (105), 4 accessory material number carbon coefficients for storage devices / display screens (106), and others (107) 3 Includes the number of accessory materials and carbon coefficients.

[0012] According to the current method, most purchasing personnel obtain the 1,154 material number carbon coefficients from 148 suppliers (100) in the form of telephone, mail, or questionnaires, then collect the materials and provide them to a specialized department to calculate the carbon emissions of the above type.

[0013] Therefore, companies consume a large amount of artificial resources to process and acquire materials for carbon counts and emissions, perform aggregation and version control, and then complete the full range of greenhouse gas verification via software reports or electronic platforms. Finally, in response to the demands of different stakeholders (e.g., domestic policy regulations, international policy requirements, and international brand factories), they rapidly submit carbon-related management documents required by these stakeholders in real time; however, this remains one of the biggest challenges currently facing the industry.

[0014] Furthermore, in order for a company to calculate its own operating boundaries, it is required to submit "information on the full range of organizational greenhouse gases and the carbon footprint of products throughout their entire life cycle" across multiple operating boundaries. Therefore, the repeated submission and calculation is another of the biggest problems currently facing the industry, and one can refer to the example diagram of building carbon footprints between different existing operating boundaries shown in Figure 2.

[0015] In the drawing, an operational boundary (a) of one company includes organizational greenhouse gas (indicated as "organization" in the drawing) and product carbon footprint information (indicated as "product" in the drawing), and related upstream and downstream manufacturers each form operational boundaries (b), operational boundaries (c), and operational boundaries (d), etc., which include organizational greenhouse gas and product carbon footprint information; and upstream and downstream manufacturers related to an operational boundary (e) of another company form operational boundaries (f), operational boundaries (g), and operational boundaries (d), etc. According to the above example, as indicated by the connecting line (203), the operational boundary (d) related to operational boundary (a) is also related to operational boundary (e), that is, operational boundary (d) is simultaneously an upstream and downstream manufacturer of operational boundary (a) and operational boundary (e). In another aspect, as indicated by the connecting line (201), the operational boundary (b) related to operational boundary (a) is simultaneously an upstream and downstream manufacturer of itself (operational boundary (b)) and other operational boundaries (c).

[0016] In the complex upstream and downstream supply chain relationships described above, establishing operational boundaries formed by a company's organizational greenhouse gas and product carbon footprint information results in cumbersome issues under existing working methods, such as redundant calculations or the need to provide such information redundantly due to complex relationships. Therefore, under the demands of global net-zero emissions, carbon taxation, and perpetual motion, companies must establish their own operational boundaries for their related outsourced factories and supply chains. Furthermore, they may be required to submit organizational greenhouse gas and product carbon footprint information based on the operational boundaries of other companies. Since they must update, review, and exchange annual verification results, the difficulty of carbon footprint verification becomes increasingly complex and challenging as the complexity of the company's own operational boundaries and interrelationships between companies increases.

[0017] However, since the current method of carbon footprint verification generally relies on statistically analyzing relevant data using software, the lack of effective verification tools is making it increasingly difficult as the complexity of carbon footprints grows. The associated difficulties include, at the very least, the duplication of materials regarding organizational greenhouse gas verification and product carbon footprint information due to overlapping operational boundaries between companies, as well as the need to update this information annually. Furthermore, if a downstream manufacturer originally located within another company's operational boundary must establish its own operational boundary due to the demand for carbon footprint verification, it must request upstream, equivalent, or downstream manufacturers within that boundary, thereby consuming additional time and costs to repeat the same workflow.

[0018] In order to provide a system for processing carbon footprint verification data and building related documents in an automated manner, the specification provides an automated carbon emission allowance network system and a carbon emission allowance management method, wherein the automated carbon emission allowance network system built using a computer network system and software means can process collected carbon footprint verification data of companies and other upstream and downstream manufacturers and then build associations between companies and stakeholders, thereby effectively generating carbon footprint verification related documents required by different stakeholders.

[0019] According to one embodiment of the automated carbon emission rights network system provided in the specification, the system includes a carbon emission rights management digital platform that performs carbon footprint verification for an enterprise through a computer system, and the carbon emission rights management digital platform is primarily equipped with a carbon emission rights network establishment module, a carbon emission rights network connection module, and a carbon emission rights network update module.

