Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of electronic control elements, specifically to relays. Background Technology
[0002] A relay is a control element equipped with an electronic control system (also called an input circuit) and a controlled system (also called an output circuit), and is generally applied in automatic control circuits. In practice, a relay is an "automatic switch" that controls a large current with a small current. Therefore, in circuits, it performs roles such as automatic adjustment, safety protection, and circuit switching.
[0003] High-voltage DC relays are a type of relay, and to solve the problem of the relay's contacts bouncing off due to the electric repulsion force generated by short-circuit current, related technologies generally provide an electromagnetic structure for a short-circuit-resistant ring. Depending on the installation location of the upper magnetic element of the short-circuit-resistant ring, they are further classified into a tracking structure and a fixed structure. Specifically, the tracking structure means that the upper magnetic element is placed in the relay's movable assembly, while the fixed structure means that the upper magnetic element is placed in a fixed position outside the movable assembly. However, although the short-circuit resistance of the fixed short-circuit-resistant structure is significantly improved, the interruption capability is reduced due to the negative correlation between short-circuit resistance and interruption capability. Therefore, the tracking short-circuit-resistant structure is affected by the holding force of the movable core; if the short-circuit current is high, the core detaches and the contacts separate. Furthermore, increasing the holding force of the movable core requires increasing the size of the coil, which contradicts the goal of miniaturization and weight reduction.
[0004] An embodiment of the present invention provides a relay that combines short-circuit resistance and extreme interruption capability.

[0050] Since the fixed member is connected to the insulating cover through a connector, the magnetic attraction force of the short circuit is transmitted to the insulating cover on the one hand, so excessive coil holding force is not required, further reducing the power consumption and volume of the relay coil and improving the short circuit capability. On the other hand, since the fixed member is connected to the insulating cover, it does not occupy excessive space in the contact chamber, and the arc extinguishing space of the arc extinguishing unit and the movement space of the push rod assembly can be secured.
[0051] In addition, the connector has a tubular structure, and the structural strength of a tubular structure is softer. When connecting the connector and the fixture by riveting, welding, etc., the riveting or welding stress generated between the connector and the fixture and transmitted to the connection point between the connector and the insulating cover through the tubular connector is relatively small; therefore, the connection strength between the connector and the insulating cover is ensured, thereby improving product reliability. Specific details for implementing the invention
[0053] Next, exemplary embodiments will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. However, exemplary embodiments may be implemented in various forms and should not be understood as being limited to the embodiments described herein. On the contrary, these embodiments are provided to ensure that the invention is comprehensive and complete and to fully convey the concept of the exemplary embodiments to those skilled in the art. Since like reference numerals in the drawings indicate the same or similar structures, their detailed description is omitted.
[0054] As illustrated in FIG. 1, a relay according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a housing (1100), an electromagnet unit (1200), an arc extinguishing unit (1300), and a sealing unit (1400). The sealing unit (1400) is provided within the housing (1100), and the upper portion of the fixed contact output end of the sealing unit (1400) is exposed to the outer surface of the housing (1100) through an exposure hole (1130) of the housing (1100). Both the electromagnet unit (1200) and the arc extinguishing unit (1300) are installed within the housing (1100).
[0055] Furthermore, in embodiments of the present invention, the terms “include,” “have,” and any variations thereof are intended to cover non-exclusive inclusions. For example, a process, method, system, product, or device comprising a series of steps or units is not limited to the listed steps or units, may optionally include unlisted steps or units, or optionally include other steps or components unique to such process, method, product, or device.
[0056] As an example, the housing (1100) includes a first case (1110) and a second case (1120), and the first case (1110) and the second case (1120) are connected by a lock to form a chamber for accommodating an electromagnet unit (1200), an arc extinguishing unit (1300), and a sealing unit (1400).
[0057] The arc extinguishing unit (1300) is used to extinguish the arc occurring between the fixed contact withdrawal end of the sealing unit (1400) and the movable contact.
[0058] For example, the arc extinguishing unit (1300) includes two arc extinguishing magnets (1310). The arc extinguishing magnets (1310) may be permanent magnets, and each arc extinguishing magnet (1310) may be approximately rectangular. The two arc extinguishing magnets (1310) are provided on each side of the sealing unit (1400) and are provided facing each other along the longitudinal direction of the movable contact.
