Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The following embodiments relate to a monitor bracket structure with improved orientation, installation convenience, and durability, which allows the monitor to be fixed to a mounting target while stably changing the position or orientation of the monitor, and improves installation convenience during the mounting process, fixation stability after mounting, and durability over long-term use. Background Technology
[0002] Due to recent advancements in display technology, monitors are rapidly becoming larger and heavier (e.g., large curved monitors). Conventional monitor bracket or arm structures supported the load of the monitor primarily by relying on the tension of built-in gas springs or the tightening force of friction screws fastened to the joints.
[0003] However, with this conventional technology, the monitor frequently sagged downwards due to cylinder pressure loss in the gas spring during long-term use, and there was the inconvenience of having to manually readjust the tightening torque of the joint using external tools such as a hex wrench whenever a monitor of various weights was mounted.
[0004] In addition, when mounting a heavy monitor onto a bracket, the user must hold the heavy monitor directly to align the VESA mount holes and tighten the screws, making single-person installation very difficult and posing a high risk of falling. Furthermore, some mechanical one-touch coupling structures introduced for installation convenience had limitations, such as vulnerability to vibration or insufficient precise fastening force, as play in the coupling area occurred when parts wore out. Prior art literature
[0005] (Patent Document 0001) KR 10-2774138 B (Patent Document 0002) KR 10-2907040 B (Patent Document 0003) KR 10-2483182 B The problem to be solved
[0006] The problem that an embodiment of the present invention aims to solve is to provide a monitor bracket structure with improved directional change and installation convenience and durability, which overcomes the limitations of conventional mounting methods requiring external tools and the inconvenience of manual torque adjustment as described above, wherein the rotational resistance torque of the joint part is mechanically and automatically amplified in proportion to the self-weight of the mounted monitor, and irreversible mechanical fastening is guaranteed even in the event of power loss through an auto-docking mechanism based on a shape memory alloy. means of solving the problem
[0007] According to one embodiment, a monitor bracket structure with improved convenience of direction switching and installation and durability is provided, comprising: a fixing part fixed to an installation target; a direction switching part rotatably connected to the fixing part and having at least one rotation axis to change the position or posture of the monitor; a mounting part connected to the direction switching part and coupled to the back surface of the monitor or a monitor mounting plate; an installation assist part that guides the mounting position of the monitor during the process of the monitor or the monitor mounting plate being seated on the mounting part and fixes the monitor or the monitor mounting plate at the completed mounting position; and a load-responsive support part that varies the rotational resistance or support force of the direction switching part based on at least one of the load of the monitor, the rotational position of the direction switching part and the coupling state of the mounting part.

[0011] In addition, the friction disc comprises: at least one axial friction disc coupled to a rotation axis to rotate in conjunction with the rotation axis; The device may be configured to include at least one fixed-side friction disc coupled to the fixed-side housing of the direction changer, wherein the axial-side friction disc and the fixed-side friction disc are alternately arranged along the axial direction of the rotation axis, and the axial-side friction disc is coupled to rotate together with the rotation axis through at least one of a non-circular through hole, a keyway, a spline groove, and a coupling projection corresponding to the outer circumference shape of the rotation axis, and the fixed-side friction disc is configured such that rotation relative to the fixed-side housing is restricted by inserting a fixing tab or fixing projection formed on the outer circumference into a fixing groove formed in the fixed-side housing, and when the wedge-shaped pressure block advances by the eccentric cam member, the axial-side friction disc and the fixed-side friction disc are axially compressed against each other through the wedge-shaped pressure block and the Belleville spring member, and the rotational resistance torque of the rotation axis is increased by the frictional force generated between the opposing surfaces of the axial-side friction disc and the fixed-side friction disc. Effects of the invention
[0012] According to one embodiment, when a monitor is mounted, the mounting position is automatically guided and fixed, and at the same time, the rotational resistance of the joint part is varied based on the load or coupling state of the monitor, thereby preventing sagging of the monitor and securing stable support without separate manual operation.
[0013] In addition, tool-free one-touch automatic installation is possible by simultaneously operating multiple fastening pins from multiple directions using shape memory alloy drive wires and synchronization link plates. In particular, by applying an overcenter toggle mechanism, the monitor's connection state is mechanically maintained perfectly even in emergency situations where the power supply is cut off, thereby fundamentally preventing drop accidents.
[0014] In addition, the vertical load of the mounted monitor is converted into a phase change of the logarithmic spiral eccentric cam and the forward movement of the wedge-shaped pressure block to compress the friction disc, so the supporting force becomes non-linearly stronger as the heavy monitor is mounted, ensuring long-term durability, and the sudden return shock (reverse shock) of the slider that occurs when the monitor is removed is smoothly dampened through a micro hydraulic damper, thereby preventing injury to the worker and damage to the equipment.
[0015] In addition, through multi-stage guide sections with varying entry widths, the user can push the monitor into an approximate position, but the connection center will automatically find and be precisely guided, thereby maximizing the convenience of single-person installation of large monitors. Furthermore, it provides intuitive confirmation of the connection completion status through a lock indicator slider and a forced emergency release function through a fail-safe manual release hole, which can significantly improve the reliability of maintenance in the event of a device failure.
[0016] In addition, by adopting a structure in which multiple friction discs alternately arranged on the rotation axis and the fixed-side housing are uniformly compressed axially through the elastic force of the Belleville spring, a massive rotational friction torque is stably generated even within a limited joint space, enabling smooth and robust support for fine directional changes of ultra-heavy monitors without loosening. [0032] The features of each of the various embodiments of the present invention may be combined or combined with one another, either partially or wholly, and as will be fully understood by those skilled in the art, various technical interlocking and operation are possible, and each embodiment may be implemented independently of one another or together in an interlocking relationship.
[0033] According to one embodiment, a monitor bracket structure with improved convenience of direction change and installation and durability, and a monitor arm device including the bracket structure are provided, comprising: a fixing part (1) fixed to an installation target; a direction change part (2) rotatably connected to the fixing part (1) and having at least one rotation axis (20) to change the position or posture of the monitor; a mounting part (3) connected to the direction change part (2) and coupled to the back of the monitor or a monitor mounting plate (5); an installation assist part (4) that guides the mounting position of the monitor during the process of the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) being seated on the mounting part (3) and fixes the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) at the completed mounting position; and a load-corresponding support part that varies the rotational resistance or support force of the direction change part (2) based on at least one of the load of the monitor, the rotational position of the direction change part (2), and the coupling state of the mounting part (3).
[0034] The installation target may refer to a physical support to which the bracket structure is fixed. For example, the installation target may be any one of the following: a desk top, desk side, wall, partition frame, support post, equipment housing, driver's seat frame of a vehicle or ship, medical cart, industrial control panel, control room console, ship's wheelhouse, offshore plant, or an industrial rack in a disaster control center where multiple displays are concentrated, where the user intends to place the monitor. The installation target is sufficient as a structure capable of supporting the self-weight of the monitor and external forces generated during the user's directional operation, and is not limited to a specific material, size, or shape.
[0035] The fixing part (1) is configured to be fixed directly or indirectly to the installation target to form a reference support point for the entire bracket structure. The fixing part (1) may be coupled to a physical base in the external environment so that the entire bracket structure can be supported without shaking, and may be fixed to the installation target in at least one of screw fastening, clamp fastening, anchor fastening, bolt fastening, snap fastening, rail fastening, or adhesive auxiliary fastening. For example, the fixing part (1) may be implemented in the form of a clamp that grips and fixes the edge of a desk top, a grommet that is fastened by penetrating a hole formed in the desk top, a wall mount that is bolted to a wall, or a ring clamp or sleeve that wraps around the outer circumference of a pipe or support post.
[0036] The fixed part (1) can function as a reference member to which the direction changing part (2) is rotatably connected. To this end, the fixed part (1) may be formed with an axle hole supporting a hinge shaft, a fastening bracket for connecting a rotating arm, an axle fixing part (1) preventing the rotation shaft (20) from coming off, or a stopper structure that limits the rotation range of the direction changing part (2). Additionally, the fixed part (1) may include a metal plate, a reinforcing rib, a bent flange, or a multi-layer reinforcing plate so that the load of the monitor is stably transmitted to the installation target, and a vibration damping pad, an anti-slip pad, or a surface damage prevention pad may be placed on the contact surface with the installation target.
[0037] The direction changing unit (2) is configured to be rotatably connected to the fixed unit (1) to change the position or orientation of the monitor. The direction changing unit (2) can provide mechanical movement to allow the monitor to be freely steered according to the viewing angle and working environment desired by the user. For example, the direction changing unit (2) may be configured to perform at least one of a tilt operation to tilt the monitor's screen direction up and down, a swivel operation to rotate left and right, a pivot operation to rotate between a horizontal screen and a vertical screen, or an arm rotation operation to move the monitor in the forward / backward or up / down direction.
[0038] The rotation axis (20) is a component that forms the rotation center of the direction change unit (2) and can be positioned as a horizontal axis, a vertical axis, or a front-back axis depending on the direction of change of the monitor's posture. For example, the rotation axis (20) for tilt operation can be extended in the left-right direction of the monitor to adjust the elevation and depression angles of the monitor, the rotation axis (20) for swivel operation can be extended in the up-down direction to adjust the left-right viewing angle of the monitor, and the rotation axis (20) for pivot operation can be extended in the front-back direction relative to the center of the monitor screen to rotate the monitor between horizontal mode and vertical mode. The rotation axis (20) may be composed of a single axis member, or may be composed of an assembly combined with a rotation pin, a bearing, a bushing, a washer, a friction plate, a stopper member, or a torque adjustment member.
[0039] The direction changing unit (2) can be implemented not only as a single joint structure, but also as a multi-joint link structure in which multiple arm members are connected by a hinge. For example, the direction changing unit (2) may include a first arm connected to a fixed unit (1), a second arm rotatably connected to the first arm, a hinge connecting a mounting unit (3) disposed at the end of the second arm, or a link arm that adjusts the height and front-back position of the monitor. Accordingly, the direction changing unit (2) can perform not only simple angle changes, but also front-back depth movement of the monitor, vertical height adjustment, left-right position adjustment, or complex posture adjustment in multiple directions.
[0040] The direction changer (2) can provide a constant rotational resistance so that it does not sag arbitrarily due to the weight of the monitor while rotating around the rotation axis (20). Here, the rotational resistance may refer to a frictional force, elastic force, compressive force, or braking force that opposes the movement of the direction changer (2) to rotate. The rotational resistance is set to allow for direction change when the user operates the monitor, and is set to allow the monitor to maintain its current position or current posture after the user lets go.
