Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to foldable electronic devices. Background Technology
[0003] As the demand for mobile communication increases and the integration density of electronic devices rises, various technologies are being developed to improve the portability of electronic devices, such as mobile communication terminals, and to enhance user convenience in using multimedia functions.
[0004] As mobile communication services expand into the realm of multimedia services, users are now able to use multimedia services as well as voice calls and short messages through electronic devices. To ensure that users do not experience any inconvenience when using multimedia services, electronic devices are increasingly being equipped with larger display panels. Furthermore, recently, foldable electronic devices equipped with flexible display panels have been introduced. The problem to be solved
[0006] A foldable electronic device may include a first housing structure, a second housing structure that can be folded with respect to the first housing structure, a hinge structure connecting the first housing structure and the second housing structure, and a flexible display disposed across the first housing structure and the second housing structure.
[0007] In a folded state, a portion of a flexible display placed on a first housing structure and a portion of a flexible display placed on a second housing structure may come into contact with each other. By further including a magnetic material in each of the portions where the first housing structure and the second housing structure come into contact with each other in this manner, the folded state of the folded electronic device can be fixed.
[0008] However, when a magnetic material is placed, when the first housing structure and the second housing structure come into contact with each other, the magnetic material may partially protrude due to the attractive force between the magnetic materials, which may impact the flexible display placed between the magnetic materials, and this may cause damage to the electronic device.
[0009] In order to prevent impact to the display caused by the magnetic material, according to some embodiments, a structure may be adopted in which the magnetic material is secured through a cap formed by a separate injection molding after being seated and bonded to the rear of the electronic device. However, in such a structure where the magnetic material is seated and bonded to the rear of the electronic device, the distance between the magnetic materials becomes large, making it difficult to provide sufficient magnetic force to secure the folded state of the electronic device. If a large-sized magnetic material is placed to secure magnetic force in a structure where the magnetic material is seated and bonded to the rear of the electronic device, it may cause a shortage of mounting space for other electronic components included in the electronic device.
[0010] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a structure for mounting and bonding a magnetic material to the front surface of an electronic device is employed, and a magnetic material and a magnetic material fixing structure are provided that do not apply impact to a flexible display. means of solving the problem
[0011] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a foldable electronic device comprises: a hinge structure; a first housing structure connected to the hinge structure; a second housing structure connected to the hinge structure and foldable with respect to the first housing structure with respect to the hinge structure; a flexible display disposed on one surface of the first housing structure and one surface of the second housing structure; a first plate disposed inside the first housing structure and including a first surface facing a first direction; a second plate disposed inside the second housing structure and including a second surface facing a second direction parallel to the first direction in an unfolded state; a first magnetic body portion comprising a magnetic body arranged along the longitudinal direction of the first housing structure and disposed at a position adjacent to one edge of the first housing structure on the first surface of the first plate; and a position adjacent to one edge of the second housing structure on the second surface of the second plate and the first A foldable electronic device may be provided that includes a second magnetic body portion comprising a magnetic body disposed at a position corresponding to the magnetic body portion and arranged along the longitudinal direction of the second housing structure. Effects of the invention
[0012] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a magnetic fixing structure capable of stably maintaining the folded state of a foldable electronic device can be provided.
[0013] According to the present disclosure, various embodiments can be provided to prevent impact applied to a flexible display when a magnetic fixing structure is placed in a foldable electronic device. Brief explanation of the drawing

According to one embodiment, the hinge structure (230) may be covered by a part of the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220) or exposed to the outside, depending on the state of the electronic device (200) (unfolded status, intermediate status, or folded status).
[0052] According to one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, when the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state (e.g., fully unfolded state), the hinge structure (230) may be covered by the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220) and not exposed. As another example, as shown in FIG. 3, when the electronic device (200) is in a folded state (e.g., fully folded state), the hinge structure (230) may be exposed to the outside between the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220). As another example, when the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220) are in an intermediate state where they are folded with a certain angle, the hinge structure (230) may be partially exposed to the outside between the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220). However, in this case, the exposed area may be smaller than in a completely folded state. In one embodiment, the hinge structure (230) may include a curved surface.
