Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an additional impact device after a battery impact test.
[0002] More specifically, the invention relates to an additional impact device capable of minimizing the risk that may arise from a battery damaged by an impact test by applying an additional impact to a battery after the battery impact test has been completed. Background Technology
[0004] As the price of energy sources rises due to the depletion of fossil fuels and concerns about environmental pollution intensify, the demand for eco-friendly alternative energy sources is becoming an indispensable factor for future life; in particular, with the technological development and increasing demand for mobile devices, the demand for secondary batteries as an energy source is rapidly rising.
[0005] Generally, unlike primary batteries which cannot be recharged, secondary batteries refer to batteries that can be charged and discharged, and such secondary batteries are widely used in various fields such as mobile phones, laptops, and automobiles.
[0006] These secondary batteries can be classified into cylindrical batteries, prismatic batteries, pouch batteries, etc., depending on their shape. Since these batteries contain lithium ions with high chemical activity, they are required to have resistance to ignition and heat generation. In addition, secondary batteries include an electrode assembly in which thin electrode plates are densely packed. Since these electrode plates can be deformed by external impact and such deformation of the electrode plates can cause ignition or explosion of the battery, resistance to external impact is a major factor in determining battery quality.
[0007] To evaluate the performance of batteries against external shocks, impact tests are conducted by artificially applying impact to battery cells or battery packs.
[0008] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a chamber in which an impact test of such a battery is performed, where FIG. 1(a) is a front view and FIG. 1(b) is a side view.
[0009] As illustrated in FIG. 1, for example, a cylindrical battery (1) is placed on a base (12) or a bottom member (12') inside a chamber (10), and a weight (13) for impacting the battery is placed on top of the battery (1). Additionally, a rod (14) is placed on top of the battery (1) to prevent the weight (13) from directly impacting the battery. As shown in FIG. 1(b), the rod (14) is installed obliquely across the battery in the width direction to the left and right to restrict the left and right movement of the cylindrical battery (1). Of course, if there is a device capable of appropriately limiting the movement of the battery, it is also possible to install it horizontally across the battery as shown in FIG. 1(a).
[0010] In the impact test, the weight (13) is dropped free-falling or along a guide rail to apply a predetermined impact to the rod (14) and the battery (1). When the weight (13) falls and impacts the rod (14), the amount of impact can be measured by a sensor connected to the rod. In the impact test, the battery (1) may be dented or have surface damage due to the impact. Alternatively, the separator or electrode inside the battery may rupture, causing a short circuit and ignition, and the impact resistance of the battery can be evaluated based on the condition of the battery following such impact.
[0011] Meanwhile, if a worker accidentally drops or applies a small impact to a battery when removing it from the test chamber after an impact test, there is a possibility that a short circuit may occur in the battery, causing it to ignite or overheat. In other words, even if a battery does not overheat or appears to have no major abnormalities to the naked eye after an impact test, if the separator is torn internally, there is a possibility that a short circuit may occur in the battery even with a small impact. As such, when removing a battery from the chamber after an impact test, there is a risk that the worker may suffer unexpected injuries due to the battery overheating or ignition.
[0012] Therefore, it is desired to develop an additional safety device that can safely remove the battery by verifying the risk of the battery after the battery impact test. Prior art literature
[0014] Republic of Korea Published Patent Application No. 10-2018-0061614 The problem to be solved
[0015] The present invention was created to solve the above-mentioned problems and aims to provide an additional impact device that can minimize the risk that may occur after an impact test by applying an additional impact to the battery after the impact test. means of solving the problem
[0017] To solve the above problem, the present invention comprises an additional impact device after a battery impact test, the device comprising: a push member positioned toward the battery after the impact test; a push member propulsion means for applying a propulsive force to the push member; and an actuator means for releasing the propulsive force of the push member propulsion means so that the push member springs out and pushes the battery.
