Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a reinforcing plate for a door closer that prevents the door closer from being detached from the fire door even after prolonged use of the door closer attached to the fire door. Background Technology

[0002] A door closer is installed on a fire door installed in a public area of a multi-unit building to allow the fire door to close automatically. A general door closer (10) is configured such that a body (11) is fixed to the inside of a fire door (20) by a screw (12), and a main arm (14) connected to a rotating shaft (13) installed on the body (11) and an auxiliary arm (15) fixed to a door frame (18) by a bracket (16) are connected. Although the door closer (10) allows the fire door (20) to close automatically, the fixing force of the screw fixing the body of the door closer installed on the fire door in the common area is lower than the pressure of the fire door closing. Therefore, if the frequency of opening and closing the fire door is high and a period of use elapses, the body of the door closer fixed to the fire door becomes detached from the fire door.

[0003] If the body of the door closer is removed from the fire door, it can be re-secured using screws, but in this case, the screw holes become loose and a secure fixation cannot be achieved. Therefore, the current practice is to repair and use the door closer by fixing a plate-shaped mounting plate, which has a slightly wider surface area than the body of the door closer, to the fire door and then fixing the body of the door closer to the front of the mounting plate with screws.

[0004] This method of increasing the fixing force of a door closer by using a mounting plate is fundamentally limited to increasing fixing force and does not prevent the door closer from being removed, as it is installed by simply attaching the mounting plate to the surface of the fire door. Since the door closer provides a force opposing the opening force when the fire door opens and, conversely, provides a pulling force in the closing direction when the fire door closes, the door closer must withstand the kinetic energy in the opposite direction to the opening and closing motion of the fire door in order to prevent the door closer from being removed.

[0005] In particular, when fire doors are frequently used and excessive force is applied, the door closer loses control and closes with high speed and strong force, and when this phenomenon is repeated, even if a mounting plate is installed on the fire door, the door closer cannot be removed. Prior art literature

[0006] [Reference 1] Patent Registration No. 10-1756197 (July 4, 2017) The problem to be solved

[0007] The present invention aims to solve the problem that the conventional method of attaching a separate mounting plate to a fire door and then installing the door closer on top of it to increase the fixing force of a door closer installed on a fire door fails to provide fixing force sufficient to offset the strong kinetic energy applied to the door closer. The invention comprises a reinforcing plate having an area larger than that of the body of the door closer, and a hook portion provided on the upper side of the reinforcing plate that engages with the upper folding portion of the fire door and is screw-fixed to the upper recess of the fire door. On the lower side of the reinforcing plate, a support portion is formed to support the body of the door closer, and a fitting hole is formed in the support portion to which a rotating shaft protruding from the lower side of the body of the door closer is inserted. When fixing the reinforcing plate to the fire door, the upper hook portion is fixed by being fitted into the upper folding portion of the fire door, and the lower support portion supports the body while allowing the rotating shaft to be inserted, thereby providing strong fixing force while offsetting the energy applied to the door closer at the hook portion when the fire door opens and closes, thereby [improving] the door closer's Prevents removal. means of solving the problem

[0008] The present invention fixes a reinforcing plate to a fire door on which the body of a door closer is installed, thereby fixing the door closer to the fire door through the reinforcing plate, wherein the reinforcing plate is installed in a manner that spans the fire door and supports the body of the door closer, so that when the fire door opens, the body of the door closer can sufficiently withstand the force pulling the fire door, and when the fire door closes, the force attempting to detach the body of the door closer is offset when the fire door is pulled or when the fire door closes rapidly, thereby preventing the door closer from being detached. The force attempting to detach the body of the door closer from the fire door is offset at the spanning portion of the reinforcing plate.

[0009] The present invention is formed by using a metal plate to form a reinforcing plate with an area larger than that of the body of the door closer, and forming a groove on the upper side of the reinforcing plate that engages with a folding part formed to protrude above the fire door, wherein a hook portion is formed in the groove that covers the upper recess of the fire door and is fixed with a screw, and a support portion that supports the body of the door closer is formed at a right angle on the lower side of the reinforcing plate, wherein a fitting hole is formed in the support portion into which a rotating shaft protruding below the body of the door closer is inserted. Since the reinforcing plate is installed in a manner that engages with the fire door and is simultaneously fixed while supporting the body of the door closer, the impact applied to the body of the door closer when the fire door opens and closes prevents the reinforcing plate from detaching, thereby preventing the door closer from being removed.

[0010] The present invention can form a full-hanging portion that covers the entire upper inner and outer sides of the fire door without forming a groove on the upper side of the reinforcing plate and is not fixed with screws, or a half-hanging portion that hangs over only a part of the upper side of the fire door and is fixed with screws. Since a part of the full-hanging portion is exposed from the outside when the fire door is closed, if the name "fire door" is written or engraved on the full-hanging portion exposed from the inside of the fire door, it is possible to easily identify it as a fire door by looking at the characters displayed on the full-hanging portion in the event of a fire or in an urgent situation.

