[0057] FIG. 4a is an exploded perspective view of an electronic device according to one embodiment, FIG. 4b is an enlarged perspective view of area A of FIG. 4a, FIG. 4c is a perspective view of a housing according to one embodiment, FIG. 4d is a perspective view of a side frame according to one embodiment, FIG. 4e is a perspective view of a band according to one embodiment, FIG. 4f is a perspective view showing the combined state of the side frame and the band according to one embodiment, and FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a first fixed part according to one embodiment.

[0058] Referring to FIGS. 4a through 4f, an electronic device (400) according to one embodiment (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, the electronic device (200) of FIG. 2a, or the electronic device (300) of FIG. 3) may be a wearable electronic device that can be worn on a user's body. For example, the electronic device (400) may be a smart watch that is worn on a user's wrist.

[0059] In one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may include a housing (41) in which a component is received, a band (450, 460) which is detachably fastened to the housing (41) and detachably fastens the electronic device (400) to a user's body, e.g., wrist, and a fastening part (470, 480) for fixing the fastening state of the housing (41) and the band (450, 460). In one embodiment, the electronic device (400) can reduce the space occupied by the fastening structure by forming a fastening structure required for fastening the housing (41) and the band (450, 460) to correspond to the shape of the housing (41).

[0060] In one embodiment, the housing (41) may include a front plate (401), a rear plate (490), and a side frame (410).

[0061] In one embodiment, the front plate (401) may form a first surface (or front) (e.g., the first surface (210A) of FIG. 2a) that is exposed to the outside of the housing (41). The rear plate (490) may form a second surface (or rear) (e.g., the second surface (210B) of FIG. 2a) that is exposed to the outside of the housing (41). In this case, the front plate (401) and the rear plate (490) may be spaced apart from each other to form an internal space between them. When viewed from the direction of the front plate (401) (e.g., the Z-axis direction of FIG. 4a), the front plate (401) and the rear plate (490) may be formed in a circular shape having the same central axis (O).

[0062] In one embodiment, the side frame (410) may surround the internal space between the front plate (401) and the rear plate (490) along a circumferential direction based on the central axis (O) of the front plate (401) and the rear plate (490). When viewed from the direction of the front plate (401) (e.g., the Z-axis direction in FIG. 4d), the side frame (410) may form a ring shape with the central axis (O) as the origin. The side frame (410) may include an outer surface (411) exposed to the outside and an inner surface (412) facing the internal space between the front plate (401) and the rear plate (490). The side frame (410) may include a connecting slot (413) formed concavely in the outer surface (411). The connecting slot (413) may be formed stepped toward the inner surface (412) of the side frame (410). In one embodiment, the connecting slot (413) may include a first connecting slot (413) and a second connecting slot (413') formed on two different parts of the outer surface (411) of the side frame (410). In this case, the first connecting slot (413) and the second connecting slot (413') may be formed in directions symmetrical with respect to the center axis (e.g., the X-axis direction and the -X-axis direction in FIG. 4c) based on the view from the front plate (401) direction (e.g., the Z-axis direction in FIG. 4a).

[0063] In one embodiment, the side frame (410) may include a first fastening hole (414) and a second fastening hole (415) into which the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472), described later, are inserted. The first fastening hole (414) and the second fastening hole (415) are formed between the inner surface (412) and the outer surface (411) of the side frame (410) and may be connected to a connection slot (413). For example, the first fastening hole (414) and the second fastening hole (415) may be formed by penetrating the inner surface of the connection slot (413). In this case, the first fastening hole (414) may be formed along the first fastening direction (L1), and the second fastening hole (415) may be formed along the second fastening direction (L2). In one embodiment, the side frame (410) may include a pair of first fastening holes (414, 414') and second fastening holes (415, 415') that are respectively connected to a first connecting slot (413) and a second connecting slot (413').

[0064] The band (450, 460) is detachably connected to the housing (41) and can be worn on the user's body. In one embodiment, the band (450, 460) may include a connecting portion (451, 461) detachably connected to the housing (41), for example, a side frame (410), and a fastening portion (452, 461) extending along the longitudinal direction from the connecting portion (451, 461) and wrapped around the user's body. In one embodiment, the band (450, 460) may be provided as a pair comprising a first band (450) and a second band (460). The first band (450) and the second band (460) may each be fastened to different parts of the housing (41) through their respective connecting portions (451, 461). The first band (450) and the second band (460) can secure the electronic device (400) to the user's body by being connected to each other through their respective attachment parts (452, 461) while attached to the user's body.

