Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a tablet stand, and more specifically, to a tablet stand having a structure that stably supports various display devices such as tablets, monitors, e-book readers, and portable screens, while allowing the screen angle to be adjusted at various angles according to the user's needs. Background Technology

[0002] In modern society, display devices such as tablet PCs, smartphones, portable monitors, e-book readers, and small screen devices have established themselves as indispensable tools for both individuals and businesses.

[0003] In particular, tablets have a wide range of applications, including viewing and editing documents in work environments, video conferencing, remote learning and electronic note-taking in educational settings, watching videos and playing games in the entertainment field, and drawing and graphic work for creative activities.

[0004] As such utility increases, the need for stands that support users in operating the screen more conveniently for extended periods is continuously growing.

[0005] Conventional tablet stands were often manufactured with simple structures. Generally, simple triangular stands that sit on a desk or clip-type mounting structures were commonly used; however, these conventional stands had the problem that it was difficult for users to make precise angle adjustments as desired.

[0006] Particularly in situations where a screen must be viewed for extended periods, a fixed angle often placed a strain on the neck, shoulders, and lower back because it failed to provide an optimal viewing angle based on the user's physical condition (height, sitting posture, desk height, etc.).

[0007] To solve this problem, some prior art has provided a rotatable structure. For example, products have been developed that allow the tilt of the tablet to be adjusted based on a rotation axis parallel to the ground.

[0008] However, this also had limitations, such as a limited range of rotation or weak locking mechanisms that caused the tablet to shake or the fixed angle to collapse during use. Furthermore, a rotation structure based on only one axis had limitations in meeting the multifaceted demands of various work environments.

[0009] In addition, the ability to freely switch between landscape and portrait modes is an important user requirement. Landscape mode is useful for watching videos, playing games, and video conferencing, while portrait mode is highly useful for viewing documents, reading e-books, web browsing, and graphic work.

[0010] However, many existing stands did not support landscape or portrait orientation switching, or required users to detach the tablet, change its direction, and reattach it, causing inconvenience. While some products adopted a rotatable clamp structure, intuitive and flexible operation was difficult due to limited rotational freedom or stable fixation only in specific positions.

[0011] Furthermore, recently, not only tablets but also screen devices of various sizes are widely used. Portable auxiliary monitors, mini projector screens, e-book readers, and small display panels need to be mounted in a manner similar to existing tablets.

[0012] However, existing stands are often designed to fit specific device specifications, leading to issues such as poor compatibility or reduced stability due to insufficient fixing force when other devices are mounted. In particular, as screen devices become increasingly larger and higher-performance, stands designed solely for tablets inevitably have a limited scope of application.

[0013] Furthermore, users utilize tablets and screen devices in various environments. For instance, they are placed on desks in offices for document work or video conferences, watched on sofas or in beds at home, and used to display lecture materials in educational settings. Despite this diversity of usage environments, existing stands were often optimized for specific settings, resulting in a lack of versatility. In particular, designs that did not consider mobility and convenience made them difficult to carry and caused inconvenience during installation and dismantling.

[0014] Therefore, to maximize user convenience, a new type of stand is required that enables various viewing angles through multi-axis rotation, allows for easy switching between landscape and portrait modes, and stably supports a variety of screen devices, including not only tablets but also monitors, e-readers, and small screen devices. In other words, there is an urgent technical need for a tablet stand that simultaneously possesses high compatibility, versatility, stable fixing power, and the ability to freely change angles and directions. [0082] The fixed handle (720) is rotatably received inside the housing (500) and is provided with a handle base (721) capable of pressing the fixed gear (710) toward the connecting part (300); a handle hole (722) formed to penetrate the center of the handle base (721) and provided to allow a part of the rotating gear (711) to pass through; a handle lever (723) protruding from the outer surface of the handle base (721) and exposed to the outside of the housing (500) so as to be gripped by a user; a handle gear (724) formed to protrude in a sawtooth shape along the circumference of the handle hole (722) on the rear surface of the handle base (721) and provided to be able to engage with the fastening gear (712) when the handle base (721) presses the fixed gear (710) toward the connecting part (300); and a handle gear (724) formed to protrude rearward from the handle base (721) and is provided with the handle base (721). It may include a handle elastic member (725) that provides elastic force in a direction away from the rear case (520), and a handle guide (726) that is formed to penetrate the handle base (721), extends along the circumferential direction, and has a part of the housing (500) inserted into it to limit the rotation angle of the handle base (721).