[0018] As an example, the battery may be located inside an impact test chamber, and the additional impact device may be installed on the inner wall of the impact test chamber, while the actuator means of the additional impact device may be installed to be located outside the impact test chamber.
[0019] Specifically, the push member propulsion means may include an elastic member that pushes the push member.
[0020] As an example, the battery is a cylindrical battery, and the push member can push the cylindrical battery along the length of the battery.
[0021] As another example, the battery may be a cylindrical battery, and the push member may push the cylindrical battery in the width direction of the battery.
[0022] As a specific example, the push member propulsion means comprises: a launch housing; an elastic member installed at the inner rear end of the launch housing; a pressure plate installed in front of the elastic member inside the launch housing; a wire coupled to the rear end of the pressure plate and extending through the elastic member; and a winding roller for winding the wire, wherein the elastic force of the elastic member is adjusted as the winding roller winds and unwinds the wire.
[0023] Specifically, the winding roller may have a motor built in or be connected to a motor, so that a wire can be wound onto the winding roller by driving the motor.
[0024] As an example, the actuator means includes a retractable cylinder member installed on the side wall of the launch housing in front of the pressure plate and retractable through the side wall into the launch housing, and when a piston provided in the retractable cylinder member protrudes into the launch housing, the movement of the pressure plate is prevented, and when the piston provided in the retractable cylinder member retracts to the outside of the launch housing, the movement of the pressure plate may be allowed.
[0025] Specifically, the actuator means may further comprise a drive motor that moves the piston of the retractable cylinder member. Alternatively, the retractable cylinder member may be an air pressure cylinder.
[0026] In another embodiment, the push member propulsion means comprises: a launch housing; an elastic member installed at the inner rear end of the launch housing; a pressure plate installed in front of the elastic member inside the launch housing; a wire coupled to the rear end of the pressure plate and extending through the elastic member; and a ratchet roller having a rotating shaft around which the wire is wound, wherein the elastic force of the elastic member is adjusted according to the degree to which the ratchet roller winds the wire.
[0027] Specifically, the ratchet roller may have a motor built in or be connected to a motor, so that a wire can be wound around the rotation axis of the ratchet roller by driving the motor.
[0028] In this case, the actuator means includes a trigger member that restricts the movement of the ratchet roller in the direction in which the wire is unwound by having a locking part that engages with a ratchet gear around the ratchet roller, and the movement of the pressure plate may be allowed when the locking of the locking part is released by the rotation of the trigger member.
[0029] Additionally, the above-mentioned additional impact device may be provided with actuator means further comprising an extendable cylinder member installed on the side wall of the launch housing in front of the pressure plate and extending into the launch housing through the side wall, and when the piston provided in the extendable cylinder member extends into the launch housing, the movement of the pressure plate is prevented, and when the piston provided in the extendable cylinder member retracts to the outside of the launch housing, the movement of the pressure plate may be allowed.
[0030] In another embodiment, the push member propulsion means may include: a launch housing; a pneumatic motor installed inside the launch housing; an air pump installed inside the launch housing and generating air pressure by the operation of the pneumatic motor; and a nozzle installed inside the launch housing in front of the air pump and ejecting the air pressure of the air pump to push the push member.
[0031] In this case, the actuator means includes a retractable cylinder member installed on the side wall of the launch housing in front of the push member when the push member is installed within the launch housing, and which retracts into the launch housing through the side wall; when a piston provided in the retractable cylinder member protrudes into the launch housing, the movement of the push member is prevented, and when the piston provided in the retractable cylinder member retracts to the outside of the launch housing, the movement of the push member may be allowed.
[0032] As an example, the push member may be connected to the push member propulsion means and a connecting member. Effects of the invention
[0034] According to the present invention, the possibility of heat generation or ignition occurring in the battery after a battery impact test can be detected in advance, allowing the battery to be safely removed from the impact test device.