[0053] According to various embodiments, the display (250) may be placed in a space formed by the foldable housing (201). For example, the display (250) may be seated on a recess formed by the foldable housing (201) and may be visible from the outside through the front of the electronic device (200) (e.g., a first front and / or a second front). For example, the display (250) may constitute most of the front of the electronic device (200) (e.g., a first front and / or a second front). Thus, the front of the electronic device (200) (e.g., a first front and / or a second front) may include the display (250) and a portion of the first housing structure (210) and a portion of the second housing structure (220) adjacent to the display (250). And, the rear of the electronic device (200) (e.g., a first rear and / or a second rear) may include a first rear cover (215), a portion of a first housing structure (210) adjacent to the first rear cover (215), a second rear cover (225), and a portion of a second housing structure (220) adjacent to the second rear cover (225).
[0054] According to various embodiments, the display (250) may mean a display in which at least some area can be deformed into a flat or curved surface. According to one embodiment, the display (250) may include a folding area (253), a first area (251) disposed on one side (e.g., the left side of the folding area (253) shown in FIG. 2) with respect to the folding area (253), and a second area (252) disposed on the other side (e.g., the right side of the folding area (253) shown in FIG. 2).
[0055] However, the division of the display (250) shown in FIG. 2 is exemplary, and the display (250) may be divided into multiple areas (e.g., four or more or two) depending on the structure or function. For example, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the area of the display (200) may be divided by a folding area (253) that extends parallel to the folding axis (A), but in other embodiments, the area of the display (200) may be divided based on a different folding axis (e.g., a folding axis parallel to the width direction of the electronic device).
[0056] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, the display (250) may be coupled to or placed adjacent to a touch panel equipped with a touch sensing circuit and a pressure sensor capable of measuring the intensity (pressure) of a touch. For example, the display (250) may be coupled to or placed adjacent to a touch panel that detects an electromagnetic resonance (EMR) type stylus pen, as an example of a touch panel.
[0057] According to various embodiments, the first region (251) and the second region (252) may have a shape that is symmetrical overall with respect to the folding region (253).
[0058] Hereinafter, the operation of the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220) and each area of the display (250) according to the state of the electronic device (200) (e.g., folded status, unfolded status, or intermediate status) will be described.
[0059] According to various embodiments, when the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state (e.g., FIG. 2), the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220) may be arranged to face in the same direction at an angle of 180 degrees. The surface of the first region (251) and the surface of the second region (252) of the display (250) may form an angle of 180 degrees with each other and may face in the same direction (e.g., the front direction of the electronic device). At this time, the folding region (253) may form a plane with the first region (251) and the second region (252).
[0060] According to various embodiments, when the electronic device (200) is in a folded state (e.g., FIG. 3), the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220) may be arranged to face each other. The surface of the first region (251) and the surface of the second region (252) of the display (250) may face each other, forming a narrow angle (e.g., between 0 and 10 degrees). The folding region (253) may be formed of a curved surface having at least a portion having a predetermined curvature.
[0061] According to various embodiments, when the electronic device (200) is in an intermediate state, the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220) may be arranged at a certain angle to each other. The surface of the first region (251) and the surface of the second region (252) of the display (250) may form an angle that is larger than the folded state and smaller than the unfolded state. The folding region (253) may be formed of a curved surface having at least a portion of a certain curvature, wherein the curvature may be smaller than in the folded state.
[0062] FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view of an electronic device (200) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0063] In the drawings from FIG. 4 onwards, a spatial coordinate system defined by an X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis that are orthogonal to each other is illustrated. Here, the X-axis may represent the width direction of the electronic device, the Y-axis may represent the length direction of the electronic device, and the Z-axis may represent the height (or thickness) direction of the electronic device. In describing various embodiments of the present disclosure, 'first direction and second direction' may mean a direction parallel to the Z-axis.
[0064] In describing the components of the electronic device (200) illustrated in FIG. 4, the description of the components described in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 is omitted to the extent of overlap.
