Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a desk calendar (diary), and more specifically, it improves the configuration of a widely distributed desk calendar so that various memo pads can be inserted and displayed during use, or various decorative items such as clocks can be attached to provide decorative value while additionally producing a good advertising effect, thereby greatly enhancing the functionality of the calendar. Background Technology
[0002] Generally, desk calendars that are widely distributed during the year-end and New Year holidays are characterized by their structural features of being foldable, with 12 monthly calendar pages bound by springs on both sides of a base made of thick paper forming a triangular base, and they have been widely distributed mainly as gifts for advertisers until now.
[0003] However, such desk calendars had the problem of having monotonous product value because they did not implement any special additional functions other than the monthly calendar function.
[0004] Meanwhile, as prior art for a calendar with a memo storage function, a desk calendar equipped with a pencil holder and a memo holder, as disclosed in Utility Model Registration No. 20-0206427, and a desk calendar combined with a memo holder, as disclosed in Utility Model Publication No. 20-1996-0067523, have been disclosed. However, these configurations are structures in which a separate component, such as a writing instrument holder or a drawer-type memo holder, is fixedly installed three-dimensionally on the bottom or side of a desk calendar. Therefore, installing such a complex memo holder device on a desk calendar, which is widely distributed as a relatively inexpensive gift item, is not effective in terms of economic feasibility, and especially, due to its large volume, it is a structure that lacks versatility and practicality due to obstacles in distribution such as storage and transportation.
[0005] Existing desk calendars are usually fixed with spring mechanisms, so most are discarded after one year of use rather than being recycled, resulting in massive waste of resources.
[0006] In addition, desk calendars are being produced and distributed in the market in the form of simple stands or racks made of wood or plastic; however, due to limitations in design expansion regarding the weight, bulk, and stability of the separate stand, they are not suitable for use in corporate advertising or as gifts, and thus are not being widely distributed to the general public. Prior art literature
[0007] (Patent Document 0001) KR 20-0206427 Y1 (2000.09.30.) The problem to be solved
[0008] The present invention aims to provide an invention that possesses practicality and interior decorative value, which prevents the waste of resources associated with desk calendars discarded annually, allows for semi-permanent reuse by simply replacing the calendar pages, and enables the design of infinite forms by combining three-dimensional or two-dimensional shapes of various characters, nature, animals, plants, and artificial objects.
[0009] The goal of this invention is to create a desk calendar that overcomes the design limitations of spring calendars, which have been standardized for about 50 years, and innovates a new trend in desk calendars, growing it into a world-class global product and making it a popular trend.
[0010] The present invention is characterized by providing a highly distinctive configuration means that allows the holding means to be assembled three-dimensionally when the calendar is unfolded directly onto a space such as a desk during use, while improving upon the simple functionality of conventional calendars and not compromising the original folding functionality of the calendar in the slightest.
[0011] The present invention provides various functionalities for the use of a calendar by installing a multi-purpose holding means having a certain width and depth on the lower or both sides of the front part of an existing desk calendar in a foldable and modular manner, thereby enabling the attachment of various memo holders or clocks, or the formation of display or advertising spaces, in addition to the original function of the calendar. means of solving the problem

[0023] Additionally, it may be characterized by including a support member configured to protrude forward from the lower part of the board to support the lower part of the calendar paper.
[0024] In addition, the device may be characterized by having a locking projection or a locking groove formed on the upper surface of the support so that the calendar paper does not slide on the upper surface of the support. Effects of the invention
[0025] Due to the structural features of the present invention described above, the desk calendar of the present invention, in addition to its original function as a calendar, can store office supplies such as memo pads or writing instruments within a holding means additionally installed on the calendar itself. Furthermore, since various advertisements can be effectively displayed by attaching a clock or inserting text into the outer space of the holding means, it has an industrial effect of significantly improving the functionality of desk calendars distributed for advertising or promotional purposes.
