Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a reflection-driven actuator and a folded camera module including the same, and more specifically, to a reflection-driven actuator with increased resolution and optical characteristics and a folded camera module including the same. Background Technology
[0003] As hardware technology for image processing advances, user demand for video recording and other applications is steadily increasing.
[0004] Accordingly, functions such as zoom, AF (Auto Focus), and OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) are implemented in independent camera devices as well as in camera modules (hereinafter referred to as "camera modules") mounted on mobile terminals such as mobile phones and smartphones.
[0005] Meanwhile, the camera module is equipped with a structure that moves the lens module directly or indirectly moves a reflector driving actuator equipped with a reflector to implement the function.
[0006] Typically, such camera modules can move a lens module or a reflector driving actuator (folded module) in a direction intersecting the optical axis (the axis of light incident on the reflector, or the axis of light refracted or reflected and entering the lens) using electromagnetic force from a magnet and a coil as the driving force.
[0007] For example, Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2018-0096073 discloses a reflector driving device for OIS with a multi-axis structure.
[0008] The prior art shows a structure that uses a first ball and a second ball to move a support frame in a first direction relative to a middle frame, and moves a middle frame in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction relative to a base frame.
[0009] However, such conventional technology has a structure in which the center of the optical axis and the center of rotation of the first direction movement of the support frame (the first frame in the present invention) equipped with a reflector are spaced apart from each other and formed at separate positions.
[0010] Specifically, it has a structure in which the optical axis incident on the reflector and the rotation axis of the support frame equipped with the reflector do not coincide.
[0011] In particular, the structure is such that the center of rotation (rotation axis) of the ball rotating on the support frame is separated from the drive shaft generated by the magnet and coil for X-axis (first direction) driving. Since the center of rotation of the electromagnetic field possessing the actual driving force is separated from the center of rotation of the ball, the linearity of the X-axis is not well achieved, resulting in a problem where the performance of the X-axis is degraded.
[0012] Accordingly, when light incident from the subject is reflected by the reflector and formed on the image sensor, the change in the correction range due to the spacing was inevitably large in order to implement the OIS function.
[0013] The implementation of the OIS function must be completed within a short time; however, as changes in the correction range increase, error values inevitably grow, which in turn degrades the device's operating characteristics.
[0014] Furthermore, even if specific sensing was compensated for from a control perspective to compensate for shaking, errors were inevitable.
[0015] Meanwhile, the mutually orthogonal driving of the middle frame and the support frame inevitably influences each other, and as the control algorithm to compensate for this becomes complex, problems arise such as reduced driving responsiveness or degraded optical characteristics formed on the image sensor side.
[0016] This soon becomes a problem that leads to a degradation of the camera module's resolution and optical characteristics, in other words, a decline in camera performance. Prior art literature
[0018] Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2018-0096073 (Published Aug. 29, 2018) The problem to be solved
[0019] The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems, and the objective of the present invention is to provide a reflective driving actuator that increases resolution and optical characteristics by changing the position of the rotation center of a first frame, and a folded camera module including the same.
[0020] The problems of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned problems will be clearly understood by a person skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains from the description below. means of solving the problem
[0022] According to one aspect of the present invention, a reflection drive actuator and a folded camera module including the same are provided.
[0023] A reflector driving actuator comprises: a housing; a reflector mounted on the housing that reflects light incident on a first optical axis to a second optical axis; a first frame that supports the reflector; a plurality of first ball members interposed between the first frame and the housing to support the first frame to rotate on a first plane intersecting the first optical axis; and a first driving unit disposed between the housing and the first frame to form a first driving axis intersecting the first optical axis.
[0024] At this time, the first ball member is positioned such that at least one central ball overlaps or contacts at least a portion of the first optical axis, thereby supporting the first frame so that it can rotate in a first direction around the first optical axis. Additionally, the first drive shaft is formed such that at least a portion overlaps or contacts the first optical axis in a direction perpendicular to the first optical axis.
[0025] Meanwhile, the first ball member is positioned on the first plane, and at least one center ball is positioned so as to overlap or come into contact with at least a portion of the first optical axis.
[0026] Meanwhile, the reflection system driving actuator further includes a second frame interposed between the housing and the first frame.