[0065] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, the electronic device (200) may include various electronic components disposed in the internal or external space of the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220). Various electronic components include, for example, a processor (e.g., processor (120) of FIG. 1), memory (e.g., memory (130) of FIG. 1), input module (e.g., input module (150) of FIG. 1), sound output module (e.g., sound output module (155) of FIG. 1), display (250) (e.g., display module (160) of FIG. 1), audio module (e.g., audio module (170) of FIG. 1), sensor (e.g., sensor module (176) of FIG. 1), interface (e.g., interface (177) of FIG. 1), connection terminal (e.g., connection terminal (178) of FIG. 1), haptic module (e.g., haptic module (179) of FIG. 1), camera module (e.g., camera module (180) of FIG. 1), power management module (188)), battery (261, 262) (e.g., battery (189) of FIG. 1), communication module (e.g., communication of FIG. 1 It may include a module (190)), a subscriber identification module (e.g., the subscriber identification module (196) of FIG. 1), or an antenna module (e.g., the antenna module (197) of FIG. 1), and the electronic components may be appropriately separated and arranged in the internal or external space of the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220). In the electronic device (200), at least one of these components (e.g., a connection terminal (178)) may be omitted, or one or more other components may be added. Additionally, some of these components may be integrated into a single component.
[0066] According to various embodiments, the electronic device (200) is a foldable electronic device and may include a plurality of batteries to supply and store power required for operation to electronic components. For example, it may include a first battery (261) and a second battery (262) disposed in each of a first housing structure (210) and a second housing structure (220).
[0067] According to various embodiments, the electronic device (200) is a foldable electronic device and may have a plate (240) for placing components in each of the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220). Various electronic components and / or printed circuit boards (271, 272) may be placed on the plate (240). According to one embodiment, the plate (240) may include a plurality of plates (241, 242). For example, a first plate (241) and a first printed circuit board (271) may be placed in the first housing structure (210), and a second plate (242) and a second printed circuit board (272) may be placed in the second housing structure (220). The first plate (241) may include a first surface (241a) facing a first direction, and the second plate (242) may include a second surface (242a) facing a second direction. The first plate (241) and the second plate (242) may be folded or unfolded toward each other by a hinge structure (230) formed corresponding to a folding area (253) of the flexible display (250), and may be formed to face each other in the folded state, and in the unfolded state, the directions in which the first surface (241a) and the second surface (242a) face each other may be formed to be the same. The hinge structure (230) may include a hinge plate (231) and / or a hinge cover (232), and a first plate (241) and a second plate (242) may be arranged on one side and the other side centered on the hinge plate (231) of the hinge structure (230).
[0068] Signals of a processor for implementing various functions and operations of an electronic device (200) can be transmitted to electronic components through various conductive lines formed on printed circuit boards (271, 272) and / or connectors (273).
[0069] FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view of an electronic device comprising a first magnetic body and a second magnetic body according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 6 is a drawing showing a first magnetic body according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 7 is a drawing showing a second magnetic body according to various embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0070] Referring to FIG. 5, in a foldable electronic device (200), a fixed structure using a magnetic material is provided so that the folded state can be stably maintained.
[0071] A foldable electronic device (200) including a fixed structure using a magnetic material according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may include a first magnetic material part (310) comprising a magnetic material arranged along the longitudinal direction (e.g., the Y-axis direction of FIG. 4) of the first housing structure (210) and positioned adjacent to one edge of the first housing structure (210), and a second magnetic material part (320) comprising a magnetic material arranged along the longitudinal direction (e.g., the Y-axis direction of FIG. 4) of the second housing structure (220) and positioned adjacent to one edge of the second housing structure (220) and corresponding to the first magnetic material part (310).