[0059] By installing two opposing arc-extinguishing magnets (1310), a magnetic field can be formed around the fixed contact output end and the movable contact. Therefore, the arc generated between the fixed contact output end and the movable contact is extended in a direction apart from each other by the action of the magnetic field, thereby extinguishing the arc.
[0060] The arc extinguishing unit (1300) further includes two yoke clamps (1320) positioned corresponding to the positions of the two arc extinguishing magnets (1310). The two yoke clamps (1320) surround the sealing unit (1400) and the two arc extinguishing magnets (1310). By designing the yoke clamps (1320) to surround the arc extinguishing magnets (1310), the magnetic field generated by the arc extinguishing magnets (1310) can be diffused outward, thereby avoiding an effect on the arc extinguishing effect. The yoke clamps (1320) are made of a soft magnetic material. Soft magnetic materials may include, but are not limited to, iron, cobalt, nickel, and alloys thereof.
[0061] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 4, a sealing unit (1400) according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a contact container (10), a pair of fixed contact extraction terminals (20), a push rod assembly (50), a first magnetic body (40), a movable body (80), a fixed member (60), and a first elastic member (70).
[0062] It can be understood that the contact container (10) is a device having a chamber, mainly a housing, as a stopper member for accommodating a contact assembly. Additionally, the contact container (10) can be formed by connecting a plurality of parts in a predetermined assembly method.
[0063] The contact container (10) has a contact chamber (101) inside. The contact container (10) may include an insulating cover (11a) and a yoke plate (13), wherein the insulating cover (11a) covers the surface of one side of the yoke plate (13), and the insulating cover (11a) and the yoke plate (13) are enclosed together to form the contact chamber (101).
[0064] The insulating cover (11a) includes a ceramic cover (11) and a flange member (12). The ceramic cover (11) is connected to the yoke plate (13) through the flange member (12). The flange member (12) can form a metal part with an annular structure, such as an iron-nickel alloy, and one end of the flange member (12) is connected to the opening edge of the ceramic cover (11) through laser welding, brazing, resistance welding, bonding, etc. The other end of the flange member (12) is likewise connected to the yoke plate (13) by laser welding, brazing, resistance welding, bonding, etc. By installing the flange member (12) between the ceramic cover (11) and the yoke plate (13), the connection between the ceramic cover (11) and the yoke plate (13) can be facilitated.
[0065] The contact container (10) further includes a pair of first through holes (102), and the first through holes (102) are in communication with the contact chamber (101). The first through holes (102) allow a fixed contact extraction end (20) to pass through inside. In an embodiment of the present invention, the first through holes (102) are opened in the ceramic cover (11).
[0066] A pair of fixed contact output terminals (20) are connected to the ceramic cover (11) of the contact container (10), and at least a portion of each fixed contact output terminal (20) is located within the contact chamber (101). One of the pair of fixed contact output terminals (20) functions as a current inflow terminal, and the other functions as a current outflow terminal.
[0067] A pair of fixed contact outlets (20) are inserted into a pair of first through holes (102) in a one-to-one manner and are connected to a ceramic cover (11) by welding or the like.
[0068] The bottom portion of the fixed contact output unit (20) is used as a fixed contact, and the fixed contact can be installed integrally or separately on the bottom portion of the fixed contact output unit (20).
[0069] As illustrated in FIG. 4, the push rod assembly (50) is movably connected to the contact container (10) along the axial direction of the rod. The push rod assembly (50) may include a rod portion (51), a base (52), a movable member (53), and a second elastic member (56).
[0070] The yoke plate (13) is provided with a second through hole (131), and the second through hole (131) penetrates two opposing sides of the yoke plate (13) along the thickness direction of the yoke plate (13) and communicates with the contact chamber (101) of the contact container (10). A rod portion (51) is inserted into the second through hole (131) so as to be movable along the axial direction. A base (52) is provided at one axial end of the rod portion (51), and at least a portion of the base (52) is located within the contact chamber (101).
[0071] A movable member (53) is movably connected to the base (52) along the axial direction of the rod portion (51). The movable member (53) includes a movable contactor (54) and a second magnetic body (55). The second magnetic body (55) is fixedly connected to the movable contactor (54), and the second magnetic body (55) is installed on the side oriented toward the first magnetic body (40) of the movable contactor (54), and the second magnetic body (55) is used to form a ceramic circuit with the first magnetic body (40). Both ends of the movable contactor (54) are used to contact the bottom portions of a pair of fixed contact outlets (20) to achieve contact closure. The movable contactor (54) includes a movable contact piece and movable contacts provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece. The movable contacts may protrude from the movable contact piece and may coincide with the movable contact piece.