[0026] In addition, conventional calendars are fixed to a spring mechanism and are designed to be used only for calendar purposes, with no possibility of adding memo paper or documents; however, this invention features an open-top structure that allows memo paper or document paper to be inserted into the calendar pages, making it convenient for office document work.
[0027] If the calendar is produced in A4 size, it is convenient to insert A4 paper or similar materials into the inner pages and use it as memo paper or a notebook.
[0028] When the calendar stand is set up vertically, it is convenient to use as a document holder for PC document work, and it is convenient to view various documents, flyers, pamphlets, etc. upright.
[0029] By replacing the inner pages of the calendar, it can be reused semi-permanently, preventing resource waste and contributing to environmental protection.
[0030] Since spiral binding is not required, production costs are reduced.
[0031] Compared to conventional calendars, its design offers greater scalability, allowing for excellent aesthetics and decorative qualities, making it suitable for use as fashion interiors or works of art.
[0032] Conventional calendars are fixed on one side by a spring, making it difficult to modify them into various designs. However, the present invention allows for easy production and aesthetically pleasing designs in various shapes, such as circles, ovals, animal and plant shapes, character shapes, and architectural forms, in addition to the standard rectangular shape of calendars.
[0033] The holding means may be selectively attached to the front or rear of the board, or may be used by attaching it to both the front and rear simultaneously.
[0034] It is convenient because you can insert memo pads, card books, etc., into the inner pages of the calendar.
[0035] With conventional desk calendars, one had to bring the entire calendar close to take notes, but the present invention is convenient because one can simply pull out the necessary sheet of paper, take notes, and insert it.
[0036] It can be used to stand work documents, pamphlets, flyers, and photos upright.
[0037] It can be stacked to remain flat during transport, and because it lacks spring binding, it can be made thin, allowing many calendars to be transported in a small space.
[0038] High advertising effectiveness can be expected by forming a large printing area on the holding means to include promotional text.
[0039] Alternatively, lessons such as famous quotes or sayings can be inserted into the holding mechanism to be used as gifts or educational materials.
[0040] The shape of the holding mechanism can be configured in various ways, not only as a horizontal straight line but also by shaping it into three-dimensional forms such as natural objects like mountains or architectural structures like pyramids. Furthermore, since these three-dimensional shapes can be attached and detached using magnetic force or interlocking mechanisms, they can also be configured in the form of assembly toys or pop-up books.
[0041] It is possible to create a storytelling fairy tale book or a three-dimensional sculpture with a new aesthetic by inserting or attaching / detaching a card book or a three-dimensional sculpture into the inner space of the holding means, and it can be used as an educational material for brain development learning play.
[0042] The board and holding mechanism can be assembled in a DIY manner, allowing it to be used as an interior decoration item, play toy, or learning aid.
[0043] By further providing the present invention with a three-dimensional image structure, the creation of a new type of paper art can also be expected.
[0044] The calendar of the present invention can be produced by recycling discarded hardcover books, etc., thereby reducing waste and protecting the environment. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0046] The present invention aims to provide a multi-purpose desktop calendar, which will be described in more detail below with reference to the drawings. The attached drawings are merely examples to easily explain the content and scope of the technical concept of the present invention and are not limited thereto. Similarly, the terms used are intended only to specifically describe the embodiments and should not be interpreted as being limited to those terms.
[0047] The feature of the solution of the present invention is that the product is manufactured with a holding means integrally attached to form a three-dimensional storage space on one or both sides of the base constituting the existing calendar stand, thereby ensuring that the desk calendar maintains a flat, folded state well during distribution, and when the desk calendar is set up in an assembled manner for use, the holding means is assembled three-dimensionally, allowing a holding means having a certain width and depth to be easily assembled on the lower side of the calendar's monthly pages, thereby enabling the display of various memo paper holders or small items, or advertising displays through the empty space on the outside of the holding means, so that the advertising effect can be maximized in the case of a promotional calendar.