[0072] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320) may be disposed on the front surface of the plate (240). For example, the first magnetic body (310) may be disposed on the first surface (241a) of the first plate (241) and the second magnetic body (320) may be disposed on the second surface (242a) of the second plate (242). According to another embodiment, the first magnetic body (310) may be positioned in the first housing structure (210) at a location adjacent to a first side (e.g., the first side (211a) of FIG. 2) that is spaced apart in parallel with a hinge structure (e.g., the hinge structure (230) of FIG. 3), for example, in the space between the first battery (e.g., the first battery (261) of FIG. 4) and the first housing structure (210). Additionally, the second magnetic body (320) may be positioned in the second housing structure (220) in a spaced-apart location adjacent to the second side (e.g., the second side (221a) of FIG. 2) which is parallel to the hinge structure (e.g., the hinge structure (230) of FIG. 3), for example, in the space between the second battery (e.g., the second battery (262) of FIG. 4) and the second housing structure (220).
[0073] The first magnetic body part (310) and the second magnetic body part (320) may be arranged in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the first housing structure (210) and the second housing structure (220). According to one embodiment, the first magnetic body part (310) and the second magnetic body part (320) may each be provided in multiple numbers. For example, the first magnetic body part (310) may include a first-1 magnetic body part (310a) and a first-2 magnetic body part (310b), and the second magnetic body part (320) may include a second-1 magnetic body part (320a) and a second-2 magnetic body part (320b). The first-1 magnetic body part (310a) and the first-2 magnetic body part (310b), and the second-1 magnetic body part (320a) and the second-2 magnetic body part (320b) each have substantially the same shape and can be arranged side by side along the longitudinal direction of the electronic device (200) (e.g., the Y-axis direction in FIG. 4). According to various embodiments, the first magnetic body part (310) and the second magnetic body part (320) may each consist of three or more magnetic body parts, for example, as shown in the drawings. When the first magnetic body part (310) and the second magnetic body part (320) each include a plurality of magnetic body parts, the plurality of magnetic body parts may be arranged along an imaginary straight line parallel to the longitudinal direction of the electronic device (200) (e.g., the Y-axis direction in FIG. 4).
[0074] Referring to FIG. 6, the first magnetic body part (310) can be accommodated in a first recess (241b) formed in the first plate (241). Accordingly, the first plate (241) may have a first recess (241b) having a size and shape corresponding to the first magnetic body part (310) so that the first magnetic body part (310) can be accommodated. According to one embodiment, a groove (241c) for assembling the first magnetic body part (310) may be additionally formed inside the first recess (241b).
[0075] The first magnetic body part (310) may include a magnetic body array (311), a magnetic body housing (312) that surrounds at least one surface of the magnetic body array (311), and a first protrusion (313) that protrudes from one side of the magnetic body housing (312) and has a fastening hole formed therein.
[0076] The magnetic array (311) is formed by joining a plurality of permanent magnetic bodies in one direction (e.g., the longitudinal direction of the electronic device (200) (e.g., the Y-axis direction in FIG. 4)), and the plurality of permanent magnetic bodies may be arranged to form a magnetic field in a direction different from that of adjacent magnetic bodies. The number of arranged magnetic bodies may not be limited.
[0077] The magnetic housing (312) can be molded integrally with the magnetic array (311). According to another embodiment, the magnetic housing (312) may be made of a non-metallic material, for example, a synthetic resin with high rigidity. For example, the magnetic housing (312) may be formed from fiber reinforced plastics (FRP). For another example, the magnetic housing (312) may be formed by curing the resin injected around the magnetic array (311) while the magnetic array (311) is placed in a mold.
[0078] For example, at least a portion of the housing of the electronic device (first housing structure (210) and / or second housing structure (220)) may be formed of a metal material and utilized as a radiator for the antenna. In this embodiment, if the first magnetic body (310) is placed adjacent to the side portion of the electronic device housing, the magnetic force of the first magnetic body (310) may affect the housing of the electronic device as an antenna radiator, thereby degrading the antenna performance. As a measure to prevent such degradation of antenna performance, the magnetic body housing (312) may be made to include a synthetic resin rather than metal.
[0079] The first protrusion (313) is configured to protrude in one direction from the magnetic housing (312) and may have a hole into which a fastening member (314) (e.g., a screw) can be fastened. By fastening the fastening member (314) into the hole provided in the first protrusion (313), the first magnetic part (310) can be fixed to the first plate (241), thereby preventing the first magnetic part (310) from being lifted off the first plate (241) by the attractive force acting when it is placed adjacent to the second magnetic body (320).