[0072] It can be understood that the movable contact may be provided integrally or separately at both ends of the movable contact piece.
[0073] The second elastic member (56) is connected to the movable member (53) and the base (52) and is used to impart an elastic force to the movable member (53) moving toward the fixed contact outlet (20).
[0074] The push rod assembly (50) further includes a sliding structure (57) connected to a base (52) and a movable member (53), and the movable member (53) is slidable relative to the base (52) through the sliding structure (57). The sliding structure (57) includes a cooperating limit hole (572) and a limit portion (571). The limit portion (571) extends slidably into the limit hole (572).
[0075] In an embodiment of the present invention, since the base (52) is directly connected to the movable member (53) through a sliding structure (57), the assembly between the base (52) and the movable member (53) becomes simpler. Additionally, since there are no other components between the movable member (53) and the first magnetic body (40), movement interference between the other components and the first magnetic body (40) is prevented during the overtravel process.
[0076] It can be understood that the limit hole (572) may be a through hole or a blind hole.
[0077] For example, a limit hole (572) is provided in the base (52), and a limit part (571) is provided in the movable member (53).
[0078] Of course, in other embodiments, the push rod assembly (50) may have a different structure, which is not listed further here.
[0079] As illustrated in FIGS. 4 to 6, the sealing unit (1400) further comprises a metal cover (1410), the metal cover (1410) is connected to one side of a yoke plate (13) oriented on an insulating cover (11a) and covers a second through hole (131) on the yoke plate (13). The metal cover (1410) and the yoke plate (13) surround to form a chamber that accommodates a fixed core (1230) and a movable core (1240) of an electromagnet unit (1200).
[0080] The electromagnet unit (1200) includes a coil bobbin (1210), a coil (1220), a fixed core (1230), a movable core (1240), and a reset member (1250). The coil bobbin (1210) has a hollow tube shape and is made of an insulating material. A metal cover (1410) penetrates the coil bobbin (1210). The coil (1220) surrounds the coil bobbin (1210). The fixed core (1230) is fixedly installed within the metal cover (1410), and a portion of the fixed core (1230) enters the second through hole (131). The fixed core (1230) has a through hole (1231), and the through hole (1231) is provided corresponding to the position of the second through hole (131) so that a rod portion (51) can penetrate inside. A movable core (1240) is movably provided within a metal cover (1410) and is provided opposite to a fixed core (1230). The movable core (1240) is connected to a rod portion (51) and is used to be attracted to the fixed core (1230) when current flows through the coil (1220). The movable core (1240) and the rod portion (51) may be connected by screw fastening, riveting, welding, or other methods.
[0081] The reset member (1250) is located inside the metal cover (1410) and is positioned between the fixed core (1230) and the movable core (1240), and is used to reset the movable core (1240) when the power to the coil (1220) is cut off. The reset member (1250) may be a spring and is sleeved on the outside of the load portion (51).
[0082] When current flows through the coil (1220), the electromagnet unit (1200) can drive the push rod assembly (50) to move upward through the load portion (51). When the movable member (53) comes into contact with the fixed contact output terminal (20), the movable member (53) is stopped by the fixed contact output terminal (20), but the load portion (51) and the base (52) continue to move upward until overtravel is completed.
[0083] Referring further to FIGS. 4 through 6, the first magnetic body (40) is provided within the contact chamber (101), and the first magnetic body (40) is provided on one side of the movable contactor (54) facing the fixed contact extraction end (20). The fixed member (60) is fixedly connected to the insulating cover (11a) of the contact container (10). The movable body (80) is movably installed on the fixed member (60). The first magnetic body (40) is provided within the contact chamber (101) and connected to the movable body (80), and the first magnetic body (40) is movable relative to the movable member (53) through the movable body (80).
[0084] In an embodiment of the present invention, the limit portion (571) may be provided in the second magnetic body (55), but is not limited thereto.
[0085] For example, the second magnetic body (55) and the movable contactor (54) may be fixedly connected via rivets, but are not limited thereto.
[0086] It can be understood that both the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) can be made of materials such as iron, cobalt, nickel, and alloys thereof.
[0087] In one embodiment, the first magnetic body (40) may be straight or U-shaped, and the second magnetic body (55) may be straight or U-shaped, but is not limited thereto.