[0041] The mounting part (3) is configured to be connected to the direction changing part (2) and coupled to the back of the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5). The mounting part (3) can function as a final interface that physically connects a bracket structure performing mechanical steering and a monitor body outputting a display screen. The mounting part (3) can directly support the monitor or receive and support a monitor mounting plate (5) that is pre-fastened to the back of the monitor, and can be formed in any one of the following forms: a plate-type plate, a box-type housing, a socket-type receiving part, a rail-type coupling part, or a hook-type coupling part.
[0042] The monitor mounting plate (5) may refer to a separate intermediate member that is coupled to the back surface of the monitor and connected to the mounting portion (3). For example, the monitor mounting plate (5) may be screw-fastened to the back surface of the monitor using a fastening hole of the Video Electronics Standards Committee standard, and the mounting portion (3) may have a receiving groove, guide rail, a structure corresponding to the fastening groove, or a structure receiving a locking pin formed therein for inserting or seating the monitor mounting plate (5). However, the bracket structure does not necessarily require a separate monitor mounting plate (5), and may also include a structure in which a fastening portion formed on the back surface of the monitor itself is directly connected to the mounting portion (3).
[0043] The mounting part (3) may be implemented in the form of a detachable socket or housing that accommodates and secures a monitor mounting plate (5) that is pre-attached to the monitor, in order to increase assembly convenience and equipment maintenance efficiency. In this case, the user can attach the monitor to the bracket structure by first attaching the monitor mounting plate (5) to the back of the monitor and then inserting or seating the monitor mounting plate (5) into the mounting part (3). Accordingly, even if the bracket structure is installed in a location that is difficult to access, such as a wall or the back of a desk, the mounting and unmounting of the monitor can be easily performed.
[0044] The mounting portion (3) may include a reference structure that guides the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) to reach a predetermined mounting reference position. For example, the mounting portion (3) may have a side wall that limits the left and right position of the monitor mounting plate (5), a stopper that limits the up and down position, a stopper that limits the insertion depth, a fastening groove alignment portion corresponding to a fastening pin (47), or a contact portion that detects the mounting completion position. Accordingly, positional error is reduced during the process of inserting or seating the monitor into the mounting portion (3), and fastening stability can be ensured at the mounting completion position.
[0045] The installation aid (4) is configured to guide the mounting position of the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) during the process of the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) being seated on the mounting part (3), and to fix the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) at the completed mounting position. The installation aid (4) can reduce the physical burden on the user when mounting a large monitor that is heavy and bulky, and can guide the monitor mounting plate (5) to be accurately coupled to the mounting part (3). For example, when the user roughly pushes the monitor near the mounting part (3), the installation aid (4) can guide the monitor mounting plate (5) to move to the accurate center point of fastening through a mechanical inclined surface or a guide structure.
[0046] The installation aid (4) can perform both a position guidance function and a fixing function. The position guidance function is a function that guides the insertion trajectory of the monitor mounting plate (5) toward the fastening center of the mounting part (3), and the fixing function may be a function that mechanically restrains the monitor mounting plate (5) to the mounting part (3) at the completed mounting position. For example, the installation aid (4) may include at least one of a tapered guide rail (44), a guide groove, a catch, a fastening pin (47), a locking lever, an elastic latch, a toggle link, a display slider, or a manual release part.
[0047] Fixing means that when the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) reaches the mounting completion position, a mechanical catch, fastening pin (47), latch, or toggle structure operates to secure the monitor so that it does not detach in the reverse direction without the need for separate external tool operation or screw fastening process. For example, the installation aid (4) can secure the monitor mounting plate (5) to the mounting part (3) by advancing the fastening pin (47) into the fastening groove at the mounting completion position, moving the locking lever to the locking position, or engaging the elastic latch with the locking projection. Accordingly, even large or heavy monitors can be installed or removed more safely and quickly by the user without a separate fastening tool.
[0048] The mounting completion position may refer to a reference position where the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) can be normally fixed to the mounting part (3). At the mounting completion position, the fastening groove, fastening hole, locking part, or reference projection of the monitor mounting plate (5) may be positioned to correspond to the fastening pin (47), locking projection, locking lever, or switch of the mounting part (3). When the mounting completion position is reached, the installation assist part (4) may form a mounting completion state by advancing the fastening pin (47), engaging the latch, locking the toggle link, or moving the lock indicator.
[0049] The load-responsive support member is configured to vary the rotational resistance or support force of the direction changer (2) based on at least one of the load of the monitor, the rotational position of the direction changer (2), and the coupling state of the mounting member (3). The load-responsive support member can adjust the mechanical rigidity of the bracket structure, the frictional force of the rotation axis (20), or the joint support force according to the physical specifications of the mounted monitor, whether it is mounted, the rotational position, or the coupling stability. Accordingly, the load-responsive support member can prevent sagging of the monitor in response to changes in the weight of the monitor, while ensuring that excessive operating resistance does not occur when the user operates the monitor.
[0050] The load of the monitor may include the vertical weight load of the monitor itself applied to the mounting part (3) by gravity. Additionally, the load of the monitor may include at least one of the weight of the monitor mounting plate (5), the load of the cable connected to the monitor, the moment acting on the rotation axis (20) when the monitor is pulled forward, or the external force temporarily transmitted to the direction change part (2) when the user operates the monitor. The load-corresponding support may increase or decrease the rotational resistance or support force of the direction change part (2) according to such load or moment.
[0051] The rotational position of the direction changer (2) may be a mechanical position indicating how much the monitor has moved in the up-down, left-right, or rotational direction. For example, when the monitor is pulled forward significantly, the moment acting on the rotation axis (20) may increase, and when the monitor is tilted downward, the sagging load on the tilt axis may increase. The load-corresponding support may increase the rotational resistance of the direction changer (2) or reinforce the support force according to these rotational positions.
[0052] The coupling state of the mounting part (3) may refer to a mechanical state regarding whether the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) has been properly inserted into the mounting part (3), whether it has reached the mounting completion position, whether the fastening pin (47) has been inserted into the fastening groove, or whether the locking part is in an unlocked state or a locked state. The load-corresponding support may be configured to allow adjustment of the rotational resistance of the direction changer (2) when the coupling state of the mounting part (3) is stable, or to restrict the rotation of the direction changer (2) when the coupling state is incomplete. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the direction change operation from taking place when the monitor mounting is incomplete.
[0053] Varying the rotational resistance may mean increasing or decreasing the frictional force or braking force generated when the rotation axis (20) of the direction change unit (2) attempts to rotate, depending on the usage state of the monitor. For example, when the load of the monitor is heavy, the rotational resistance of the rotation axis (20) is increased to prevent the monitor from sagging downward due to its own weight, and when the load of the monitor is light, the rotational resistance is relatively lowered so that the user can adjust the position or posture of the monitor with less force.
[0054] Varying the support force may mean that the direction changer (2) adjusts the force supporting the monitor in its current position according to the usage state. The support force may be formed by the frictional force of the rotation axis (20), the elastic force of the spring, the compressive force by the cam structure, the surface frictional force of the friction disc (65), or the locking force of the fixing member. The support force may increase with increasing load on the monitor, and may decrease or return to the initial state when the monitor is removed or released.
[0055] Varying the rotational resistance or support force of the direction change part (2) is not limited to a manual adjustment method in which the user artificially tightens or loosens the friction screw of the joint using an external tool such as a hex wrench, but may include a mechanical mechanism inside the bracket that automatically increases the tightening torque of the joint as the monitor becomes heavier and relatively decreases the tightening torque as the monitor becomes lighter. Accordingly, the head-down phenomenon where the monitor gradually sags downward due to its own weight or the loosening of the hinge can be reduced, and even if the user replaces the monitor, the appropriate tilt or swivel operation feel can be secured without a separate torque calibration process.
[0056] A monitor arm device may refer to a device that supports a monitor in a positionally adjustable manner relative to a target for installation, including the bracket structure described above. The monitor arm device may include only one rotating arm, or it may be composed of a multi-joint structure including a plurality of rotating arms, a link arm, a height adjustment part, a cable management part, a mounting part (3), and a fixing part (1). The bracket structure may be applied to at least one of the end part, the intermediate joint part, or the mounting target connection part of the monitor arm device.
[0057] The monitor arm device is fixed to the installation target through the fixing part (1), changes the position or posture of the monitor through the direction changing part (2), and can stably mount the monitor or monitor mounting plate (5) through the mounting part (3) and the installation assist part (4). In addition, the monitor arm device can provide installation convenience, direction changing convenience, and position maintenance performance for monitors of various weights and specifications by adjusting rotational resistance or support force in response to changes in the load or rotational position of the monitor through the load-responsive support part.
[0058] Additionally, the installation aid (4) comprises: a tapered guide rail (44) formed on the mounting part (3) to guide the insertion trajectory of the monitor mounting plate (5) toward the center of the fastening; a contact-type position detection switch (45) that is physically pressed by the monitor mounting plate (5) to generate a trigger signal when the monitor mounting plate (5) reaches a completed mounting position; a plurality of fastening pins (47) arranged in multiple directions along the inner edge of the mounting part (3) and inserted into the fastening groove of the monitor mounting plate (5) when advanced; a synchronization link plate (41) that is connected to each of the fastening pins (47) to simultaneously advance the fastening pins (47) toward the fastening groove; and a shape memory alloy driving wire (42) that contracts upon the application of current according to the input of the trigger signal to move the synchronization link plate (41) toward the locking direction. It may include: an overcenter toggle mechanism that is mediated between the synchronization link plate (41) and the fastening pin (47) and moves to an overcenter position exceeding the dead point by the contraction force of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42), thereby mechanically maintaining the forward state of the fastening pin (47) even when the power supply is interrupted; a release operation unit (46) that returns the overcenter toggle mechanism from the overcenter position to the release position when the fastening release operation is performed; and an elastic return unit (43) that presses the synchronization link plate (41) in the opposite direction to retract the fastening pin (47) when the overcenter toggle mechanism returns to the release position.
[0059] The installation assist unit (4) is configured to guide the monitor mounting plate (5) to a reference mounting position even if the user does not precisely align the fastening position during the process of the monitor or the monitor mounting plate (5) being coupled to the mounting unit (3), and to switch the monitor mounting plate (5) to a locked state at the mounting completion position. The installation assist unit (4) can sequentially perform insertion guidance of the monitor mounting plate (5), detection of the mounting completion position, simultaneous advancement of the fastening pin (47), mechanical maintenance of the fastening state, and retraction of the fastening pin (47) upon release. Accordingly, the user can mount the monitor by simply pushing the monitor roughly into the mounting unit (3), thereby reducing the burden of separate screw fastening or tool operation in the rear space.
