Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a sewage receiving device, and more specifically, to a sewage receiving device equipped with a pumping function that prevents freezing by blocking cold air transmitted to the side wall of a riser pipe connected to the upper part of the main body, and simultaneously clears blockage by manually generating pressure using a functional member as a piston when a pipe blockage occurs. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, a sewage receiving tank is a device for the efficient maintenance of drainage facilities and connecting pipes. It is a system that separates and discharges domestic wastewater generated from sinks, bathtubs, etc., and sewage generated from toilets, etc., to prevent odors from flowing back into the home.

[0003] However, conventional sewage receiving systems have a problem in that foreign substances contained in the discharged sewage accumulate, and these accumulated foreign substances interfere with the smooth discharge of the sewage.

[0004] For this reason, accumulated foreign matter must be removed from the sewage receiving tank periodically or as needed.

[0005] To do this, the manhole cover must be opened, and a worker or manager must enter the interior directly to remove foreign objects.

[0006] In this case, the sewage receiving tank is a sealed space where ventilation is difficult, and since the internal air is filled with harmful gases such as hydrogen sulfide and mecan, there is a risk of safety accidents if proper ventilation is not performed.

[0007] In addition, working on the sewage receiving tank is difficult because it is unsanitary and emits a strong odor due to foreign substances mixed with the sewage.

[0008] In addition, there is a risk of slipping and falling or falling due to water or sludge on the floor while entering the sewage tank. Prior art literature

[0013] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a stepped portion with an expanded inner diameter is formed at the upper end of the outer body, and a flange portion with an expanded diameter is formed at the upper end of the inner body to be seated on the stepped portion and to restrict downward movement.

[0014] According to an embodiment of the present invention, an O-ring may be provided on either the outer surface of the inner cylinder or the inner surface of the outer cylinder to generate pressure by maintaining airtightness during the up-and-down reciprocating motion of the inner cylinder.

[0015] According to an embodiment of the present invention, in order to prevent the outer body from being detached together with the inner body due to the frictional force of the O-ring when the inner body moves upward, a detachment prevention ring elastically supported on the inner wall of the riser pipe may be provided on the upper part of the outer body.

[0016] According to an embodiment of the present invention, the inner tube may be composed of a core material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) or extruded polystyrene (XPS) and a surface layer made of synthetic resin (PE, FRP) that surrounds the surface of the core material to ensure durability during pumping.

[0017] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a step may be formed protruding from the lower part of the inner wall of the riser tube to prevent the outer tube from moving downward and to fix its position.

[0018] According to an embodiment of the present invention, the inner and outer bodies of the functional member may use any one of the following insulation materials: flame-retardant fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP), polyethylene (PE), expanded polystyrene (EPS), or extruded polystyrene (XPS).

[0019] According to an embodiment of the present invention, at least one of the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe may be fitted with a retractable bellows-type connecting member to prevent damage to the pipe in the event of ground subsidence. Effects of the invention

[0020] According to the means for solving the problem of the present invention described above, by configuring a pumping unit in the sewage receiving tank, the blockage can be cleared by pushing out foreign matter with the pressure generated by moving the built-in insulating inner body (piston) up and down without a separate tool when the pipe is blocked. In addition, regarding economic efficiency and convenience: since the pump and the insulating material are integrated into a structure, there is no cost for installing a separate electric pump, and maintenance is very simple. [0026] Hereinafter, a sewage receiving tank with a pumping function will be described with reference to the attached drawings.

[0027] FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a sewage receiving device having a pumping function according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 are drawings for explaining the operation process of a sewage receiving device having a pumping function according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a drawing showing the internal configuration of the main body of a sewage receiving device having a pumping function according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a drawing for explaining the trap configuration applied to the sewage receiving device according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0028] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5, a wastewater receiving device according to an embodiment of the present invention may be configured to include a main body (10), a riser pipe (20), a connecting pipe (30), a functional member (40), a spacing rod (50), an inner lid (70), etc.

[0029] First, the main body (10) may include an inlet pipe (110) into which wastewater flows, a receiving section (12) for collecting wastewater flowing into the inlet pipe (110), and an outlet pipe (120) for discharging wastewater collected in the receiving section (12). Specifically, the main body (10) may be provided with a receiving section (12) having an open top, and an inlet pipe (110) communicating with the receiving section (12) may be provided on one side of the receiving section (12), and an outlet pipe (120) communicating with the receiving section (12) may be provided on the other side of the receiving section (12).