[0080] Referring to FIG. 7, the second magnetic body (320) can be accommodated in a second recess (242b) formed in the second plate (242). Accordingly, a second recess (242b) having a size and shape corresponding to the second magnetic body (320) can be formed in the second plate (242) so that the second magnetic body (320) can be accommodated. According to one embodiment, a groove (242c) for assembling the second magnetic body (320) can be additionally formed inside the second recess (242b).
[0081] The second magnetic body part (320) may include a magnetic body array (321), a magnetic body housing (322) that surrounds at least one surface of the magnetic body array (321), and a first protrusion (323) that protrudes from one side of the magnetic body housing (322) and has a fastening hole formed therein.
[0082] The magnetic array (321), magnetic housing (322), and first protrusion (323) included in the second magnetic body part (320) are substantially identical to the magnetic array (311), magnetic housing (312), and first protrusion (313) included in the first magnetic body part, so a description thereof will be omitted.
[0083] The magnetic array (321) included in the second magnetic body part (320) may correspond to the magnetic array (311) included in the first magnetic body part (310). Here, the fact that the magnetic array (321) corresponds to another magnetic array (311) may mean that the number of connected permanent magnetic bodies is the same and the total length of the magnetic array is formed to be the same.
[0084] FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing a magnetic body according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 9 is a drawing showing a cross-section (BB' direction cross-section) of the magnetic body shown in FIG. 8. FIG. 10 is a drawing showing a magnetic array having a Halbach arrangement according to various embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0085] With reference to FIGS. 8 to 10 in conjunction with the aforementioned drawings, a fixed structure including a magnetic body included in an electronic device according to one embodiment will be described in more detail. As a magnetic body part shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, a first magnetic body part (310) will be described as an example. This description may be applied mutatis mutandis to a second magnetic body part (320). FIG. 8 may show the first magnetic body part (310) shown in FIG. 6 viewed from the opposite side.
[0086] Referring to FIGS. 8 and 9, the first magnetic body part (310) may include a magnetic body array (311), a magnetic body housing (312) that surrounds at least one surface of the magnetic body array (311), and a first protrusion (313) that protrudes from the magnetic body housing (312) in one direction (e.g., the longitudinal direction of the electronic device (the Y-axis direction in FIG. 4)).
[0087] The magnetic array (311) may include an upper surface (311-1) facing a first direction, a lower surface (311-2) facing the opposite direction of the first direction, and a side surface (311-3) between the upper surface (311-1) and the lower surface (311-2). Additionally, the magnetic housing (312) may be formed to surround at least one surface of the magnetic array (311), for example, the upper surface (311-1), the lower surface (311-2), and the side surface (311-3). According to one embodiment, the magnetic housing (312) is formed such that the thickness (d1) of the portion covering the upper surface (311-1) is thinner than the thickness (d2) of the portion covering the lower surface (311-2) of the magnetic array (311), thereby forming a stable fixed structure that encloses at least one surface of the magnetic array (311), while reducing the effect of magnetic force directed in the first direction being reduced by the magnetic housing (312).
[0088] According to various embodiments, the first magnetic body part (310) may further include a second protrusion (315) formed to protrude in the opposite direction from the direction in which the first protrusion (313) protrudes from the magnetic body housing (312), in addition to the first protrusion (313). The second protrusion (315) may have a shape corresponding to a groove (241c) formed in a first recess (e.g., the first recess (241b) of FIG. 6) of the first plate (e.g., the first plate (241) of FIG. 6). According to one embodiment, the first magnetic body (310) can be fastened to the first plate (241) in a tightening manner using the first protrusion (313) and the fastening member (314) (e.g., screw) on one side, and fastened to the first plate (241) in a hook (and / or fitting) manner using the second protrusion (315) on the other side, thereby enabling a stable fixed structure. Accordingly, even if the first magnetic body (310) is placed on the first surface of the first plate (241) (e.g., the first surface (241a) of FIG. 6), the phenomenon of the first magnetic body (310) lifting up can be prevented due to the attractive force between the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320).