[0020] The automated carbon emission allowance network system executes an automated carbon emission allowance management method through a carbon emission allowance management digital platform, wherein it receives carbon footprint verification data obtained through an application interface, at least one stakeholder, an internal carbon emission allowance management digital platform, one or more external carbon emission allowance management digital platforms, one or more external carbon emission allowance management report formats, and / or one or more automated customized questionnaires, automatically aggregates organizational greenhouse gas verification information and product carbon footprint information of upstream and downstream supply chains outside the operational boundary to perform version control, and updates organizational greenhouse gas verification and product carbon footprint information for each product life cycle across the entire range of one or more brands among the companies in real time in a digitized manner, wherein the operation of the automated carbon emission allowance management method comprises the step of a carbon emission allowance network establishment module establishing a carbon emission allowance network of the company based on reports from the company's operational boundary, wherein the carbon emission allowance network includes one or more operational boundaries of one or more external companies related to the company; A carbon emission allowance network connection module establishes a connection method between an enterprise's operational boundary and one or more related external operational boundaries, wherein the module connects one or more carbon emission allowance management digital platforms, one or more carbon emission allowance management report formats, and one or more automated customized questionnaires of each brand among one or more external enterprises through an application interface, or does not establish a connection method; and when carbon emission information of any one of the related one or more operational boundaries changes, the carbon emission allowance network update module updates the enterprise's operational boundary with the carbon emission information of the related one or more external operational boundaries and performs version control of carbon emission factors and emissions.

[0021] Here, at least one stakeholder includes one or any combination of government unit demand, environmental protection demand, international supply chain brand demand, international government demand, and regional alliance demand.

[0022] Here, the one or more carbon emission allowance management report formats mentioned above include self-report formats provided to the company by each stakeholder, and manage full-range organizational greenhouse gas verification and product carbon footprint information of the entire product life cycle in a reporting manner.

[0023] Additionally, the format of the aforementioned automated customized questionnaire includes the automated customized questionnaire format provided to the company by the carbon emission rights management digital platform of each brand among the aforementioned companies, and manages full-range organizational greenhouse gas verification and product carbon footprint information throughout the entire product life cycle via a questionnaire method.

[0024] Additionally, the reporting of the operational boundaries of the established corporate carbon emission rights network includes carbon emission information revealed by one or more of the company's subsidiaries, one merged company, one or more investment companies, one or more outsourced factories, and upstream and downstream supply chains.

[0025] Thus, after establishing a connection method for one or more external operational boundaries related to a company's operational boundary through a carbon emission allowance network connection module, request information can be transmitted to the companies of the one or more operational boundaries related thereto through the carbon emission allowance management digital platform, thereby requesting that the companies of the one or more operational boundaries related thereto receive and disclose carbon emission information be backpassed.

[0026] Additionally, the automated carbon emission allowance network system further includes a carbon emission allowance network progress table module, and the carbon emission allowance network progress table module can display information on the full range of organizational greenhouse gases and the carbon footprint of products throughout their entire life cycle, produced by the company in an interactive distribution manner, at one or more operational boundaries of one or more external companies related to the company.

[0027] The automated carbon emission allowance network system further includes a carbon emission allowance network reporting module, which submits information on the full range of organizational greenhouse gases produced by the company and the carbon footprints of products throughout their entire life cycle in real time as carbon-related management documents, in accordance with the needs of different stakeholders.

[0028] Furthermore, in implementing an automated carbon emission allowance management method on a carbon emission allowance management digital platform, a single carbon emission allowance network of a company is first established based on the reporting of a single operational boundary of the company through a carbon emission allowance network establishment module, and then a connection method between the company's said operational boundary and one or more related external operational boundaries is set through a carbon emission allowance network connection module. Here, a connection method is established, or a connection method is not set, for one or more carbon emission allowance management digital platforms, one or more carbon emission allowance management report formats, and / or one or more automated customized questionnaires of each brand among one or more external companies, primarily through an application interface.

[0029] Subsequently, based on the carbon footprint verification data obtained through the aforementioned connection method, comprehensive organizational greenhouse gas verification for each brand within the company and product carbon footprint information for each product life cycle are acquired. Furthermore, if there is a change in the carbon emission information of any one or more related operational boundaries, the company's said operational boundaries are updated with carbon emission information from one or more related external operational boundaries via the carbon emission allowance network update module, and version control of carbon emission factors and emissions is performed.