[0083] A tablet stand characterized by the fact that the tooth shape of the fastening gear (712) and the handle gear (724) has an angle of 15 degrees with respect to the protruding direction on one of the two sides. Through this, both forward and reverse rotation can be allowed when the fastening gear (712) and the handle gear (724) are coupled to each other. In addition, the fastening gear (712) and the handle gear (724) have the effect of being able to find a position where they are coupled even when they move adjacent to each other while not being coupled to each other.

[0084] Additionally, the front case (510) further includes a guide recess (515) formed on the outer surface of the front body (511) to expose the handle lever (723), and the guide recess (515) is formed such that the depth of the recess decreases along the circumference of the front body (511), so that when the handle lever moves along the guide recess (515), the handle base (721) can move backward toward the connection part.

[0085] Additionally, the front case (510) may further include a guide boss (514) that protrudes rearward from the front body (511) and is inserted into the handle guide (726), thereby limiting the rotation range of the handle base (721). The rotation range of the handle base (721) may be limited to 90 degrees by the guide boss (514). The handle guide (726) may be provided as a pair and each may be provided in a 90-degree circumferential shape.

[0086] Meanwhile, the gripping portion (600) may include a gripping grip (610) that contacts the side of the tablet, a gripping tooth (620) that extends from the gripping grip (610) toward the fixed gear (710), and a gripping guide (630) that extends from the gripping grip (610) in a direction parallel to the gripping tooth (620) but is spaced apart from each other.

[0087] The above gripping portion (600) may be composed of a first gripping body (601) that contacts one side of the tablet and a second gripping body (602) that contacts the other side of the tablet. The first gripping body (601) may contact the right side of the tablet and the second gripping body (602) may contact the left side of the tablet. The first gripping body (601) and the second gripping body (602) may be arranged symmetrically with respect to the fixed gear (710).

[0088] The gripping tooth (620) of the first gripping body (601) may be located on the upper side of the rotating gear (711), and the gripping guide (630) of the first gripping body (601) may be located on the lower side of the rotating gear (711). The gripping tooth (620) of the second gripping body (602) may be located on the lower side of the rotating gear (711), and the gripping guide (630) of the second gripping body (602) may be located on the upper side of the rotating gear (711). In this way, the description of the first gripping body (601) can be applied identically to the second gripping body (602), and the structural shapes may be formed symmetrically to each other.

[0089] The gripping tooth (620) may be positioned to mesh with the rotating gear (711). Additionally, the gripping tooth (620) and the gripping guide (630) may be inserted into or withdrawn from the front wing (512). When the gripping tooth (620) is withdrawn from the front wing (512), the rotating gear (711) may rotate in one direction. When the gripping tooth (620) is inserted into the front wing (512), the rotating gear (711) may rotate in the other direction. That is, the rotating gear (711) and the fixed gear (710) can always move in conjunction. In other words, when the fixed gear (710) is rotated by the fixed handle (720), the gripping part (600) may also move in the direction of insertion or withdrawal from the front wing (512).

[0090] Meanwhile, the gripping guide (630) may include a guide body (631) extending from the gripping grip (610) and a guide groove (632) formed by being recessed in the guide body (631). The guide groove (632) can accommodate a guide rail (516) protruding from the front body (511). Through this, the gripping part (600) has the effect of being able to move linearly within a limited path in the direction of being inserted or withdrawn from the front wing (512).

[0091] Meanwhile, the above-mentioned grip (610) may include a grip body (611) that contacts the tablet and a grip hole (612) formed through the grip body (611). A charging cable connected to the tablet may be fed through the grip hole (612).