[0088] When both ends of the movable contact (54) come into contact with a pair of fixed contact output terminals (20), a second magnetic body (55) that moves together with the movable contact (54) approaches or comes into contact with the first magnetic body (40), and a magnetic conduction circuit is formed that surrounds the movable contact (54) between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55). When a short-circuit current flows through the movable contact (54), a magnetic attractive force is generated between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) according to the pressure direction of the contact, and this magnetic attractive force overcomes the electric repulsion force caused by the short-circuit current between the movable contact (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20), thereby ensuring that the movable contact (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20) do not bounce off.
[0089] The first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) are each located on both sides of the movable contact (54), and when current flows through the movable contact (54), the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body is a direct electromagnetic attraction force, so the electric repulsion force caused by the short-circuit current between the movable contact (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20) can be resisted more effectively, thereby effectively improving the short-circuit resistance capability.
[0090] Based on the above, a magnetic attraction force is generated between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) according to the direction of contact pressure, and the magnetic attraction force can counteract the electric repulsion force caused by the short-circuit current between the movable contact (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20), and ensures that the movable contact (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20) do not bounce off.
[0091] When the current flowing through the movable contactor (54) is constant, the magnitude of the magnetic attraction force generated between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is inversely proportional to the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) of the movable member (53), and the smaller the distance, the greater the magnetic attraction force.
[0092] In order to counteract the electric repulsion force caused by the short-circuit current and prevent the movable contact (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20) from bouncing off, the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) must be designed to be small, thereby increasing the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55).
[0093] In order to facilitate timely blocking, the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) must be designed to be larger so as to reduce the magnetic attraction between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) and to ensure that the timely blocking is not affected by excessive magnetic attraction.
[0094] Through this, it can be seen that when the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is a specific value, the short-circuit capability and the extreme blocking capability cannot be achieved simultaneously.
[0095] In an embodiment of the present invention, the first magnetic body (40) can move relative to the movable member (53) through the movable body (80), and the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is adjusted according to the current value flowing through the movable contactor (54), thereby considering both the short-circuit capability and the extreme interruption capability.
[0096] In some embodiments, the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is different. For example, if the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) are not parallel to each other, the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is different at different locations. In this case, the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) refers to the maximum distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55).
[0097] As illustrated in FIGS. 5 to 10, the first magnetic body (40) moves between a first position (P1) and a second position (P2) through a movable body (80). At the first position (P1), the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is a first gap (H1). At the second position (P2), the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is a second gap (H2), and the first gap (H1) is greater than the second gap (H2). By arranging the first magnetic body (40) to be movable, the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) can be adjusted according to the magnitude of the current value, and by changing the magnitude of the magnetic attraction force generated between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55), both the short-circuit capability and the extreme interruption capability are taken into account.
[0098] For example, at the second position (P2), the second gap (H2) between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is equal to 0. That is, at the second position (P2), the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) are in contact with each other. Through this, the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) can be maximized to improve the short-circuit capability.
[0099] Of course, in other embodiments, the second gap (H2) between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) at the second position (P2) may not be zero. That is, at the second position (P2), the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) do not come into contact with each other and a gap exists.
[0100] The first elastic member (70) serves to provide elastic force to the movable body (80) so that the first magnetic body (40) tends to move away from the movable member (53). In an embodiment of the present invention, the first elastic member (70) is used to provide elastic force to the movable body (80) so that the first magnetic body (40) tends to move toward the first position (P1).
[0101] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 5 to 10, an embodiment of the present invention explains how it achieves compatibility between short-circuit current and extreme interruption.
[0102] As illustrated in FIGS. 5 to 7, the relay is in a normal operating state, and the current flowing through the movable contact (54) is less than or equal to the threshold current, for example, the current value is less than 2000A. At this time, because the current value is small, the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is also small, and the magnetic attraction force is smaller than the elastic preload force of the first elastic member (70). As a result, the elastic force of the first elastic member (70) can offset the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) to maintain the first magnetic body (40) in the first position (P1). When the first magnetic body (40) is in the first position (P1), the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is the first gap (H1). For example, the first gap (H1) may be 1.5 mm, but is not limited thereto.
[0103] It can be understood that the magnitude of the above threshold current can be adjusted according to various types of relays. For example, if the maximum cutoff current of the relay is large, the threshold current can also be set larger, thereby ensuring that the first magnetic body (40) remains in the first position (P1) and does not move to the second position (P2) during the normal operating state of the relay.
