Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a connecting bridge device for connecting a multi-point link, in particular, to a multi-member type axle. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a connecting system and a vehicle, in particular a commercial vehicle. Additionally, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a connecting bridge device. Background Technology

[0002] Multipoint links and multi-member axles are known from the prior art. For example, German patent application DE 199 62 406 A1 shows a four-point link, and U.S. patent application US 2019 / 0135101 A1 shows an axle assembly equipped with an electric motor.

[0003] The present invention proposes a connecting bridge device for connecting a multi-point link, particularly to a multi-member type axle. The connecting bridge device comprises at least one main body for receiving and inducing force and / or torque transmitted between the axle and the multi-point link. The connecting bridge device comprises at least one axle fixing unit for fixing the main body to the axle. The connecting bridge device comprises at least one link coupling unit intersecting the main extension surface of the main body to connect the main body to the multi-point link.

[0004] The connecting bridge device is preferably formed at least partially as a connecting bridge, particularly as an axle bridge. The multi-point link is formed particularly as a three-point link or a four-point link, and the four-point link is provided particularly for the stabilization of commercial vehicles. Alternatively, it is conceivable to form the multi-point link as a disassembled triangular link. The disassembled triangular link may, in particular, have two struts arranged in a V-shape similar to a three-point link having a virtual intersection. The disassembled triangular link is formed particularly without a central housing. Preferably, the same axle may be used depending on the configuration of the connecting bridge device having different chassis geometry, particularly different multi-point links. The axle is preferably configured as an electric axle comprising at least one drive unit. The axle has particularly at least two, preferably at least three, axle bodies particularly coupled to each other. Alternatively, the axle may have a single axle body. The "main extension plane" of an object specifically refers to a plane parallel to the largest side of the smallest imaginary cuboid that almost completely encloses the object, and specifically passes through the center point of the cuboid.

[0005] Multipoint links are preferably provided to connect an axle to the body frame of a vehicle, particularly a commercial vehicle. In particular, multipoint links are provided to transmit forces acting on the vehicle, particularly the vehicle axle, during driving to the body frame for axle guidance. Multipoint links, particularly four-point links, are provided specifically to stabilize the vehicle, for example, to absorb at least partially torque resulting from rolling motion. Forces and / or torques can be transmitted at least partially from the axle to the body frame, particularly by the multipoint links. If the multipoint links are attached directly to the axle, particularly the center of the axle, forces and / or torques can damage the axle, particularly the center of the axle. The center may be configured to be particularly less robust, and particularly weaker, than other axle body parts, for example, due to its configuration for accommodating a drive unit.

[0006] A connecting bridge device is preferably provided to indirectly connect a multipoint link to an axle. In particular, the connecting bridge device serves as a connecting piece between the multipoint link and the axle. Preferably, the connecting bridge device is provided to connect the multipoint link to at least one axle body configured differently from the central part. Preferably, the connecting bridge device is provided to connect the multipoint link to at least two axle bodies configured differently from the central part. Preferably, the connecting bridge device is provided to at least partially absorb the force and / or torque transmitted between the axle and the multipoint link and to at least partially direct it from the central part to, in particular, at least one axle body configured differently from the central part. The word “provided” means specifically, specifically programmed, specifically mounted, and / or specifically designed. The word “object provided for function” means specifically that the object performs that function in at least one operating state.

[0007] Preferably, the connecting bridge device comprises at least two axle fixing units for fixing the main body to the axle, particularly to at least two axle bodies configured differently from the central portion. Preferably, the connecting bridge device comprises at least one link connecting unit for connecting the main body to a multi-point link configured as a three-point link. The main body is preferably formed as a metal part, particularly a cast part. Alternatively, it is conceivable that the main body be formed as a composite material part, a forged part, or other part that appears useful to a person skilled in the art. In particular, the main body has a higher part rigidity than the central portion of the axle.