[0060] The tapered guide rail (44) is formed in the mounting portion (3) and is configured to guide the insertion trajectory of the monitor mounting plate (5) toward the center of the connection. The tapered guide rail (44) is provided on the entrance side of the mounting portion (3) to guide the physical entry path when the user connects the monitor. Here, "tapered" may refer to a funnel-shaped, wedge-shaped, inclined surface-shaped, or inclined groove-shaped structure in which the entrance side is relatively wide and the width gradually narrows as it goes further inside.
[0061] The tapered guide rail (44) allows the left and right edges or the top and bottom edges of the monitor mounting plate (5) to slide along the inclined surface of the tapered guide rail (44) and be corrected toward the center of the connection, even if the monitor mounting plate (5) is inserted into the mounting portion (3) in a slightly offset state. For example, even when a user is holding a heavy monitor and it is difficult to visually confirm the exact center position of the mounting portion (3), the corners of the monitor mounting plate (5) can come into contact with the tapered guide rail (44) and self-align to the correct position of the mounting portion (3). Accordingly, the convenience of single-person installation can be improved even in an assembly environment where the rear of the monitor obstructs the user's view.
[0062] The above-mentioned center direction of fastening may refer to a direction in which the fastening groove of the monitor mounting plate (5) and the plurality of fastening pins (47) are aligned to corresponding positions. For example, the above-mentioned center direction of fastening may correspond to the center vertical line, center horizontal line of the mounting part (3), the center arrangement line of the fastening pins (47), or the reference center line of the monitor mounting plate (5). The tapered guide rail (44) may operate in such a way that it allows eccentric insertion during the initial insertion of the monitor mounting plate (5) and reduces the positional error of the monitor mounting plate (5) as the insertion depth increases.
[0063] The contact position detection switch (45) is configured to generate a trigger signal by being physically pressed by the monitor mounting plate (5) when the monitor mounting plate (5) reaches a completed mounting position. The contact position detection switch (45) can mechanically detect that the monitor mounting plate (5) has reached a correct seating position where it is inserted all the way along the tapered guide rail (44) and no longer goes in. The contact position detection switch (45) may be placed on the inner rear end, bottom, or side wall of the mounting part (3), and may be composed of a micro switch, limit switch, or elastic contact switch that is pressed by the rear end, reference projection, insertion projection, or pressing surface of the monitor mounting plate (5).
[0064] Unlike optical sensors or magnetic sensors, the above contact-type position detection switch (45) can be operated by physical contact with the monitor mounting plate (5). Accordingly, the mounting completion position can be detected relatively reliably even in harsh installation environments such as dust, metal powder, oil, changes in lighting, or external magnetic fields. The trigger signal may be a signal indicating that the monitor mounting plate (5) has been successfully inserted to the mounting completion position, and may be an electrical contact signal, a circuit connection signal, or a short-circuit signal for supplying current to the shape memory alloy drive wire (42).
[0065] The above contact-type position detection switch (45) can prevent the plurality of fastening pins (47) from advancing prematurely while the monitor mounting plate (5) is not yet fully inserted. That is, the above contact-type position detection switch (45) can function as a mounting completion confirmation unit that initiates a locking operation only after the fastening groove and the plurality of fastening pins (47) reach a corresponding position. Accordingly, the problem of fastening failure occurring when the fastening pins (47) get caught on the flat surface or corner of the monitor mounting plate (5) instead of the fastening groove can be reduced.
[0066] A plurality of fastening pins (47) are arranged in multiple directions along the inner edge of the mounting portion (3) and are configured to be inserted into the fastening groove of the monitor mounting plate (5) when advanced to mechanically restrain the monitor mounting plate (5). The plurality of fastening pins (47) may be formed in the form of cylindrical pins, square cross-section pins, wedge-shaped pins, or locking pins having an inclined surface at their ends. The plurality of fastening pins (47) may be arranged at least two of the upper, lower, left, right, or corner directions of the mounting portion (3), and each fastening pin (47) may be arranged to be linearly movable in the front-rear direction, the inner-outer direction, or the radial direction.
[0067] The fact that the plurality of fastening pins (47) are arranged in multiple directions means that the monitor mounting plate (5) is not held only in one direction, but is restrained by wrapping around it in the up, down, left, right, or circumferential directions. Accordingly, even if the fastening part in one direction becomes temporarily loose due to eccentric load or external vibration, the fastening pins (47) arranged in other directions can provide auxiliary support to the monitor mounting plate (5). This allows the fastening rigidity of the entire mounting part (3) to be maintained more uniformly, and reduces the possibility of shaking or partial detachment of the monitor mounting plate (5).
[0068] The above fastening groove may refer to a groove, hole, cut, or locking slot formed in the monitor mounting plate (5) into which the plurality of fastening pins (47) are inserted. The fastening groove may be formed on the outer edge of the monitor mounting plate (5), around a VESA fastening hole, a separate locking projection, or on the side of the mounting plate. When the plurality of fastening pins (47) are inserted into the fastening groove, the monitor mounting plate (5) may be restricted from moving forward, falling downward, shaking left and right, or retracting in the opposite direction of insertion relative to the mounting portion (3).
[0069] The synchronization link plate (41) is configured to be connected to each of the plurality of fastening pins (47) in a manner that allows the plurality of fastening pins (47) to advance simultaneously toward the fastening groove. The synchronization link plate (41) can function as a mechanical medium that synchronizes the movement of the plurality of fastening pins (47) by a single driving input to prevent the monitor from being connected crookedly by the plurality of fastening pins (47) operating at different timings. The synchronization link plate (41) may be formed as a plate-shaped member, a ring-shaped member, a cross-shaped link member, or a slider-shaped member disposed inside the mounting part (3).
[0070] The above synchronization link plate (41) can be connected to the plurality of fastening pins (47) in a pin coupling, link coupling, slot coupling, or cam slot coupling manner. When the synchronization link plate (41) moves a certain distance in a straight line in the locking direction or rotates at a certain angle, the moving force or rotational force is simultaneously transmitted to each fastening pin (47), so that the plurality of fastening pins (47) can advance toward the fastening groove side at the same timing, the same depth, or substantially corresponding speed. Accordingly, the phenomenon of uneven fastening where only one side of the monitor mounting plate (5) locks first can be reduced.
[0071] The above-described synchronization link plate (41) can distribute the force transmitted from a single driving source to the plurality of fastening pins (47). For example, when the synchronization link plate (41) moves in a horizontal direction, the inclined cam slot formed in the synchronization link plate (41) pushes the pin driving projection formed on each fastening pin (47), so that the upper fastening pin (47) moves downward or forward, the lower fastening pin (47) moves upward or forward, and the left and right fastening pins (47) move inward or forward simultaneously. Accordingly, multi-directional fastening can be achieved with only the contraction force of a single shape memory alloy driving wire (42).
[0072] The shape memory alloy driving wire (42) is configured to contract by applying current in response to the input of the trigger signal, thereby moving the synchronization link plate (41) in the locking direction. The shape memory alloy driving wire (42) may be configured as a linear actuator that contracts to a pre-stored length or shape by generating heat when current is applied, such as a nickel-titanium alloy. One end of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) is fixed at a fixed point inside the mounting part (3), and the other end is connected to the synchronization link plate (41) or the overcenter toggle mechanism, so that when contracted, the synchronization link plate (41) can be pulled in the locking direction.
[0073] The shape memory alloy drive wire (42) can be used instead of a motor or solenoid, which may be bulky or generate mechanical noise. The shape memory alloy drive wire (42) is easy to place even in a narrow space inside a bracket and can generate linear traction force with only a relatively simple application of current. The current for the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) can be supplied by a trigger signal of the contact-type position detection switch (45) and can be provided from any one of an auxiliary battery built into the mounting part (3), power supplied from a monitor, an external power source, or an inductive power generator.
[0074] The shape memory alloy drive wire (42) can function as a drive source that moves the synchronization link plate (41) or the overcenter toggle mechanism in the locking direction, rather than as a component that directly pushes the plurality of fastening pins (47). Accordingly, the contraction force of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) is distributed to the plurality of fastening pins (47) through the synchronization link plate (41), and the plurality of fastening pins (47) can advance simultaneously toward the fastening groove. Separating the drive source and the fastening member in this way increases the freedom of placement of the drive wire and can be advantageous for reducing the thickness of the mounting part (3).
[0075] The overcenter toggle mechanism is configured to be mediated between the synchronization link plate (41) and the fastening pin (47), and to mechanically maintain the forward state of the fastening pin (47) even when the power supply is interrupted by moving to an overcenter position exceeding the dead point by the contraction force of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42). The overcenter toggle mechanism may include a first link, a second link, a link rotation pin, and a toggle support, and may be formed in a structure in which the first link and the second link bend in a locking direction after passing through a dead point position that is close to a straight line.
[0076] The dead point may refer to a reference position where the rotation center, driving point, and output point of the toggle link are substantially aligned in a straight line, thereby changing the direction of movement of the link. The over-center position may refer to a position where the over-center toggle mechanism has moved beyond the dead point and into the locking direction. When the over-center toggle mechanism reaches the over-center position, even if an external force in the retractable direction is applied to the fastening pin (47), the link structure does not easily fold and can form a supporting force in a direction that maintains the forward state of the fastening pin (47).
[0077] The above-described overcenter toggle mechanism can mechanically maintain the fastening state without requiring continuous tension of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42). Accordingly, the fastening state of the monitor mounting plate (5) can be maintained even if the current supply to the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) is interrupted, the supply state of the power supply unit becomes unstable, or the drive wire cools down after mounting is complete and the contraction force decreases. This structure is advantageous for ensuring both mounting convenience and fastening stability by separating electrical driving and mechanical locking maintenance.
[0078] The above-described overcenter toggle mechanism can function as a fail-safe fastening maintenance mechanism. Here, fail-safe refers to a structure that prevents the fastening state of the monitor mounting plate (5) from being immediately released even if an abnormal condition occurs, such as power cutoff, a malfunction in the driving circuit, or a decrease in the contraction force of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42). However, since the above-described overcenter toggle mechanism can be released by the release operation part (46) described later in the event of an intentional release operation by the user, both fastening maintenance and the possibility of separation can be secured.