[0033] It should be understood that, although terms such as "first," "second," and "third" may be used in the text to describe various elements or signals, such elements or signals are not limited by these terms. These terms are primarily intended to distinguish one element from another, or one signal from another. Furthermore, the term "or" used in the text may include any one or more combinations from the relevant enumerated items, depending on the actual circumstances.

[0034] In the automated carbon emission allowance network system and carbon emission allowance management method provided in the specification, a single carbon emission allowance network is constructed using computer network technology by utilizing an association data structure formed by performing carbon footprint verification on an enterprise, and the automated carbon emission allowance network system can manage the entire range of organizational greenhouse gases in the enterprise's operational production and the carbon footprint of products throughout their entire life cycle. The service categories of the automated carbon emission allowance network system include parent companies, subsidiaries, companies with merged financial reports, investment firms, outsourced factories, and upstream and downstream supply chains within the enterprise. The carbon emission allowance management method includes automatically collecting, updating, version-controlling, and aggregating carbon emission information, such as carbon emission factors, emissions, or other related information, and recalculating and updating greenhouse gases and carbon footprints at the enterprise's operational boundaries to rapidly submit relevant carbon-related documents required by different stakeholders in real time according to the needs of different stakeholders (e.g., domestic policy regulations, international policy demands, and international brand factories).

[0035] According to an embodiment, an automated carbon emission rights network system realized by computer technology may be a single cloud system, which enables users of multiple terminals via a network to collect data, establish operational boundaries based on each company's carbon footprint, and construct interest network diagrams between different operational boundaries, and to output carbon footprint reports by selecting required interests according to demand, thereby realizing a cloud service for carbon footprint verification.

[0036] FIG. 3 is an example diagram of an embodiment showing a platform structure for executing carbon footprint verification through an automated carbon emission rights network system, and the structure of the automated carbon emission rights network system (30) shown in the drawing is for a digital platform (300) for carbon emission rights management within a company, where hardware and software cooperate to realize each functional module and mainly include a carbon emission rights network establishment module (301), a carbon emission rights network connection module (303), and a carbon emission rights network update module (305).

[0037] According to the embodiment, the automated carbon emission rights network system provided in the specification provides a service that enables multiple companies to execute carbon emission rights management and can build a carbon emission rights network for companies. In particular, it provides a carbon emission rights management digital platform (300) that realizes the execution of carbon footprint verification through a computer system for each company, and provides a carbon emission rights management digital platform to each brand of the company. By managing greenhouse gas verification of the entire organization and the carbon footprint of the entire product life cycle in a digitized manner, the automated carbon emission rights network system (30) executes a carbon emission rights management method through the carbon emission rights management digital platform (300), and the carbon emission rights management method can refer to the flow of the embodiment shown in FIG. 4.

[0038] As shown in the system structure diagram in FIG. 3, the automated carbon emission rights network system (30) realizes the carbon emission rights management digital platform (300) through a computer system, and for a specific company, the carbon emission rights management digital platform (300) receives carbon footprint verification data from different sources obtained through an application programming interface (API) (310) at least one stakeholder (311), one or more carbon emission rights management digital platforms (312 and 313) of an external company, one or more external carbon emission rights management report formats (314 and 315), and / or one or more carbon emission rights management digital platform automation customized questionnaires (316), all of which are data sources from which the company intends to build a carbon emission rights network, thereby managing organizational greenhouse gas verification across the entire range of each brand and product carbon footprint information for each product life cycle in a digitized manner for one or more brands among the company, and the carbon emission rights management digital platform (300) [according to] the report of the company's operational boundary through the carbon emission rights network establishment module (301). Establish a corporate carbon emission rights network.

[0039] The automated carbon emission rights network system (30) executes a carbon emission rights management method through a carbon emission rights management digital platform (300). In the method, according to Example 1, the carbon emission rights management digital platform (300) can build a carbon emission rights network of a company according to the category of corporate operational boundaries through a carbon emission rights network establishment module (301), and in addition to the operational boundaries of the company itself, it further includes one or more operational boundaries of one or more external companies related to the company, and the category of corporate operational boundaries may include disclosed subsidiaries, companies merged in financial reports, investment companies, outsourced factories, and upstream and downstream supply chains, etc., and the purpose is to obtain carbon emission information that should be disclosed, and the carbon emission information includes relevant information such as carbon emission coefficients and emissions (step S401).