[0048] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the overall configuration in which a holding means (H), which is a key component of the present invention, is additionally installed on a standard desk calendar (diary) (1) and the calendar is unfolded into a normal usage state.
[0049] Generally, the configuration of the calendar is such that a board (2) made of thick paper is formed upright so that the lower support (25) can serve as a base, and the support (25) is folded at the bottom, and a calendar paper (4) can be placed on the front of the board (2).
[0050] The material of the board (2) can be varied, including synthetic resin, metal, wood, etc., in addition to ordinary paper.
[0051] The board (2) can be folded or overlapped on one side to stand up or maintain a flat state, and the assembly method for standing up is not limited.
[0052] In addition, the shape of the board (2) can be various shapes, such as square, circular, elliptical, and three-dimensional shapes.
[0053] In the case of a spring-type calendar, a plurality of holes (22) are perforated in the board (2), and then hinge rings (23) are connected in a sequence to the holes (22) so that the calendar paper (4) is turned from front to back once a month and used as a calendar.
[0054] The present invention is characterized by the installation of a holding means (H) as an additional component so that a plurality of calendar sheets (4) can be mounted on a board (2) and replaced and attached / detached at a regular interval (usually one month) without using a through hole (22) and a spring in the general configuration of a calendar.
[0055] As shown in FIG. 1, the invention is characterized by including a board (2) configured to stand upright, a calendar sheet (4) configured to display a date by replacing one or more of them on the front of the board (2) at regular intervals, and a holding means (H) configured to have a storage space (S) that is coupled to the board (2) and into which the calendar sheet (4) is inserted so as not to detach from the board (2).
[0056] The board (2) and the holding means (H) can express various things such as animals, plants, nature, buildings, and characters without limiting their shape.
[0057] The holding means (H) can be divided into a main holder (5) that supports the lower part of the calendar sheet by wrapping around it, and a sub-holder (6) that supports the upper part of the calendar sheet by its own weight.
[0058] There are various embodiments of the main holder (5).
[0059] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 7, the holding means (H) may be characterized by including a main holder (5) that elastically supports the board (2) and the calendar paper (4) in a ring shape that is not open to the side, comprising a front plate (51) configured to support the lower front side of the calendar paper (4), a pair of side plates (52) configured to extend and be bent at both ends of the front plate (51) to cover the sides of the calendar paper (4), and a rear plate (53) extended and be bent at the ends of the side plates (52) to support the rear side of the board (2).
[0060] As described above, it would be preferable to configure the material of the main holder (5), which has a fixed length, to be soft rather than hard to have elasticity, or to have an iron core inserted.
[0061] The board (2) can be configured in various forms as shown in FIG. 3, and a holding means (H) can be applied to the board (2) in various forms to ensure high versatility.
[0062] According to the embodiment, the basic form is assumed to have a support member (3) protruding forward from the lower part of the board (2), but cases where there is no support member (3) according to the embodiment will be explained later.
[0063] In FIGS. 2 to 5, the spacing (W) of the side plate (52) of the main holder (5) may be formed to a size (w1) sufficient to properly support the calendar paper (4), or as in FIGS. 6 to 7, the spacing (W) of the side plate (52) of the main holder (5) may be formed to a size (w2) sufficient to accommodate additional objects (e.g., memo paper, etc.) including the calendar paper (4).
[0064] In another embodiment, the holding means (H) may be characterized by including a main holder (5) comprising a front plate (51) configured to support the lower front portion of the calendar paper (4) as shown in FIG. 8, a pair of side plates (52) configured to extend and bend from both ends of the front plate (51) to cover the sides of the calendar paper (4), a rear plate (53) configured to extend and bend from the ends of the side plates (52) to support the rear portion of the board (2), and a coupling means (54) configured at the divided ends so that one of the front plate (51), side plates (52), and rear plate (53) is divided and the divided ends are detachably connected to each other.
[0065] Therefore, the length of the main holder (5) can be adjusted according to the position where the coupling means (54) are coupled to each other.