[0011] In addition, the present invention can form a side hook portion that wraps around the side of the fire door on the side without forming a groove on the upper side of the reinforcing plate, and by forming a side hook portion on the side of the reinforcing plate so that the reinforcing plate is fixed in a state fitted to the side of the fire door, the reinforcing plate is prevented from detaching from the side hook portion when the fire door is opened and closed, thereby preventing the door closer from being removed.

[0012] The present invention does not form a support portion on the lower side of the reinforcing plate, but instead forms an incision portion by cutting a part of the middle portion of the reinforcing plate, and the incision portion protrudes forward and is bent orthogonally from the upper side, and then forms a fitting hole in the incision portion into which a rotating shaft protruding from the upper part of the body of the door closer is inserted, and then, in the process of fixing the door closer, the upper rotating shaft of the door closer is inserted into the fitting hole, and then the incision portion can be fixed to the body with a fixing nut.

[0013] In addition, the present invention can form an incision as described above, and if it is desired to manufacture the reinforcing plate as a thin-diameter plate, the strength can be reinforced by forming a double portion where the door closer is fixed by bending and compressing a part from the bottom to the back of the reinforcing plate. Alternatively, the reinforcing plate can be manufactured in a double portion and fixed with rivets. When the reinforcing plate is manufactured in a double portion, the difficulties associated with bending are reduced, while the strength can be reinforced by manufacturing it in a double portion. Effects of the invention

[0014] The present invention fixes a reinforcing plate having a larger surface area than the body of the door closer to a fire door at a location where the door closer is fixed, wherein the upper side of the reinforcing plate is installed in a manner that spans the fire door, while the lower side of the reinforcing plate is installed in a manner that supports the body of the door closer. By ensuring that the reinforcing plate does not detach from the impact applied when opening or closing the fire door, the reinforcing plate can reliably withstand the impact applied to the body of the door closer, thereby preventing the detachment of the door closer body.

[0015] In particular, the present invention does not fix the reinforcing plate only by attaching it to the front of the fire door, but supports the door closer body by installing it over the upper side of the fire door, so that the fire door and the door closer become one unit, thereby preventing the door closer from being detached due to impact applied to the fire door.

[0016] The present invention allows a portion of the upper folded part to be covered or the entire upper part when a reinforcing plate is placed over the upper side of a fire door, and depending on the type of fire door, a portion of the fire door can be covered without the folded part, and when the upper part of the fire door is covered, the inner side of the fire door can be exposed to improve external visibility.

[0017] In addition, the present invention does not form a support portion on the lower side of the reinforcing plate, but instead cuts a portion of the middle part of the reinforcing plate to form an incision and uses it to fix the door closer, which can be selected and used depending on the condition of the door closer, can reinforce the strength of the reinforcing plate, and has the advantage of being easy to manufacture. [0019] The present invention is intended to prevent a door closer, which allows a fire door to open and close smoothly, from being detached from the fire door due to the frequency of use and impact of the fire door. It is provided with a reinforcing plate to which the body of the door closer is fixed, wherein the reinforcing plate is configured to be positioned over the upper side of the fire door and simultaneously support the body of the door closer, and then the body of the door closer is fixed to the reinforcing plate, thereby preventing the reinforcing plate from detaching due to the impact generated when opening and closing the fire door, thus preventing the door closer from being detached.

[0020] The present invention will be explained in detail based on the attached exemplary drawings.

[0021] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the usage state of the first embodiment of the present invention. A reinforcing plate (30) is manufactured using a metal plate with a thickness of 1.6 mm or more, and using stainless steel is advantageous for robustness and long-term use, because a metal plate with a thickness of 1.6 mm or less has weak reinforcing power, and a metal plate with a thickness of 2 mm or more can be used at a cost.

[0022] The reinforcing plate (30) is formed to have a larger surface area than the body (11) of the door closer (10), and a groove (31) is formed on the upper side of the reinforcing plate (30) to be fitted over a folding part (21) formed protruding on the upper side of the fire door (20), and a hanging part (32) is formed in the groove (31) to cover the upper recessed part (22) of the fire door (20) and fixed with a piece (41), and a support part (33) is formed protrudingly on the lower side of the reinforcing plate (30) to support the lower side of the body (11) of the door closer (10), and a fitting hole (34) is formed in the support part (33) to be fitted with a rotating shaft (13) protruding to the lower side of the body (11) of the door closer (10).