[0092] Additionally, the rear case (520) may include a rear body (521) positioned on the rear of the front case (510) to form the rear of the housing (500), a rear hole (522) formed to penetrate the center of the rear body (521), a rear rib (523) formed to protrude from the front of the rear body (521) along the circumference of the rear hole (522), a rear tooth (524) formed on the inner circumference of the rear rib (523) to engage with the stop tooth (716), and a rear recess (525) formed by being recessed on the rear of the rear body (521) to be connected to a connecting part.

[0093] When the fixed gear (710) is moved backward by the fixed handle (720), the stop tooth (716) of the stop gear (713) and the rear tooth (524) may be engaged. When the stop tooth (716) and the rear tooth (524) are engaged, the unidirectional rotation of the fixed gear may be restricted. In particular, when the stop tooth (716) and the rear tooth (524) are engaged, the reduction of the tablet gripping pressure of the gripping part (600) by the rotation of the fixed gear (710) may be restricted. That is, the engagement of the rear tooth (524) and the stop tooth (716) has the effect of preventing the tablet from detaching from the gripping part (600).

[0094] The rear surface of the fastening gear (712) can be exposed to the rear through the rear hole (522). The user can press the fastening gear (712) exposed through the rear hole (522) forward. When the fastening gear (712) is pressed forward, the connection between the stop gear (713) and the rear gear (524) can be released. Accordingly, the fixed gear (710) can be allowed to rotate in both directions. Thus, there is an effect of being able to separate the tablet from the gripping part (600).

[0095] Meanwhile, the above-mentioned stop gear (713) may be provided as an elastic body formed of a radius arm (714) and a circumferential arm (715) as described above. Even if the stop gear (713) and the rear tooth (524) are engaged, when the stop gear (713) rotates in one direction, the stop gear (713) elastically deforms in the center direction, allowing the stop gear (713) to rotate relative to the rear tooth (524). On the other hand, when the stop gear (713) rotates in the other direction while the stop gear (713) and the rear tooth (524) are engaged, the stop gear (713) cannot elastically deform in the center direction, so the stop gear (713) cannot rotate relative to the rear tooth (524). Therefore, the rotation of the entire stop gear (710) in the other direction can be blocked.

[0096] Meanwhile, the base portion (200) is coupled to the support portion (100) and includes a base mount (210) forming the lower part of the base portion (200); a base body (220) which is rotatably coupled to the base mount (210) along the horizontal rotation axis (200s) and to which the connecting portion (300) is coupled at the front, and a base hinge (230) which rotatably connects the base mount (210) and the base body (220), and the relative angle between the base mount (210) and the base body (220) can be fixed.

[0097] That is, the base mount (210) and the base body (220) can perform the function of adjusting the vertical angle of the tablet. The user can fix the relative angle between the base mount (210) and the base body (220) at the desired angle, thereby enabling the user to view the tablet at the desired angle.

[0098] The base portion (200) further includes a base stopper (240) capable of fixing the angle between the base mount (210) and the base body (220); the base mount (210) includes a mount support (211) connected to the support portion (100) and a mount body (212) that extends upward from the mount support (211) and has a mount hole (213) formed therein that extends along the axial direction of the horizontal rotation axis; the base body (220) includes a base front body (221) coupled to the connecting portion and a base rotation body (222) that extends to the rear of the base front body (221) and has a base body hole (224) formed therein that communicates with the mount hole (213); and the base stopper (240) is supported by the mount support and is provided to be rotatable along the vertical rotation axis (100s) on the mount support. It may include a stopper lifting body (243) and a stopper body (241) formed to rise or fall according to the rotation of the stopper lifting body (243) and to limit the rotation of the base rotating body (222).

[0099] Additionally, a base stop tooth (223) is formed on one side of the base rotating body (222) facing the stopper body (241), and a stopper tooth (242) is formed on the stopper body (241) facing the base rotating body (222) to be coupled with the base stop tooth (223), and a stopper lifting surface (244) that contacts the stopper body (241) is formed on the inner circumference of the stopper lifting body (243), and when the stopper lifting body (243) rotates to a first position, the stopper body (241) rises so that the stopper tooth (242) and the base stop tooth (223) mesh, and when the stopper lifting body (243) rotates to a second position, the stopper body (241) lowers so that the The stopper tooth (242) and the base stop tooth (223) can be separated.