[0027] And, it further includes a second ball member positioned between the housing and the second frame, which supports the second frame so as to be rotatable in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
[0028] Meanwhile, the rotational center axis of the second frame is formed to coincide with or at least partially overlap the second optical axis.
[0029] Preferably, for example, the first ball member comprises a plurality of balls spaced apart from each other around the center ball to form a fan shape, and includes at least one first-1 ball positioned in the positive direction of the X-axis around the center ball and at least one first-2 ball positioned in the negative direction of the X-axis around the center ball.
[0030] And, as an example, the second frame comprises a vertical frame having a plurality of second ball members arranged in the Y-axis direction and ball-contacting with the third frame; and a horizontal frame having a lower end of the vertical frame extended in the Z-axis direction and having the first ball members arranged on its upper surface and ball-contacting with the lower surface of the first frame.
[0031] At this time, the second frame further forms a centering magnet at the center of the upper surface of the horizontal frame.
[0032] And, the first frame further forms a suction yoke on its bottom surface at a position facing the centering magnet.
[0033] Meanwhile, preferably, the centering magnet is positioned at the center of the fan shape formed by the first-1 ball, the first-2 ball, and the center ball.
[0034] Meanwhile, as an example, the central ball of the first ball member may have a spherical shape capable of free movement, which is seated in a driving space formed by a lower shaft groove formed on the upper surface of the horizontal frame and an upper shaft groove formed on the lower surface of the first frame facing each other.
[0035] In addition, as another example, the central ball of the first ball member may have a hemispherical shape corresponding to the lower shaft groove, with one side protruding downward from the bottom surface of the first frame.
[0036] In addition, as another example, the central ball of the first ball member may have a hemispherical shape with one side protruding upward from the upper surface of the horizontal frame and corresponding to the upper axial groove formed on the lower surface of the first frame.
[0037] Meanwhile, the second frame forms a first lower guide rail on which the first-1 ball is seated and a second lower guide rail on which the first-2 ball is seated on the upper surface of the horizontal frame.
[0038] At this time, the first frame forms a first upper guide rail formed facing the first lower guide rail and a second upper guide rail formed facing the second lower guide rail on its bottom surface.
[0039] Preferably, the first-1 ball or the first-2 ball may have both lower sides in point contact with the inner circumference of the first lower guide rail or the second lower guide rail, and only one upper side in point contact with the inner circumference of the first upper guide rail or the second upper guide rail.
[0040] According to another aspect of the present invention, a folded camera module comprising the reflection system driving actuator described above is disclosed.
[0041] A folded camera module may include: a housing; a reflector mounted on the housing and reflecting light incident on a first optical axis to a second optical axis; a first frame supporting the reflector; a plurality of first ball members supporting the first frame to rotate in a first direction perpendicular to the second optical axis on a first plane intersecting the first optical axis; a first driving unit disposed between the housing and the first frame and forming a first driving axis in a direction perpendicular to the first optical axis; at least one lens module for forming an image of light incident from the reflector; and an image sensor for converting light incident from the lens module.
[0042] At this time, the first drive shaft is aligned so that at least a portion overlaps or a portion comes into contact with the first optical axis in a direction perpendicular to the first optical axis. Effects of the invention
[0044] According to the above configuration, the reflector driving actuator according to the present invention and the folded camera module including the same have a structure in which at least a portion of the rotation center (rotation axis) of a rotating center ball of a first frame equipped with a reflector is arranged to overlap or come into contact with the first optical axis incident on the reflector, and at least a portion of the first driving axis of a magnet and a coil generating driving force is arranged to overlap or come into contact with the first optical axis in a direction perpendicular to the first optical axis, thereby having the effect of maximizing the resolution and optical characteristics of the camera module.
[0045] In addition, by arranging the first optical axis and the rotation center of the rotating center ball of the first frame so that at least a portion overlaps or comes into contact, the change in the correction range for implementing the OIS function is reduced when light incident from the subject (first light) is reflected by the reflector and formed towards the image sensor, thereby having the effect of improving the driving characteristics of the camera module and camera performance.
[0046] In addition, by arranging the first optical axis and the rotation center of the rotating center ball of the first frame so that at least a portion overlaps or comes into contact, the process of aligning the optical axis centers of the reflector driving actuator, lens module, and image sensor is not only easy, but also has the effect of reducing the loss rate of the Field of View (FOV) and enhancing the OIS function of the reflector.
