Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a convertible bench for displaying and storing goods, and more specifically, to a convertible bench for displaying and storing goods that can be transformed into a two-tiered stall by rotating the backrest portion parallel to the upper part of the seat plate and used as a bench by rotating the backrest portion back to its original direction. Background Technology

[0002] Benches are facilities installed outdoors to allow people walking or enjoying a walk to sit and rest. As residential and urban living environments become more important, many are installed in large and small parks and recreational areas created in residential areas or along roads.

[0003] While these benches come in various designs, structurally, most consist of a frame that includes the legs, a seat plate installed on the frame to support the user's buttocks, and a backrest plate installed on the frame to support the user's back.

[0004] As such, since the structure of benches is almost identical, they do not provide any functions other than simply sitting and resting; consequently, they have limitations in that they cannot be used for various purposes by actively changing their structure according to the surrounding environment.

[0005] In addition, most conventional bench and table conversion structures consist of a configuration that simply rotates the backrest or tabletop, which causes the display load acting in the converted state to be concentrated on the locking pin or link connection. Consequently, there is a risk that play may occur or deformation stability may be reduced upon repeated use.

[0006] Furthermore, while technologies adding awning, lighting, or storage functions to conventional public benches have been proposed individually, technology that organically combines load distribution structures, locking stability, and business convenience suitable for the conversion structure between benches and stalls is still lacking. Prior art literature

[0007] Republic of Korea Registered Patent No. 10-2868192 (Registered Sep. 30, 2025) US Registered Patent No. US 05,292,172 (Registered Mar. 8, 1994) US Registered Patent No. US 09,247,813 (Registered Feb. 2, 2016) The problem to be solved

[0008] The present invention aims to provide a convertible bench equipped with a display and storage space for goods, which can be used as a bench outdoors or transformed into a two-tiered display by rotating the backrest parallel to the upper part of the seat plate, in order to solve the problems of the prior art as described above.

[0009] In addition, the purpose is to provide a mechanism that allows the backrest to be rotated parallel to the pivot axis by releasing the locking pin inserted into the first fastening hole, and to firmly position the rotated backrest by inserting the locking pin into the second fastening hole formed in the front frame.

[0010] In addition, there is an objective to provide a deformation stabilization structure that can maintain structural stability even during repeated mode switching by distributing the load of the backrest portion to the locking pin, the first link, and the second link in the stand mode.

[0011] In addition, there is a purpose to provide a bending part that can reduce rapid rotation of the backrest by causing the first link and the second link to frictionally resist each other when the backrest is rotated backward after being unfolded.

[0012] In addition, the purpose is to provide a multi-purpose bench structure that stores inventory by integrally forming a storage section with a door at the bottom of the bench and provides a pleasant sales environment regardless of weather or time by providing a roof section combined with lighting at the top.

[0013] In addition, it aims to reduce power input constraints at the installation site by supplying independent power to the roof lighting, and to provide operational convenience by partitioning the interior of the storage unit to store goods and personal items separately. means of solving the problem

[0014] The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems.

[0015] A seating portion comprising a side support member arranged longitudinally spaced apart from the front frame, the side support member comprising a front frame inclined from top to bottom and a vertical rear frame spaced apart from the front frame, and a seating portion having a seating plate coupled to the side support member;

[0016] A backrest portion rotatably coupled to the side support portion at the rear of the seat portion to support the back portion of the body;

[0017] A transformation part that rotates the backrest part horizontally toward the front of the seating part to transform into a table, and is positioned on the upper part of the seating plate to transform into a two-tier display stand; and

[0018] A roof portion comprising a roof attached to the upper part of the above-mentioned side support and a roof portion having lighting on one side of the roof

[0019] We provide a convertible bench for displaying goods and storage space.

[0020] In an embodiment of the present invention, the deformation part may further include: a pivot shaft that pivotally connects the backrest part to the rear frame; a first fastening hole that allows a locking pin provided in the backrest part to be fastened to a connecting frame connecting the front frame and the rear frame; and a second fastening hole that allows the locking pin to be fastened to the front frame after releasing the locking pin from the connecting frame and rotating the backrest part adjacent to the horizontal.

[0021] In an embodiment of the present invention, the deformation portion may further include a first link having one side pivotally coupled to the backrest portion; and a second link having one side pivotally coupled to the other side of the first link and the other side pivotally coupled to the rear frame, and formed with a shorter length than the first link, wherein the second link folds or unfolds the first link by the rotation of the backrest portion.

[0022] In an embodiment of the present invention, the first link further includes a bent portion having its other side bent at a predetermined angle, and the bent portion may be characterized in that, when extended adjacent to the length of the second link, it induces the distribution of a portion of the load of the backrest portion.