[0079] The release operation unit (46) is configured to return the overcenter toggle mechanism from the overcenter position to the release position when the lock is released. The release operation unit (46) may be formed as an external button, slide lever, rotary knob, pull tab, or emergency pin insertion mechanism that returns the link mechanism in the overcenter position to a position prior to the dead point to release the mechanical lock when the user wishes to remove the monitor. The release operation unit (46) may be configured to be positioned on the outer side, lower side, or side of the mounting unit (3) so that the user can access it when wishing to detach the monitor.
[0080] The release position may refer to a state in which the overcenter toggle mechanism is returned to a position that allows the dead point or the retraction of the fastening pin (47). When the release operating part (46) is operated, a release cam, release link, or release projection connected to the release operating part (46) may push a part of the link of the overcenter toggle mechanism to move it out of the overcenter position. At this time, since the self-holding state of the overcenter toggle mechanism is released, the fastening pin (47) is no longer fixed in the forward position and becomes capable of retraction.
[0081] The elastic return part (43) is configured to retract the fastening pin (47) by pressing the synchronization link plate (41) in the opposite direction of the locking direction when the overcenter toggle mechanism returns to the release position. The elastic return part (43) is a component that accumulates a return force against the contraction force of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42), and may be composed of any one of a coil spring, a leaf spring, a torsion spring, an elastic rubber member, or a Belleville spring. The elastic return part (43) is positioned between the internal fixed point of the mounting part (3) and the synchronization link plate (41), so that it is compressed or tensioned during the locking operation, and can return the synchronization link plate (41) to its original position using the stored elastic force during the release operation.
[0082] The elastic return part (43) can compensate for the problem that it is difficult to retract the fastening pin (47) solely by the cooling return characteristic of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42). That is, the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) contracts to perform a locking operation when current is applied, but may not provide sufficient return force immediately after the current is cut off. Accordingly, the elastic return part (43) can stably detach the plurality of fastening pins (47) from the fastening groove by pushing or pulling the synchronization link plate (41) in the opposite direction of the locking direction.
[0083] The mounting operation of the above-mentioned installation aid (4) can be initiated during the process in which the monitor mounting plate (5) is guided along the tapered guide rail (44) toward the fastening center of the mounting part (3). When the monitor mounting plate (5) reaches the mounting completion position, the contact-type position detection switch (45) is pressed to generate a trigger signal, and current is applied to the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) by the trigger signal. When the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) contracts, the synchronization link plate (41) moves in the locking direction, and a plurality of fastening pins (47) linked to the synchronization link plate (41) simultaneously advance toward the fastening groove.
[0084] When the plurality of fastening pins (47) are inserted into the fastening groove, the overcenter toggle mechanism reaches an overcenter position beyond the dead point, and the forward state of the fastening pins (47) can be mechanically maintained. Accordingly, even after the current supply to the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) is cut off, the fastening pins (47) do not retract, and the monitor mounting plate (5) can remain fixed to the mounting part (3). At this time, since the monitor mounting plate (5) is constrained in multiple directions by the plurality of fastening pins (47), the phenomenon of detachment from the mounting part (3) due to the load of the monitor or external vibration can be reduced.
[0085] The release operation of the above-mentioned installation aid (4) can be initiated during the process in which the user operates the above-mentioned release operation unit (46). When the above-mentioned release operation unit (46) is operated, the overcenter toggle mechanism returns from the overcenter position to the release position, and the maintenance of the forward state of the fastening pin (47) by the overcenter toggle mechanism is released. Subsequently, the above-mentioned elastic return unit (43) presses the above-mentioned synchronization link plate (41) in the direction opposite to the locking direction, thereby retracting the plurality of fastening pins (47) from the fastening groove of the above-mentioned monitor mounting plate (5). Accordingly, the user can separate the above-mentioned monitor mounting plate (5) from the mounting unit (3).
[0086] As a result, the above-mentioned installation aid (4) can continuously perform position alignment, mounting completion detection, simultaneous driving of the fastening pin (47), overcenter self-holding function, and elastic return release function within a single mounting part (3). Accordingly, during the monitor mounting process, the physical burden on the user and fastening errors are reduced, safety is ensured through the mechanical holding force of the fastening pin (47) after mounting is complete, and when separating, the fastening state can be easily released using the release operation part (46) and the elastic return part (43).
[0087] And, the load-responding support member comprises: a preload-variable cam-friction disc assembly (65) that automatically varies the rotational resistance torque applied to the rotation axis (20) of the direction changer (2) in conjunction with the increase in vertical load applied to the direction changer (2); and the preload-variable cam-friction disc assembly (65) comprises: a load transfer slider (61) coupled to the side of the mounting member (3) and moving linearly downward by the self-weight of the monitor when the monitor is mounted; a micro hydraulic damper (62) having a unidirectional orifice valve structure disposed on the movement path of the load transfer slider (61) and mechanically delaying the upward return speed of the load transfer slider (61) when the monitor is removed to mitigate the return shock; and an eccentric cam member (63) that converts the linear movement of the load transfer slider (61) into rotational movement and has a cam surface with a logarithmic spiral shape in which the cam radius increases non-linearly according to the rotation angle. It may include: a wedge-shaped pressure block (64) that advances along the axial direction of the rotation axis (20) in conjunction with the phase change of the cam surface of the eccentric cam member (63); a plurality of friction discs (65) arranged in a multiple cross-sectional arrangement in the axial direction on the rotation axis (20) and mutually compressed by the advancement of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) to increase the rotational resistance torque of the rotation axis (20); and at least one Belleville spring member (66) that elastically supports the friction discs (65) in the compression direction and distributes the mechanical compression force by the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) to the friction discs (65).
[0088] The load-responding support is configured to mechanically adjust the rotational resistance or support force applied to the rotation axis (20) of the direction changer (2) in conjunction with the increase in vertical load applied to the direction changer (2). The load-responding support allows the rotational resistance torque of the rotation axis (20) to automatically increase or decrease in response to the weight of the mounted monitor, even if the user does not manually adjust the degree of tightening of the rotation axis (20) using a separate wrench, screwdriver, or torque adjustment tool. Accordingly, when a relatively light monitor is mounted, the direction changer (2) can be operated smoothly, and when a relatively heavy monitor is mounted, the rotation axis (20) supports the monitor with greater resistance to suppress the sagging of the monitor.
[0089] An increase in vertical load may refer to a state in which the load acting downward on the mounting part (3) or the direction change part (2) increases as the monitor is mounted on the mounting part (3). Here, the vertical load may include not only the self-weight of the monitor body, but also the weight of the monitor mounting plate (5), the downward tension of the cable connected to the monitor, the moment acting on the rotation axis (20) when the monitor is pulled forward, or the external force temporarily generated when a user performs a direction change while pressing the top or bottom of the monitor. As this vertical load increases, the load-responding support increases the rotational resistance torque acting on the rotation axis (20) of the direction change part (2), thereby reducing the phenomenon in which the monitor gradually tilts downward due to its own weight.
[0090] The rotational resistance torque may refer to a resistance moment generated in opposition to the direction in which the rotation axis (20) intends to rotate. For example, when the monitor is about to tilt downward, a rotational moment due to the self-weight of the monitor is generated on the rotation axis (20), and the load-responding support can form a rotational resistance torque by increasing the frictional force, elastic force, or compressive force opposing it. The rotational resistance torque is not set to a single fixed value, but can automatically change depending on the load of the monitor, the mounting state, or the current position of the rotation axis (20).
[0091] The preload variable cam-friction disc assembly (65) is a mechanical assembly included in the load-corresponding support that varies the preload on the rotation axis (20) of the direction changer (2). Here, the preload may refer to a compressive force or elastic support force applied in advance to the friction disc (65), Belleville spring member (66), wedge-shaped pressure block (64), or eccentric cam member (63) to form rotational resistance of the rotation axis (20). The preload variable cam-friction disc assembly (65) can convert the weight of the mounted monitor into mechanical displacement and compressive force, thereby automatically adjusting the basic frictional force or tightening strength required on the rotation axis (20).
[0092] The above preload variable cam-friction disc (65) assembly converts the vertical load of the monitor into a linear displacement of the load transfer slider (61), converts the linear displacement into rotational motion of the eccentric cam member (63) and axial forward motion of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64), and then transmits the forward force of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) to the Belleville spring member (66) and the friction disc (65) to increase the rotational resistance torque of the rotation axis (20). Accordingly, even if the user replaces the equipment from a light monitor to a heavy monitor, they can secure rotational resistance corresponding to the load of the monitor without separately readjusting the tightening screw of the joint part.
[0093] The load transfer slider (61) is configured to be coupled to the mounting part (3) and to move linearly downward by the self-weight of the monitor when the monitor is mounted. The load transfer slider (61) can function as a mechanical input element that first converts the vertical load of the monitor into physical displacement and transmits that displacement to a subsequent mechanism, such as an eccentric cam member (63) or a connecting link. The load transfer slider (61) can be positioned inside the mounting part (3), between the mounting part (3) and the direction change part (2), or at a lower support position where the load of the monitor mounting plate (5) is transmitted.
[0094] The load transfer slider (61) may be configured to move along a guide groove, guide rail, or slider receiving groove extending in the vertical direction, and may be guided by guide walls on both sides so as not to shake in the left-right or front-back directions. For example, when the monitor mounting plate (5) is coupled to the mounting part (3), the lower part of the monitor mounting plate (5), the lower support jaw of the mounting part (3), or the load transfer projection connected to the mounting part (3) may press the load transfer slider (61) downward. At this time, the heavier the weight of the mounted monitor, the greater the force with which the load transfer slider (61) moves downward, and as a result, a greater physical pressure can be transmitted to the subsequent mechanism.
[0095] Moving in a straight line downward for a predetermined range means that the load transfer slider (61) does not move downward indefinitely due to the weight of the monitor, but moves downward only within a predetermined range of movement. For example, the movement range of the load transfer slider (61) may be divided into a first movement range corresponding to a small monitor, a second movement range corresponding to a medium monitor, and a third movement range corresponding to a large monitor. When the load transfer slider (61) is located in the first movement range, a relatively small preload is formed, and when it is located in the third movement range, a relatively large preload is formed.
[0096] A micro hydraulic damper (62) is positioned on the movement path of the load transfer slider (61) and is configured to mechanically delay the upward return speed of the load transfer slider (61) when the monitor is removed, thereby mitigating the return shock. The micro hydraulic damper (62) may include a small cylinder, a piston, a fluid receiving space, and an orifice passage, and may be configured so that the piston moves in conjunction with the movement of the load transfer slider (61). The micro hydraulic damper (62) may provide relatively small resistance when the load transfer slider (61) moves downward and provide relatively large flow resistance when the load transfer slider (61) returns upward.