[0047] In addition, the first frame can maintain its center relative to the second frame by means of a centering magnet provided on the upper surface of the second frame and a suction yoke provided on the lower surface of the first frame, and has the effect of maintaining suction force so that the first ball members are in close contact with the second frame and the first frame.
[0048] In addition, the first ball member has the effect of not only reducing frictional force by reducing ball contact points during driving, but also minimizing assembly errors by reducing cumulative dimensions between guide rails.
[0049] The effects of the present invention are not limited to the effects described above, and should be understood to include all effects that can be inferred from the configuration of the invention described in the detailed description or claims of the present invention. Specific details for implementing the invention
[0052] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention are described in detail with reference to the attached drawings so that those skilled in the art can easily implement the invention. The present invention may be embodied in various different forms and is not limited to the embodiments described herein. To clearly explain the present invention, parts unrelated to the description in the drawings have been omitted, and the same reference numerals have been used throughout the specification for identical or similar components.
[0053] The words and terms used in this specification and claims are not limited to their ordinary or dictionary meanings, but should be interpreted in a meaning and concept consistent with the technical spirit of the invention in accordance with the principles by which the inventor defines terms and concepts to best describe his invention.
[0054] Therefore, the embodiments described in this specification and the configurations illustrated in the drawings correspond to preferred embodiments of the present invention and do not represent all technical concepts of the present invention; thus, various equivalents and modifications that may replace such configurations may exist at the time of filing the present invention.
[0055] In this specification, terms such as “comprising” or “having” are intended to describe the existence of the features, numbers, steps, actions, components, parts, or combinations thereof described in the specification, and should not be understood as precluding the existence or addition of one or more other features, numbers, steps, actions, components, parts, or combinations thereof.
[0056] The statement that a component is "in front," "rear," "upper," or "lower" of another component includes, unless there are special circumstances, not only being positioned "in front," "rear," "upper," or "lower" in direct contact with the other component, but also cases where another component is positioned in between. Furthermore, the statement that a component is "connected" to another component includes, unless there are special circumstances, not only being directly connected to each other, but also being indirectly connected to each other.
[0057] In the following description, the X-axis direction, Y-axis direction, and Z-axis direction refer to the direction parallel to the X-axis, the direction parallel to the Y-axis, and the direction parallel to the Z-axis, respectively, as depicted in the drawings. Furthermore, unless otherwise noted, the term "X-axis direction" encompasses both the positive and negative directions of the X-axis, and this applies equally to the Y-axis direction and the Z-axis direction.
[0058] Meanwhile, although the explanation refers to the X-axis direction as the first direction, the Y-axis direction as the second direction, and the Z-axis direction as the third direction, this is merely an example based on a relative perspective; the first through third directions and the coordinate axes (X, Y, Z axes) are introduced only to explain the relative positions between the components and do not limit the absolute positions of each component.
[0059] Furthermore, in describing the present invention, specific descriptions of related known functions or configurations are omitted to avoid obscuring the gist of the invention.
[0061] Hereinafter, a reflection system driving actuator according to one embodiment of the present invention and a folded camera module including the same will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0062] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 8, as illustrated, a reflector driving actuator according to one embodiment of the present invention and a folded camera module (1) including the same comprises a reflector driving actuator (100) having a reflector (110) that reflects light incident on a first optical axis (L) to a second optical axis (Z) inside a housing (10) having a case (20), and a lens module (200).
[0063] And, an image sensor (300), such as a CMOS or CCD, is provided in the rear portion of the second optical axis direction (Z) of the lens module (200) (see FIG. 2).
[0064] At this time, the lens module (200) may be a zoom lens that includes not only a single lens but also multiple lenses, a lens group, or optical components such as a prism, a mirror, etc.
[0065] And, the housing (10) is equipped with a circuit board (30) including a coil and a magnet inside to generate driving force.
[0066] Additionally, the case (20) covers the open upper part (Y-axis direction) of the housing (10) and forms an opening (21) on one side so that light (light) from the subject can be incident along the first optical axis (L) path.