[0066] Additionally, it may be characterized by including a plurality of variable folding lines (55) formed on the side plate (52) so that the length of the side plate (52) can be changed.
[0067] The variable folding line (55) indicates a position where the user can fold the side plate (52), and the user can select any variable folding line (55) to fold it.
[0068] Depending on the folding of the side plate (52), the variable folding line (55) may also be located on the front plate (51) or the rear plate (53).
[0069] The above variable folding line (55) can be expressed in the form of a ruler, and the size of the main holder (5) can be adjusted by standardizing the scale indicating the folding part, and it is also possible to insert a steel core material inside the main holder (5) to reinforce the strength.
[0070] A multi-purpose desktop calendar characterized in that the holding means (H) is formed of a metal material so as to be bent, or a metal wire or metal plate is inserted inside the holding means (H).
[0071] In the case of the embodiment described above, the main holder (5) is not directly coupled to the board (2) but is separately wrapped, so the main holder (5) can move in the up and down direction of the board (2), whereas in the embodiment below, the main holder (5) is directly coupled to the board (2), so a more robust coupling force can be provided.
[0072] In another embodiment, the holding means (H) may be characterized by including a main holder (5) comprising a front plate (51) configured to support the lower front portion of the calendar paper (4) as shown in FIG. 9 (a) to FIG. 10, a pair of side plates (52) configured to extend and bend from both ends of the front plate (51) to cover the sides of the calendar paper (4), a pair of divided rear plates (53) extended and bent from each end of the side plates (52) to be coupled to the rear portion of the board (2), and a coupling means (54) formed on the rear plate (53) so that the rear plate (53) is coupled to the rear portion of the board (2).
[0073] The main holder (5) may be characterized by having a front plate (51) divided into a pair as shown in Fig. 9 (b), a rear plate (53) connected integrally, and a connecting means (54) formed on the rear plate (53) so that the rear plate (53) is connected to the rear of the board (2).
[0074] The above coupling means (54) may arbitrarily adopt and use a hook button, Velcro (hook-and-loop adhesive means), double-sided adhesive tape, a magnet (ferrite permanent magnet), etc.
[0075] As an additional embodiment, a watch (T) may be attached to the holding means (H) as shown in FIG. 1.
[0076] The clock (T) can be a digital clock or an analog clock, and can be attached to the holding allowance (H) or configured to be inserted into the holding means (H).
[0077] When a clock (T) is provided in the holding means (H), the added value of the desktop calendar (1) can be increased and the quality can be enhanced, and it is convenient to be able to check the calendar and the clock at the same time.
[0078] In another embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 11 to 17, the lower plate (56) may be further included, which is extended and bent from the lower part of the front plate (51) and coupled to the lower part of the board (2) to support the lower part of the calendar paper (4).
[0079] The main holder (5) is a portion that is horizontally positioned on the lower side of the calendar paper (4) and is visible on the front. Side plates (52) and rear plates (53) are installed on both sides of the main holder (5) so that they are folded along the folding lines. The rear plate (53) is folded into the back side of the board (2) and is fixed inside the board (2) by means of a coupling means (54).
[0080] When used as a desktop calendar (1), the above-mentioned back plate (53) is folded along the folding line and fixed to the rear side of the board (2) in a folded state.
[0081] In addition, a lower plate (56) is partitioned on the lower side of the main holder (5) to maintain a space with a width having the same spacing (W) as the side plate (52), and the attachment means (56a) of the main holder (5) is fixedly attached to the lower side of the board (2) so that an attachment means (56a) is formed in the longitudinal direction on the lower side of the lower plate (56).
[0082] As shown in FIGS. 14 to 16, the adhesive position of the attachment means (56a) is fixed three-dimensionally so that when the calendar (1) is set up with the base plate (3) of the board (2) as a boundary, it does not appear on the front of the main holder (5) but is located on the lower side of the base plate (3).