[0100] When the stopper gear (242) and the base stop gear (223) engage, the base body (220) can be prevented from rotating relative to the base mount (210). In other words, the vertical angle of the tablet can be fixed.

[0101] Meanwhile, a stopper friction member is formed on a stopper body (241) facing the base rotating body (222) to be able to contact the base rotating body (222), and a stopper lifting surface (244) that contacts the stopper body (241) is formed on the inner surface of the stopper lifting body (243). When the stopper lifting body (243) is rotated to a first position, the stopper body (241) rises so that the stopper friction member and the base rotating body (222) come into contact, and when the stopper lifting body (243) is rotated to a second position, the stopper body (241) descends so that the stopper friction member and the base rotating body (222) can be separated.

[0102] When the stopper lifting body (243) is positioned in the first position, the lower surface of the stopper body (241) can be supported at a high point (h1) of the stopper lifting surface (244). Accordingly, the stopper body (241) can rise toward the base body (220). On the other hand, when the stopper lifting body (243) is positioned in the second position, the lower surface of the stopper body (241) can be supported at a low point (h2) of the stopper lifting surface (244). Accordingly, the stopper body (241) can move downward in a direction away from the base body (220).

[0103] In addition to the aforementioned gear coupling structure, the rotation of the base rotating body (222) can be blocked by providing frictional force through a stopper friction member. This corresponds to an embodiment in which rotation is blocked by providing frictional force from the outside of the rotating body.

[0104] Additionally, the base mount (210) may further include a mount passage (214) formed to penetrate the mount support (211) and the mount body (212) simultaneously, so that the wire connected to the tablet is positioned to avoid the base hinge (230). Through this, a space is provided for the wire connected to the tablet to be positioned despite the rotation of each component, thereby effectively solving the problem of the wire becoming twisted or disconnected.

[0105] The base mount (210) comprises a mount support (211) connected to the support member (100) and a mount body (212) that extends upward from the mount support (211) and has a mount hole (213) formed therein that extends along the axial direction of the horizontal rotation axis (200s); the base body (220) comprises a base front body (221) coupled to the connecting member (300) and a base rotation body (222) that extends to the rear of the base front body (221) and has a base body hole (224) formed therein that communicates with the mount hole (213); and the base hinge (230) comprises a hinge body (231) positioned to pass through the mount hole (213) and the base body hole (224), and a hinge body (231) positioned on the outer surface of the hinge body (231) and connected to the mount body (212) and the base rotation body (222). It may include a hinge friction member (232) that is provided to be in contact and provides frictional force to the mount body (212) and the base rotation body (222) to limit the rotation of the base rotation body (222).

[0106] A stopper lifting handle (245) protruding from the outer side of the stopper lifting body (243) may be formed. A user can rotate the stopper lifting body (243) by gripping the stopper lifting handle (245).

[0107] In addition to the aforementioned gear coupling structure, the rotation of the base rotating body (222) can be blocked by providing frictional force through the hinge friction member (232). This corresponds to an embodiment in which rotation is blocked by providing frictional force from the inside of the rotating body.

[0108] Meanwhile, the base body (220) may further include a base connecting boss (225) and a base blocking boss (226) protruding from the base front body (221). The base connecting boss (225) can rotatably support the connecting part (300). Meanwhile, the base blocking boss (226) can be inserted into the connecting part (300) to perform the function of blocking the rotation angle of the connecting part (300).

[0109] Additionally, the connecting part (300) may include a connecting housing (310) that is open at the front and forms an internal receiving space and is rotatably provided about the base part (200) around the mounting rotation axis (300s), a connecting cover (320) that covers the open front of the connecting housing (310) and to which the mounting part is connected, and a connecting fixing part (330) that is received inside the connecting housing (310) and fixes the rotation angle of the connecting housing (310).