[0030] In addition, auxiliary inlet pipes (not shown) are provided on both sides adjacent to one side and the other side of the receiving portion (12) of the main body (10), and a trap (60) is installed inside the main body (10) to prevent odors from flowing back into the room through the inlet pipe (110), and a connecting pipe (30) for connecting a riser pipe (20) may be provided on the top of the main body (10).

[0031] Here, it may be preferable for the outflow pipe (120) to have a larger diameter than the inflow pipes (110) so that wastewater flowing in simultaneously from the multiple inflow pipes (110) can be discharged quickly without stagnation.

[0032] Meanwhile, at least one of the inlet pipe (110) and the outlet pipe (120) may be fitted with a retractable bellows-type connecting member (not shown) to prevent damage to the pipe in the event of ground subsidence.

[0033] A riser pipe (20) is connected to the connecting pipe (30) of the main body (10). The riser pipe (20) functions to extend the receiving portion (12) of the main body (10) close to a manhole cover (not shown) installed on the ground.

[0034] And, an inner lid (70) that shields the inside of the riser tube (20) can be attached to the top of the riser tube (20).

[0035] And, on the upper part of the inner lid (70), a manhole cover (not shown) installed on the ground, i.e., a circular cast iron cover, may be installed.

[0036] A functional member (40) having a pumping function can be inserted into the interior of the riser pipe (20).

[0037] The functional member (40) is composed of an outer body (410) having a hollow portion (411) formed therein and an inner body (420) inserted into the hollow portion (411) of the outer body (410), and the inner body (420) and the outer body (410) can be detachably connected.

[0038] The inner body (420) and the outer body (410) may use any one of the following insulation materials: flame-retardant fiber reinforced plastics (FRP), polyethylene (PE), expanded polystyrene (EPS), or extruded polystyrene (XPS).

[0039] The functional member (40), composed of an inner body (420) and an outer body (410), is inserted into the interior of the riser pipe (20) to block the underground cold air transmitted from the side wall of the riser pipe (20), thereby preventing the freezing of the main body (10) and the trap (60).

[0040] In addition, a spacing rod (50) can be attached to the center of the upper surface of the inner body (420), which functions as a handle for the functional member (40) and also functions to maintain a gap with the inner lid (70) so that the functional member (40) is not pushed upward.

[0041] The spacing rod (50) is connected to the center of the inner body (420) and has a height that contacts the bottom surface of the inner lid (70) which is connected to the top of the riser pipe (20). That is, the spacing rod (50) is supported by the inner lid (70) and supports the functional member (40) so that the functional member (40) is not pushed upward when wastewater flows back, thereby helping to prevent the discharge of backflowing wastewater from the functional member (40).

[0042] Additionally, the spacing rod (50) functions as a handle for the functional member (40). For example, it is necessary to pull out the functional member (40) inserted inside the riser pipe (20) to the outside for maintenance, such as cleaning the receiving portion (12) of the main body or replacing the trap (60).

[0043] At this time, when the inner lid (70) connected to the riser pipe (20) is opened and the spacing rod (50) is lifted by hand, the functional member (40) connected to the spacing rod (50) is pulled out from the riser pipe (20). That is, the spacing rod (50) facilitates the insertion and removal of the functional member (40).

[0044] Additionally, the spacing rod (50) is coupled to the inner body (420), which is a functional member (40), and since the inner body (420) has a detachable fastening structure with the outer body (410), the inner body (420) can be separated from the hollow portion (411) of the outer body (410). Through this, the inside of the main body receiving portion (12) can be checked or cleaned through the hollow portion (411) of the outer body (410).

[0045] In this way, as needed, the entire functional member (40) is not withdrawn to the outside, but only the inner body (420) is withdrawn to allow for simple verification or work, thereby improving the ease of work and the convenience of maintenance.

[0046] Meanwhile, the functional member (40) can perform a pumping function through a piston-cylinder structure.

[0047] That is, the outer body (410) is fixed in close contact with the inner wall of the riser tube (20) and can perform the function of a cylinder by forming a hollow portion (411) that penetrates vertically in the center. Specifically, the outer body (410) is a donut-shaped member that is firmly fitted and fixed to the inner wall of the riser tube (20), and a hollow portion (411) penetrates vertically in the center, and the inner wall of this hollow portion (411) is processed into a smooth cylindrical shape to serve as the inner wall of the piston cylinder.