[0089] Referring to FIG. 10, the magnetic array (311) may be formed such that a series of permanent magnetic materials form a Halbach array, which generates a weak magnetic field in one direction and a strong magnetic field in the other direction. According to one embodiment, when the magnetic array (311) of the first magnetic part (310) (hereinafter referred to as the 'first magnetic array (311)') forms a Halbach array, the magnetic array (321) of the second magnetic part (320) (hereinafter referred to as the 'second magnetic array (321)') may also form a Halbach array. For example, referring to FIG. 10, the first magnetic array (311) includes a plurality of first poles (311a) that form a magnetic field in a direction perpendicular to the length direction of the first magnetic array (311) and a plurality of second poles (311b) that form a magnetic field in a direction parallel to the length direction, wherein the plurality of first poles (311a) and the plurality of second poles (311b) may be arranged alternately to generate a strong magnetic field toward the upper surface of the first magnetic array (311) (e.g., 311-1 in FIG. 9). The second magnetic array (321) includes a plurality of third poles (321a) that form a magnetic field in a direction perpendicular to the length direction of the second magnetic array (321) and a plurality of fourth poles (321b) that form a magnetic field in a direction parallel to the length direction, wherein the plurality of third poles (321a) and the plurality of fourth poles (321b) may be arranged alternately to generate a strong magnetic field toward the upper surface of the second magnetic array (321).As illustrated in FIG. 10, when the first and second ends of the first magnetic array (311) and the second magnetic array (321) are aligned with each other so that each magnetic element faces the other in a 1:1 ratio, and the first pole (311a) of the first magnetic array (311) and the third pole (321a) of the second magnetic array (321) face in the same direction, and the second pole (311b) of the first magnetic array (311) and the fourth pole (321b) of the second magnetic array (321) face in different directions, an attractive force can be exerted between the magnetic arrays (311, 321). In this way, as the magnetic arrays (311, 321) are formed as a Halbach array, the maximum magnetic force can be achieved while minimizing the space (or area) occupied by the magnetic arrays (311, 321) within the internal space of the electronic device (200).
[0090] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, by configuring the magnetic arrays (311, 321) included in the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320) as a Halbach array, the strength of the magnetic force in one direction (first direction and second direction) can be increased compared to a general magnetic array, while the strength of the magnetic force in the opposite direction can be reduced. The effect of the magnetic force acting on various electronic components placed on the back surface of the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320), in other words, on the back surface of a plate (e.g., the plate (240) of FIG. 5), can be significantly reduced. Therefore, there is an advantage in that a separate shielding sheet does not need to be attached to the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320) to protect electronic components placed on the back surfaces of the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320). For example, if a separate shielding sheet is attached to the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320) to protect other electronic components, the magnetic force of the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320) may be reduced, but in the present disclosure, since a separate shielding sheet does not need to be attached adjacent to the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320), the reduction in magnetic force caused by the separate shielding sheet can be prevented.
[0091] Referring again to FIG. 8, the first magnetic body (310) is formed in a shape that is elongated in one direction (e.g., the Y-axis direction of FIG. 4), and a shock absorbing member (316) in a shape that is elongated similar to the first magnetic body (310) may be provided on top of the first magnetic body (310).
[0092] Hereinafter, the shock-absorbing member (316) will be described in detail with reference to the embodiments of FIGS. 11 to 13.
[0093] FIG. 11 is a drawing showing plates according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 12 is a drawing showing a cross-section of an electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 13 is a drawing showing a cross-section of an electronic device in a folded state according to various embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0094] Referring to FIG. 11, a first plate (241) and a second plate (242) on which a shielding sheet (256) is placed are shown. An embodiment of FIG. 12 may show a cross-section cut in the CC' direction of FIG. 11 in an unfolded state of the electronic device, in which the arrangement relationship between the display (250) and the housing (e.g., the second housing structure (220)) is shown with respect to the second magnetic body part (320) accommodated in the second recess (242b).