[0065] In one embodiment, the band (450, 460) may be connected to the side frame (410) through a connecting portion (451, 461). For example, at least a portion of the connecting portion (451, 461) may be inserted into a connecting slot (413, 413') formed on the outer surface (411) of the side frame (410) along an insertion direction (G1) extending from the outer surface (411) of the side frame toward the inner surface (412). In this case, the insertion direction (G1) in which the connecting portion (451, 461) is inserted into the connecting slot (413) may be parallel to the longitudinal direction in which the fastening portion (452, 461) extends from the connecting portion (451, 461). Hereinafter, the direction in which the connecting portion (451, 461) is inserted into the connecting slot (413, 413') will be referred to as the insertion direction (G1). In one embodiment, the connecting slot (413, 413') and the connecting part (451, 461) may be formed in a shape that interlocks with each other. For example, the connecting slot (413) may include a curved shape along the circumferential direction of the side frame (410) as shown in FIG. 4d, and the end of the connecting part (451, 461) may include a corresponding curved surface of the connecting slot (413) as shown in FIG. 4e. According to this structure, when the connecting part (451, 461) is fully inserted into the connecting slot (413), the end of the connecting part (451, 461) and the bottom surface of the connecting slot (413) are in contact with each other, and since the gap between the connecting slot (413) and the connecting part (451, 461) is minimized, the connecting part (451, 461) can be stably inserted into the connecting slot (413).

[0066] In one embodiment, the first band (450) may be fastened to the first connection slot (413), and the second band (460) may be fastened to the second connection slot (413'). The connecting portions (451, 461) of the first band (450) and the second band (460), respectively, may be inserted into the first connection slot (413) and the second connection slot (413'), respectively. When the first connecting slot (413) and the second connecting slot (413') are formed at points symmetrical with respect to the central axis (O) of the side frame (410), the insertion direction (G1) in which the connecting portion (451, 461) of the first band (450) is inserted into the first connecting slot (413) and the respective insertion direction (G1) in which the connecting portion (451, 461) of the second band (460) is inserted into the second connecting slot (413') may face opposite directions. According to this structure, the first band (450) and the second band (460), while connected to the side frame (410), have length directions extending in opposite directions with the housing (41) in between, so they can be easily wrapped around and fastened to the user's body.

[0067] The fastening portions (470, 480) can fix the connecting portions (451, 461) to the housing (41). In one embodiment, the fastening portions (470, 480) may include a first fastening portion (470) that fixes the connecting portion (451) of the first band (450) to the housing (41), and a second fastening portion that fixes the connecting portion (461) of the second band (460) to the housing (41). Hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, the connection structure of the bands (450, 460) to the housing (41) will be described with a focus on the fastening structure of the first band (450) and the housing (41).

[0068] The fastening portion (470) can prevent the connecting portion (451) from detaching from the connecting slot (413) by fixing the connection state of the connecting portion (451) to the side frame (410) while the connecting portion (451) is inserted into the connecting slot (413). In one embodiment, the fastening portion (470) can be connected by penetrating the side frame (410) and the connecting portion (451) along the fastening direction (L1, L2). The fastening direction may be inclined with respect to the insertion direction (G1) when viewed from the front plate (401) (e.g., when viewed from the Z-axis direction of FIG. 4b).

[0069] In one embodiment, the fastening portion (470) can connect the side frame (410) and the connecting portion (451) in a first fastening direction (L1) and a second fastening direction (L2) that are inclined toward the insertion direction (G1) with respect to the direction facing the front plate (401). In this case, the first fastening direction (L1) and the second fastening direction (L2) may face opposite sides with respect to the insertion direction (G1). For example, with respect to the state facing the front plate (401), the first fastening direction (L1) and the second fastening direction (L2) may form substantially the same angle with respect to the insertion direction (G1). However, this is merely an example, and the first fastening direction (L1) and the second fastening direction (L2) may form different angles with respect to the insertion direction (G1).

[0070] In one embodiment, the fastening portion (470) may include a first fastening pin (471) that connects the side frame (410) and the connecting portion (451) in a first fastening direction (L1), and a second fastening pin (472) that connects the side frame (410) and the connecting portion (451) in a second fastening direction (L2). Each of the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) may connect the side frame (410) and the connecting portion (451) by penetrating them while the connecting portion (451) is inserted into the connecting slot (413) of the side frame (410). In one embodiment, at least a portion of the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) may be inserted and fixed in the connecting portion (451), and the ends may protrude outside the connecting portion (451). For example, the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) may have one end (4711, 4721) protruding through the surface portion of the connecting part (451) that contacts the inner surface (412) of the connecting slot (413). In this case, with the connecting part (451) inserted into the connecting slot (413), the one end (4711) of the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) can be inserted into the inner side of the side frame (410) through the connecting slot (413), thereby connecting the connecting part (451) and the side frame (410). In one embodiment, the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) may be fixed to the connecting part (451). For example, the connecting portion (451) may include a first fixing portion (4531) into which at least a portion of the first fastening pin (471) is inserted, and a second fixing portion (4532) into which at least a portion of the second fastening pin (472) is inserted. In this case, an opening (4533) communicating with the first fixing portion (4531) may be formed on the surface of the connecting portion (451). The opening (4533) will be described later. The first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) are inserted and fixed into the connecting portion (451) through the first fixing portion (4531) and the second fixing portion (4532), and one end (4711, 4721) may protrude to the outside of the connecting portion (451).In one embodiment, the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) may be directly inserted and connected to the first fixing part (4531) and the second fixing part (4532), but this is merely an example, and the method of inserting and fixing the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) to the connecting part (451) is not limited. For example, the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) may be integrally connected through an insert injection molding process during the manufacturing process of the band (450).