[0040] Next, the corporate operational boundary and one or more related external operational boundaries are connected through the carbon emission rights network connection module (303). Here, the connection method is established by establishing a connection method for one or more carbon emission rights management digital platforms (312, 313), one or more carbon emission rights management report formats (314, 315), and / or one or more automated customized questionnaires (316) of each brand among one or more external companies through the application interface (310), or by setting the system so that it does not establish a connection method with a specific target through the application interface (310) (step S403). According to the embodiment, after the carbon emission rights management digital platform (300) establishes a connection method through the application interface (310), it establishes one blank network or one blank network list for each operational boundary, and each operational boundary creates its own carbon emission rights network map so that carbon footprint verification and product carbon footprint information can be shared with each other.

[0041] Thus, the carbon emission rights management digital platform (300) can request an operational boundary where a system or an external system exists accordingly, that is, by transmitting the request information to a company at the relevant operational boundary, it requests that the company at the relevant operational boundary backpass the carbon emission information it intends to receive and disclose, and the carbon emission information includes relevant information such as carbon emission coefficients and emission amounts. The requested operational boundary can switch to an external system directly through an internal system or via a software interface, and can perform data exchange by selecting whether to share some or all of the data. Finally, the connection between the company operational boundary and the relevant operational boundary is completed through an application program interface (310).

[0042] According to the above connection relationship, in addition to the internal carbon emission allowance management digital platform (300), the carbon emission allowance management digital platform (300) receives carbon footprint verification data obtained through at least one stakeholder (311), one or more external carbon emission allowance management digital platforms (312, 313), one or more external carbon emission allowance management report formats (314, 315), and / or one or more automated customized questionnaires (316) through an application interface (310), thereby obtaining organizational greenhouse gas verification and product carbon footprint information (step S405).

[0043] In the carbon emission allowance management digital platform (300), the organization greenhouse gas verification information and product carbon footprint information of upstream and downstream supply chains outside each operational boundary are automatically collected and version control is performed, thereby obtaining full-range organization greenhouse gas verification for each brand within the enterprise and product carbon footprint information for each product life cycle. Thus, when the system detects through software means that there is a change in carbon emission information (e.g., carbon emission coefficients and emissions) of any one or more related operational boundaries, it backpasses in real time to the carbon emission allowance network update module (305), where the carbon emission allowance network update module (305) updates the enterprise's operational boundary with carbon emission information of one or more related external operational boundaries, performs version control of carbon emission coefficients and emissions, and completes the update of carbon emission coefficients and emissions of the enterprise's operational boundary through the application program interface (610) (step S407).

[0044] According to an embodiment, in response to the demand to present information on organizational greenhouse gases and product carbon footprints throughout the entire life cycle of an enterprise's operational production to other operational boundaries related to the enterprise, the automated carbon emission rights network system realizes a carbon emission rights network progress table module (307) through the cooperation of software and hardware, submits carbon-related management documents in real time according to the demands of different stakeholders (311), and provides a carbon emission rights network reporting module (309).

[0045] Thus, in the carbon emission rights management digital platform (300), carbon emission information disclosed by one or more external companies, one or more subsidiaries of the company, companies merged in financial reports, or multiple investment companies, one or more outsourcing factories, and upstream and downstream supply chains is obtained through the carbon emission rights network progress table module (307) as organizational greenhouse gases and product carbon footprints throughout the entire life cycle of the company's operational production, and is displayed in an image and interaction distribution manner (step S409). Again, through the carbon emission rights network reporting module (309), carbon-related management documents required by different stakeholders (311) are rapidly submitted in real time according to the demands of different stakeholders (311) (e.g., domestic policy regulations, international policy demands, and international brand factories, etc.) using a screening mechanism provided by the automated carbon emission rights network system (30), regarding the organizational greenhouse gases and product carbon footprints throughout the entire life cycle of the company's operational production (step S411).