[0023] In an embodiment of the present invention, the bending portion may be characterized in that, when the backrest portion is unfolded and rotated toward the rear of the seating portion, the other side of the first link and one side of the second link are subjected to frictional resistance against each other, thereby inducing a reduction in the rapid rotation of the backrest portion.

[0024] In an embodiment of the present invention, the roof portion may further include a battery module or a solar charging module that supplies power to the lighting.

[0025] An embodiment of the present invention is,

[0035] Hereinafter, a kiosk-convertible bench equipped with a display and storage space for goods according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0036] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a kiosk-convertible bench equipped with a display and storage space for goods according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an example illustration illustrating a state in which the kiosk-convertible bench equipped with a display and storage space for goods according to an embodiment of the present invention is transformed into a two-tier kiosk, FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 are enlarged partial views illustrating the transformed part of the kiosk-convertible bench equipped with a display and storage space for goods according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 5 is a side view illustrating the kiosk-convertible bench equipped with a display and storage space for goods according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0038] As illustrated in FIG. 1, a kiosk-type bench (10) having a display and storage space for goods according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a seating portion (100), a backrest portion (200), a deformation portion (300), and a roof portion (400).

[0039] More specifically, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, a convertible bench (10) having a display and storage space for goods according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a side support member (110) arranged in a longitudinally spaced manner, the side support member (110) consisting of a front frame (111) that slopes from top to bottom and a vertical rear frame (112) spaced apart from the front frame, a seating member (100) having a seating plate (120) coupled to the side support member, a backrest member (200) rotatably coupled to the side support member at the rear of the seating member to support the back of the body, a transformation member (300) that rotates the backrest member horizontally adjacent to the front of the seating member to transform into a table and is positioned above the seating plate to transform into a two-tiered stand, and a roof member having a roof coupled to the upper part of the side support member and a light on one side of the roof.

[0040] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the seating portion (100) is connected to both sides of the seating plate (120) by the side support portion (110) so that people can sit on it in the street and park, or small business owners can display and sell goods on a flat surface.

[0041] The side support member (110) is composed of a front frame (111) that slopes from top to bottom and a vertical rear frame (112) spaced apart from the front frame, and further includes a connecting frame (113) that connects the front frame (111) and the rear frame (112) to firmly support the load applied to the seating plate (120).

[0042] The seating plate (120) may be made of a single plate-shaped member or a plurality of length members arranged side by side. Additionally, a lower frame capable of supporting the plate-shaped member and the length members on the other side may be further provided to prevent bending or deformation of the shape due to the weight of a person and the weight of the exhibit.

[0043] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the backrest (200) is rotatably connected to the side support (110) at the rear of the seating portion (100) to support the back of the body, and can be made of a single plate-shaped member or a plurality of length members, such as the seating plate (120). In addition, to support the back of the body, the locking pin (301) of the deformation portion (300) described later is fastened to the connecting frame (113) so that it can be used as a general bench.

[0044] Additionally, the backrest (200) can be rotated around the side support (110) by releasing the locking pin from the connecting frame (113), so that the lower part is lifted and the upper part is rotated toward the rear of the vertical frame (111) to be transformed into a table top.

[0045] As illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, the transformation part (300) rotates the backrest part (200) horizontally toward the front of the seating part (100) to transform it into a table, and positions it on the upper part of the seating plate (120) to transform it into a two-tiered stand.

[0046] To this end, the deformation part (300) further includes a pivot shaft (310), a first fastening hole (320), and a second fastening hole (330).

[0047] The pivot shaft (310) is formed by rotatably connecting the backrest portion (200) to the rear frame (112), and further includes a backrest frame connecting a square frame and a unidirectional frame on the rear of the backrest portion (200), and is connected to the rear frame (112) as an axis through the end surface of the backrest frame.

[0048] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the first fastening hole (320) is a hole that allows the locking pin (301) provided in the backrest portion (200) to be fastened to the connecting frame (113) connecting the front frame (111) and the rear frame (112).

[0049] Here, the locking pin (301) is provided on the backrest frame and slides the axis of the locking pin to be inserted into the first fastening hole (320), thereby restricting the rotation of the backrest part (200).

[0050] The second fastening hole (330) is a hole formed in the front frame (111) that allows the locking pin (301) to be released from the connecting frame (113) and the backrest part (200) to be rotated adjacent to the horizontal, and then the locking pin (301) to be fastened to the front frame (111).