[0083] As described above, if the attachment means (56a) is attached and fixed to the lower board (2) of the desktop calendar (1), the main holder (5) becomes an integral part of the desktop calendar (1), and during the distribution process, the side plate (52) and the rear plate (53) are folded in the front and rear directions as shown in FIG. 17 to maintain a flat state, thereby simplifying the volume for transportation and storage.
[0084] When using the desk calendar (1) by placing it on a desk or the like, the base (25) below the board (2) is unfolded into a triangular shape and set up on the desk, and then the main holder (5) forms a storage space (S) so that the bottom plate (56) and the two side plates (52) maintain a certain space.
[0085] At this time, the rear plate (53) is fixed to the rear of the board (2) with a suitable coupling means (54) to form a storage space (S) equal to the gap (W) between the side plate (52) and the bottom plate (56).
[0086] In this way, when a storage space (S) is formed by the main holder (5) below the calendar (1), various memo pads, writing instruments, necessary stationery, pictures, or photo plates can be inserted into the storage space (S) and conveniently used for storing small items.
[0087] Therefore, there is no need to use a separate memo holder or a storage box for small items, and especially, various promotional means such as advertising text, pictures, photos, and catchphrases can be displayed on the front of the main holder (5), so the advertising function of the calendar, which is mainly provided as a promotional means for companies, exhibition planning companies, restaurants, financial service businesses, etc., can be greatly highlighted and improved, and thus there is an advantage of greatly improving the functionality that conventional calendars did not have.
[0088] Meanwhile, if the main holder (5) uses a stiff panel with a certain thickness, it can be made into a three-dimensional shape such as Fig. 1 or Fig. 13 in addition to a straight shape to further enhance advertising effect and decorative value, and additional decorative items such as an electronic clock, a thermometer / hygrometer, or various character models can be attached to one side of the main holder (5).
[0089] Basically, the calendar sheet (4) is inserted into the storage space (S) in a card-like manner and replaced once a month, but on the other hand, as shown in FIG. 12 to 13, it can also be applied to a desk calendar (1) with a hinge ring (23) type.
[0090] In another embodiment, the holding means (H) may be characterized by including a main holder (5) composed of a front plate (51) configured to support the lower front portion of the calendar paper (4) as shown in (c) of FIG. 3 and FIG. 18, a pair of side plates (52) configured to extend and fold from both ends of the front plate (51) to cover the sides of the calendar paper (4), and a divided pair of rear plates (53) extended and folded from each end of the side plates (52) to be coupled to the rear portion of the board (2), and further including a reinforcing plate (21) coupled to the rear portion of the board (2), and further including an insertion groove (21a) configured between the board (2) and the reinforcing plate (21) so that the end of the rear plate (53) is inserted and coupled.
[0091] Therefore, since it is a detachable method without attachment, the main holder can be easily replaced, allowing for easy replacement if an expired advertisement is written on the main holder.
[0092] In another embodiment, the holding means (H) may be characterized by comprising a front plate (51) configured to support the lower front portion of the calendar paper (4) as shown in FIG. 19, a side plate (52) configured to extend and bend from one end of the front plate (51) to cover the side portion of the calendar paper (4), a rear plate (53) extended and bent from the end of the side plate (52) to support the rear portion of the board (2), and a coupling means (54) formed on the rear plate (53) so that the rear plate (53) is coupled to the rear portion of the board (2), and a main holder (5) that is fitted and coupled from the side that is open to support the board (2) and the calendar paper (4).
[0093] Since the support force may be weak due to joining from the side, the main holder (5) can be configured in multiple numbers as in the embodiment of the drawing.