[0046] It should be noted here that the stakeholders (311) include one or any combination of government unit demand, environmental protection demand, international supply chain brand demand, international government demand, and regional coalition demand. Additionally, the one or more carbon emission allowance management report formats include self-report formats provided to the company by each stakeholder, and manage full-range organizational greenhouse gas verification and full-range product carbon footprint information in a report format (e.g., Microsoft Excel®). Here, the automated customized questionnaire formats include automated customized questionnaire formats provided to the company by each brand's carbon emission allowance management digital platform among the companies, and can manage full-range organizational greenhouse gas verification and full-range product carbon footprint information in a questionnaire format.

[0047] Furthermore, in an automated carbon emission rights network system, the entire range of organizational greenhouse gases includes at least direct greenhouse gas emissions, indirect greenhouse gas emissions from energy sources, and other indirect greenhouse gas emissions, whereby sources of direct greenhouse gas emissions include stationary fuel sources, mobile fuel sources, manufacturing process emissions, fugitive emissions, land use and alteration, and forestry; whereby sources of indirect greenhouse gas emissions from energy sources include externally purchased electricity and externally purchased energy sources; and whereby sources of other indirect greenhouse gas emissions include upstream transport and delivery, downstream transport and delivery, employee commuting, business travel, purchase of goods or services, fuel and energy source activities, waste from operational production, capital goods purchased upstream, upstream leased property, use of sold products, processing of sold products, disposal of sold products, downstream leased property, special businesses, and affiliation and investment.

[0048] FIGS. 5 to 8 below are exemplary diagrams illustrating an embodiment that provides a report based on the relationship between different operational boundaries, the relationship between operational boundaries of different digital platforms, and the association of operational boundaries.

[0049] FIG. 5 shows multiple operational boundaries established in the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51), exemplarily showing operational boundaries (a), (b) to (g), etc., and there is also a second carbon emission rights management digital platform (52) in which operational boundaries (h), (i), and (j), etc. are established, where each operational boundary displays organizational greenhouse gas and product carbon footprint information obtained after the digital platform to which each unit, company, or enterprise belongs has performed carbon footprint verification, and the carbon emission rights management report (53) has established operational boundaries (k), etc. In the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51), each operational boundary is an internal system of each enterprise, and if there is a second carbon emission rights management digital platform (52) and a carbon emission rights management report (53) capable of providing carbon footprint information, it belongs to an external system.

[0050] When a company intends to perform carbon footprint verification, it must establish operational boundaries formed from the company’s organizational greenhouse gas and product carbon footprint information from complex upstream and downstream supply chain relationships, and perform carbon footprint verification according to the carbon emission rights network established by the company. It must also perform material search, inspection, and material exchange between operational boundaries through a request mechanism and perform annual updates. In other words, regarding the operation related to the automated carbon emission rights network system described in the above example executing the carbon emission rights management method, one can refer to the example diagram of Example 1, which constructs an interest network diagram using software in the automated carbon emission rights network system shown in Fig. 6.

[0051] FIG. 6 illustrates a first carbon emission allowance management digital platform (51), a second carbon emission allowance management digital platform (52), and a carbon emission allowance management report (53) as shown in FIG. 5. When a company intends to establish its own operational boundaries, it first establishes a blank network or a list of blank networks in the corresponding carbon emission allowance management digital platform, and then requests one or more related operational boundaries according to the company's carbon emission allowance network to obtain carbon footprint verification data of the related operational boundaries, and the carbon footprint verification data includes organizational carbon footprint verification and product carbon footprint information.

[0052] As shown in FIG. 6, for example, a company that has established an operational boundary (a) in the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51) can perform carbon footprint verification. According to its first network diagram (61), carbon footprint verification data for operational boundary (e) and operational boundary (f) can be obtained simultaneously from the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51); according to the second network diagram (62), carbon footprint verification data for operational boundary (c), operational boundary (e), and operational boundary (g) can be obtained simultaneously from the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51); similarly, according to the third network diagram (63), carbon footprint verification data for operational boundary (g) can be obtained simultaneously from the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51).

[0053] In addition to obtaining carbon footprint verification data of the relevant operational boundary from the same carbon emission rights management digital platform shown in FIG. 6 (i.e., the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51)), further, the operation method shown in FIG. 7 when the relevant operational boundary belongs to a different carbon emission rights management digital platform can be referenced.