[0008] The axle fixing units and / or at least one link coupling unit are preferably formed integrally with the main body. The term "integrally" means that they are formed specifically as a single piece. Preferably, said single piece is manufactured from a single blank, a single mass, and / or a single mold. In particular, the connecting bridge unit is formed as an integral part, particularly to achieve high part rigidity. The axle fixing units and / or at least one link coupling unit include at least two fixing ducts, particularly for accommodating at least one fixing duct, preferably for accommodating a fixing means such as a screw, bolt, etc. In particular, the fixing duct extends at least partially, preferably completely, through the main body and is specifically defined by the main body. Preferably, at least one fixing duct of the link coupling unit provided for coupling with a three-point link extends perpendicularly to at least one fixing duct of the link coupling unit provided for coupling with a four-point link.

[0009] Preferably, at least one link coupling unit is disposed at least partially within the main extension plane of the main body, particularly for efficient force absorption and / or torque absorption by the main body. Preferably, at least one link coupling unit extends at least partially from two sides facing opposite each other on the main extension plane of the main body.

[0010] By the configuration of the connecting bridge device according to the present invention, efficient force absorption and / or torque absorption and force and / or torque induction by multi-point links are preferably made possible. Preferably, load reduction and wear may be reduced, particularly for multi-component axles. Preferably, the multi-point links may be used with multi-membered, particularly electric, axles. Preferably, a high level of vehicle occupant safety may be possible.

[0011] Additionally, a configuration is proposed in which the connecting bridge device comprises at least two link connecting units for connecting a main body to at least two connecting units of a multi-point link. Preferably, the connecting bridge device comprises at least two link connecting units for connecting a main body to a multi-point link formed as a four-point link or a divided triangular link. In particular, the connecting units of the multi-point link are formed as connecting claws, particularly as molecular joints. Preferably, the link connecting units for connecting to the four-point link or the divided triangular link are positioned in two particularly outer regions of the connecting bridge device, and in particular, at least one link connecting unit is positioned in each of the outer regions. The outer regions form poles facing opposite each other, particularly along the main extension direction of the connecting bridge device. The "main extension direction" of the object specifically refers to a direction parallel to the longest edge of the smallest imaginary rectangular prism that almost completely surrounds the object. Preferably, an axle fixing unit is positioned in the outer regions, and in particular, at least one axle fixing unit is positioned in each of the outer regions. Preferably, a secure connection with a 4-point link or a disassembled triangular link may be possible.

[0012] Additionally, a configuration is proposed in which the main body extends longer than at least one link coupling unit perpendicularly to the main extension plane in a central region facing away from at least one axle fixing unit. The central region is positioned particularly between the two outer regions along the main extension direction. In particular, in the central region, the main body extends longer than at least one link coupling unit perpendicularly to the main extension plane on at least one side of the main extension plane, preferably on both sides of the main extension plane. Preferably, a particularly robust connecting bridge device may be provided.

[0013] Additionally, a configuration is proposed in which the main body has a maximum transverse extension perpendicular to the main extension plane in a central region, particularly facing away from at least one axle fixing unit mentioned earlier. In particular, the main body has a larger transverse extension perpendicular to the main extension plane in the central region than in the outer region, particularly in terms of part thickness. In particular, the main body of a connecting bridge device provided to connect at least four-point links has a maximum transverse extension perpendicular to the main extension plane in the middle region. Preferably, the main body may have at least one recess, etc. parallel to the main extension plane in the central region so as to be mounted precisely to an axle, for example, equipped with a power electronic system. Preferably, efficient force absorption and / or torque absorption through the main body may be possible.