[0035] Therefore, the risks that may occur after the impact test can be minimized. Brief explanation of the drawing

Specific details for implementing the invention
[0038] The detailed configuration of the present invention will be described below with reference to the attached drawings and various embodiments. The embodiments described below are presented as examples to aid in understanding the present invention, and the attached drawings are not drawn to actual scale to aid in understanding the invention, and the dimensions of some components may be exaggerated.
[0039] The present invention is capable of various modifications and may take various forms, and specific embodiments are illustrated in the drawings and described in detail in the text. However, this is not intended to limit the invention to the specific disclosed forms, and it should be understood that the invention includes all modifications, equivalents, and substitutions that fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
[0041] The present invention comprises an additional impact device for a battery impact test, comprising: a push member positioned toward the battery after the impact test; a push member propulsion means for applying a propulsion force to the push member; and an actuator means for releasing the propulsion force of the push member propulsion means so that the push member springs out and pushes the battery. Since additional heat generation or ignition may occur due to damage to the battery after the battery impact test is completed, the present invention is characterized by applying an additional impact to the battery after the impact test by means of an additional impact device. That is, although heat generation or ignition does not occur immediately, such phenomena may occur retrospectively after the impact test due to a small impact; therefore, the safety status of the battery can be verified by pushing the battery with a push member capable of applying an impact to the battery. At this time, it is not necessary to apply a strong impact amount as shown by the weight (13) in FIG. 1. That is, the weight of FIG. 1 is intended to test the impact resistance of the battery and requires a relatively strong impact pressure, but since the additional impact device of the present invention applies an additional impact to a battery that has already been impacted to verify the safety of the battery, it is not necessary to apply an impact strong enough to destroy the battery. For example, an impact strong enough to push the battery of FIG. 1 out of the restraint of the rod (14) is sufficient.
[0042] The present invention comprises a push member capable of pushing a battery to apply additional impact to the battery. As long as the push member has a pressing surface capable of pushing the battery, its shape is not limited; for example, it may be in the form of a plate, or a rectangular, circular, or elliptical member may be used.
[0043] In addition, the present invention comprises a push member propulsion means for pushing a push member to apply impact to a battery. The push member propulsion means may include an elastic member to push the push member. Alternatively, the push member propulsion means may include other pressure members, such as air pressure, in addition to the elastic force of the elastic member.
[0044] The additional impact device of the present invention also includes actuator means that, by releasing the thrust of the push member propulsion means, the push member can spring toward the battery and push the battery to apply an additional impact force. For example, to release the thrust of the push member propulsion means, an actuator means controlled mechanically or electronically may be provided. Additionally, the actuator means may be provided with an operating button for releasing the thrust of the push member propulsion means.
[0045] FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram showing the state in which the additional impact device (100) of the present invention is placed in an impact test chamber (10).
[0046] As illustrated, the additional impact device (100) of the present invention is installed on the inner wall (11) of an impact test chamber (10) to apply additional impact to a battery (1) installed in the chamber. At this time, for the safety of the operator, it is preferable that the actuator means (110) of the additional impact device (100) be installed at least outside the impact test chamber (10). As illustrated in FIG. 2, the additional impact device (100) includes a push member (130) positioned toward the battery, a push member propulsion means (120) that applies propulsion force to the push member, and an actuator means (110) that releases the propulsion force of the push member propulsion means (120). The push member propulsion means (120) is provided with an elastic member (121) between it and the push member to push the push member (130). In addition, the operating button of the actuator means (110) or the push member propulsion means is installed at least outside the chamber (10), and by operating it so that the push member (130) is fired toward the battery, additional impact can be safely applied to the battery (1).
[0047] There are no restrictions on the shape of the battery subject to the impact test, and the impact test can be performed on cylindrical batteries, prismatic batteries, pouch batteries, etc. Therefore, the additional impact device of the present invention can be applied to these various types of batteries. FIG. 2 shows the state in which the additional impact device (100) is applied after the impact test of a cylindrical battery (1).