[0111] Additionally, the connection fixing part (330) includes a fixing body (331) that is positioned inside the connection rib (313) and fixed to the base part (200), and a fixing sensing projection (332) formed on the outer surface of the fixing body (331), which is elastically deformed in the radial direction of the fixing body (331) and fits into the connection recess (314). The connection recess (314) is provided in multiple numbers, and adjacent connection recesses (314) can be arranged on the connection rib (313) at 90-degree intervals.

[0112] When the above-mentioned fixed sensory projection (332) is detached from the above-mentioned connecting recess (314), it moves toward the center of the fixed body (331), and when it is positioned in the above-mentioned connecting recess (314), it moves toward the outer center of the fixed body (331) and can be fitted into the connecting recess (314). At this time, the user can perceive that the fixed body (331) is positioned in the correct position through a change in elastic force.

[0113] The above connection points (314) are arranged at 90-degree intervals, which has the effect of allowing the tablet to be positioned in horizontal or vertical mode.

[0114] The above connecting bearing (312) can be rotatably supported on the base connecting boss (225). That is, the connecting bearing (312) can be positioned to surround the base connecting boss (225). Additionally, the base blocking boss (226) can be inserted into the connecting guide (315). Thus, the base blocking boss (226) can perform the function of restricting the rotation of the connecting part (300).

[0115] Meanwhile, the connecting part (300) is coupled to the connecting housing (310) and the connecting cover (320) and further includes a connecting button (340) that separates the mounting part (400) from the connecting cover (320); the connecting housing (310) further includes a connecting support (316) that extends forward from the connecting body (311) to support the connecting button (340), and a connecting exposure hole (317) in which the upper side of the connecting body is open so that the connecting button is exposed upward; the connecting cover (320) is provided with a cover body (321) that covers the open front of the connecting housing (310), a cover recess (322) formed in the cover body (321) to which the mounting part (400) is coupled, and is elastically movable in the front and rear directions on the cover body (321), and when the connecting button (340) moves downward, to the rear It may include a cover elastic member (323) that retracts and limits the mounting portion coupled to the cover recess (322) from being separated from the cover recess (322).

[0116] Additionally, the connection button (340) includes a button body (341) that is exposed to the connection exposure hole (317) and extends downward, a button hole (342) formed to penetrate the lower part of the button body (341), and a button elastic member (343) that extends to both sides from the button body (341) and is supported by the connection rib (313), and provides an upward elastic force when the button body (341) is pressed downward. Claim 6 In claim 5, the fixed handle (720) is rotatably received inside the housing (500) and is provided with a handle base (721) capable of pressing the fixed gear (710) toward the connecting part (300); a handle hole (722) formed to penetrate the center of the handle base (721) and provided to allow a part of the rotating gear (711) to pass through; a handle lever (723) protruding from the outer surface of the handle base (721), exposed to the outside of the housing (500), and provided to be gripped by a user; a handle tooth (724) formed to protrude in a sawtooth shape along the circumference of the handle hole (722) on the rear surface of the handle base (721) and provided to be engaged with the fastening tooth (712) when the handle base (721) presses the fixed gear (710) toward the connecting part (300); and a handle tooth (724) formed to protrude rearward from the handle base (721) and is provided to be engaged with the fastening tooth (712). A tablet holder characterized by comprising: a handle elastic member (725) that provides elastic force to the handle base (721) in a direction away from the rear case (520); and a handle guide (726) formed to penetrate the handle base (721), extending along the circumferential direction, into which a part of the housing (500) is inserted to limit the rotation angle of the handle base (721). Claim 7 A tablet stand according to claim 6, characterized in that the tooth shape of the fastening tooth (712) and the handle tooth (724) has an angle of 15 degrees with respect to the protruding direction on one of the two sides. Claim 8 In claim 7, the front case (510) further includes a guide recess (515) formed on the outer surface of the front body (511) to expose the handle lever (723), and the guide recess (515) is formed such that the depth of the recess decreases along the circumference of the front body (511), so that when the handle lever moves along the guide recess (515), the handle base (721) moves backward toward the connection part. Claim 9 A tablet stand according to claim 8, wherein the front case (510) protrudes rearward from the front body (511) and is inserted into the handle guide (726), and further includes a guide boss (514) that limits the rotation range of the handle base (721).