[0054] FIG. 7 illustrates an example of constructing an interest network diagram using software in an automated carbon emission rights network system, wherein the construction of an operational boundary (a) of a certain company is based on the fourth network diagram (64) shown, and the related operational boundaries of the operational boundary (a) include operational boundaries (b), operational boundaries (c), operational boundaries (d), operational boundaries (e), operational boundaries (h), operational boundaries (i), and operational boundaries (k), etc.

[0055] According to the fourth network diagram (64), carbon footprint verification data for operational boundaries (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e) can be obtained from the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51). Additionally, the digital format software (71) provided through the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51) must be connected to the second carbon emission rights management digital platform (52), carbon footprint verification data for operational boundaries (h) and (i) can be obtained from the second carbon emission rights management digital platform (52), the digital format software (72) provided by the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51) is connected to the carbon emission rights management report (53), and carbon footprint verification data for operational boundary (k) can be obtained from the carbon emission rights management report (53). Thus, in addition to the first carbon emission rights management digital platform (51) to which the operational boundary itself belongs, a request is executed through digital format software (71) and digital format software (72) to obtain carbon footprint verification data from an external system in a logical manner and to create one's own network diagram.

[0056] Thus, an embodiment according to the automated carbon emission rights network system connects different digital platforms using software means, and the requested operational boundary converts external system data directly through the internal system or via a software interface, and performs data exchange by selecting to share partial or all data, thereby enabling carbon footprint verification and product carbon footprint information to be shared with each other.

[0057] According to the above embodiments and related legends, through the automated carbon emission rights network system disclosed in the specification, even if the complexity of the enterprise's own operational boundaries and inter-enterprise relationships is high, the cumbersome carbon footprint verification process can still be resolved by executing a carbon emission rights management method through the system.

[0058] Furthermore, by connecting different platforms and establishing a carbon emission rights network for each company, if there is an information update in any part, the requested operational boundary data can be directly updated through the automated carbon emission rights network system, and subsequently, corresponding carbon information documents can be quickly generated for the needs of different stakeholders through filters, and the embodiment may refer to the example diagram of an embodiment in which a report is constructed by selecting the interests shown in FIG. 8.

[0059] According to the example diagram shown in Fig. 8, here, the user sets the demand of stakeholders through a screening mechanism provided by the automated carbon emission rights network system, and the automated carbon emission rights network system can submit carbon-related management documents in real time according to the demand.

[0060] For example, a first interest (11) is indicated by a dotted line in the diagram, including operational boundaries (a), (b), (c), and (d), and the system obtains carbon footprint verification data for each operational boundary from a carbon emission rights management digital platform corresponding to the operational boundary related to the first interest (11), that is, can submit carbon-related management documents of the first interest (11) in real time. A second interest (12) is established through a filter, including operational boundaries (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), and (h), and the system obtains carbon footprint verification data for each operational boundary from a carbon emission rights management digital platform belonging to the second interest (12), and submits carbon-related management documents of the second interest (12) in real time.

[0061] FIG. 8 further illustrates a third interest (13) set by a user using a filter, including operational boundary (a), operational boundary (b), operational boundary (c), operational boundary (d), operational boundary (i) and operational boundary (k); in addition, there is a fourth interest (14) in which only operational boundary (d) exists. The automated carbon emission rights network system can submit carbon-related management documents in real time according to the demands of different stakeholders and can perform version control of carbon emission factors and emissions according to the relevant carbon emission rights network.

[0062] Next, FIGS. 9 to 11 illustrate the operation of an automated carbon emission rights network system as an actual legend, wherein FIG. 9 is an example diagram of an embodiment showing the setting of a carbon emission rights network establishment module in an automated carbon emission rights network system.

