Abstract
The display device includes a display panel comprising a pixel that receives a luminance control voltage, a driving controller that receives an input image signal and a control signal and provides an output image signal to the display panel, and a voltage generator that generates the luminance control voltage in response to a voltage control signal. The driving controller determines a current driving frequency based on the control signal and, when the current driving frequency differs from a previous driving frequency, outputs the voltage control signal such that the luminance control voltage changes from a first voltage level to a second voltage level based on the difference between the current driving frequency and the previous driving frequency and the driving time of the previous driving frequency.