[0104] As illustrated in FIGS. 8 to 10, when the current value flowing through the movable contactor (54) is greater than the threshold current, the current is, for example, greater than 2000A, and since the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is proportional to the current value, the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) becomes greater as the current value increases. If the magnetic attraction force is greater than the elastic preload force of the first elastic member (70), the first magnetic body (40) is pulled by the magnetic attraction force and moves in a direction closer to the second magnetic body (55) (i.e., moves from the first position (P1) to the second position (P2)), and the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) becomes smaller. Also, since the magnitude of the magnetic distance is inversely proportional to the magnitude of the magnetic attraction force, that is, the smaller the magnetic distance, the greater the magnetic attraction force. When a short-circuit current (much larger than the threshold current) flows, a greater magnetic attraction force is generated between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55), and this magnetic attraction force can compress the first elastic member (70) to move the first magnetic body (40) to the second position (P2), at which time the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) is the second gap (H2). The second gap (H2) is smaller than the first gap (H1), and as the gap becomes smaller, the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) increases. Accordingly, the first magnetic body (40) can attract the second magnetic body (55) through a large magnetic attraction force, and this magnetic attraction force can counteract the electric repulsion force caused by the short-circuit current, and ensures that the movable contact (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20) do not bounce, thereby realizing the ability to withstand short circuits.
[0105] In a relay according to an embodiment of the present invention, a first magnetic body (40) is movably provided inside a contact container (10) through a movable body (80), so that the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body can be adjusted according to the current value, and by changing the magnitude of the magnetic attraction force generated between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55), not only can the internal short circuit be satisfied, but the requirement for overload protection can also be satisfied.
[0106] For reference, as the first magnetic body (40) moves from the first position (P1) to the second position (P2), the first elastic member (70) is gradually compressed, and the reverse elastic force applied by the first elastic member (70) to the movable body (80) gradually increases. If the current value flowing through the movable contactor (54) is greater than the threshold current but has not yet reached the short-circuit current, the first magnetic body (40) will be maintained at a specific intermediate position between the first position (P1) and the second position (P2) by the gradually increasing reverse elastic force. When the current value flowing through the movable contactor (54) reaches the short-circuit current, a greater magnetic attraction force is generated between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55), and this magnetic attraction force is sufficient to overcome the reverse elastic force of the first elastic member (70), so that the first magnetic body (40) continues to move to the second position (P2), and the first elastic member (70) continues to be compressed until the first magnetic body (40) moves to the second position (P2).
[0107] Referring again to FIGS. 4 through 6 and FIG. 8, the fixing member (60) includes two connectors (610) and a fixing body (620), one end of the two connectors (610) is connected to a contact container (10), and the other end of the two connectors (610) is connected to the fixing body (620). The fixing body (620) has a plate-like structure and is arranged parallel to the yoke plate (13).
[0108] The fixed body (620) of the fixed member (60) has a first side (621) facing the yoke plate (13) and a second side (622) opposite to the first side (621). The first elastic member (70) is provided on the second side (622), the first magnetic body (40) and the movable member (53) are provided on the first side (621), and the first magnetic body (40) is provided between the first elastic member (70) and the movable member (53). One end of the movable member (80) is connected to the first elastic member (70), and the other end is connected to the first magnetic body (40). The first magnetic body (40), the first elastic member (70), and the fixed member (60) are all located on the side facing the fixed contact outlet (20) of the movable contactor (54).
[0109] When the first magnetic body (40) is at the first position (P1), the first magnetic body (40) comes into contact with the surface of the first side (621) of the fixed body (620). When the first magnetic body (40) is at the second position (P2), the first magnetic body (40) is separated from the fixed body (620).
[0110] The connector (610) has a tubular structure, and one end of the connector (610) in the axial direction is fixedly connected to the ceramic cover (11) of the insulating cover (11a), and the other end of the connector (610) in the axial direction is connected to the fixed body (620).
[0111] In an embodiment of the present invention, a third through hole (103) is opened in the upper wall of the ceramic cover (11) of the contact container (10), and the connector (610) can pass through the third through hole (103). The connection method between one end of the connector (610) in the axial direction and the ceramic cover (11) can be implemented in various ways, such as welding, riveting, screw connection, and bonding. The connection method between the other end of the connector (610) and the fixing body (620) can also be implemented in various ways, such as welding, riveting, screw connection, and bonding.