[0063] The carbon emission rights management digital platform (90) indicated in the legend is a digital platform provided by an automated carbon emission rights network system for a laptop computer manufacturer to perform carbon footprint verification, and among them, a carbon emission rights network establishment module (301) is used to establish a corresponding carbon emission rights network according to the report of the operating boundary of the laptop computer manufacturer, and the type of organizational greenhouse gas verification of the laptop computer manufacturer initiated in the carbon emission rights network is indicated, and the example includes a stationary fuel source (901), a mobile fuel source (902), a manufacturing process emission source (903), and a fugitive emission source (904) belonging to the first type (direct greenhouse gas emission and removal); externally purchased power (905) and an externally purchased energy source (906) belonging to the second type (indirect greenhouse gas emission from input energy sources); upstream transport and delivery (907), downstream transport and delivery (908), and employee commuting (909) belonging to the third type (indirect greenhouse gas emission from transport); It represents the purchase of goods or services (910), fuel and energy source activities (911), and waste (912) of operational production belonging to Type 4 (indirect greenhouse gas emissions generated by products used by the organization); and the use (913) and disposal of sold products (914) belonging to Type 5 (indirect greenhouse gas emissions related to the use of products by the organization).

[0064] Next, depending on the type of organizational greenhouse gas verification of the notebook computer manufacturer built into the system, the relevant suppliers (e.g., Supplier A (921), Supplier B (922), Supplier C (923), Supplier D (924), Supplier E (925), Supplier F (926), Supplier G (927) and Supplier I (928)) can be obtained, and thus the notebook computer manufacturer can obtain the relevant carbon footprint verification data provided by each supplier, and in this example, the material number AAA (product carbon coefficient / unit) (931), material number BBB (932), and material number CCC (933) provided by Supplier E (925) are shown as examples.

[0065] As shown in FIG. 9, a carbon emission rights network of a notebook computer manufacturer is established through a carbon emission rights network establishment module (301) in an automated carbon emission rights network system, and furthermore, referring to FIG. 10, it indicates that a notebook computer manufacturer establishes a method of connecting an operational boundary in a carbon emission rights management digital platform (90) and one or more related external operational boundaries using a carbon emission rights network connection module (303) in an automated carbon emission rights network system.

[0066] According to the embodiment legend shown in FIG. 10, the carbon emission rights management digital platform (90) sets the method of connecting the operating boundary of the notebook computer manufacturer itself and other related operating boundaries through the carbon emission rights network connection module (303), and as shown in the figure, the carbon emission rights network connection module (303) automatically retrieves each parameter and setting to be entered among setting 1, setting 2 and setting 3, where setting 1 may include an application programming interface (API) for setting the construction of the carbon emission rights management digital platform (90) and the connection to an external system, setting 2 may indicate a supplier for which a specific product must be entered, and setting 3 provides a connection confirmation.

[0067] Figure 11 is an example diagram showing the relationship between the data of organizational greenhouse gas verification types and product carbon footprint stages.

[0068] In the example, the full range of tissue greenhouse gases included in the carbon emission survey information (110) includes direct greenhouse gas emissions of Category 1, indirect greenhouse gas emissions from energy sources of Category 2, and other indirect greenhouse gas emissions of Category 3. Again, corresponding tissue greenhouse gas verification and corresponding product carbon footprints are obtained according to the greenhouse gas emissions defined by each category.

[0069] In the process of executing carbon footprint verification, if operational boundaries are established for a specific product, the product carbon footprint can be established according to the automated carbon emission rights network system disclosed in the specification through the correlation of internal and external operational boundaries established in the system. According to the illustrated embodiment, the system distributes carbon emission investigation information (110), such as a full range of organizational greenhouse gases, according to the energy resource use distribution norm (111), to stages corresponding to the manufactured product, and thus the product carbon footprint stages include a raw material acquisition stage (113), a production manufacturing stage (114), a sales delivery stage (115), a product usage stage (116), and a product disposal stage (117), thereby realizing the purpose of carbon footprint verification.

[0070] In summary, according to the automated carbon emission allowance network system and carbon emission allowance management method described in the above embodiment, a single carbon emission allowance network is constructed using association data structures and computer network technologies formed primarily during the verification of a company's carbon footprint. This enables the direct automation of collection, updating, version control, and aggregation of carbon emission information for subsidiaries, companies merged with financial reports, investment firms, and upstream and downstream supply chains. Consequently, the automated carbon emission allowance network system manages organizational greenhouse gas emissions across the entire scope of a company's operational production and product carbon footprints throughout the entire life cycle. Furthermore, through this system, carbon-related management documents required by different stakeholders can be rapidly submitted in real time according to their needs.