[0067] Accordingly, in a folded camera module (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention, light from a subject is introduced in the direction of the first optical axis (L) (negative direction of the Y-axis) through an opening (21) formed in a case (20), and the light incident in the direction of the first optical axis (L) has its path changed (refracted, reflected, etc.) by the reflector (110) of the reflector driving actuator (100) in the direction of the second optical axis (Z) (positive direction of the Z-axis) perpendicular to the direction of the first optical axis (L) and is introduced into the lens module (200) (see FIG. 1 and FIG. 2).
[0068] And, light (light) reflected or refracted in the direction of the second optical axis (Z), that is, in the direction of the Z axis, passes through the lens module (200) and enters the image sensor (300) to form an image.
[0069] Meanwhile, the lens module (200) and the reflector driving actuator (100) each move or rotate in the X-axis direction, Y-axis direction, or Z-axis direction to implement respective functions such as zoom, AF (Auto Focus), and OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) using the electromagnetic force generated by the electromagnetic field of the magnet and coil provided in the housing (10) as the driving force.
[0070] The magnet and coil for providing driving force are composed of multiple units and are positioned at set locations. Since the electromagnetic structure for providing such driving force has a known structure and function, a detailed description is omitted to avoid obscuring the gist of the present invention.
[0072] However, as described above, the reflector driving actuator and the folded camera module (1) including the same according to one embodiment of the present invention are configured such that, in configuring the reflector driving actuator (100) that rotates, the center of rotation (rotation axis, C / C) that rotates in the X-axis direction of the first frame (120) equipped with the reflector (110) is aligned with the optical axis line (L / C) of the first optical axis (L) incident on the reflector (110) (see FIG. 4).
[0073] In this way, by aligning the rotation center (C / C) of the first frame (120) with the optical axis line (L / C) of the first optical axis (L), the change in the correction range for implementing the OIS function is reduced, thereby maximizing the resolution and optical characteristics of the entire camera module (1).
[0074] Meanwhile, due to manufacturing and assembly errors of the reflector drive actuator, the optical axis line (L / C) of the first optical axis (L) and the center of rotation (rotation axis, C / C) may not completely coincide. However, at least a portion is arranged to overlap or be placed in close proximity, thereby maximizing the resolution and optical characteristics of the camera module (1).
[0075] The description in the above description that 'at least a portion is placed overlapping' means that a center ball (163, 163') having a set diameter or range is placed to come into contact with or partially overlap the first optical axis (L) while forming a rotational center axis to be described later within a range where the resolution and optical characteristics of the camera module (1) are not changed.
[0076] And, the description in the above description that it is ‘placed in close proximity’ means that a center ball (163, 163’) having a set diameter or range may be placed with a gap from the first optical axis (L) while forming a rotational center axis to be described later, within a range where the resolution and optical characteristics of the camera module (1) are not changed, and such gap may be, for example, the gap of the diameter or radius of the center ball (163).
[0077] More specifically, the reflector driving actuator (100) of the present invention is provided with a plurality of first ball members (160) in the first frame (120) and the housing (10) to rotate the first frame (120) on a first plane (XZ plane) that intersects the first optical axis (L).
[0078] And, a first driving unit (C1, M1) is formed between the first frame (120) and the housing (10) to form a first driving axis (O, FIG. 5) that intersects the first optical axis (L).
[0079] At this time, the first ball member (160) is positioned such that at least one center ball (163, 163') overlaps or comes into contact with at least a portion of the first optical axis (L), thereby supporting the first frame (120) so that it can rotate in a first direction around the first optical axis (L).
[0080] At this time, the first drive shaft (O) is formed such that at least a portion of it overlaps with or comes into contact with the first optical axis (L) in a direction perpendicular to the first optical axis (L).
[0082] Meanwhile, in configuring the reflector driving actuator and the folded camera module (1) including the same according to one embodiment of the present invention, the rotating center of rotation (rotation axis, C / C) of the first frame (120) can be placed on the first driving axis (O) of the first magnet (M1) and the first coil (C1) that provides driving force for rotation of the first frame (120) in the first direction (X-axis direction) (see FIG. 5).
[0083] In other words, by arranging the first drive axis (O) of the first frame (120) so that it coincides with the first drive axis (O) of the electromagnetic field formed by the first magnet (M1) and the first coil (C1) constituting the first drive unit, the linearity of the rotational movement in the X-axis direction of the first frame (120) is increased, thereby increasing the X-axis direction correction rate when implementing the OIS function and maximizing the resolution and optical characteristics of the entire camera module (1).