[0023] Here, the step groove (31) is installed in a shape that is almost the same as the thickness of the folding part (21), so that when the step groove (31) is inserted into the folding part (21), it is pressed in and does not move after being inserted, and the insertion hole (34) formed in the support part (33) allows the rotating shaft (13) protruding downward from the door clutch (10) to be inserted, and when the protective cap protecting the rotating shaft (13) is placed, it is inserted including the protective cap.

[0024] The reinforcing plate (30) of the present invention is installed between the fire door (20) and the body (11) of the door closer (10) on the inside of the fire door (20) where the door closer (10) is installed. After removing the door closer (10) from the fire door (20), the reinforcing plate (30) is installed on the fire door (20). The groove (31) of the reinforcing plate (30) is installed so that it fits into the upper folding part (21) of the fire door (20), thereby making the hanging part (32) cover the upper recessed part (22) of the fire door (20). Then, a screw (41) is driven from the hanging part (32) to the recessed part (22) so that the reinforcing plate (30) does not detach due to the movement of the reinforcing plate (30) and the impact of the fire door (20) closing.

[0025] During the process of fixing the door plate (30), the door closer (10) can be fixed by avoiding the existing screw holes, which can increase the fixing force.

[0026] When the reinforcing plate (30) is installed, the body (11) of the door closer (10) is supported on the support part (33) and the rotating shaft (13) is inserted into the insertion hole (34). Then, the body (11) of the door closer (10) is fixed with a piece (12), and the piece (12) is inserted into the piece hole formed in the body (11) of the door closer (10), and then the fixing is completed through the reinforcing plate (30) and the fire door (20).

[0027] When the door closer (10) is fixed using the reinforcing plate (30) of the present invention, the door closer (10) is fixed in a state supported by the support portion (33) of the reinforcing plate (30), and the reinforcing plate (30) is fixed in a state where the hook groove (31) is fitted into the folding portion (21) of the fire door (20). Therefore, even if the door closer (10) receives a force that causes it to detach from the fire door (20) during the use of the door closer (10), the reinforcing plate (30) is fixed by being hooked onto the fire door (20) by the hook portion (32), and the body (11) of the door closer (10) is fixed while being supported by the support portion (33), so the door closer (10) does not detach unless a strong force is applied.

[0028] That is, even if used frequently for a long time, the reinforcing plate (30) is fixed across the fire door (20), and the body (11) of the door closer (10) is supported and fixed by the support portion (33) of the reinforcing plate (30). Therefore, even if the door closer (10) does not operate and the fire door (20) closes at a fast speed, the reinforcing plate (30) absorbs the impact, so the phenomenon of the door closer (10) being detached from the fire door (20) is prevented.

[0029] Since the reinforcing plate (30) is placed over the step groove (31) and the rotation axis (13) is inserted into the fitting hole (34) of the support part (33), the rotation axis (13) of the door closer (10) rotates according to the opening and closing of the fire door (20), so the malfunction of the door closer (10) can be greatly reduced.

[0030] Meanwhile, FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing the usage state of the second embodiment of the present invention, wherein the hanging groove (31) of the first embodiment is eliminated and the hanging portion (32) is formed as a full hanging portion (32a) that covers the upper side of the fire door (20) both front and back.

[0031] The full hanging portion (32a) of the present invention does not form a hanging groove (31) on the upper side of the reinforcing plate (30) and covers the entire upper inner and outer sides of the fire door (20) without being fixed with screws. The cross-section of the full hanging portion (32a) of the present invention has a U-shape and is installed by being fitted onto the upper side of the fire door (20), and is fixed without using screws.

[0032] The present invention has the same operation and effect as the first embodiment, but with the difference that it does not use a piece and is formed in a shape that is inserted so as to be exposed from the front and back on the upper side of the fire door (20). Even if the fire door (20) is used frequently for a long time, the reinforcing plate (30) is fixed by being stretched across the fire door (20), and the body (11) of the door closer (10) is fixed by being supported by the reinforcing plate (30). Therefore, even if the fire door (20) closes at a fast speed without the door closer (10) operating, the reinforcing plate (30) absorbs the impact, so the phenomenon of the door closer (10) being detached from the fire door (20) is prevented.

[0033] The front hanging portion (32a) formed on the reinforcing plate (30) of the present invention is fitted onto the upper side of the fire door (20). The reinforcing plate (30) is exposed to the inside of the fire door (20) to fix the door closer (10), and the front hanging portion (32a) is exposed to the outside of the fire door (20). The front hanging portion (32a), which is exposed to the outside of the fire door (20) and hung thereon, uses colors and text to indicate the fire door, thereby allowing anyone to quickly identify that it is a fire door.