[0094] In another embodiment, the holding means (H) may be characterized by including a frame-type main holder (5) comprising a front plate (51) configured to support the front of the calendar paper (4) as illustrated in FIGS. 20a and 20b, a window portion (51a) configured on the front plate (51) so that the date display of the calendar paper (4) is visible through the front plate (51), a side plate (52) configured to extend and be folded from both ends of the front plate (51) to cover the side of the calendar paper (4), a rear plate (53) configured to extend and be folded from each end of the side plate (52) to be coupled to the rear of the board (2), and a coupling means (54) formed on the rear plate (53) so that the rear plate (53) is coupled to the rear of the board (2).
[0095] When configured as above, the calendar can be decorated with a border that resembles a picture frame, and can also be used as a picture frame by inserting a photo instead of the calendar page (4).
[0096] As shown in FIG. 20c, the front panel (51) may be configured with a connecting means (54), such as a metal plate, so as to support the front of the calendar paper (4) as a picture frame type holding means (H), and a connecting means (54), such as a magnet, may be provided at a corresponding position on the board (2) so as to be detachable by magnetic force.
[0097] In another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 21, an insertion hole (24) is additionally formed in the lower part of the board (2), and the holding means (H) may be characterized by including a main holder (5) composed of a front plate (51) configured to support the lower front part of the calendar paper (4) and an insertion piece (57) configured to protrude from the lower part of the front plate (51) and be fitted into the insertion hole (24).
[0098] In addition to the above configuration, a detachment prevention projection (57a) may be further provided to be configured to protrude from both ends of the insertion piece (57) to prevent the insertion piece (57) from detaching, thereby preventing the combined insertion piece (57) from detaching from the insertion hole (24).
[0099] In this embodiment, the side plate (52) and the rear plate (53) are not shown in the drawing, but it is obvious that the side plate (52) and the rear plate (53) can be added.
[0100] In another embodiment, the holding means (H) may be characterized by including a sub-holder (6) that supports the board (2) and the calendar paper (4) by its own weight, comprising a front support piece (61) configured to support the upper front portion of the calendar paper (4) as shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 22, and a rear support piece (62) that extends and bends in a mountain shape from the top of the front support piece (61) to support the rear portion of the board (2).
[0101] In this case, the calendar paper is thin, so it can be prevented from folding forward or rolling up.
[0102] Although not shown in the drawing, if the sub-holder (6) and the frame-type holding means (H) shown in FIG. 20b are combined, the sub-holder (6) may be configured with a front support piece (61) and a rear support piece (62) combined on the upper part of a front plate (51) having a window part (51a).
[0103] Additionally, it may be characterized by further including a support member (3) configured to protrude forward from the lower part of the board (2) and support the lower part of the lunar calendar (4).
[0104] In addition, as shown in FIGS. 23 to 24, the upper surface of the support member (3) may be characterized by having a locking projection (31) or a locking groove (32) formed thereon so that the lunar calendar paper (4) does not slide on the upper surface of the support member (3).
[0105] The above-mentioned locking projection (31) or locking groove (32) can be configured to be detachable from the support member (3) using a magnet or a fitting method.
[0106] In the above modified embodiment, as shown in (d) of FIG. 3, an upright portion (33) can be further formed at the front end of the support portion (3) so that the support portion (3) of the board is formed with a downward slope toward the inside, and when formed in this way, the moon paper (4) can be guided to adhere to the board (2).
[0107] As an additional detail, one embodiment of the method of standing the board (2) is illustrated in FIG. 25. The board (2) can be made upright by folding the unfolded diagram (b) along the folding line and attaching the assembly attachment part formed on one side of the front plate (21) to the board (2).
[0108] The present invention is a very useful invention that significantly improves the advertising function and convenience of use of a calendar by integrally installing a main holder (5) on a conventional simple desk calendar (diary) (1), thereby allowing it to be used for both calendar functions and as a pocket for storing small items such as memo paper or writing instruments.
[0109] As described above, the detailed description of the present invention has explained the most preferred embodiment of the present invention, but various modifications are possible within the scope of the technical scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the scope of protection of the present invention should not be limited to the above embodiment, but should be recognized to include the technologies of the claims described below and equivalent technical means derived from these technologies.