[0084] Meanwhile, due to manufacturing and assembly errors of the reflector drive actuator, the first drive axis (O) of the electromagnetic field and the center of rotation (rotation axis, C / C) may not completely coincide. However, at least a portion is arranged to overlap or be placed in close proximity, thereby maximizing the resolution and optical characteristics of the camera module (1).
[0085] And, preferably, a reflector driving actuator according to one embodiment of the present invention and a folded camera module (1) including the same can be positioned so that a rotation center (rotation axis, C / C) rotating in the X-axis direction of a first frame (120) equipped with a reflector (110) on the optical axis line (Z / C) of the second optical axis (Z) coincides or at least partially overlaps (see FIG. 5).
[0086] Through this, during the assembly process of the camera module (1), the process of aligning the center of the optical axis (Z-axis) of the reflector driving actuator (100), the lens module (200), and the image sensor (300) is not only easy, but the loss rate of the FOV (Field of View) can also be reduced and the OIS function of the reflector (110) can be improved.
[0087] In this way, it is preferable that the rotation center (C / C) of the first frame (120) be placed on the optical axis line (L / C) of the first optical axis (L) so as to coincide (or partially overlap), the rotation center (C / C) of the first frame (120) be placed on the first drive axis (O) of the electromagnetic field formed by the first magnet (M1) and the first coil (C1) so as to coincide (or partially overlap), and the rotation center (rotation axis, C / C) of the first frame (120) be placed on the optical axis (Z / C) of the second optical axis (Z) so as to coincide (or partially overlap), but is not limited thereto, and even if the center is partially misaligned (closely placed) due to manufacturing tolerances, etc., it is considered to fall within the scope of the rights of the present invention.
[0088] Meanwhile, the reflector driving actuator (100) applied in one embodiment of the present invention may be implemented as a component of the camera module (1) including the lens module (200) as in one embodiment of the present invention, but it is also obvious that it may be implemented as a single device itself.
[0089] In describing one embodiment of the present invention, the reflector driving actuator (100) is illustrated and described as a component of the folded camera module (1).
[0091] Referring again to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, a reflector driving actuator (100) applied to a folded camera module (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided inside a housing (10) constituting the folded camera module (1) and mainly includes a reflector (110), a first frame (120), a second frame (130), and a third frame (140).
[0092] Through this configuration, the reflector driving actuator (100) implements an OIS function for the first direction and the second direction by rotating the reflector (110) in a direction that compensates for movement caused by hand shaking, etc., when shaking occurs in the first direction (X-axis direction) and the second direction (Y-axis direction) perpendicular to the second optical axis (Z-axis) direction.
[0093] More specifically, referring to FIG. 3, the reflector (110) constituting the reflector driving actuator (100) applied in one embodiment of the present invention is mounted inside the housing (10) and reflects light incident on the first optical axis (L) to the second optical axis (Z) perpendicular to the first optical axis (L).
[0094] This reflection system (110) may be one selected from a mirror or a prism or a combination thereof, and it goes without saying that various components may be applied as long as they can change the direction of the optical axis (Z-axis) of the light (L, FIG. 1) introduced from the outside.
[0095] Meanwhile, the first frame (120) is provided so that the reflector (110) described above is seated on the mounting surface (122) and physically supports the reflector (110).
[0096] At this time, between the first frame (120) and the housing (10), there are a plurality of first ball members (160) that support the first frame (120) to rotate on a first plane (XZ plane) that intersects the first optical axis (L).
[0097] In a specific embodiment, the first frame (120) is supported by the first ball members (160: 161, 162, 163) around the second frame (130) described later, and rotates in the first plane (XZ plane) in the first direction (X-axis direction) perpendicular to the second direction (Y-axis direction, first optical axis direction).
[0098] At this time, the first ball member (160) is positioned so that at least one center ball (163) overlaps or comes into contact with at least a portion of the first optical axis (L), thereby supporting the first frame (120) so that it can rotate in a first direction around the first optical axis (L).
[0099] In this way, as the first frame (120) rotates in the first direction (X-axis direction) with the center ball (163) of the first ball member (160) as the rotational center axis, the reflector (110) provided on the seating surface (122) of the first frame (120) also moves physically together.