[0071] In one embodiment, one end (4711) of the first fastening pin (471) may protrude outward from the connecting part (451) along the first protrusion direction (D1), and one end (4721) of the second fastening pin (472) may protrude outward from the connecting part (451) along the second protrusion direction (D2). The first protrusion direction (D1) and the second protrusion direction (D2) may be inclined with respect to the insertion direction (G1) of the connecting part (451) with respect to the connecting slot (413), that is, inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the fastening part (452). In this case, when the connecting part (451) is inserted into the connecting slot (413), the first protrusion direction (D1) and the second protrusion direction (D2) may correspond to the first fastening direction (L1) and the second fastening direction (L2), respectively. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 4f, when the connecting part (451) is inserted into the connecting slot (413), the end portion (4711) of the first connecting pin (471) protruding along the first protruding direction is inserted into the first connecting hole (414), and the end portion (4721) of the second connecting pin (472) protruding along the second protruding direction is inserted into the second connecting hole (415), thereby fixing the connection state of the connecting part (451) and the side frame (410).

[0072] Meanwhile, for convenience of explanation, the description above focused on a structure in which the first fastening part (470) fixes the connection state between the connection part (451) and the side frame (410) while the connection part (451) of the first band (450) is inserted into the first connection slot (413). Similarly, the second fastening part (480) includes a first fastening pin (481) and a second fastening pin (482) that fix the connection state between the connection part (461) and the side frame (410) while the connection part (461) of the second band (460) is inserted into the second connection slot (413'). The first fastening pin (481) and the second fastening pin (482) are inserted into the first fastening hole (414') and the second fastening hole (415') formed in the second connection slot (413'), thereby performing the same method as the first fastening part (470). The connection state of the second band (460) and the side frame (410) can be fixed. In one embodiment, the fastening direction in which the fastening part (470, 480) connects the side frame (410) and the connecting part (451, 461) may be tangent to a virtual circle centered on a central axis (0) penetrating the front plate (401) and the rear plate (490). For example, as shown in FIG. 4d, with respect to the central axis direction (e.g., the Z-axis direction in FIG. 4d), the inner surface (412) of the side frame (410) may form a circle with a radius of r1, and the outer surface (411) of the side frame (410) may form a circle with a radius of r2. In this case, the first fastening direction (L1) formed by the first fastening hole (414) communicating with the first connecting slot (413) has the central axis (O) as the origin and a radius of r a The second fastening direction (L2) formed by the second fastening hole (415) is in contact with the circle, and has a radius r with the central axis (O) as the origin. b Can access the number of people. a and r b Each can have a length greater than r1 and less than r2. Likewise, the first fastening direction (L1') formed by the first fastening hole (414') communicating with the second connecting slot (413') has the center axis (O) as the origin and a radius ra The second fastening direction (L2') formed by the second fastening hole (415') which is in contact with the circle has the central axis (O) as the origin and a radius r b Can access the number of people. r a ' and r b ' can have a length greater than r1 and smaller than r2. In other words, the first fastening hole (414, 414') and the second fastening hole (415, 415') can be formed between the inner surface (412) and the outer surface (411) of the side frame.

[0073] In this case, with the connecting portion (451) of the band (450) inserted into the connecting slot (413), the end portions (4711, 4721) of the first connecting pin (471) and the second connecting pin (472), respectively, are inserted into the first connecting hole (414) and the second connecting hole (415) along the first connecting direction (L1) and the second connecting direction (L2), thereby fixing the connection state of the side frame (410) and the connecting portion (451).

[0074] According to this structure, the fastening part (470) fastens the side frame (410) and the band (450) in correspondence with the shape of the side frame (410) without a separate lug structure, thereby ensuring design diversity of the side frame (410). In addition, when the side frame (410) has a ring shape, the fastening part (470) fastens the band (450) and the side frame (410) in correspondence with the shape of the side frame (410), thereby minimizing the space occupied by the fastening structure in the electronic device (400).