[0048] As illustrated, since the battery (1) and the additional impact device (100) are positioned at a predetermined distance apart, it is preferable that the push member (130) of the additional impact device (100) is propelled toward the battery by the push member propulsion means (120), i.e., fired. As shown in FIG. 2, the additional impact device (100) of the present invention can push the cylindrical battery (1) in the width direction of the battery. Alternatively, the additional impact device (100) can be installed to push the cylindrical battery (1) in the length direction of the battery. In short, as shown in FIG. 1, the direction of impact by the additional impact device can be adjusted so that the battery is pushed in a direction that avoids restraint of the battery by the rod.
[0049] Hereinafter, the additional impact device of the present invention will be described in more detail by way of specific embodiments.
[0051] (First embodiment)
[0052] FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing the appearance of a push member before and after firing as a first embodiment of the additional impact device of the present invention.
[0053] In this embodiment, a roughly rectangular member is disclosed as the push member (130), but the shape of the push member (130) can be changed in various ways as long as it can apply an appropriate impact to the battery.
[0054] In this embodiment, the push member propulsion means (120) is provided with a launch housing (122), and the push member (130) is received within the launch housing (122) (see FIG. 3(a)).
[0055] An elastic member (121) is installed at the inner rear end of the launch housing (122), and a pressure plate (123) for applying pressure to the elastic member (121) is installed at the inner end of the launch housing (122) in front of the elastic member (121). Additionally, a wire (124) is installed at the rear end of the pressure plate (123), and the wire (124) extends through the elastic member (121) and is wound onto a winding roller (125). The winding roller (125) is installed on the outer side of the launch housing (122) to wind the wire (124). In this embodiment, the winding roller (125) is positioned on the outer side of the launch housing (122), but the winding roller (125) may also be installed on the inner side of the housing (122). In the latter case, there is an advantage that the push member propulsion means (120) can be configured more compactly, whereas in the former case, since the winding roller (125) can be installed on the outside of the housing (122), there is an advantage that the size of the winding roller (125) can be freely selected.
[0056] When the wire (124) is wound with the winding roller (125), as shown in FIG. 3(a), the pressure plate (123) connected to the wire (124) moves toward the elastic member (121) and can apply pressure to the elastic member (121). Therefore, the elastic force of the elastic member (121) can be adjusted depending on how much the wire (124) is wound and unwound with the winding roller (125). Although the winding roller (125) can be manually rotated by an operator to wind the wire (124), it is preferable to install a motor (not shown) on the winding roller (125) so that the wire (124) is automatically wound onto the winding roller (125) by motor drive. The motor may be embedded in the winding roller (125), or it is possible to drive the winding roller (125) by connecting a separately installed motor to the winding roller (125) using a predetermined electric drive means. The motor may be driven to accumulate an elastic force within a predetermined set range in the elastic member (121), and after winding the wire (124) onto the winding roller (125), the motor operation may be stopped. In order to prevent the elastic force exerted by the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) from being released even when the motor operation is stopped, this embodiment is equipped with a predetermined actuator means (110A).
[0057] As illustrated in FIG. 3(a), the additional impact device (100) of the first embodiment is provided with an extendable cylinder member (110A) installed on the side wall of the launch housing (122) in front of the pressure plate (123). FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram showing the appearance of the actuator means (110A) of FIG. 3 before and after operation. The extendable cylinder member (110A) is provided with a cylinder (112) and a piston (113) that extends from the cylinder. The piston (113) is installed to extend into the inside of the launch housing (122) through an insertion hole (122a) formed in the wall of the launch housing (122). The above piston (113) can be moved to protrude into the firing housing (122) by, for example, a driving motor (111) as in FIG. 4(a), and at this time, as in FIG. 3(a), a pressure plate (123) is caught on the piston (113) so that the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) do not move further along the firing housing (122). Accordingly, in this case, the piston or the protruding cylinder member (110A) acts as a stopper for the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123).