[0097] A unidirectional orifice valve structure may refer to a structure that provides different flow resistances when the fluid moves in one direction and when it moves in the opposite direction. For example, when the load transfer slider (61) moves downward due to monitor mounting, the fluid can move quickly through a relatively wide bypass path or check valve, and when the load transfer slider (61) returns upward after monitor removal, the fluid can move restrictively through a narrow orifice path. Accordingly, the load transfer slider (61) can be controlled to descend relatively smoothly when the monitor is mounted, and to return slowly when the monitor is removed.
[0098] The return shock may refer to the shock that occurs when the load acting on the load transfer slider (61) is suddenly removed as the monitor is separated from the mounting part (3), and the load transfer slider (61) rapidly returns to its initial position due to the reaction force of the compressed spring, cam structure, or friction disc (65) assembly. The micro hydraulic damper (62) can mitigate this return shock to reduce sudden reverse rotation of the eccentric cam member (63), instantaneous retraction of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64), impact load of the friction disc (65), collision noise of internal parts of the assembly, occurrence of play, or damage to the cam surface. Accordingly, the durability and operational stability of the load-bearing support can be improved even in an environment where the monitor is repeatedly mounted and removed.
[0099] The eccentric cam member (63) is configured to convert the linear movement of the load transfer slider (61) into rotational motion and to have a cam surface in the shape of a logarithmic spiral in which the cam radius increases non-linearly according to the rotation angle. The eccentric cam member (63) can function as a power conversion element that converts linear displacement caused by a load transmitted downward into rotational motion and converts the rotational motion into a pressing force on the wedge-shaped pressing block (64). The eccentric cam member (63) may be formed such that the center of rotation does not coincide with the geometric center of the cam surface, or that the outer cam surface pushes the wedge-shaped pressing block (64) with different amounts of compression depending on the rotation phase.
[0100] The eccentric cam member (63) may be rotated in conjunction with at least one of an inclined slot, a rack gear, a link arm, a cam follower pin, or a connecting rod formed in the load transfer slider (61). For example, when the load transfer slider (61) moves downward, the cam follower pin inserted into the inclined slot formed in the load transfer slider (61) may move along the inclined slot and rotate the eccentric cam member (63). As another example, a rack gear may be formed on one side of the load transfer slider (61), and a pinion gear may be coupled to the rotation axis (20) of the eccentric cam member (63) so that the linear movement of the load transfer slider (61) is converted into rotational movement of the eccentric cam member (63).
[0101] A cam surface with a logarithmic spiral shape may refer to a cam profile formed such that the cam radius increases at a constant or non-linear rate as the rotation angle of the eccentric cam member (63) increases. Here, the cam radius may refer to the distance from the center of rotation of the eccentric cam member (63) to the cam surface in contact with the wedge-shaped pressure block (64). When the cam radius is small, the pressure transmitted to the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) is small, and as the cam radius increases, the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) advances further, thereby increasing the compressive force on the friction disc (65).
[0102] The above-described logarithmic helical cam surface can be configured so that, rather than simply linearly increasing the rotational resistance torque in response to increased monitor load, a greater increase in compressive force occurs in the heavy-weight region. For example, when a monitor weighing 5 kg to 8 kg is mounted, a relatively gradual increase in rotational resistance is achieved to allow the user to easily change direction, and when a large monitor weighing 12 kg or more is mounted, the rotational resistance torque can be set to increase more significantly to prevent sagging of the monitor. This structure is advantageous in an environment where monitors of various weights and specifications are mounted on a single bracket structure.
[0103] The wedge-shaped pressure block (64) is configured to advance along the axial direction of the rotation axis (20) in conjunction with the phase change of the cam surface of the eccentric cam member (63). The wedge-shaped pressure block (64) can function as a contact element that transmits a compressive force toward the friction disc (65) by converting the increase in the rotation radius of the eccentric cam member (63) into a linear pushing force moving along the rotation axis (20). The wedge-shaped pressure block (64) may have a follower surface on one side that contacts the cam surface and a pressure surface on the other side that transmits a compressive force toward the friction disc (65) or the Belleville spring member (66).
[0104] The wedge-shaped pressure block (64) may include an inclined surface, a tapered surface, or a wedge surface, and may be positioned so that the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) is pushed in the axial direction of the rotation axis (20) as the eccentric cam member (63) rotates. Advancing along the axial direction of the rotation axis (20) may mean that the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) moves in a direction that compresses the friction disc (65) along the longitudinal direction of the rotation axis (20), rather than in a direction that rotates around the rotation axis (20). For example, if the rotation axis (20) is a tilt axis extending in the left and right directions, the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) may advance along the left and right directions of the tilt axis to press the friction discs (65) in the axial direction.
[0105] A plurality of friction discs (65) are arranged in a multi-cross pattern in the axial direction on the rotation axis (20) and are mutually compressed by the advancement of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) to increase the rotational resistance torque of the rotation axis (20). The plurality of friction discs (65) can function as resistance elements of a multi-plate clutch type that secure a plurality of friction surfaces within a limited joint space to form a rotational braking force. The plurality of friction discs (65) may include a through hole in the center through which the rotation axis (20) passes, and may be arranged in a form in which a plurality of thin plate-shaped members are stacked along the axial direction of the rotation axis (20).
[0106] A multiple cross arrangement may mean an arrangement in which rotational resistance is not formed by only one friction disk (65), but by alternately arranging multiple disks that rotate relative to each other to form multiple friction surfaces. For example, if an axial friction disk (65) that rotates in conjunction with the rotation axis (20) and a fixed friction disk (65) that is coupled to a fixed housing and whose rotation is restricted are alternately arranged, frictional force may be generated between the opposing surfaces of each adjacent disk. When the multiple friction disks (65) are pressed in the axial direction by the advance of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64), the frictional forces of the opposing surfaces are added together, and the rotational resistance torque of the rotation axis (20) may be increased.
[0107] The friction disc (65) can generate rotational resistance torque by generating surface friction between the mutually facing planes of adjacent friction discs (65), rather than generating primary friction between the outer surface of the rotation shaft (20) and the inner surface of the through hole of the friction disc (65). Accordingly, local wear of the rotation shaft (20) can be reduced, and relatively stable rotational resistance can be provided by utilizing a wide contact surface. In addition, using multiple friction discs (65) increases the number of contact surfaces, so sufficient rotational resistance torque can be secured even within the limited internal space of the bracket.
[0108] The plurality of friction discs (65) can prevent the rotation axis (20) from easily slipping or the monitor from tilting downwards, even when the center of gravity of the monitor is shifted forward and a large rotational moment is generated on the rotation axis (20). For example, when the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) strongly compresses the plurality of friction discs (65) in the axial direction, frictional force is superimposed on the opposing surface between the friction disc (65) that intends to rotate together with the rotation axis (20) and the friction disc (65) whose rotation is restricted relative to the fixed housing. Accordingly, even if the user stops the monitor at a desired angle and lets go of the hand, the direction changer (2) can stably maintain the current angle.
[0109] The Belleville spring member (66) is configured to elastically support the friction disc (65) in the compression direction and distribute the mechanical compression force from the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) to the friction disc (65). The Belleville spring member (66) is an elastic spring member having a dish-shaped or conical cross section and can generate a restoring force when compressed in the axial direction. The Belleville spring member (66) may be positioned between the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) and the plurality of friction discs (65), or on one side in the axial direction of the plurality of friction discs (65).
[0110] The above-mentioned Belleville spring member (66) can elastically support a large axial load even within a short compression space compared to a conventional coil spring, so it may be advantageous to place it inside a bracket joint where thickness is limited. The above-mentioned Belleville spring member (66) can cushion the local pressure transmitted by the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) and distribute it as a relatively uniform surface pressure across the entire plurality of friction discs (65). Accordingly, the phenomenon of excessive wear on only a specific friction disc (65) or the concentration of rotational resistance on only some friction surfaces can be reduced.
[0111] The above-mentioned Belleville spring member (66) can compensate within a certain range for changes in spacing due to fine wear, thermal expansion, or assembly tolerances of the friction discs (65) that may occur during repeated use. When the plurality of friction discs (65) repeatedly perform compression and relative rotation over a long period, the friction surfaces may wear down little by little, causing the initial compression force to decrease. In this case, the Belleville spring member (66) can continue to support the friction discs (65) in the compression direction with elastic restoring force, thereby preventing a rapid decrease in rotational resistance torque.
[0112] The operation of the above preload variable cam-friction disc (65) assembly can be initiated when the monitor is mounted on the mounting part (3) and the load transfer slider (61) is pressed downward. When the load transfer slider (61) moves linearly downward, the movement can be converted into rotational movement of the eccentric cam member (63) through an inclined slot, link, rack gear, or cam follower. When the eccentric cam member (63) rotates, the part having the larger cam radius among the logarithmic spiral cam surfaces pushes the wedge-shaped pressure block (64), and the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) can advance in the axial direction of the rotation axis (20).
[0113] When the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) advances in the axial direction, the forward force can be transmitted to the plurality of friction discs (65) through the Belleville spring member (66). When the plurality of friction discs (65) are compressed against each other in the axial direction, the frictional force increases between the opposing surfaces of the disc that rotates in conjunction with the rotation axis (20) and the disc whose rotation is restricted relative to the fixed housing. Accordingly, the rotational resistance torque that opposes the force of the rotation axis (20) attempting to rotate due to the self-weight of the monitor increases, and sagging or unintentional rotation of the direction changer (2) can be suppressed.
[0114] The above preload variable cam-friction disc assembly (65) can form a larger preload as the load of the mounted monitor increases, and a relatively smaller preload as the load of the mounted monitor decreases. Accordingly, when a light monitor is mounted, the user can obtain a smooth turning sensation, and when a heavy monitor is mounted, the user can obtain a supporting force that keeps the monitor stable in its current position. This structure has the advantage of being able to form a rotational resistance torque corresponding to the weight of the monitor without performing separate manual torque adjustment after replacing the monitor.
[0115] The above preload variable cam-friction disc (65) assembly can prevent the rapid return of internal parts even when the monitor is removed. That is, when the load of the monitor is removed, the load transfer slider (61) attempts to return to its initial position, but the micro hydraulic damper (62) delays the upward return speed, thereby mitigating the rapid reverse rotation or retraction of the eccentric cam member (63) and the wedge-shaped pressure block (64). Accordingly, the durability, operability, and long-term position retention performance of the load-bearing support can be improved even during the repeated mounting and removal of the monitor.