[0112] When one end of the connector (610) is connected to the ceramic cover (11) by welding, by welding the connector (610) to the upper wall of the ceramic cover (11), the metallization layer can be processed only on the periphery edge of the third through hole (103) on the outer wall of the upper wall without processing the metallization layer on the inner wall surface of the upper wall, and it can be understood that this not only facilitates processing but also simplifies the processing steps.
[0113] It can be understood that one end of the connector (610) may be connected to the outer wall surface of the ceramic cover (11), may be connected to the inner wall surface of the ceramic cover (11), or may be connected to both the outer wall surface and the inner wall surface of the ceramic cover (11) simultaneously.
[0114] In an embodiment of the present invention, one end of the connector (610) is connected to the perimeter edge of the third through hole (103) of the ceramic cover (11).
[0115] The fixed body (620) is connected to the ceramic cover (11) through the connector (610), and since the magnetic attraction force of the internal short circuit is transmitted to the ceramic cover (11), it can be understood that excessive coil holding force is not required, and furthermore, the power consumption of the relay coil and the volume of the relay can be reduced and the internal short circuit capability can be improved. On the other hand, since the fixed member (60) is connected to the ceramic cover (11), it does not occupy an excessive amount of space in the contact chamber, and secures the arc extinguishing space of the arc extinguishing unit (1300) and the movement space of the push rod assembly (50).
[0116] Additionally, the connector (610) has a tubular structure, and the structural strength of the tubular structure is softer. When the connector (610) and the fixed body (620) are connected by means such as riveting or welding, the riveting stress or welding stress generated between the connector (610) and the fixed body (620) is transmitted to the connection point between the connector (610) and the insulating cover (11a) through the tubular structure connector (610), and the stress is relatively small. Accordingly, the connection strength between the connector (610) and the insulating cover (11a) is secured, and the reliability of the product is improved.
[0117] As illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 6, the connector (610) includes an insert (611) and a flange (612). The insert (611) has a tubular structure and is inserted into a third through hole (103), and one end of the insert (611) is connected to a fixed body (620). The flange (612) protrudes from the outer surface of one end of the insert (611) that is away from the connector (620), and the flange (612) is connected to the periphery edge of the third through hole (103).
[0118] The bottom portion of the tubular structure is connected to a fixed body (620), and the flange (612) extends radially from the opening edge portion of the tubular structure toward the outside of the tubular structure.
[0119] It will be understood that the bottom portion of the tubular structure can be connected to the surface of the second side (622) of the fixed body (620) by means of welding, riveting, bonding, etc.
[0120] The shape of the movable body (80) may vary; for example, the movable body (80) may be columnar, and one end of the movable body (80) and the first elastic member (70) may be connected by methods such as welding, riveting, screw connection, or bonding, and the other end of the movable body (80) and the first magnetic body (40) may also be connected by methods such as welding, riveting, screw connection, or bonding. As a variation, the shape of the movable body (80) may be inverted U-shape, the upper part of the inverted U-shape structure is connected to the first elastic member (70), and both sides of the inverted U-shape structure are connected to both sides of the first magnetic body (40).
[0121] For example, the fixed body (620) is suspended from the upper wall of the ceramic cover (11) through two connectors (610). At the same time, the number of movable bodies (80) may be two, but is not limited thereto. The two connectors (610) may be connected to the inner wall surface of the upper wall of the ceramic cover (11) or to the outer wall surface of the upper wall of the ceramic cover (11).
[0122] When the shape of the movable body (80) is columnar, the fixed body (620) is provided with a first hole (623) that penetrates the surface of the first side (621) and the surface of the second side (622). The movable body (80) is movably inserted into the first hole (623). At the first position (P1), the first magnetic body (40) contacts the surface of the first side (621) of the fixed body (620), and one end of the movable body (80) presses the first elastic member (70), causing the first elastic member (70) to have an elastic pre-pressure.