[0051] For example, when the bench is modified to be used as a stall, the shaft of the locking pin (301) is slid in the bench mode to separate it from the first fastening hole (320). Then, the lower part of the backrest (200) is lifted and rotated to be adjacent to the horizontal, and the shaft of the locking pin (301) is inserted into the second fastening hole (330) formed in the front frame (111) to fix the rotated state of the backrest (200) and transform it into a two-tier stall together with the seating plate (120).

[0052] Meanwhile, in the kiosk-convertible bench (10) having a display and storage space for goods according to an embodiment of the present invention as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, the transformation part (300) may further include a first link (340) and a second link (350).

[0053] The first link (340) is formed as a plate that is rotatably connected to the backrest (200) at one end and extended to a predetermined width.

[0054] At this time, the first link (340) may further include a bent portion (341). The bent portion (341) is formed by bending the other side of the first link (340) at a predetermined angle, and when it is extended adjacent to the length of the second link (350) in parallel, it performs the function of distributing a portion of the load of the backrest portion (200).

[0055] That is, in the case of a straight line shape, the load of the backrest (200) is transferred to the part where the first link (340) and the second link (350) are rotatably connected, and since the relatively weak rotating part may be damaged, the other side of the first link (340) is bent to distribute the load of the backrest (200).

[0056] Additionally, the bending portion (341) allows the other side of the first link (340) and one side of the second link (350) to resist friction against each other when the backrest portion (200) is unfolded and rotated toward the rear of the seating portion (100), thereby inducing a reduction in the rapid rotation of the backrest portion (200).

[0057] For example, when the backrest (200) is transformed into a stall mode and then rotated back to its original direction for a bench mode, it may rotate rapidly in the direction of gravity due to the weight of the backrest (200). At this time, the other side of the first link (340) and one side of the second link (350) that are folded by the bending part (341) become adjacent to each other, thereby generating frictional resistance and reducing the rotational force of the backrest (200).

[0058] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the second link (350) is a plate formed with a shorter length than the first link (340), with one side rotatably connected to the other side of the first link (340) and the other side rotatably connected to the rear frame (112).

[0059] These first link (340) and second link (350) are connected so that both sides can rotate, and can be folded together according to the rotational direction of the backrest (200) so that one side faces each other, or unfolded and arranged in series adjacent to a straight direction.

[0060] Additionally, the first link (340) and the second link (350) act as driven members to prevent the backrest (200) from temporarily moving downward due to gravity when rotated, and to ensure that the rotation angles of one side and the other side in the longitudinal direction of the backrest (200) are equal to each other.

[0061] As illustrated in FIG. 1, a kiosk-convertible bench (10) having a display and storage space for goods according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a roof portion (400) and a storage portion (500).

[0062] The roof section (400) is formed by attaching the roof to the upper part of the side support section and providing lighting on one side of the roof, thereby preventing direct sunlight, rainwater from rain, fallen leaves, snow, and bird secretions from entering the stall directly. It also enables small business owners to operate a flea market by increasing the visibility of displayed goods and products at sunset or at night.

[0063] Additionally, the roof portion (400) may further include a battery module or a solar charging module that supplies power to the lighting, although this is not shown in the drawings of the specification herein. The battery module is electrically connected to the lighting under the roof, allowing the lighting to be driven independently even at night. The solar charging module is equipped with a solar panel on the upper surface of the roof to store solar thermal energy as electrical energy, enabling the lighting to be emitted when external electricity cannot be supplied at night.

[0064] The storage section (500) is formed by installing a wall at the bottom of the seating section (100) to create a space and is equipped with an opening and closing door on either the front or rear wall, allowing inventory items or personal belongings to be safely stored at the bottom of the bench without the need to move them outside. Additionally, it is desirable to further equip the opening and closing door with a door lock so that items can be safely stored when the small business owner ceases operations. Furthermore, although the opening and closing door of the storage section (500) is shown at the front of the bench in the drawings of this specification, it may be formed at the rear of the bench or at both the front and rear.

[0065] Additionally, although not shown in the drawing, at least one separator plate (510) may be detachably installed inside the storage section (500), thereby allowing for the storage of stock items for sale and personal belongings in separate compartments.

[0066] As explained above, the detailed description of the present invention describes preferred embodiments of the invention; however, this is merely an illustrative description of the best embodiments of the invention and is not intended to limit the invention. Furthermore, it is obvious that anyone skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains can make various modifications and imitations within the scope of the technical concept of the present invention without departing from it.

[0067] Accordingly, the scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above but may be implemented in various forms of embodiments within the scope of the appended claims. Furthermore, it is deemed that the scope of the claims of the present invention includes various modifications that are possible by anyone with ordinary knowledge in the technical field to which the invention belongs, without departing from the essence of the invention claimed in the claims.