[0116] In addition, the installation aid (4) comprises: a first guide section formed at the entrance side of the tapered guide rail (44) and having an entry width wider than the fastening center direction to allow left-right eccentric insertion of the monitor mounting plate (5); a second guide section continuously formed at the rear of the first guide section and progressively correcting the left-right and up-down positions of the monitor mounting plate (5) in the fastening center direction as the insertion depth of the monitor mounting plate (5) increases; an insertion depth limiting stopper that contacts the rear end of the monitor mounting plate (5) or a reference projection to limit further insertion of the monitor mounting plate (5) when the monitor mounting plate (5) reaches the mounting completion position; and a driving circuit that supplies current to the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) for a predetermined time based on the trigger signal of the contact-type position detection switch (45), but cuts off the supply of current to the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) after the overcenter toggle mechanism reaches the overcenter position. A wire fixing part (1) that fixes one end of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) to an internal fixed point of the mounting part (3) and connects the other end of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) to a synchronization link plate (41); at least one wire guide pulley that winds or supports the middle section of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) to switch the contraction direction of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) to the movement direction of the synchronization link plate (41); a plurality of inclined cam slots formed in the synchronization link plate (41) and into which pin driving protrusions formed on each of the plurality of fastening pins (47) are inserted; a plurality of pin guide bushes fixed to the mounting part (3) to guide each of the fastening pins (47) in a straight line in the forward and backward directions toward the fastening groove; and a lock indicator slider that moves in conjunction with the forward completion position of at least one of the fastening pins (47) and indicates the lock completion state in which the fastening pin (47) is inserted into the fastening groove so that it can be checked from the outside.A release cam that pushes the overcenter toggle mechanism from the overcenter position toward the release position by operating the release operating unit (46); and further includes a fail-safe manual release hole formed on the outer surface of the mounting part (3), which forcibly operates the release cam when an external release pin is inserted to move the overcenter toggle mechanism to the release position; and when the synchronization link plate (41) moves in the locking direction due to the contraction of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42), a plurality of inclined cam slots push the pin drive projection to simultaneously advance the fastening pin (47) along the pin guide bushing toward the fastening groove; when the fastening pin (47) reaches the advanced completion position, the overcenter toggle mechanism mechanically restricts the retraction of the synchronization link plate (41) from a position exceeding the dead point, and the lock indicator slider moves to the lock completion indicator position; and when the release cam is operated by the operation of the external release pin through the release operation part (46) or the fail-safe manual release hole, the overcenter toggle mechanism returns to the release position, and the elastic return part (43) moves the synchronization link plate (41) in the opposite direction of the locking direction to move the plurality of fastening pins (47). It can be configured to retract from the fastening groove.
[0117] The above installation assist unit (4) may be configured to mechanically guide and control the entire process from the initial stage where the monitor mounting plate (5) is inserted into the mounting unit (3) to the stage where a locked state is formed after mounting is completed. The above installation assist unit (4) may not be a structure that simply hangs the monitor mounting plate (5), but may be configured as a complex mounting assist structure that corrects the insertion position step by step, detects the mounting completion position, advances a plurality of fastening pins (47) simultaneously, allows the locked state to be checked from the outside, and allows the fastening state to be manually released in emergency situations.
[0118] The first guide section may be formed on the entrance side of the tapered guide rail (44) and may be a section that allows for positional error when the monitor mounting plate (5) first enters the mounting section (3). The first guide section may be formed to have a wider entry width compared to the direction of the fastening center, so that even if the user cannot align the monitor mounting plate (5) with the exact center of the mounting section (3), the monitor mounting plate (5) can easily enter the entrance of the mounting section (3). For example, the first guide section may be composed of an inclined entrance that opens in the left and right directions, an entry groove that expands in the up and down directions, or a funnel-shaped receiving section that accepts the corners of the monitor mounting plate (5).
[0119] The fact that the first guide section has a wide entry width may mean that even if the monitor mounting plate (5) approaches slightly tilted or eccentrically to one side while the user's view is obscured by the monitor body, the corners of the monitor mounting plate (5) do not deviate outside the entrance of the mounting part (3) and can be accommodated inside the first guide section. Accordingly, the burden of initial insertion alignment can be reduced even when a single person mounts a large or heavy monitor.
[0120] The second guide section may be a section that is continuously formed behind the first guide section and gradually corrects the left-right and up-down positions of the monitor mounting plate (5) in the direction of the fastening center as the insertion depth of the monitor mounting plate (5) increases. The second guide section may have a relatively narrower width than the first guide section and may include an inclined or curved guide surface that becomes closer to the fastening center as it moves inward toward the mounting part (3). Accordingly, the monitor mounting plate (5) can be guided to a position where the fastening pin (47) and the fastening groove correspond as it slides along the guide surface of the second guide section during the insertion process.
[0121] The fact that the second guide section is gradually corrected means that as the monitor mounting plate (5) moves along the inclined surface of the second guide section by the physical force of the user pushing the monitor inward, the left-right and up-down play is reduced stepwise, and as a result, the plurality of fastening pins (47) are aligned to a geometric mounting reference position where they can be inserted into the fastening groove. For example, an inclined support surface that supports the bottom of the monitor mounting plate (5) may be formed on the lower side of the second guide section, and an upper guide surface that limits the lifting of the top of the monitor mounting plate (5) may be formed on the upper side.
[0122] The insertion depth limiting stopper may be configured to limit further insertion of the monitor mounting plate (5) by contacting the rear end or reference projection of the monitor mounting plate (5) when the monitor mounting plate (5) reaches a completed mounting position. The insertion depth limiting stopper may be formed protruding near the inner rear end, lower support wall, side wall, or fastening centerline of the mounting part (3), and may function as a mechanical stop point to prevent the monitor mounting plate (5) from being pushed inward beyond an allowed limit position.
[0123] The above insertion depth limiting stopper can function as a reference member that accurately aligns the front-rear relative position of the fastening pin (47) and the fastening groove. If the monitor mounting plate (5) is inserted too deeply, the fastening pin (47) may pass through the fastening groove and not be inserted normally, and conversely, if the insertion is insufficient, the fastening pin (47) may not reach the fastening groove. By consistently limiting the final insertion position of the monitor mounting plate (5), the above insertion depth limiting stopper can ensure that the fastening groove is positioned at the correct corresponding position at the time of the fastening pin (47) advancing.
[0124] The above insertion depth limiting stopper can mitigate inertial force or impact that may occur when a user forcefully pushes a heavy monitor into the contact position sensing switch (45), driving circuit, synchronization link plate (41), or other internal driving parts. Accordingly, it can contribute to alignment accuracy at the completed mounting position, as well as prevention of damage to internal parts of the mounting part (3) and improved durability during repeated mounting.
[0125] The driving circuit may be configured to supply current to the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) for a predetermined period of time based on the trigger signal of the contact-type position detection switch (45). The driving circuit may be configured to apply current to the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) only when the contact-type position detection switch (45) is pressed and the mounting completion state is detected. Accordingly, the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) may operate while the monitor mounting plate (5) has not yet reached the correct position, thereby preventing the fastening pin (47) from advancing prematurely.
[0126] The driving circuit can cut off the current supply to the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) after the overcenter toggle mechanism reaches the overcenter position. The shape memory alloy driving wire (42) contracts due to heat generated by the current, but if the current is continuously supplied even after reaching the target displacement, overheating, fatigue accumulation, or power consumption may occur. Therefore, the driving circuit can improve the durability of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) and system stability by stopping the current supply after the overcenter toggle mechanism passes the dead point and becomes capable of maintaining a mechanically locked state on its own.
[0127] The above driving circuit may include a timer circuit that controls the current supply time, a current limiting unit that limits overcurrent, a protection circuit that limits the temperature rise of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42), or a control unit that cuts off the current after a certain delay time after detecting the completion of mounting. Additionally, the driving circuit may be configured to terminate the current supply when the completion of locking is confirmed by being linked with a separate contact switch that directly detects the position of the overcenter toggle mechanism or an auxiliary switch that detects the advanced position of the fastening pin (47).
[0128] The wire fixing part (1) may be configured to fix one end of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) to an internal fixing point of the mounting part (3) and connect the other end of the shape memory alloy driving wire (42) to the synchronization link plate (41). The wire fixing part (1) may perform the role of an anchor to firmly support both ends of the contracting wire so as not to lose tension. For example, the wire fixing part (1) may include a clamp that compresses the wire end, a winding part that winds and fixes the wire, a screw-fastening fixing block, a crimp terminal, or an insulating support part.
[0129] When one end of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) is fixed to an internal fixing point of the mounting part (3) and the other end is connected to the synchronization link plate (41), the contraction force of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) can be converted into a tensile force that moves the synchronization link plate (41) in a locking direction. The internal fixing point may be formed on the housing wall, reinforcing rib, fixing bracket, or separate wire anchor part of the mounting part (3), and the connection part on the synchronization link plate (41) side may be composed of a protruding lug, connecting hole, or wire binding part of the link plate.
[0130] The wire guide pulley may be configured to wind or support an intermediate section of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) to convert the contraction direction of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) to the movement direction of the synchronization link plate (41). The wire guide pulley may function as a mechanical path switching component to efficiently utilize the internal space of the limited mounting part (3) housing. For example, the wire guide pulley may be configured in the form of a rotatable small pulley, a low-friction curved guide, a ceramic bushing, or a metal sleeve.
[0131] Since the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) can contract only a portion of its total length, a wire of a certain length or longer can be placed inside the mounting part (3) to secure the required travel distance. The wire guide pulley allows the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) to be arranged in a U-shape, S-shape, W-shape, or other bypass path, thereby ensuring sufficient wire length even within a narrow space. Additionally, the wire guide pulley prevents the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) from bending at a sharp angle, thereby reducing wire fatigue and frictional damage, and allows the contraction force to be transmitted to the synchronization link plate (41) with minimal loss.
[0132] An inclined cam slot may be formed in the synchronization link plate (41) and configured to have a pin driving projection formed on each of the plurality of fastening pins (47) inserted therein. The inclined cam slot may be an elongated hole, a groove, or a through slot formed at an oblique angle with respect to the direction of movement of the synchronization link plate (41), and the pin driving projection may protrude from the rear end or side of the fastening pin (47) and be positioned within the inclined cam slot. When the synchronization link plate (41) moves in the locking direction, the inclined surface of the inclined cam slot may push the pin driving projection to advance the fastening pin (47) toward the fastening groove.