[0123] Meanwhile, since the first magnetic body (40) and the first elastic member (70) are provided on opposite sides of the fixed body (620), it can be understood that there are no other components between the first magnetic body (40) and the movable member (53). As a result, when a large current flows through the movable contactor (54) of the movable member (53), the gap between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) can be as small as possible, and even the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) come into contact, increasing the magnetic attraction force between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) and improving the short-circuit resistance. On the other hand, since the first elastic member (70) is placed on the surface of the second side (622) of the fixed body (620) and does not come into direct contact with the first magnetic body (40), it does not affect the magnetic surface of the first magnetic body (40). On the other hand, the movable body (80) is movably inserted into the first hole (623) of the fixed body (620), and one end of the movable body (80) presses against the first elastic member (70), and the other end of the movable body (80) is connected to the first magnetic body (40), so the structure is made more compact, the original structure of the relay is not altered, and it does not occupy the internal space of the relay. Furthermore, the structure is simpler and assembly is easier. Also, since the first magnetic body (40) acts directly on the movable body (80) and the movable body (80) is inserted into the first hole (623) of the fixed body (620), the magnetic attraction force generated between the first magnetic body (40) and the second magnetic body (55) during the movement of the first magnetic body (40) is not large, so the force arm for the support point formed by the movable body (80) and the first elastic member (70) is relatively small.
[0124] As illustrated in FIG. 5, the first elastic member (70) has a second hole (711) corresponding to the first hole (623). The movable body (80) is inserted into the first hole (623) and the second hole (711). The movable body (80) includes a rod body (820) and a compression cap (810), the compression cap (810) is provided at one end of the rod body (820), and the compression cap (810) serves to press the perimeter edge of one side of the second hole (711) oriented toward the first magnetic body (40).
[0125] While the first magnetic body (40) moves from the first position (P1) to the second position (P2) by magnetic attraction, the compression cap (810) of the movable body (80) presses the first elastic member (70) to compress the first elastic member (70).
[0126] One end of the movable body (80) may be fixedly connected to the first elastic member (70) or movably connected, and when the first magnetic body (40) moves from the first position (P1) to the second position (P2), the movable body (80) may apply force to the first elastic member (70) to compress the first elastic member (70).
[0127] A third hole (420) is provided in the first magnetic body (40), and the third hole (420) corresponds to the positions of the first hole (623) and the second hole (711). A stepped structure (821) is provided on the outer circumference of the rod body (820) of the movable body (80), and the stepped structure (821) comes into contact with the circumferential edge of the third hole (420) toward the first elastic member (70) of the first magnetic body (40).
[0128] When assembling the movable body (80), the first magnetic body (40), the fixed member (60), and the first elastic member (70), the movable body (80) passes sequentially through the second hole (711) of the first elastic member (70), the first hole (623) of the fixed member (60), and the third hole (420) of the first magnetic body (40). The stepped structure (821) of the rod body (820) comes into contact with the perimeter edge of the third hole (420). One end of the rod body (820) facing the movable member (53) is fixedly connected to the first magnetic body (40) by riveting or the like. The compression cap (810) presses against the perimeter edge of the second hole (711).
[0129] As shown in FIG. 5, the fixed body (620), the first magnetic body (40), and the first elastic member (70) of the fixed member (60) are all located between a pair of fixed contact output terminals (20). In this way, the fixed body (620), the first magnetic body (40), and the first elastic member (70) do not occupy the volume in the height direction of the relay, and the overall structure of the relay becomes more compact, which is advantageous for miniaturization.
[0130] The movable body (80) is movably provided on the side facing the fixed contact outlet (20) of the movable member (53), and the movable body (80) is positioned between a pair of fixed contact outlets (20).
[0131] In one embodiment, the movable body (80) and the fixed member (60) are both made of metal to improve the connection strength.
[0132] As illustrated in FIGS. 12 and 13, the first elastic member (70) may be an elastic lead (710), which reduces the space occupied by the elastic lead (710) and provides space for the first magnetic body (40) to move.
[0133] The second elastic member (56) may also be an elastic lead, and likewise, the space occupied by the second elastic member (56) may be reduced and the space for the first magnetic body (40) to move may be provided.
[0134] Avoidance notches (701) are provided at both ends of the elastic lead (710), and the connector (610) passes through the avoidance notches (701). In an embodiment of the present invention, avoidance notches (701) are provided at both relative ends of the first elastic member (70), and two connectors (610) each pass through the avoidance notches (701). By providing avoidance notches (701) in the first elastic member (70), the connector (610) can penetrate the first elastic member (70) and be coupled with the fixed body (620), and as a result, the connector (610), the fixed body (620), the first elastic member (70), and the first magnetic body (40) become more compact after assembly and do not occupy the internal space of the relay.
[0135] Of course, the elastic lead (710) may not have an avoidance notch (701), and the elastic lead (710) may have a hole through which the connector (610) can pass.