[0034] That is, when the fire door (20) is closed, a portion of the front-hanging portion (32a) is exposed on the outside of the fire door (20) as shown in FIG. 8, so that the word "fire door" engraved or written on the front-hanging portion (32a) can be seen from the outside and recognized as a fire door. If the word "fire door" is written or engraved on the surface of the front-hanging portion (32a) of the present invention, anyone can easily recognize that it is a fire door by looking at the front-hanging portion (32a) in the event of a fire or in an urgent situation, and if treated with red color, it has more certain visibility.

[0035] And, FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the third embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view showing the usage state of the third embodiment of the present invention, wherein instead of eliminating the groove (31) of the first embodiment, a half-hanging part (32b) is formed in which the hanging part (32) rests only on the upper part of the fire door (20) and is fixed with a piece (41).

[0036] The half-hanging portion (32b) of the present invention is not formed with a groove (31) on the upper side of the reinforcing plate (30), but is covered only from the upper side to the inner side of the fire door (20) and fixed with a piece (41). The half-hanging portion (32b) of the present invention is used selectively depending on the shape of the fire door (20).

[0037] The present invention has the same operation and effect as the first embodiment, but the difference is that, depending on the type of fire door (20), the folding part (21) is not formed, so the half-hanging part (32b) is only half-hanging over the upper side of the fire door (20) and then fixed using a screw (41). Even if the fire door (20) is used frequently for a long time, the reinforcing plate (30) is fixed by being hung over the fire door (20), and the body (11) of the door closer (10) is supported and fixed by the reinforcing plate (30). Therefore, even if the fire door (20) closes at a fast speed without the door closer (10) operating, the reinforcing plate (30) absorbs the impact, so the phenomenon of the door closer (10) being detached from the fire door (20) is prevented.

[0038] In addition, FIG. 7 is a perspective view of the fourth embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view showing the usage state of the fourth embodiment of the present invention, wherein instead of removing the step groove (31) and the hook portion (32) of the first embodiment, a side hook portion (32c) is formed on the side, and then the reinforcing plate (30) is fixed with a piece (41) while the side hook portion (32c) wraps around the side of the fire door (20).

[0039] The side covering portion (32c) of the present invention is formed on the side of the reinforcing plate (30), and has the same operation and effect as the first embodiment, with only a part of its structure being different.

[0040] And, FIGS. 11 and 12 are a perspective view and a cross-sectional view of the fifth embodiment of the present invention, wherein a support portion (33) is not formed on the lower side of the reinforcing plate (30) of the first embodiment, and a portion of the middle part of the reinforcing plate (30) is cut to form an incision portion (35), wherein the incision portion (35) protrudes forward and is bent orthogonally from the upper side, and a fitting hole (34a) is formed in the incision portion (35) into which a rotating shaft protruding from the upper side of the body (11) of the door closer (10) is fitted, and then in the process of fixing the door closer (10) to the front of the reinforcing plate (30), the rotating shaft protruding upward from the door closer (10) is fitted into the fitting hole (34a), and then a fixing nut is fastened to the outside of the rotating shaft from the upper side of the incision portion (35) to fix it.

[0041] That is, the door closer (10) is supported by the support part (33) as in the first embodiment, but the body (11) of the door closer (10) is not fixed to the reinforcing plate (30) and the fire door while the rotating shaft (13) is inserted into the insertion hole (34), and by forming a cut part (35) with an insertion hole (34a) formed in the reinforcing plate (30), the rotating shaft protruding from the top of the door closer (10) is inserted into the insertion hole (34a) of the cut part (35), and then a fixing nut is fastened to fix it, and then the body (11) of the door closer (10) is fixed to the reinforcing plate (30) and the fire door.

[0042] FIGS. 13 and 14 are a perspective view and a cross-sectional view of the sixth embodiment of the present invention. In the case where a cut portion (35) is formed as in the fifth embodiment, but the reinforcing plate (30) is to be made of a thin diameter plate, the strength can be reinforced by forming a double portion of the door closer (10) fixed by bending and compressing a portion from the lower side of the reinforcing plate (30) toward the back side.

[0043] In addition, as in the 6th embodiment, instead of folding and compressing, it can be manufactured in a double form and fixed using rivets in an overlapping manner, and this method reduces the difficulties associated with folding while reinforcing strength by manufacturing in a double form.

[0044] As described above, the reinforcing plate (30) of the present invention can be installed by forming a groove (31) and inserting it into the folding part (21) of the fire door (20), and then fixing the hanging part (32) to the upper side of the fire door (20) with a piece (41), or by inserting the full hanging part (32a) in a manner that covers the upper side of the fire door (20), or by forming a half hanging part (32b) depending on the type of fire door (20) so that only a part of the upper side of the fire door (20) is covered, or by using a side hanging part (32c). The reinforcing plate (30) has a support part (33) that protrudes at a right angle and is fixed in a state that supports the body (11) of the door closer (10). Explanation of the symbols
