[0101] The OIS support member (600) may include first to fourth support units (510, 620, 630, 640) spaced apart from each other. The first to fourth support units (510, 620, 630, 640) may be spaced apart from each other. The first and second support units (610, 620) may be electrically connected to the AF coil (220) through the upper support member (510). The third and fourth support units (630, 640) may be electrically connected to the sensing coil (710). The first to fourth support units (510, 620, 630, 640) may be located at each of the four corner portions formed between the four sides of the housing (310). [0104] The AF sensor unit may include a sensing coil (710), a high-frequency current application unit (not shown), and a voltage detection unit (not shown). The sensing coil (710) may be omitted if it is not an autofocus feedback type lens driving device configured for autofocus feedback. That is, the sensing coil (710) may be omitted in this embodiment. Meanwhile, the sensing coil (710) may be replaced with a Hall sensor unit in a modified example. The Hall sensor unit may include a Hall sensor and a sensing magnet. In a modified example, if a Hall sensor is located on either the housing (310) or the bobbin (210) and a sensing magnet is located on the other, the strength of the magnetic force detected by the Hall sensor changes according to the movement of the bobbin (210), so the position and / or movement of the bobbin (210) can be detected.

[0105] As a variation, in an embodiment where the AF sensor unit is not provided, current only needs to be applied to the AF coil (220), so only two wires, which are configured according to an example of the OIS support member (600) through the AF support member (500), can be connected to the substrate (420) or receive a signal. In the aforementioned variation, the two wires can be connected to the substrate (420) through the terminal unit (800) and connected to the outside through the terminal part (422) formed on the substrate (420). However, in another variation, the two wires can be directly connected to an external component of the lens driving device through the terminal unit (800). That is, the voltage induced in the sensing coil (710) can be varied depending on the distance between the sensing coil (710) and the AF coil (220). In this embodiment, the movement and / or position of the bobbin (210) can be detected simply by measuring the voltage induced in the sensing coil (710) using this feature. The movement and / or position of the bobbin (210) detected in this way can be used for an autofocus feedback function.

[0107] The sensing coil (710) can be energized with the substrate (420) by the third support unit (630) and the fourth support unit (640). Through this structure, the induced voltage induced in the sensing coil (710) by the high-frequency current supplied to the AF coil (220) can be measured.

[0108] The high-frequency current application unit can apply a high-frequency current to the AF coil (220). That is, the high-frequency current application unit can apply a high-frequency current, such as an impulse current, to the AF coil (220). At this time, the high-frequency current applied to the AF coil (220) can induce a voltage in the sensing coil (710) without affecting the movement of the bobbin (210). That is, by applying a high-frequency current to the AF coil (220), the high-frequency current application unit can generate an induced voltage in the sensing coil (710) without affecting the autofocus drive of the bobbin (210). The high-frequency current application unit can supply a high-frequency current to the AF coil (220) according to a predetermined time interval.

[0109] The voltage sensing unit can detect the voltage induced in the sensing coil (710). That is, the voltage sensing unit detects the voltage induced in the sensing coil (710), and the detected value is transmitted to the control unit, so that the control unit can determine the position of the bobbin (210).

The OIS sensor (720) may be coupled to the lower surface of the substrate (420). The OIS sensor (720) may include a first axis sensor and a second axis sensor positioned to detect both x-axis and y-axis movements of the housing (310).

[0111] The terminal unit (800) can be coupled with the substrate (420). The terminal unit (800) can be coupled with the OIS support member (600). [0122] The operation of the camera module according to the present embodiment is described below.

[0123] First, the autofocus function of the camera module according to the present embodiment will be explained. When power is supplied to the AF coil (220), the AF coil (220) moves relative to the driving magnet (320) due to the electromagnetic interaction between the AF coil (220) and the driving magnet (320). At this time, the bobbin (210) to which the AF coil (220) is coupled moves together with the AF coil (220). That is, the bobbin (210) to which the lens module is coupled on the inside moves up and down relative to the housing (310). This movement of the bobbin (210) results in the lens module moving closer to or further away from the image sensor, thereby performing focus adjustment on the subject.

[0124] Meanwhile, to achieve a more precise realization of the autofocus function of the camera module according to the present embodiment, autofocus feedback may be applied. A voltage is induced in the sensing coil (710) mounted on the housing (310) by the high-frequency current applied to the AF coil (220). Meanwhile, when a driving current is applied to the AF coil (220) and the bobbin (210) performs relative movement with respect to the housing (310), the value of the voltage induced in the sensing coil (710) may change. At this time, the supply of the high-frequency current to the AF coil (220) may be based on a preset time interval. Meanwhile, the voltage detection unit detects the voltage value induced in the sensing coil (710) and transmits it to the control unit. The control unit determines whether to perform additional movement of the bobbin (210) based on the received voltage value. Since this process occurs in real time, the autofocus function of the camera module according to the present embodiment can be performed more precisely through autofocus feedback.