[0048] A stepped portion (412) with an expanded diameter can be formed at the upper part of the outer body (410) so that the head of the inner body (420) can be caught thereon.

[0049] The inner body (420) is inserted into the hollow portion (411) of the outer body (410) so as to be slidable up and down, and can perform the role of a piston that generates internal pressure during up and down reciprocating motion. Specifically, the inner body (420) is a cylindrical member that is inserted into the hollow portion (411) and can move up and down, and has an extended flange shape on its upper part so as to be seated on the stepped portion (412) of the outer body (410), so that under normal circumstances it is not completely sunk inside the outer body (410) but rests on it and can seal the gap.

[0050] Meanwhile, to withstand friction and pressure during pumping, the surface of the inner body (420) may be coated with flame-retardant plastic (PE) or fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP). That is, the inner body (420) may be composed of a core made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) or extruded polystyrene (XPS) and a surface layer (not shown) made of synthetic resin (PE, FRP) that covers the surface of the core to ensure durability during pumping.

[0051] Additionally, the outer body (410) and the inner body (420) can be manufactured by a double injection molding process with a flame-retardant plastic (PE) or fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) coating.

[0052] Additionally, to generate effective pressure during pumping, an O-ring (421), which is a rubber sealing packing, may be installed on the lower outer surface of the inner body (420). This is to prevent air or water from leaking out through the piston gap during pumping, thereby transmitting strong pressure downwards. In particular, the O-ring (421) may be installed in a manner that is fitted into a seating groove (not shown) formed on the outer surface of the inner body (420).

[0053] According to the embodiment of the present invention as described above, although it has been explained as an example that an O-ring (421) is mounted on the outer surface of the inner body (420), an O-ring (421) may also be provided on the inner surface of the outer body (410) to generate pressure by maintaining airtightness during the up-and-down reciprocating movement of the inner body (420). That is, the O-ring (421) may be mounted in a form fitted into a seating groove (not shown) formed on the outer surface of the outer body (410).

[0054] Meanwhile, to restrict the movement of the outer body (410) during pumping or maintenance, the inner wall of the riser pipe (20) may be provided with a step (210) protruding from the inner wall to support the lower end of the functional member (40), specifically the lower end of the outer body (410). This step (210) on the inner wall of the riser pipe (20) supports the lower end of the functional member (40), allowing the functional member (40) to be stably seated inside the riser pipe (20).

[0055] In addition, a detachment prevention ring (450), such as a C-shaped elastic ring, may be provided on the upper part of the functional member (40) to restrain the outer body (410) by adhering to the inner wall of the riser pipe (20) with tension force. That is, to prevent the outer body (410) from detaching together with the inner body (420) due to the frictional force of the O-ring (421) when the inner body (420) moves upward, a detachment prevention ring (450) that is elastically supported on the inner wall of the riser pipe (20) may be provided on the upper part of the outer body (410).

[0056] The anti-detachment ring (450) is inserted into the interior of the riser pipe (20) in a contracted state and, by the tension force that restores it after insertion, adheres to the inner wall of the riser pipe (20) to support the functional member (40) located at the bottom so that it does not get pushed upward. That is, like the spacing rod (50), it supports the functional member (40) so that it does not get pushed upward when wastewater flows back, thereby helping to prevent wastewater from being ejected from the interior of the riser pipe (20).

[0057] The spacing rod (50) is protruded and coupled to the upper surface of the inner body (420), and normally supports the upper inner lid (70) to prevent backflow, and during maintenance, it can perform the function of a handle that a user can grasp to perform a pumping operation.

[0058] Meanwhile, a trap (60) may be provided inside the main body (10).

[0059] The trap (60) can be configured in the inlet (110) of the main body (10) to prevent odors caused by sewage, etc. from flowing back through the inlet (110).

[0060] In addition, the trap (60) prevents backflow of wastewater or foreign substances introduced from the inlet pipe (110), thereby allowing the compressive force to easily act inside the main body (10) during the pumping operation of the functional member (40), so that foreign substances can be easily discharged toward the outlet pipe (120).