[0100] Meanwhile, the housing (10) is provided with a first coil (C1) on both sides in the X-axis direction of the first frame (120), and the first frame (120) is provided with a first magnet (M1) in a position facing the first coil (C1) of the housing (10).
[0101] These first magnet (M1) and first coil (C1) constitute a first driving unit and are arranged with the first direction (X-axis direction) of the housing (10) as the first driving shaft (O) (see FIG. 5).
[0102] At this time, preferably, the first drive shaft (O) is formed such that at least a portion of it overlaps with or abuts the first optical axis (L)-optical axis (L / C) in a direction perpendicular to the first optical axis (L) (see FIG. 4 and FIG. 5).
[0103] Meanwhile, the first magnet (M1) is supported by shielding members (121) on both sides of the first frame (120), and is coupled by fitting holes (121a) of the shielding members (121) into the protrusions on both sides of the first frame (120).
[0104] Next, referring again to FIG. 3, the second frame (130) is interposed between the housing (10) and the first frame (120).
[0105] At this time, it includes a plurality of second ball members (B2) positioned between the housing (10) and the second frame (120) and supporting the second frame (120) so that it can rotate in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
[0106] Accordingly, the second frame (130) is supported by the second ball members (B2) and rotated in the second direction (Y-axis direction) in the second plane (XY plane).
[0107] Meanwhile, a third frame (140) may be interposed between the housing (10) and the second frame (130).
[0108] The third frame (140) is fixedly installed in the housing (10) and supports the rotational movement of the second frame (130) and the first frame (120).
[0109] Based on this third frame (140), the second frame (130) is supported by the second ball members (B2) and can be rotated in the second direction (Y-axis direction) in the second plane (XY plane).
[0110] At this time, preferably, the rotational center axis of the second frame (130) may be formed to coincide with or at least partially overlap the optical axis (Z / C) of the second optical axis (Z) (see FIG. 3 and FIG. 5).
[0111] Meanwhile, in one embodiment, the second ball member (B2) described above is made up of a plurality of them and is positioned in a driving space formed by a third frame guide rail (141, FIG. 3 and FIG. 6) formed on both sides of the third frame (140) and a second frame guide rail (135, FIG. 6) formed on both sides of the vertical rear of the second frame (130).
[0112] Meanwhile, the housing (10) is provided with a second coil (C2) in the negative direction of the Z-axis of the second frame (130), and the second frame (130) is provided with a second magnet (M2) in a position facing the second coil (C2) of the housing (10). These second magnet (M2) and second coil (C2) are arranged as a second driving unit with the third direction (Z-axis direction) of the housing (10) as the driving axis.
[0113] And, the second frame (130) is rotated in the second direction (Y-axis direction) relative to the third frame (140) by the electromagnetic force generated by the second coil (C2) and the second magnet (M2).
[0114] The third frame (140) corresponds to a fixed body in a relative view based on the second frame (130).
[0115] Meanwhile, preferably, the rotational center axis of the second frame (130) is formed on the optical axis line (Z / C) of the second optical axis (Z) so as to coincide with or at least partially overlap with the second optical axis.
[0116] To this end, the driving axis line of the second magnet (M2) and the second coil (C2) of the second driving unit, which provides driving force to the second frame (130), may be formed to coincide with or at least partially overlap or be close to the optical axis line (Z / C) of the second optical axis (Z).
[0117] And, the second frame (130) has an 'L' shape formed by the vertical frame (130a) and the horizontal frame (130b) being integrally formed.
[0118] A plurality of second ball members (B2) are arranged in the Y-axis direction on the front surface of the vertical frame (130a) facing the third frame (140) and are in ball contact with the third frame (140).
[0119] And the horizontal frame (130b) is formed by extending the lower part of the vertical frame (130a) in the Z-axis direction, and the aforementioned plurality of first ball members (160: 161, 162, 163) are arranged on the upper surface (133) and ball contact is made with the lower surface (127) of the first frame (120).
[0120] Meanwhile, the second frame (130) is provided with a centering magnet (C / M) at the center of the upper surface (133) of the horizontal frame (130b). This centering magnet (C / M) is seated on the magnet groove (134).
[0121] At this time, a suction yoke (123) is provided on the bottom surface of the first frame (120) which is seated on the upper surface (133) of the second frame (130), in a position facing the centering magnet (C / M).