[0136] As illustrated in FIGS. 14 and 15, as a modified embodiment, the first elastic member (70) may be a spring (720). One end of the spring (720) contacts the fixed body (620), and the other end of the spring (720) contacts the compression piece (730). One end of the movable body (80) is connected to the compression piece (730) and is pressed against the other end of the spring (720) by the compression piece (730), and the other end of the movable body (80) passes through the first hole (623) of the fixed body (620) and is connected to the first magnetic body (40).
[0137] As illustrated in FIGS. 11 to 13, the relay of the second embodiment has substantially the same basic structure as the relay of the first embodiment. Therefore, the following description of the relay of the second embodiment does not repeat the structure already described in the first embodiment. In addition, the same reference numerals are assigned to structures identical to the structure of the relay described in the first embodiment. Accordingly, the following description of the present embodiment will focus on the differences from the relay of the first embodiment.
[0138] In this embodiment, the first magnetic body (40) may include multiple stacked magnetic sheets (410). Meanwhile, the thickness of the magnetic sheets (410) is relatively thin, and thin tape material can be used, which is inexpensive and easy to handle. Meanwhile, the number of magnetic sheets (410) can be flexibly adjusted according to the magnitude of the short-circuit current, and the thickness of the first magnetic body (40) can be increased or decreased accordingly.
[0139] Each magnetic sheet (410) has a third hole (420) installed, and after multiple magnetic sheets (410) are stacked, the positions of the multiple third holes (420) correspond. The third holes (420) correspond to the positions of the first hole (623) and the second hole (711). When assembling the movable body (80), the first magnetic body (40), the fixed member (60), and the first elastic member (70), the movable body (80) passes through the second hole (711) of the first elastic member (70), the first hole (623) of the fixed member (60), and the multiple third holes (420) of the first magnetic body (40) in sequence. The stepped structure (821) of the rod body (820) is in contact with the perimeter edge of the third hole (420) of the magnetic sheet (410) furthest from the movable member (53) among the multiple magnetic sheets (410). One end of the rod body (820) facing the movable contactor (54) is fixedly connected, for example by riveting, to the magnetic sheet (410) closest to the movable member (53) among the multiple magnetic sheets (410).
[0140] At the first position (P1), among the multiple magnetic sheets (410) of the first magnetic body (40), the magnetic sheet (410) furthest from the movable member (53) comes into contact with the surface of the first side (621) of the fixed body (620).
[0141] As illustrated in FIG. 16, the relay of the third embodiment has substantially the same basic structure as the relay of the first embodiment. Therefore, the following description of the relay of the third embodiment does not repeat the structure already described in the first embodiment. In addition, the same reference numerals are assigned to structures identical to the structure of the relay described in the first embodiment. Accordingly, the following description of the present embodiment will focus on the differences from the relay of the first embodiment.
[0142] In this embodiment, the movable member (53) includes a movable contactor (54) and does not include a second magnetic body (55). When both ends of the movable contactor (54) come into contact with a pair of fixed contact output ends (20), current flows through the movable contactor (54), thereby forming a magnetic conduction circuit surrounding the movable contactor (54) along the outer circumference in the longitudinal direction of the movable contactor (54). Due to the presence of the first magnetic body (40), most of the magnetic field of the magnetic conduction circuit converges on the first magnetic body (40) to magnetize the first magnetic body (40), thereby generating a magnetic attraction force along the direction of contact pressure between the first magnetic body (40) and the movable contactor (54) through which current flows, and this magnetic attraction force can counteract the electric repulsion force generated between the movable contactor (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20) by the short-circuit current, and ensures that the movable contactor (54) and the fixed contact output terminal (20) do not bounce off.
[0143] The first magnetic body (40) is movable with respect to the movable member (53) through the movable body (80), and furthermore, by adjusting the distance between the first magnetic body (40) and the movable contact (54) of the movable member (53) according to the magnitude of the current value flowing through the movable contact (54), both short-circuit capability and extreme interruption capability are achieved.
[0144] As illustrated in FIG. 17, the relay of the fourth embodiment has substantially the same basic structure as the relay of the third embodiment. Therefore, the following description of the relay of the fourth embodiment does not repeat the structure already described in the third embodiment. In addition, the same reference numerals are assigned to structures identical to the structure of the relay described in the third embodiment. Accordingly, the following description of the present embodiment will focus on the differences from the relay of the third embodiment.
[0145] In this embodiment, the first magnetic body (40) may include multiple stacked magnetic sheets (410).