[0058] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 4(b), when the drive motor (111) is operated in the opposite direction to retract the piston of the protruding cylinder member (110A) to the outside of the launch housing (122), the thrust applied to the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) is released as shown in FIG. 3(b), allowing the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) to move toward the exit of the launch housing (122).
[0059] The retractable movement of the above-described retractable cylinder member (110A) can be performed by the drive motor (111) as described above, but it can also be performed by air pressure by connecting to a predetermined pressure source. That is, the above-described retractable cylinder member (110A) can be configured as an air pressure cylinder. The actuator means of this embodiment may further include a predetermined operation button for turning the drive motor (111) of the above-described retractable cylinder member (110A) on and off, or for supplying and cutting off air pressure. Accordingly, an operator can control the retractable movement of the above-described cylinder member (110A) by pressing this operation button. Alternatively, a control unit that controls the air supply by the drive motor or pressure source is provided, and by controlling the operation of the drive motor, etc., with this control unit, the cutting off and releasing of the propulsion force of the above-described push member propulsion means (120) can be implemented as an automatic device.
[0060] The operation of the additional impact device of the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4 will be explained.
[0061] First, with the piston (113) of the retractable cylinder member (110A), which is part of the actuator means, moved to the outside of the retractable housing (122), the wire (124) is wound with the winding roller (125) to compress the pressure plate (123) and the elastic member (121) constrained thereto as shown in FIG. 3(a). At this time, the winding roller (125) can be automatically driven by a motor to easily wind the wire (124) around the winding roller (125).
[0062] Subsequently, when the piston (113) of the above-mentioned cylinder member (110A) is moved into the firing housing (122), the movement of the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) is restricted by the piston (113) even if the motor operation of the winding roller (125) is stopped. In this state, when the push member is inserted into the firing housing (122) and positioned in front of the pressure plate (123), the preparation for firing of the push member (130) is completed.
[0063] Next, when the operator presses the operating button or, by a control instruction from the control unit, moves the piston of the protruding cylinder member (110A) to the outside of the firing housing (122), the pressure plate (123) moves strongly toward the exit of the firing housing (122) as shown in FIG. 3(b) by means of the elastic force (propulsion force) accumulated in the elastic member (121), and by means of this propulsion force, the push member (130) springs out toward the battery and applies additional impact to the battery.
[0065] (Second embodiment)
[0066] FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram showing the appearance of the push member (130) before and after firing as a second embodiment of the additional impact device of the present invention.
[0067] Since this embodiment is identical to the first embodiment in that the push member propulsion means (120') is equipped with a launching housing (122), an elastic member (121), a pressure plate (123), and a wire (124) coupled to the pressure plate (123), the description of these components will be omitted.
[0068] The second embodiment is different from the first embodiment in the configuration of the member on which the wire (124) is wound and the actuator means.
[0069] In this embodiment, a wire (124) connected to the rear end of the pressure plate (123) is wound around the rotation axis (125'b) of the ratchet roller. The ratchet roller (125') is equipped with a rotation axis (125'b) and a ratchet gear (125'a), and by rotating the ratchet roller (125'), the wire (124) can be wound around the rotation axis (125'b) of the ratchet roller (125'). Accordingly, the elastic force of the elastic member (121) can be adjusted according to the degree of winding of the ratchet roller (125').
[0070] The rotational drive of the ratchet roller (125') may be manually operated by a worker to turn the roller and wind the wire (124), but it is preferable to install a motor (not shown) on the ratchet roller (125') so that the wire (124) is automatically wound by motor drive. The motor may be built into the ratchet roller (125'), or it is also possible to drive the ratchet roller (125') by connecting a separately installed motor to the ratchet roller (125') using a predetermined electric drive means. The motor may be driven to accumulate an elastic force within a predetermined set range in the elastic member (121), and after winding the wire (124) onto the ratchet roller (125'), the motor operation may be stopped. In order to prevent the elastic force by the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) from being released even when the motor operation is stopped, this embodiment is equipped with a predetermined actuator means.