[0122] Due to the suction force generated by the centering magnet (C / M) and the suction yoke (123), the second frame (130) and the first frame (120) can maintain their center while maintaining their position without separating from each other during operation.
[0123] In other words, the first frame (120) can maintain its center relative to the second frame (130) by means of the centering magnet (C / M) and the suction yoke (123), and additionally, the first ball members (161, 162, 163) can maintain close contact with the second frame (130) and the first frame (120) by means of the suction force.
[0124] Meanwhile, as described above, the first frame (120) physically supports the reflector (110) and is supported by the first ball members (161, 162, 163) centered on the second frame (130), and is rotated in the first direction (X-axis direction) perpendicular to the second direction (Y-axis direction) using the electromagnetic force generated by the first drive unit, that is, the first coil (C1) and the first magnet (M1), as the driving force.
[0125] At this time, the first ball member described above is provided in multiple numbers, and the center ball (163), which becomes the rotational center axis (C / C) of the first frame (120), is arranged to coincide with the optical axis (L / C) of the first optical axis (L) of the reflector (110).
[0126] Preferably, the center ball (163) may be positioned so that at least a portion overlaps or abuts the first optical axis (L).
[0127] Meanwhile, the first ball members (161, 162, 163) are arranged spaced apart from each other around a central ball (163) that serves as the center of rotation, so as to have a fan shape.
[0128] In other words, the first ball member includes at least one first-1 ball (161) positioned in the positive direction of the X-axis around the center ball (163), and at least one first-2 ball (162) positioned in the negative direction of the X-axis around the center ball (163).
[0129] Referring again to FIG. 7, in one embodiment, the center ball (163) forming the rotational center axis (C / C) of the first frame (120) has a spherical shape that is free to move and is seated on the driving space formed by the lower shaft groove (132) formed on the upper surface (133) of the horizontal frame (130a) of the second frame (130) and the upper shaft groove (126) formed on the lower surface (127) of the first frame (120) facing each other.
[0130] However, the center ball (163) is not limited to a spherical shape, and various forms such as a protruding protrusion shape can be applied as long as it can serve as the rotational center axis (C / C) of the first frame (120).
[0131] For example, referring again to FIG. 8, in another embodiment, the center ball (163') may be configured such that one side protrudes downward from the bottom surface (127) of the first frame (120) and the protruding part has a hemispherical shape corresponding to the lower shaft groove (132).
[0132] In addition, although not illustrated, contrary to FIG. 8, the center ball may be configured such that one side protrudes upward from the upper surface of the horizontal frame (130a) and the protruding part has a hemispherical shape corresponding to the upper shaft groove (126, FIG. 7).
[0133] Meanwhile, referring again to FIGS. 3, 7, and 8, the second frame (130) has a first lower guide rail (131a) on which a first-1 ball (161) is seated and disposed on the upper surface (133) of the horizontal frame (130a), and a second lower guide rail (131b) on which a first-2 ball (162) is seated and disposed.
[0134] At this time, on the bottom surface of the first frame (120), a first upper guide rail (125a) formed facing the first lower guide rail (131a) and a second upper guide rail (125b) formed facing the second lower guide rail (131b) are formed.
[0135] Accordingly, the first upper guide rail (125a) and the first lower guide rail (131a) provide a driving space in which the first-1 ball (161) moves while in ball contact, and the second upper guide rail (125b) and the second lower guide rail (131b) provide a driving space in which the first-2 ball (162) moves while in ball contact.
[0136] Meanwhile, the first lower guide rail (131a), the first upper guide rail (125a), the second lower guide rail (131b), and the second upper guide rail (125b) have a set length to facilitate the axial rotational movement of the first frame (120) and have a groove shape of an arc formed by indentation in a 'V' shape.
[0137] Meanwhile, referring again to FIG. 6, the first ball (161) described above has a structure in which both lower sides simultaneously make point contact with the inner circumference of the first lower guide rail (131a), and only one upper side makes point contact with the inner circumference of the first upper guide rail (125a).
[0138] In other words, it allows the ball contact point where the first-1 ball (161) contacts the guide rail (131a, 125a) during driving to be minimized.