[0061] The trap (60) may include a water-flow section (610) inserted into the inlet pipe (110) of the main body (10).

[0062] Additionally, the trap (60) may include a descending section (620) formed at a certain angle downward from the water section (610).

[0063] One side of the lowering part (620) may include an auxiliary drainage hole (622) of a certain size formed to penetrate so that wastewater can be discharged into the inside of the main body (10) when the amount of wastewater inflow is large.

[0064] Additionally, the trap (60) may include a bend (630) configured to form a pipe that rises from the lowering section (620).

[0065] Additionally, the trap (60) may include an upward section (640) formed at a certain angle upward from the bending section (630).

[0066] Additionally, the trap (60) may be configured at the end of the rising part (640) and may include a drain hole (650) through which wastewater is drained.

[0067] In this case, the inner upper surface of the bend (630) is formed at a height (h) lower than the lowest point of the drain hole (650), thereby ensuring that a certain amount of wastewater is always filled in the bend (630), so as to prevent the odor of the wastewater remaining inside the main body (10) from flowing back toward the inlet pipe (110).

[0068] Additionally, the trap (60) may include a first check plate (660) that supports the auxiliary drain hole (622) of the lowering section (620), so that when the inflow of wastewater increases beyond the normal range, drainage is performed through the auxiliary drain hole (622), and when the inflow of wastewater decreases below the normal range, discharge is performed through the lowering section (620).

[0069] The first check plate (660) is configured on one side of the lowering part (620) to support opening and closing the auxiliary drainage hole (622).

[0070] Additionally, the first check plate (660) may include a first hinge (662) configured on one side to support the first check plate (660) so that it can rotate in the lowering part (620).

[0071] Additionally, the first check plate (660) may include a first spring (664) that supports the first check plate (660) so that when wastewater flows in at a normal range or higher, the first check plate (660) rotates in an open direction due to the flow rate of the wastewater, and when wastewater flows in at a normal range or lower, the first check plate (660) returns to its original position in a direction that closes the auxiliary drain hole (622) due to elastic force.

[0072] The pumping operation of the sewage receiving tank described above is explained as follows.

[0073] First, when foreign matter accumulates in the outlet pipe (120) or trap (60) of the sewage receiving tank, causing drainage to be slow or blockage to occur, the user can clear the blockage by pumping using the functional member (40) without separate specialized equipment.

[0074] First, open the manhole cover installed on the ground and separate and open the inner cover (70) at the top of the riser pipe (20). At this time, the possibility member (40) can be maintained in a seated state inside the riser pipe.

[0075] Then, the user grasps the spacing rod (50) protruding from the upper surface of the inner body (420) with a handle and lifts it upward. At this time, as the inner body (420) rises, the internal space of the hollow section (411) of the outer body (410) expands, and external air or wastewater within the receiving section (12) flows into the hollow section (411).

[0076] During this operation, the outer body (410) is firmly fixed to the inner wall of the riser pipe (20) by the anti-detachment ring (450) installed at the top, so it can be fixed without moving out of position despite the frictional force generated when the inner body (420) rises.

[0077] Then, when you hold the gap-maintaining rod (50) and press it downward strongly and quickly, the inner body (420) descends, and the O-ring (421) provided between it and the outer body (410) seals the gap.

[0078] As the inner body (420) descends rapidly while sealed, strong pressure (water pressure and air pressure) is applied (compression stroke) to the air and wastewater trapped inside the hollow section (411) and the lower receiving section (12), and the wastewater is concentrated in the direction of the outlet pipe (120) to be discharged by the high pressure wave generated during the compression stroke. This pressure strongly strikes and pushes out foreign matter (sludge, clumps of paper, etc.) stuck at the inlet or inside of the outlet pipe (120), thereby discharging it out of the pipe.

[0079] After repeating the suction and compression steps described above several times until drainage becomes smooth, and once it is confirmed that the blockage has been cleared, the inner body (420) is completely seated on the stepped portion (412) of the outer body (410), and the inner lid (70) and the manhole cover are closed to finish the work.

[0080] The above description is merely an illustrative explanation of the technical concept of the present invention, and those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains may make various modifications and variations within the scope of the essential characteristics of the present invention. Accordingly, the embodiments expressed in the present invention are intended to explain, not limit, the technical concept of the present invention, and the scope of rights of the present invention is not limited by such embodiments.