[0071] As illustrated in FIG. 5(a), the additional impact device of the second embodiment includes a trigger member (110B) having a catch portion that engages with a ratchet gear (125'a) formed around a ratchet roller (125') as an actuator means. The catch portion of the trigger member (110B) engages with the ratchet gear (125'a) to restrict the rotation of the ratchet roller in one direction (clockwise). The trigger member (110B) has a catch portion that engages with the ratchet gear (125'a) and a hinge axis at its center. When the ratchet roller is rotated counterclockwise, the ratchet roller can wrap a wire (124) around its central axis so that a pressure plate (123) connected to the wire (124) presses against the elastic member (121). Even if the rotation of the ratchet roller (125') is stopped in this state, the ratchet roller (125') is restricted by the catch portion of the trigger member (110B) and does not rotate clockwise.
[0072] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 5(b), when the trigger member (110B) is rotated counterclockwise, the engagement of the ratchet gear (125'a) by the locking part is released, causing the ratchet roller to rotate clockwise, and accordingly, the thrust applied to the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) is released, allowing the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) to move toward the exit of the launch housing (122).
[0073] In the state of Fig. 5(a), when the push member (130) is inserted into the firing housing (122) and positioned in front of the pressure plate (123), the preparation for firing of the push member (130) is completed.
[0074] Next, when the operator rotates the trigger member (110B) counterclockwise, the locking of the trigger member (110B) is released, causing the ratchet roller (125') to rotate. Consequently, the pressure plate (123) moves strongly toward the exit of the launch housing (122) as shown in FIG. 5(b) due to the elastic force (propulsion force) accumulated in the elastic member (121). Due to this propulsion force, the push member (130) springs out toward the battery and applies additional impact to the battery. The rotational movement or release of the trigger member (110B) can be performed manually by the operator, but it can also be performed automatically by pressing an operation button connected to the trigger member (110B) by a predetermined electric member or by a control signal from the control unit.
[0076] (Third embodiment)
[0077] FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram showing the appearance of the push member (130) before and after firing as a third embodiment of the additional impact device of the present invention.
[0078] This embodiment is identical to the second embodiment in that it is equipped with a ratchet roller (125') and a trigger member (110B). However, the third embodiment further includes an extendable cylinder member (110A) similar to the first embodiment as an actuator means.
[0079] That is, this embodiment enables the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) to be more reliably maintained under pressure by being caught by the trigger member (110B) and by blocking the pressure plate (123) by the piston (113) of the protruding cylinder member (110A). Since the movement of the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) is prevented by two actuator means, the elastic member (121) can be stably maintained even when compressed with a greater pressure, thereby increasing the propulsion force of the additional impact device.
[0080] The operation of the additional impact device of the embodiment shown in FIG. 6 is explained.
[0081] First, with the piston (113) of the protruding cylinder member (110A), which is part of the actuator means, moved to the outside of the launching housing (122), the wire (124) is wound with the ratchet roller (125') to compress the pressure plate (123) and the elastic member (121) constrained thereto as shown in FIG. 6(a). At this time, the ratchet roller (125') can be automatically driven by a motor to easily wind the wire (124) around the rotation axis (125'b) of the ratchet roller (125').
[0082] Even if the motor connected to the ratchet roller (125') is stopped after winding the wire (124), the ratchet gear (125'a) of the ratchet roller (125') is blocked from moving clockwise by the catch of the trigger member (110B), so the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) remain stable without moving. In this case, when the piston of the protruding cylinder member (110A) is moved into the firing housing (122), the movement of the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) is further restricted by the piston (113). That is, in this case, the pressure of the pressure plate (123) can be supported by the piston, so the pressure of the elastic member (121) and the pressure plate (123) applied to the trigger member (110B) is dispersed. Therefore, damage to the trigger member (110B) can be prevented and its lifespan extended.
[0083] In this state, when the push member (130) is inserted into the firing housing (122) and positioned in front of the pressure plate (123), the preparation for firing of the push member (130) is completed.