[0014] Additionally, it is proposed that the main body is formed as a hollow profile part at least partially. Preferably, the main body is formed as a hollow profile part with one or more sides open. In particular, the main body of a connecting bridge device provided for connecting a four-point link is formed as a hollow profile part with one side open. In particular, the main body of a connecting bridge device provided for connecting a three-point link is formed as a hollow profile part with multiple sides, particularly two sides open. Preferably, the main body of a connecting bridge device provided for connecting a four-point link is formed to be at least partially open on a side intersecting the main extension plane. In particular, the main body of a connecting bridge device provided for connecting a four-point link is formed to be at least partially open on a side opposite to the link coupling units. In particular, the main body of a connecting bridge device provided for connecting a three-point link is formed to be open on at least one, preferably two, side that does not intersect with the main extension plane. Preferably, the main body of a connecting bridge device provided for connecting a three-point link is formed to be open on two sides positioned on different sides of the main extension plane. Preferably, the main body is formed to be open at least in the central region. Preferably, a weight-optimized connecting bridge device may be provided.

[0015] Additionally, a configuration is proposed in which the main body has at least one reinforcing rib. In particular, the main body of a connecting bridge device provided to connect at least four-point links has at least one reinforcing rib. In particular, the main body has at least one reinforcing rib, preferably at least two reinforcing ribs, particularly preferably at least three reinforcing ribs, and very particularly preferably at least four reinforcing ribs. Preferably, the reinforcing rib has a plane intersecting with the main extension plane. In particular, the reinforcing rib extends perpendicularly and parallelly to the main extension plane. In particular, the reinforcing rib supports the outer surface regions of the main body that are spaced apart from each other transversely with respect to the main extension plane. The main body having the reinforcing rib is formed by a cast structure with one side open, particularly in the central region. Preferably, a connecting bridge device optimized in terms of weight and stiffness can be provided.

[0016] Additionally, a configuration is proposed in which the main body has at least two reinforcing ribs that together form a single undercut section. The two reinforcing ribs preferably define a central cavity located at least partially in the central region. When viewed from the main extension plane, the two reinforcing ribs particularly form an angle of at least 45°, preferably at least 65°, and particularly preferably at least 85°. When viewed from the main extension plane, the two reinforcing ribs particularly form an angle of up to 125°, preferably up to 105°, and particularly preferably up to 85°. Preferably, additional reinforcing ribs of the main body extend parallel to each other when viewed from the main extension plane. Preferably, a connecting bridge device having high bending rigidity may be provided.

The at least one connection unit is disposed in at least one shaft body formed differently from the central portion. The axle preferably comprises at least two connection units, and at least one connection unit is disposed in each of the at least one shaft body formed differently from the central portion. Preferably, the shaft bodies formed differently from the central portion, in particular the connection units, are symmetrically disposed around the central portion along the axle. Preferably, the connection units are provided for coupling with the axle fixing unit of the connection bridge device. In particular, the connection unit forms a screw connection point for screw-fixing the connection bridge device to the shaft body formed differently from the central portion. Preferably, secure, low-wear fixing of the connection bridge device to the axle may be possible.

[0018] Additionally, a configuration is proposed in which the axle is formed as an electric axle and the central portion comprises at least one drive unit. In particular, the axle is provided to particularly rotate and drive vehicle wheels connected to the axle. The central portion forms at least partially a drive unit housing to accommodate at least one drive unit. The drive unit comprises, in particular, at least one electric motor, preferably at least two electric motors. Alternatively or additionally, a configuration may be conceived in which the drive unit comprises at least one hydraulic drive unit, at least one pneumatic drive unit, at least one internal combustion engine, or another drive unit that appears useful to a person skilled in the art. The drive unit may include additional components that appear useful to a person skilled in the art, such as, for example, a differential, a gearbox, a transmission, etc. The central portion is positioned along the axle in the center between at least two shaft bodies formed differently from this central portion, and is particularly coupled with the shaft bodies. The shaft bodies formed differently from the central portion particularly form at least partially a housing for a torque transmission unit. Preferably, the shaft bodies formed differently from the central portion are formed similarly to one another. Preferably, the power axle can be used reliably with minimal wear through a multi-point linkage.

[0019] Additionally, a configuration is proposed in which the connection system comprises at least one multi-point link, in particular a three-point link or a four-point link. As an alternative to the configuration as a three-point link or a four-point link, the multi-point link may also be formed as a disassembled triangular link.