[0075] Since the fastening portion (470) connects the band (450) to the housing (41) through the space between the inner surface (412) and the outer surface (411) of the side frame (410), the area occupied by the fastening structure in the internal space of the housing (41) can be eliminated. Therefore, the maximum mounting area in which a component can be accommodated in the internal space of the housing (41) can be secured.

[0076] In one embodiment, at least one of the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) may be movably connected to the connecting part (451) so that the protruding end portion (4711, 4721) can be received inside the connecting part (451). For example, the first fastening pin (471) may move inside the first fixing part (4531) so that the end portion (4711) may selectively protrude outside the first fixing part (4531). Hereinafter, the case in which the end portion (4711) of the first fastening pin (471) selectively protrudes outside the connecting part (451) will be described.

[0077] Referring to FIG. 5, a fastening part (470) according to one embodiment may include a cylinder (574) having a hollow (5741) disposed inside a first fixing part (4531) into which a first fastening pin (471) is slidably inserted, an elastic body (575) disposed inside the hollow (5741) and applying elastic force to the first fastening pin (471), and a trigger (5731) connecting the elastic body (575) and the first fastening pin (471).

[0078] The cylinder (574) can be fixedly inserted into the first fixed portion (4531). The cylinder (574) may include a hollow (5741) formed along the first protruding direction (D1) while inserted into the first fixed portion (4531). A first fastening pin (471) can be slidably inserted into the hollow (5741) of the cylinder (574).

[0079] An elastic body (575) may be disposed inside the hollow (5741). The elastic body (575) may apply elastic force in a direction that pushes the first fastening pin (471) out of the connecting part (451) along the first protrusion direction (D1), so that the end of the first fastening pin (471) protrudes outside the first fixing part (4531). When no external force is applied to the elastic body (575), the end of the first fastening pin (471) may protrude outside the first fixing part (4531).

[0080] The trigger (5731) is positioned within the hollow (5741) and can connect the first fastening pin (471) and the elastic body (575). A portion of the surface of the trigger (5731) may protrude outside the cylinder (574). In this case, the protruding surface of the trigger (5731) may be positioned in an opening (4533) formed on the surface of the connecting part (451) and communicating with the first fixing part (4531). The opening (4533) may be formed along the sliding direction of the first fastening pin (471), that is, the first protrusion direction (D1). According to this structure, since the surface of the trigger (5731) protruding outside the cylinder (574) is exposed outside the connecting part (451) through the opening (4533), the first fastening pin (471) can be operated by a user to slide along the protrusion direction.

[0081] Meanwhile, FIG. 5 describes a configuration in which the first fastening pin (471) is moved through a cylinder (574), an elastic body (575), and a trigger (5731), but this is merely an example and it is noted that the configuration described in FIG. 5 can also be applied to moving the second fastening pin (472).

[0082] FIGS. 6A and 6B are drawings illustrating the process of a band being coupled to a side frame in an electronic device according to one embodiment.

[0083] Referring to FIGS. 6a and 6b, the process of the band (450) being fastened to the side frame (410) will be explained. In the state where the band (450) is separated from the side frame (410) as in FIG. 6a, the connecting part (451) needs to be inserted into the connecting slot (413) in order for the band (450) to be fastened to the side frame (410). In one embodiment, the first fastening pin (471) and the second fastening pin (472) are each inserted and fixed inside the connecting part (451), and the end portion (4711) of the first fastening pin (471) and the end portion (4721) of the second fastening pin (472) can each protrude outside the connecting part (451) along the first protrusion direction (D1) and the second protrusion direction (D2), respectively. In one embodiment, a first fastening hole (414) and a second fastening hole (415) may be formed on the inner side of the connection slot (413) in a first fastening direction (L1) and a second fastening direction (L2) that are inclined with respect to the insertion direction (G1) in which the connection part (451) is inserted into the connection slot (413).

[0084] In one embodiment, the connection slot (413) is formed to have a shape that engages with the end of the connection part (451). Therefore, in order for the connection part (451, 461) to be inserted into the connection slot (413), at least one of the first connection pin (471) and the second connection pin (472) must be received inside the connection part (451) so that the first connection pin (471) and the second connection pin (472) do not catch on the outer surface (411) of the side frame (410). For example, as shown in FIG. 6a, when the trigger (5731) is operated to be pulled inward toward the connection part (451), the elastic body (575) is compressed and the protruding end (4711) of the first connection pin (471) can be received inside the connection part (451, 461). In this case, the connecting portion (451, 461) can be inserted into the connecting slot (413) along the insertion direction (G1).

[0085] In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6b, when the connecting part (451) is inserted into the connecting slot (413), the first protrusion direction (D1) in which the end portion (4711) of the first connecting pin (471) protrudes coincides with the first connecting direction (L1), and the second protrusion direction (D2) in which the end portion (4721) of the second connecting pin (472) protrudes coincides with the second connecting direction (L2).