[0084] Next, when the operator presses the operation button or receives a control instruction from the control unit, the piston of the protruding cylinder member (110A) is moved to the outside of the firing housing (122) and the trigger member (110B) is rotated counterclockwise, the pressure plate (123) moves strongly toward the exit of the firing housing (122) as shown in FIG. 5(b) by means of the elastic force (propulsion force) accumulated in the elastic member (121), and by means of this propulsion force, the push member (130) is propelled toward the battery and applies additional impact to the battery.
[0086] (Fourth embodiment)
[0087] FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram showing the appearance of the push member (130) before and after firing as a fourth embodiment of the additional impact device of the present invention.
[0088] The additional impact device of this embodiment is equipped with a launching housing (122) capable of accommodating a push member (130), just like the embodiments of FIGS. 3 to 6. In addition, it is also equipped with a retractable cylinder member (110A) that moves in and out of the launching housing (122), just like the embodiments of FIGS. 3 to 6.
[0089] However, the present embodiment differs in that the push member propulsion means (120'') is not equipped with an elastic member (121). The push member propulsion means (120'') of the fourth embodiment obtains a propulsion force to launch the push member (130) by air pressure from an air pump, rather than by the elastic force of the elastic member (121).
[0090] In addition, the protruding cylinder member (110A) of the present invention differs from the first to third embodiments in that it is not intended to block the pressure plate (123), but rather functions to directly block and release the push member (130) as described below.
[0091] As illustrated in FIG. 7, a pneumatic motor (126) is installed on the inner side of the launch housing (122). An air pump (127) that generates air pressure by motor operation is installed in front of the pneumatic motor (126). A nozzle (128) that expels the air pressure from the air pump to push out the push member (130) is installed in front of the air pump (127). The nozzle (128) is inserted into an air guide tube (129) installed on the inner wall of the launch housing (122) and can spray high-pressure air through this air guide tube (129). Since the generation of air pressure by the pneumatic motor (126) and the air pump (127) is known in the field of mechanical drive, a detailed description thereof is omitted.
[0092] The operation of the additional impact device of the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 7 is explained.
[0093] First, with the piston (113) of the protruding cylinder member (110A), which is part of the actuator means, moved to the outside of the firing housing (122), the push member (130) is positioned in front of the air guide tube (129).
[0094] In this state, when the piston of the above-mentioned protruding cylinder member (110A) is moved into the firing housing (122), the movement of the above-mentioned push member (130) is restricted by the piston (113).
[0095] Afterwards, when the above pneumatic motor (126) is driven to generate high-pressure air from the air pump (127), the air pressure acts on the rear of the push member (130) through the nozzle (128) and the air guide pipe (129).
[0096] When the air pressure reaches a set predetermined range, the operator presses the operating button or, by control instruction from the control unit, moves the piston of the protruding cylinder member (110A) to the outside of the firing housing (122). Then, due to the high air pressure, the push member (130) moves strongly toward the exit of the firing housing (122) as shown in Fig. 7(b), and due to this propulsion force, the push member (130) springs out toward the battery and applies additional impact to the battery.
[0097] In the above embodiments, the push member (130) is launched from the launch housing (122) to apply impact to the battery. The push member (130) may be connected to the push member propulsion means (120) by a line, such as a connecting wire (not shown), so that it is not lost after launch and can be conveniently reused. For example, if the push member (130) is connected to a pressure plate (123) installed in the launch housing (122) by a connecting wire, the push member (130) can be easily found by pulling the connecting wire after launching the push member (130), and the push member can be easily mounted to the launch housing (122) of the push member propulsion means (120).
[0098] The present invention has been described in more detail above through drawings and embodiments. However, the configurations described in the drawings or embodiments described in this specification are merely one embodiment of the present invention and do not represent all technical concepts of the present invention; therefore, it should be understood that various equivalents and modifications that can replace them may exist at the time of filing this application.