[0139] In this way, by minimizing the ball contact points, not only can the frictional force be reduced during rotational movement of the first frame (120), but assembly errors can also be minimized by reducing the cumulative dimensions between the first upper guide rail (125a) and the first lower guide rail (131a).
[0140] Meanwhile, the first-2 ball (162) at a position symmetrical to the first-1 ball (161) also has the same structure as the first-1 ball (161).
[0141] In other words, it is preferable that the first and second balls (162) have a structure in which both lower sides simultaneously make point contact with the inner circumference of the second lower guide rail (131b), and only one upper side makes point contact with the inner circumference of the second upper guide rail (125b).
[0142] Meanwhile, referring again to FIGS. 3 to 8, as described above, the first ball members (160), consisting of the first-1 ball (161), the first-2 ball (162), and the center ball (163), are arranged spaced apart from the center ball (163) to form a fan shape.
[0143] At this time, it is preferable that the centering magnet (C / M) be positioned at the center of the fan shape formed by the first-1 ball (161), the first-2 ball (162), and the center ball (163).
[0144] Accordingly, the second frame (130) and the first frame (120) can maintain their positions and increase driving responsiveness even when driven (rotated) by the suction force generated by the centering magnet (C / M) and the suction yoke (123).
[0145] Meanwhile, although it is described that a centering magnet (C / M) is provided in the second frame (130) and a suction yoke (123) is provided in the first frame (120), this is not limited thereto, and it is understood that the positions of the centering magnet (C / M) and the suction yoke (123) can be mutually changed as needed.
[0147] As described above, the reflector driving actuator (100) applied to the folded camera module (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention is formed such that the rotational center axis (C / C) of the rotating center ball (163, 163') of the first frame (120) is placed on the first driving axis (O) of the first magnet (M1) and the first coil (C1) of the first driving unit that provides driving force for rotation in the X-axis direction, or at least a part of the center ball is formed to overlap, be placed in close proximity, or come into contact with each other.
[0148] In addition, the first optical axis (L) incident on the reflector (110) and the rotational center axis (C / C) of the center ball (163, 163') of the first ball member are aligned, or at least a part of the center ball is formed to overlap, be placed in close proximity, or come into contact.
[0149] Additionally, the first drive shaft (O) is formed such that at least a portion of it overlaps with, is placed in close proximity to, or is in contact with the first optical axis (L) in a direction perpendicular to the first optical axis (L) incident on the reflector (110).
[0150] In addition, the rotational center axis (C / C) of the center ball (163, 163') rotating in the X-axis direction of the first frame (120) equipped with a reflector (110) on the optical axis line of the second optical axis (Z) is positioned or at least a part is formed to overlap, be placed in close proximity, or be in contact with.
[0151] In addition, the rotation center axis for the Y-axis rotation of the second frame (130) is formed to coincide with or at least partially overlap or be in close proximity to the optical axis line (Z / C) of the second optical axis (Z). To this end, the drive axes of the second magnet (M2) and the second coil (C2) of the second drive unit, which provide driving force to the second frame (130), may be formed to coincide with or at least partially overlap or be in close proximity to the optical axis line (Z / C) of the second optical axis (Z).
[0152] By doing so, the change in the correction range for implementing the OIS function can be reduced, thereby increasing the driving characteristics and camera performance of the camera module (1).
[0153] In addition, as the rotational center axis (C / C) of the center ball (163, 163') is positioned on the optical axis (Z / C) of the second optical axis, the process of aligning the center of the optical axis (Z-axis) of the reflector drive actuator (100), the lens module (200), and the image sensor (300) is not only easy, but the loss rate of the FOV (Field of View) can also be reduced and the OIS function of the reflector (110) can be improved.
[0154] Meanwhile, the first frame (120) can maintain its center relative to the second frame (130) by means of the suction force generated by the centering magnet (C / M) provided on the upper surface (133) of the second frame (130) constituting the reflector drive actuator (100) and the suction yoke (123) provided on the lower surface (127) of the first frame (120), and the suction force can be maintained so that the first ball members (161, 162, 163) are in close contact with the second frame (130) and the first frame (120).
[0155] In addition, the first-1 ball (161) and the first-2 ball (162) of the first ball member can reduce friction by reducing the ball contact points during driving, and can also minimize assembly errors by reducing the cumulative dimensions between the guide rails.