[0133] The inclined cam slot may be a power distribution element that converts the unidirectional linear or rotational motion of the synchronization link plate (41) into multidirectional forward motion of each of the plurality of fastening pins (47). For example, the inclined cam slot connected to the upper fastening pin (47) may be formed to move the fastening pin (47) downward or forward, and the inclined cam slot connected to the lower fastening pin (47) may be formed to move the fastening pin (47) upward or forward. Additionally, the inclined cam slots connected to the left and right fastening pins (47) may each have symmetrical inclination directions to push the pin driving projection inward or forward, respectively.
[0134] The pin guide bush may be configured to be fixed to the mounting part (3) to guide each of the plurality of fastening pins (47) in a straight line in the forward and backward direction toward the fastening groove. The pin guide bush may be inserted into or fixed to the inner edge, side wall, or reinforcing rib of the mounting part (3), and may include a straight guide hole through which the fastening pin (47) passes. Since the fastening pin (47) advances or retracts along the guide hole of the pin guide bush, it can move stably toward the fastening groove without twisting or tilting during the fastening process.
[0135] The pin guide bushing not only guides the linear movement of the fastening pin (47), but can also function as a bearing or bushing to support the fastening pin (47) when the fastening pin (47) receives a load from the monitor mounting plate (5) or an external impact. For example, when the fastening pin (47) is inserted into the fastening groove and receives a force that causes the monitor to sag downward, a shear force or bending force may be applied to the fastening pin (47). The pin guide bushing can secure the support length of the fastening pin (47) to prevent the fastening pin (47) from bending locally or detaching from the mounting part (3).
[0136] The lock indicator slider may be configured to move in conjunction with the advanced completion position of at least one of the fastening pins (47) and to display the lock completion state, in which the fastening pin (47) is inserted into the fastening groove, so that it can be verified externally. The lock indicator slider may be formed as a display member that is linked to the fastening pin (47), the synchronization link plate (41), or the overcenter toggle mechanism, and may be exposed to the user through a display window formed on the outer surface of the mounting part (3).
[0137] The lock indicator slider can display the incomplete lock state and the complete lock state at different locations, colors, shapes, or exposed areas. For example, if the fastening pin (47) has not reached the advanced completion position, a first color or a blank indicator may be displayed on the display window, and if the fastening pin (47) is fully inserted into the fastening groove, a second color or a lock indicator pattern may be displayed on the display window. Accordingly, the user can check whether the lock is complete from the outside of the mounting part (3) without directly checking the fastening pin (47) on the back of the monitor.
[0138] The lock indicator slider may be linked to only one of the fastening pins (47), or it may be configured to move only when all of the plurality of fastening pins (47) have reached the advanced completion position. For example, a micro link or detection projection corresponding to each of the plurality of fastening pins (47) may be gathered at a specific location on the synchronization link plate (41), and the lock indicator slider may be configured to move to the lock completion indicator position only when all of the fastening pins (47) have advanced. In this case, the lock completion indicator does not appear when any one of the fastening pins (47) is not fully inserted into the fastening groove, so the user can easily check for incomplete fastening.
[0139] The release cam may be configured to push the overcenter toggle mechanism from the overcenter position toward the release position by operation of the release operating part (46). The release cam may be formed as a cam member that rotates integrally with the release operating part (46) or moves linearly, and may push the release contact part around the first link, second link, or link rotation pin of the overcenter toggle mechanism so that the overcenter toggle mechanism returns to the position prior to the dead point.
[0140] The release cam described above can convert a small operating force from the user into a force in the direction required to release the overcenter toggle mechanism. For example, when the user presses a button on the outside of the mounting part (3), the release cam advances inward to push the link of the overcenter toggle mechanism, and when the user rotates the lever, the release cam rotates eccentrically and can press the overcenter toggle mechanism in the direction of the release position. Accordingly, the user can release the fastening state with a relatively small force even if the overcenter toggle mechanism is in a strong self-holding state.
[0141] The fail-safe manual release hole may be formed on the outer surface of the mounting part (3) and configured to forcibly operate the release cam when an external release pin is inserted to move the overcenter toggle mechanism to the release position. The fail-safe manual release hole may function as an emergency release structure that allows a user to mechanically release the locked state by inserting an external release pin even when the shape memory alloy drive wire (42), the drive circuit part, or part of the release operation part (46) does not operate normally.
[0142] The external release pin may be a dedicated release tool, a thin metal rod, a clip-type pin, or a maintenance pin. When the external release pin is inserted through the fail-safe manual release hole, the tip of the external release pin may push the release cam or an auxiliary lever connected to the release cam. Accordingly, the release cam moves the overcenter toggle mechanism to a release position in the same or similar manner as the normal operation of the release operating part (46), and the elastic return part (43) may return the synchronization link plate (41) and the plurality of fastening pins (47) to their initial positions.
[0143] In the locking operation of the above-mentioned installation aid (4), the synchronization link plate (41) can move in the locking direction due to the contraction of the shape memory alloy drive wire (42). At this time, the plurality of inclined cam slots push each pin drive projection, and the fastening pin (47), which is integral or combined with the pin drive projection, can simultaneously advance toward the fastening groove side along the pin guide bush. In this way, since the movement of the synchronization link plate (41) is converted into the linear forward movement of the plurality of fastening pins (47) through the inclined cam slots and the pin drive projections, the phenomenon of the fastening pins (47) operating individually and unevenly is reduced.
[0144] When the plurality of fastening pins (47) reach the advanced completion position, the overcenter toggle mechanism can mechanically restrict the retraction of the synchronization link plate (41) at the overcenter position exceeding the dead point. Accordingly, even if the current supply to the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) is cut off or the shape memory alloy drive wire (42) cools down and the contraction force decreases, the synchronization link plate (41) does not easily move in the retraction direction. Therefore, the plurality of fastening pins (47) can maintain the advanced state inserted into the fastening groove.
[0145] When the plurality of fastening pins (47) reach the advanced completion position, the lock indicator slider can move to the lock completion indicator position. At this time, the movement of the lock indicator slider may be linked to at least one of the advancement completion of the fastening pins (47), the reaching of the lock position of the synchronization link plate (41), or the reaching of the overcenter position of the overcenter toggle mechanism. Accordingly, the lock indicator slider can function not merely as a decorative indicator, but as a lock confirmation unit mechanically linked to the actual fastening state.
[0146] In the release operation of the above installation aid (4), the release cam can be operated by the operation of an external release pin through the release operating part (46) or the fail-safe manual release hole. When the release cam is operated, the overcenter toggle mechanism returns from the overcenter position to the release position, and the retraction limit of the synchronization link plate (41) can be released. Subsequently, the elastic return part (43) moves the synchronization link plate (41) in the opposite direction of the locking direction, thereby retracting the plurality of fastening pins (47) from the fastening groove.
[0147] As a result, the installation aid (4) can integrally perform functions within a single mounting part (3), such as allowing wide eccentric insertion of the monitor mounting plate (5), stepwise position correction, prevention of over-insertion, detection of completion of mounting, driving of the synchronization link plate (41) by the shape memory alloy drive wire (42), simultaneous advancement of the plurality of fastening pins (47) through the inclined cam slot, maintaining the fastening state through the overcenter toggle mechanism, checking the fastening state through the lock indicator slider, and releasing through the release operation part (46) and the fail-safe manual release hole. Accordingly, the ease of installation, fastening stability, lock verification, and emergency maintenance of the monitor can be improved together.
[0148] Additionally, the friction disc (65) comprises: at least one axial friction disc (65) coupled to the rotation axis (20) so as to be rotated in conjunction with the rotation axis (20); and at least one fixed-side friction disk (65) coupled to the fixed-side housing of the direction changer (2); wherein the axial-side friction disk (65) and the fixed-side friction disk (65) are alternately arranged along the axial direction of the rotation axis (20), and the axial-side friction disk (65) is coupled to rotate together with the rotation axis (20) through at least one of a non-circular through hole, a keyway, a spline groove, and a coupling projection corresponding to the outer circumference shape of the rotation axis (20), and the fixed-side friction disk (65) has its rotation with respect to the fixed-side housing restricted by inserting a fixing tab or fixing projection formed on its outer surface into a fixing groove formed in the fixed-side housing, and when the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) advances by the eccentric cam member (63), the axial-side friction disk (65) and the fixed-side friction disk (65) are axially compressed against each other through the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) and the Belleville spring member (66), and the The rotational resistance torque of the rotation axis (20) can be configured to increase by the frictional force generated between the opposing surfaces of the axial friction disk (65) and the fixed friction disk (65).
[0149] The friction disc (65) may be a plate-shaped friction member that is compressed axially to impart rotational resistance torque to the rotation axis (20) of the direction changer (2). The friction disc (65) may include an axial friction disc (65) that rotates together with the rotation axis (20) and a fixed friction disc (65) whose rotation is restricted relative to the fixed housing of the direction changer (2). By arranging the axial friction disc (65) and the fixed friction disc (65) alternately along the axial direction of the rotation axis (20), a multi-plate clutch type friction structure can be formed. Accordingly, stable rotational resistance torque can be formed by utilizing surface friction occurring on multiple opposing surfaces, rather than relying solely on local friction between the outer surface of the rotation axis (20) and the inner surface of the through hole of the friction disc (65).
[0150] The axial friction disc (65) may be a dynamic friction member coupled to the rotation axis (20) so as to rotate in conjunction with the rotation axis (20). The axial friction disc (65) may include a through hole in the center through which the rotation axis (20) passes, and the through hole may not be a simple circular hole but may include at least one of a non-circular through hole, a keyway, a spline groove, or a groove corresponding to a coupling projection that can engage with the outer circumference shape of the rotation axis (20). Accordingly, when the rotation axis (20) attempts to rotate due to the direction change operation of the monitor or its own weight, the axial friction disc (65) also attempts to rotate together with the rotation axis (20).
[0151] The above non-circular through hole may be formed to correspond to a flat surface, D-cut surface, polygonal cross-section, or elliptical cross-section formed on the outer surface of the rotation axis (20). For example, if a part of the rotation axis (20) has a D-cut cross-section, the through hole of the axial friction disk (65) may also be formed in a corresponding D-cut shape. In this case, the axial friction disk (65) may be assembled in the axial direction of the rotation axis (20), but may rotate together with the rotation axis (20) without slipping in the rotational direction.
[0152] The keyway may be a groove formed on the inner circumference of the through hole of the axial friction disk (65) to engage with a key or protruding rib formed on the rotation axis (20). The spline groove may be formed in multiple numbers around the through hole of the axial friction disk (65) to engage with a plurality of axial protrusions or grooves formed on the outer circumference of the rotation axis (20). Such an engaging structure allows rotational torque generated from the rotation axis (20) to be transmitted to the axial friction disk (65) without slippage, and enables the axial friction disk (65) to rotate stably in sync with the rotation axis (20) even under torsional stress generated when changing the monitor direction.