[0125] The image stabilization function of the camera module according to the present embodiment is described. When power is supplied to the OIS coil (430), the driving magnet (320) moves relative to the OIS coil (430) due to the electromagnetic interaction between the OIS coil (430) and the driving magnet (320). At this time, the housing (310) to which the driving magnet (320) is attached moves integrally with the driving magnet (320). That is, the housing (310) moves in a horizontal direction relative to the base (410). Meanwhile, the housing (310) may be induced to tilt relative to the base (410) at this time. Such movement of the housing (310) results in the lens module moving in a direction parallel to the direction in which the image sensor is placed (a direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens module) relative to the image sensor, thereby performing the image stabilization function.

[0126] Meanwhile, to more precisely realize the image stabilization function of the camera module according to the present embodiment, image stabilization feedback may be applied. An OIS sensor (720) mounted on the base (410) detects the magnetic field of a driving magnet (320) fixed to the housing (310). Meanwhile, when the housing (310) moves relative to the base (410), the amount of the magnetic field detected by the OIS sensor (720) changes. Meanwhile, a pair of OIS sensors (720) detect the amount of movement or position of the housing (310) in the horizontal direction (x-axis and y-axis direction) in the aforementioned manner and transmit the detected value to the control unit. The control unit determines whether to perform additional movement of the housing (310) based on the received detected value. Since this process occurs in real time, the image stabilization function of the camera module according to the present embodiment can be performed more precisely through image stabilization feedback.

[0128] Hereinafter, the effects of the lens driving device according to the present embodiment will be explained with reference to FIGS. 10 and FIGS. 11.

[0129] FIG. 10 is a conceptual diagram illustrating the effect of a lens driving device according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 11 is a conceptual diagram illustrating a comparative example for comparison with the present embodiment.

[0130] Referring to FIG. 10, in a lens driving device according to the present embodiment, the OIS support member (600) is coupled to the upper support member (510) and the second coupling part (820) of the terminal unit (800). More specifically, the upper end of the OIS support member (600) is coupled to the upper support member (510), and the lower end of the OIS support member (600) is coupled to the second coupling part (820) of the terminal unit (800). At this time, the second coupling part (820) is positioned lower than the substrate (420). Meanwhile, in the structure of the aforementioned embodiment, the operating range of the OIS support member (600) is defined as the distance between the upper support member (510) and the second coupling part (820) of the terminal unit (800). In this embodiment, when the upper part of the OIS support member (600) (the combined part of the OIS support member (600) and the upper support member (510)) moves by a distance (d), a deflection of a first angle (θ1) occurs in the OIS support member (600).

[0131] Referring to FIG. 11, in a lens driving device according to a comparative example, the OIS support member (600) is coupled to an upper support member (510) and a substrate (420). More specifically, the upper end of the OIS support member (600) is coupled to the upper support member (510), and the lower end of the OIS support member (600) is coupled to the upper surface of the substrate (420). At this time, the height of the substrate (420) of the comparative example (height from the bottom surface of the base (410)) corresponds to the height of the substrate (420) of the present embodiment. That is, the height of the substrate (420) of the comparative example is higher than the height of the second coupling part (820) of the terminal unit (800) of the present embodiment. Meanwhile, in the structure of the aforementioned comparative example, the operating range of the OIS support member (600) is defined as the distance between the upper support member (510) and the substrate (420). In the comparative example, when the upper part of the OIS support member (600) moves by a range of distance (d), bending of the second angle (θ2) occurs in the OIS support member (600).

[0132] At this time, the second angle (θ2) is greater than the first angle (θ1). That is, the OIS support member (600) according to the comparative example receives greater stress when driving the same flow distance (d) than the OIS support member (600) according to the present embodiment. In other words, the OIS support member (600) according to the present embodiment receives less stress when driving the same flow distance (d) than the OIS support member (600) according to the comparative example.

[0133] In the OIS structure of the comparative example, one end of the OIS support member (600) is fixed to the upper support member (510) by soldering, and the other end is fixed to the substrate (420) by soldering. Accordingly, the movable length of the OIS support member (600) is determined by the distance between the upper support member (510) and the substrate (420). As the structure of the smartphone becomes thinner, the distance between the upper support member (510) and the substrate (420) becomes shorter, and the movable length of the OIS support member (600) also becomes shorter. At this time, the stress increases in the OIS support member (600) due to the increased bending that occurs for the same repeated movement distance (d). When the stress acting on the OIS support member (600) increases in this way, more power is required to drive it, and the time required to drive it also increases, which becomes a problem. In addition, if the stress acting on the OIS support member (600) remains in an increased state for a long time, the OIS support member (600) may be damaged, which is a problem.

[0134] The present embodiment proposes an assembly structure that minimizes the shortening of the length of the OIS support member (600) even as the structure of the smartphone becomes thinner. In the present embodiment, one end of the OIS support member (600) is fixed to the upper support member (510) by soldering, and the other end is soldered to the terminal unit (800). At this time, the terminal unit (800) is fixed to the base (410), and since the soldering position of the terminal unit (800) and the OIS support member (600) is formed below the substrate (420), the length of the movable part of the OIS support member (600) can be increased compared to a structure in which the OIS support member (600) is soldered to the substrate (420).