[0095] Referring to FIG. 12, a second magnetic body (320) may be accommodated in a second recess (242b) formed on the back side of the display (250) and on the second surface of the second plate (242) (e.g., the second surface (242a) of FIG. 7). As shown in the drawings, the second magnetic body (320) may be positioned adjacent to the side of the electronic device housing (e.g., the second housing structure (220)). As described above, the electronic device (200) of the present disclosure may have a structure in which the magnetic housing of the second magnetic body (320) (e.g., the magnetic housing (322) of FIG. 7) is formed from a synthetic resin material rather than a metal, so that even if, for example, at least a part of the second housing structure (220) is formed from a metallic material and acts as an antenna radiator, the antenna performance is prevented from degrading. According to one embodiment, when at least one part of the second housing structure (220) is used as an antenna radiator, the second magnetic part (320) and the second housing structure (220) may be formed to be spaced apart by a predetermined distance to ensure antenna performance. For example, the second magnetic part (320) used as an antenna radiator and the second housing structure (220) may be formed to have a spacing of 1.5 mm or more.
[0096] According to various embodiments, a plurality of panels including a digitizer panel may be stacked in multiple layers in the display (250), and some panels may be formed in the form of a COG (chip on glass), a COP (chip on panel), and / or a COF (chip on film) depending on the arrangement of the display drive IC.
[0097] For example, FIG. 12 illustrates a display (250) including a digitizer panel arranged in a COP shape. Additionally, FIG. 12 illustrates a COP bending part (255) and a shielding sheet (256) arranged on a plurality of layers above the COP bending part (255), wherein the shielding sheet (256) can serve to protect the digitizer panel from noise caused by external magnetic force.
[0098] According to various embodiments, a certain gap may be formed between the second magnetic body (320) and the display (250). When the second magnetic body (320) is placed on the back surface of the display (250), an attractive force is exerted on the shielding sheet (256) by the second magnetic body (320), and the COP bending part (255) may be pulled toward the gap. When the COP bending part (255) is pulled toward the gap, the COP bending part (255) and / or the BPL (bending protect layer) of the COP bending part (255) may be damaged. To prevent such damage, the electronic device may further include a shock-absorbing member (326).
[0099] According to one embodiment, a shock-absorbing member (326) (e.g., sponge, poron, and / or other elastic member) is attached to the upper surface of the second magnetic body (320) to fill the gap between the second magnetic body (320) and the display (250). According to one embodiment, the shock-absorbing member (326) may be formed to have a thickness equal to the distance of the gap. For example, when the gap between the second magnetic body (320) and the display (250) is 0.35 mm, the thickness of the shock-absorbing member (326) may also be formed to have a thickness of 0.35 mm. Therefore, even if an attractive force occurs between the second magnetic body (320) and the shielding sheet (256), the COP bending part (255) is not pulled toward the gap, so it is possible to prevent damage to the COP bending part (255) and / or the BPL of the COP bending part (255).
[0100] In the embodiment of FIG. 12 above, only the second magnetic body part (320) was described, but the same description can be applied to the first magnetic body part (310).
[0101] Referring to FIG. 13, the electronic device (200) may further include a shock-absorbing member (326) for filling the gap between the second magnetic body (320) and the display (250), as well as a shock-absorbing member (316) for filling the gap between the first magnetic body (310) and the display (250).
[0102] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, the electronic device (200) can secure a greater magnetic force compared to an embodiment in which the first magnetic body (310) and the second magnetic body (320) are each placed on the front surface (e.g., the first surface (241a), the second surface (242a) of FIG. 4) of the second plate (241), while also preventing the risk of damage caused by the distance between the magnetic bodies by providing shock-absorbing members (316, 326) between the first magnetic body (310) and the display (250) and between the second magnetic body (320) and the display (250). The shock-absorbing member (316, 326) and its arrangement can function more effectively in an electronic device including a magnetic material with a Halbach arrangement applied, particularly according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