[0153] The fixed-side friction disc (65) may be a static friction member coupled to the fixed-side housing of the direction changer (2) so as to restrict rotation relative to the fixed-side housing. The fixed-side housing may refer to a housing that rotatably supports the rotation axis (20), a bracket body, a hinge case, or a non-rotatable support part of the direction changer (2). The fixed-side friction disc (65) may include a through hole in the center through which the rotation axis (20) can pass, but may be configured to maintain a stationary state relative to the fixed-side housing without rotating together with the rotation axis (20).
[0154] The fixed-side friction disk (65) may include a fixed tab or a fixed projection formed on its outer surface. The fixed tab or the fixed projection may be inserted into a fixed groove, guide slot, axial groove, or rotation limiting groove formed in the fixed-side housing. The fixed tab or the fixed projection may be a coupling portion protruding radially from the outer edge of the fixed-side friction disk (65) and may limit the rotational freedom of the fixed-side friction disk (65) by being fitted into a corresponding groove of the fixed-side housing.
[0155] The fact that the fixed-side friction disk (65) is restricted from rotating relative to the fixed-side housing may mean that the fixed-side friction disk (65) is suspended from the fixed-side structure so as not to rotate together with the rotation axis (20). However, axial fine movement or elastic displacement may be allowed so that the fixed-side friction disk (65) can be compressed axially by the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) and the Belleville spring member (66). That is, the fixed-side friction disk (65) may be positioned in a state where it is constrained in the rotational direction and can move restrictively in the axial direction to transmit the compression force.
[0156] The above-mentioned axial friction disk (65) and the above-mentioned fixed friction disk (65) may be arranged alternately along the axial direction of the rotation axis (20). For example, they may be stacked in the order of the axial friction disk (65), the fixed friction disk (65), the axial friction disk (65), and the fixed friction disk (65) based on the axial direction of the rotation axis (20). Alternatively, depending on the required rotational resistance torque and the internal space of the bracket, a plurality of axial friction disks (65) and a plurality of fixed friction disks (65) may be arranged in a stacked structure of 3, 5, 7, or more.
[0157] The above alternating arrangement may mean that an axial friction disk (65) intended to rotate together with the rotation axis (20) and a fixed friction disk (65) whose rotation is restricted by the fixed housing are arranged adjacently. Accordingly, when the rotation axis (20) attempts to rotate, the axial friction disk (65) attempts to move in the direction of rotation, and the fixed friction disk (65) attempts not to rotate, so a state is created in which relative sliding occurs on the opposing surfaces between them. At this time, when an axial compressive force is applied, the rotation of the rotation axis (20) is resisted by the frictional force between the opposing surfaces.
[0158] The opposing surface of the friction disk (65) may be a flat or annular contact surface where the axial friction disk (65) and the fixed friction disk (65) face each other. On the opposing surface, fine irregularities, radial grooves, circumferential grooves, a friction material coating layer, a ceramic coating layer, a metal sintering layer, or a high-friction resin layer may be formed to increase the friction coefficient. Additionally, the opposing surface may be composed of an unlubricated dry friction surface to ensure the stability of the friction force, or a semi-dry friction surface to which a limited viscous material is applied to reduce noise and wear.
[0159] The wedge-shaped pressure block (64) can provide a pressure force that compresses the axial friction disk (65) and the fixed friction disk (65) in the axial direction while advancing by the eccentric cam member (63). The wedge-shaped pressure block (64) has a follower surface that contacts the cam surface of the eccentric cam member (63) and can move in the axial direction of the rotation axis (20) according to the rotation of the eccentric cam member (63). When the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) advances in the axial direction, the advancing force of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) can be transmitted to the friction disk (65) laminate through the Belleville spring member (66).
[0160] When the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) directly and strongly presses the friction disc (65) stack, local pressure may be concentrated on some of the friction discs (65). To alleviate this, the Belleville spring member (66) is positioned between the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) and the friction disc (65) or on one side of the friction disc (65) stack in the axial direction so as to elastically transmit the pressure of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64). The Belleville spring member (66) may be formed in the shape of a dish or conical washer and can generate a restoring force when compressed in the axial direction.
[0161] The above Belleville spring member (66) can cushion the local forward force of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) and allow a relatively uniform compressive force to be applied across the entire opposing surface of the axial friction disc (65) and the fixed friction disc (65). Accordingly, the concentration of compressive force on only specific friction surfaces can be reduced, and the entire plurality of friction discs (65) can contribute uniformly to the formation of rotational resistance torque.
[0162] Additionally, the Belleville spring member (66) can compensate for wear, thermal expansion, assembly tolerances, or minute changes in spacing due to repeated use of the friction disc (65). For example, even if the opposing surfaces of the axial friction disc (65) and the fixed friction disc (65) are slightly worn due to repeated rotation and compression, the Belleville spring member (66) can continue to support the friction discs (65) in the compression direction by means of an elastic restoring force. Accordingly, the initial compression force is maintained within a certain range, and the phenomenon of the rotational resistance torque rapidly decreasing can be reduced.
[0163] When the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) advances by the eccentric cam member (63), the forward force of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) compresses the Belleville spring member (66), and the elastic reaction force of the Belleville spring member (66) can compress the axial friction disk (65) and the fixed friction disk (65) axially against each other. At this time, the axial friction disk (65) and the fixed friction disk (65) are compressed on opposing surfaces facing each other, and when the rotation shaft (20) attempts to rotate, the rotational resistance torque of the rotation shaft (20) can be increased by the frictional force between the opposing surfaces.
[0164] The magnitude of the rotational resistance torque may vary depending on at least one of the forward amount of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64), the cam radius of the eccentric cam member (63), the elastic modulus of the Belleville spring member (66), the number of stacks of the friction disk (65), the friction coefficient of the opposing surface, and the effective radius of the friction disk (65). For example, if the load of the monitor increases and the eccentric cam member (63) rotates to a position with a larger cam radius, the forward amount of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) increases, and the compressive force acting on the friction disk (65) increases, so the rotational resistance torque may increase.
[0165] The structure of the above-mentioned axial friction disc (65) and the above-mentioned fixed friction disc (65) may be advantageous for suppressing sagging of the direction changer (2) due to the load of the monitor. When the above-mentioned rotation axis (20) attempts to rotate due to the self-weight of the monitor, the axial friction disc (65) attempting to rotate together with the above-mentioned rotation axis (20) receives frictional resistance at the contact surface with the fixed friction disc (65). Since the frictional resistance acts as a torque in a direction opposite to the rotational direction of the above-mentioned rotation axis (20), the phenomenon of the monitor arbitrarily lowering or tilting from the angle set by the user can be reduced.
[0166] The above friction disc (65) structure may be advantageous in terms of durability compared to a method that generates direct friction on the outer surface of the rotating shaft (20) by strongly tightening the rotating shaft (20) itself. If friction is relied upon between the outer surface of the rotating shaft (20) and the inner surface of the through hole, localized wear, noise, play, or rotational non-uniformity may occur on the surface of the rotating shaft (20). On the other hand, in the above embodiment, since frictional force is generated between the wide opposing surfaces of the shaft-side friction disc (65) and the fixed-side friction disc (65), the frictional load is distributed over a wide area, and wear on the rotating shaft (20) itself can be reduced.
[0167] The above friction disc (65) structure can generate a relatively large rotational resistance torque even within a limited internal bracket space by utilizing multiple friction surfaces. For example, if the axial friction disc (65) and the fixed friction disc (65) are stacked to form four or more opposing surfaces, the frictional force generated from each opposing surface is added up, resulting in a greater braking effect than when only one friction surface is used. Accordingly, the position maintenance performance of the direction changer (2) can be improved even when a large monitor or a monitor with a center of gravity protruding forward is mounted.
[0168] The above-mentioned axial friction disc (65) and the above-mentioned fixed friction disc (65) can be modularized for ease of assembly and maintenance. For example, the friction discs (65) can be inserted sequentially into the rotation axis (20), and then prevented from coming off at the axial end by means of a fixing nut, snap ring, fixing washer, or cover plate. Additionally, the above-mentioned fixed housing has an axial fixing groove into which a fixing tab of the above-mentioned friction disc (65) is inserted, so that the above-mentioned friction disc (65) can be inserted axially during assembly and restrained in the rotational direction after assembly.
[0169] The axial friction disk (65) and the fixed friction disk (65) may have different materials or surface treatments. For example, the axial friction disk (65) may be formed from a metal plate, a stainless steel plate, or a high-strength alloy plate, and the fixed friction disk (65) may be formed from a metal plate with a friction material attached, a fiber-reinforced resin plate, or a ceramic-coated plate. Alternatively, the friction material may be formed on the opposite surface of the axial friction disk (65), and the fixed friction disk (65) may be composed of a metal support plate. These material combinations may be selected according to the required friction coefficient, wear resistance, noise characteristics, and manufacturing cost.
[0170] For example, when the operation of the above friction disc (65) structure is mounted and the eccentric cam member (63) rotates, the eccentric cam member (63) advances the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) in the axial direction. The forward force of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) is transmitted to the friction disc (65) stack through the Belleville spring member (66), and the axial friction disc (65) and the fixed friction disc (65) come into axial contact with each other. In this state, when the user moves the monitor, the axial friction disc (65) attempts to rotate together with the rotation axis (20), and since the rotation of the fixed friction disc (65) is restricted by the fixed housing, friction occurs between the opposing surfaces of the two discs.
[0171] According to the above friction disc (65) structure, when the monitor is light, the amount of rotation of the eccentric cam member (63) and the amount of forward movement of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) are small, so the compression force of the friction discs (65) can be formed small. In this case, the user can change the direction of the monitor with a relatively small force. Conversely, when the monitor is heavy, the amount of rotation of the eccentric cam member (63) and the amount of forward movement of the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) increase, and the compression force between the axial friction disc (65) and the fixed friction disc (65) increases, so the rotational resistance torque of the rotation axis (20) can increase.
[0172] Consequently, the friction disc (65) can alternately arrange an axial friction disc (65) that rotates together with the rotation axis (20) and a fixed friction disc (65) whose rotation is restricted by the fixed housing, and form a rotational resistance torque by compressing these opposing surfaces axially through the wedge-shaped pressure block (64) and the Belleville spring member (66). Accordingly, the direction changer (2) can allow the direction change operation desired by the user while suppressing sagging or unintentional rotation caused by the self-weight of the monitor, and can provide stable position maintenance performance for monitors of various weights.
